Everything good accept food not good
There was difficulty with my connecting flight due to inconsistent COVID regulations. I was almost not allowed on, despite fulfilling all my requirements for my destination country. I was over-billed by Alaska Airlines for my luggage as well.
A to Z on this flight was just great!
Fordele: "Three of us were sitting separately. Airline is able to accommodate us so that we get to sit together in a section where there is extra leg room."
Ulemper: "Rather long wait at business check-in, friendliness there ok, on board service slow with the champagne, old aircraft with old configuration of seats, nothing really bad, but it's not like this that you win an airline of the year award!"

Fordele: "I liked the size of the cups for drinks: smaller than usual."
Ulemper: "You could train some of your crews to behave more polite to the customers like they do in the Japanese airlines. Male crews tended to be nicer than female crews."

Ulemper: "The business class seats were smaller than I thought and not so comfortable as the 777. The seats are hard and ungiving and when you sleep on them you really feel it. Plus the flatbed lay out meant you were basically lying in a question mark position, not so goof for tall people like my husband. The food was good but uninteresting and I think for an overnight flight there should be more smaller,lighter, non spicy options offered rather that full dinners."

Ulemper: "Items missing or substituted in the veg but was ok in regular meals. In one veg serving, no salad or dessert was included. Margarine instead of butter for only in the veg meal."

Ulemper: "I Booked a flight that stated that it only had one stop in singapore, then direct to SFO after arriving in singapore i was told that i had to go to a transfer counter, that there was a problem with my ticket. after arriving at the transfer counter they took my boarding pass for my dircet flight to SFO, & told me that i now had a stop in hong kong, that the direct flight to SFO was over booked!! this is not right i wouldn't of booked this flight if they had been truthfull about the extra stop. i will never use singapore airline or kayak again!!!"

Ulemper: "I have to drive from DFW to IAH, I wish Singapore would take over from American and British Air at DFW, honestly Singapore is cheaper, better service, nicer ground and in flight teams. It's worth the extra drive to travel with people that actually care"

Ulemper: "Not much. This airline is up there with the best."

Fordele: "Entertainment even in economy class was excellent -- tons of movies, games, etc. Cabin crew were friendly. Bathroom was very large."
Ulemper: "In economy, seating was incredibly tight (very little legroom) and at least in my seat, very little reclining. For a 14 hour flight through the night, it made it very difficult to actually get any rest. Food was OK."
Fordele: "Efficient courteous and attractive crew. Good food drink selection and great entertainment system."
Ulemper: "Unfortunately the plane was an older 777-200 with smaller TV screens but otherwise fine."

Fordele: "The staff are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend travelling with the airline. The A380 is a great way to travel with more space in economy. I booked seats on the upper deck where there is a smaller economy cabin. Makes you feel a bit more civilised up the top!"
Ulemper: "Economy class isn't great for a long haul flight but the staff make it much more bearable."

Ulemper: "Delay after delay, gate changes, lack of care from employees, missed a day of vacation in Germany, missed out on photos and memories"

Fordele: "The food was ok. It didn't set my heart on fire, but I did finish it."
Ulemper: "The plug to the ear buds was loose to the entertainment unit, and so most of the time I couldn't hear anything! When I could the sound was dreadful."
Fordele: "The crew Were so attentive. And Also not untrusive. If i was asleep they left me and offered me food and drink when i woke. Excellent airline."

Ulemper: "For heaven's sake, please don't announce a boarding procedure and then not follow it. If you want to have a free-for-all rugby scrum to get on the plane, so be it. But don't announce boarding by rows/groups and then not make even a lame attempt to adhere to it."
Fordele: "Did not enjoy the vegetarian menu -cold noodles not appealing. Alcoholic drinks very hard to obtain .. orders taken but not received. Service was friendly though"

Ulemper: "Cabin noise was loud. There was a high pitched whine throughout the whole trip."

Fordele: "I appreciated the friendly and always service minded staff. The plane was clean and I enjoyed good leg room. I was happy with the menus and the film selection was entertaining and current. All over a great experience and I would not hesitate to choose Qatar again."
Fordele: "Gave food vouchers due to extended layover. Marché food quality is average at best."
Ulemper: "Biggest problem was late arrival, missing connection. Lateness caused by them at first, then a departing passenger caused further delay. But they were late to begin with. Next problem was their REFUSAL to give me an aisle seat. I reserved an aisle seat originally, aisle seats were available when I tried to change, but agent REFUSED to accommodate me with either aisle or window. Sat in middle with huge guy next to me. Very uncomfortable. Food was mediocre on this leg. Oh, and late departing AGAIN. Will seriously look for other options on next trip."

Fordele: "Seats were comfortable, they were aware of alternative meal requests, professional, comfortable temperature"
Ulemper: "When dropping my bag at check in counter, the employee at the counter asked, somewhat intrusively, what the extra fee I paid was for. When I told her it was for the Al Mourjan lounge in Doha, her facial response and attitude came across as judgemental, and was not appropriate"
Fordele: "Individual service, happy and natural looking crew, comfort and company aim."
Fordele: "The flight attendants were very friendly. On the flight, snacks and drinks were bright by every hour or so and the meals were plenty of food and tasted good. I was given a bag with eye cover, earplugs, socks, face wipes and ear phones. Entertainment was good as well. Qatar is an amazing airline. Wish we had something like this in the States!"

They just don't want to wait in.line. Handicapped should have wheelchairs but once they have them they should wait like everyone.else"

Fordele: "Qatar airlines was awesome! Comfy seat, great headrest, lots of entertainment options and decent food all on a very short flight. Would definitely fly this airline again!"
Fordele: "Overall, an excellent short flight. I was flying with oversize luggage (bicycle), which is offer a hassle. The ticket agent took care of it without issue, and it arrived safely. Food was OK. I would try Qatar for a long flight if the opportunity arises."
Ulemper: "Boarding was chaotic. Everyone just queued up instead of using zones, etc."

Fordele: "Top notch service by Qatar airline. They accommodated us. We don't eat beef or chicken and didn't know you could request vegetarian online before flight. They found a fish meal and informed us to apply for meal online."
Ulemper: "Seats too close. Person in front was in our lap almost."
Fordele: "The entertainment and food was great. The service as well. They are very attentive to any request."
Ulemper: "When it was time to leave Doha, Qatar there was a massive delay which caused us to be late for any upcoming transfer in BKK. That told me that my would be delivered the next day. I am currently trying to figure out whether they have my bags or not."

Ulemper: "Food was tasty enough, but not hot when served (a common problem with many airlines) and only two options for Premium Economy. Entertainment options also limited."
Ulemper: "Boarding - No announcement regarding boarding, people were unsure when boarding would commence and reason for the delay. Comfort- it was very hot, as temperature control is activated by staff; I asked staff to turn on air conditioning in my area as it was very hot and stuffy, but it was still hot and fairly uncomfortable."
Fordele: "Quick & efficient boarding but cost cutting has taken the shine off what used to be a quality airline experience."
Ulemper: "I’m not fussy about food, but the menu today was about as uninspiring as they come. Along with polite but perfunctory service and a seat that is nothing better than premium economy, I don’t know how they can get away with calling their business class product, Business Class!"

Ulemper: "We arrived plenty early at terminal 2 like the confirmation said. Only to find that over night they changed departures to terminal 3. No signs. No one there to give instructions. Just a security guy saying “take sky train “. We had plenty of time so it was more annoying than anything. So we arrive at the gate and the are having a party to inaugurate the new gate and terminal. I’m glad they celebrated. Haha. Got to laugh. The big crowd at the celebration were passengers who were delayed bordering so they could have a celebration. Part of the adventure."

Ulemper: "Late departing, no gate, waiting, immigration jammed. Overall very bad."
Fordele: "They had good movie choices"
Ulemper: "The stewardesses, for the most part were rude, almost because they were lazy. I had one get pissed because I asked for oolong tea when she was offering coffee or hot tea. Well the cabin was so hot during the whole flight, I didn't want anything hot. She made it seem like she had to go out her way to get it for me. It was on her cart!!! They rarely walked around the cabin to make sure they couldn't get something for you or even take your trash. I held an empty cup during almost an entire movie. When I finally got up to toss it, I gave it to a stewardess who was standing right there by the closes curtain who acted like that it was beneath him to do so. They would rush up and down the isle and pretty much shove your meal on you. Ugh they were just rude. None of want to be there either, especially when it's so hot in the cabin and the seats were so narrow!!"
Ulemper: "Our itinerary did not show that we had to transit in Chiangmai. It came as a surprise when we checked in at the airport. That was very misleading. We had to remove our hand luggage at each stop."
Ulemper: "Waited for at the domestic check in for 40 minutes only to be told to check in at int terminal!! Absolutely ridiculous set up!!"
Fordele: "Nice crew. Good food. Arrived safely."
Ulemper: "I waited in line for 90 minutes to check my bag. Pace of that line moved extremely slowly. I fly frequently. Other airlines are more efficient. Delay 45 Min. in taking off. Delay upon arrival as we waited for what must have been 30-45 min for a people transporter to take us to our gate. I was at the back of the plane and I swear it seemed like they only had one bus making the (long) journey back and forth. All told I arrived over two hours late to my destination for reasons that are likely poor business design. Not a great experience."

Ulemper: "Old aircraft, 747 , seats very comfortable but no flat beds.. Choice of movies but mostly second grade."
Fordele: "Our flight was as always with Thai Airways very good and comfortable. We probably booked our domestic flight a bit too close to the landing of the international flight, and unfortunately, the flight was 25 minutes delayed, but Thai helped us get off the plane as the first people and we made our domestic flight, with a few minutes to spare. Thanks for the help and we will make sure to have a little better time between our flights in the future."
Ulemper: "Our connection flight from Germany was changed and we were not informed meaning we land in Germany after the flight has departed. We're forced to buy a last minute flight with a different airline to ensure we do not miss our honeymoon plans"
Ulemper: "Being charged 5700baht on arrival check in for luggage. No mention of this as I booked through kayak!!!"

Fordele: "The crew are very friendly and helpful. There was a variety of entertainment options, with recent films, tv shows and music options to keep you busy. I also thought the food options were good, too. You didn't go too long without being asked about a new beverage or meal, pretty satisfying."
Ulemper: "The comfort could have been better. I find myself a little fidgety on flights anyway but I also had a sore back and couldn't seem to find a way to get completely comfortable, but I have had worse!"

Fordele: "I really love Thai Air business class internal flights. Great seat layout like the long haul privacy. Thai Air staff always excellent and even on this 70 min flight they serve a hot Thai meal rather than cop out with sarnies. Also was llucky on the flight down to HKt was on a brand new Dreamliner, I think they were testing. Wow! Multi coloured calming lighting and no window blinds ! 5heh work electinically like polarised glasses! What next! Highly recommend Thai Air for business class."

If you running late you need to communicate it to the passengers 1 hr delay and no one at the gate to update us Very stressful as I has a connection to catch
Staff is excellent. Friendly and helpful. Food was quite good. Boarding process is smooth and quick, and our flight was timely.

Fordele: "The planets and stars we're aligned to provide an optimal trip. Price was a huge determinant for me...$800 RT Houston to Delhi just can't be beat. And, their arrival time into Delhi is so early (5: 20 am) that customs and immigration is a breeze."

Fordele: "Turkish continues to go above-and-beyond to provide all of its passengers with a quality experience. Meals were actually good (I opt for the Vegetarian offering) and Economy seats are perfectly fine."
Ulemper: "Both ground staff and inflight crews border on rude, but I choose to believe it's a cultural thing and not a corporate or personal failing. Really, it's a coldness more than anything. No warmth or empathy. Planes are showing their age, particularly in the seat monitors. Screens have dead zones with inoperative icons. Also, quite a few seats were literally falling apart. But, when you fly to more countries than any other airline, some wear-and-tear is to be expected."

Ulemper: "Flight from Istanbul to Bangkok was delayed for 3.5 hours with no apology and no compensatory measures such as drinks and food or lounge access Power outlets in Istanbul airport are all round plug European with no USB terminals for phone recharging"
Ulemper: "Had a layover in Toronto. From Toronto we flew to Istanbul and then Venice. While waiting in line to board in Toronto, I was told my carry-on luggage was too big and needed to be put under. I asked MULTIPLE times where my luggage would be- either Istanbul or Venice (final destination) and EVERY time I asked, I was told my luggage would be waiting for me in Venice. Once we arrived in Istanbul I asked AGAIN if my carry-on luggage was here or if it would be in Venice and I was told it would be in Venice. Once we arrived in Venice, my luggage was nowhere to be found. The lost luggage crew (and 90% of the people in Venice) were completely rude and acted like we were a huge inconvenience for them. (I've heard that many Europeans cannot stand Americans, but we were not being rude or obnoxious at all to anyone- we just wanted a quiet, romantic vacation.) So safe to say that it was an extremely rough start. We were in Venice for the Glass Art Society Conference in Murano and due to my luggage being lost, had missed the first day and a half, therefore wasting hundreds of dollars. Luckily my boyfriend's phone worked in order to spend our first two days of vacation (not to mention the amount of money spent on international calling costs) tracking down my luggage, but again dealt with completely rude people who barely helped us with any answers and even hung up on us multiple times (and I'd like to add that despite my frustration, I made sure that I was not speaking rudely one bit). The best answers we received were from the people at the Istanbul airport who told us that Venice received my luggage hours before I even called Istanbul- which I do not understand why the Venice airport did not tell me this because I spent all day speaking with them. Once I called back the Venice airport to confirm what the Istanbul airport told us, they said (once again rudely) that they called me on my phone but did not answer (which I already told them that my phone did not have any service and to call my boyfriend's phone number). So to sum up: I will never be flying to Venice ever again."

Fordele: "Everything you want in an overnight international flight. Enjoyed the food."
Fordele: "Food was above-average for international flights, and the staff visited the cabin frequently, checking to ensure that customers were okay. It definitely felt like a more personal flying experience."
Ulemper: "Ground support (desk, etc.) in Istanbul was not convenient - the communications were crossed often, and on a long layover we were told incorrect directions and missed an opportunity to sleep in the airport in their resting room (seems to always be full)."
Fordele: "Airplane crew was amazingly friendly and helpful"
Fordele: "І was a passenger with your wonderful Airlines from IST to IAD last week Nov 3rd 2017 and because of misunderstanding and conflict with captain my flight was canceled by him. І don’t remember his name correctly but it was five letters and both vowels (2,4) were “E”. Could you please to let him know that І would like to apologize for my behavior and assure him that it was nothing against him but more about hormonal issues which І believe every woman has more or less during the pregnancy. It is a really big issue for me and my body now. Once again, І do apologize for my actions and that conflict. І didn’t mean it."
Fordele: "The Lounge at Istanbul airport is fantastic"
Ulemper: "Seating in Economy class is terrible. For tall persons like me it is a punshment to be squeazed in such a narrow space. Turkish airlines should add more space and comfort with their seating in Economy. Introduce a Premium Economy Class would solve that problem"
Fordele: "Great food! Loved that you get a menu to choose from"
Ulemper: "We were not asked or given the option to choose our seats on the plane."
Fordele: "Flight attendants need to be friendly."
Ulemper: "I will never use Turkish airlines again."
Ulemper: "The fact that I missed my connection flight in Thailand because of a two hour delay. I was never informed why there was so much of a delay and in turn I had to pay triple of what I payed before for my flight. Very disappointed. Won't be flying this airline again. Service was rude. They should be more responsible when it comes to timing. We were on the flight waiting for two hours!!!"
Fordele: "My flight was delayed by an hour and I missed my flight scheduled to go Mykonos"
Fordele: "Since boarding process thru comfort, food, entertainment, everything was perfect. Back to travel in the airline without thinking twice about it."
Fordele: "Entertainment selection was ok."
Ulemper: "Seats some of the smallest. Staff inattentive. Pressed the attendant button 4 times. Every time ignored. Food provided was not what was on the menu provided. Boarding was a disaster. Over an hour in a terminal with lacking a/c. I want to say it was worth the price, but no. Was the worse flight I have ever been on."
Fordele: "The ticket was a good price with good service"
Fordele: "Great crew. Super nice to our 4 year old daughter. They were quick, extra polite and efficient. I'm usually quite picky but this leg was perfect."
Ulemper: "It was all good(which I rarely get to say these days on any carrier)"
Ulemper: "Departure from Istanbul was delayed, then there was a backup for takeoff, so we sat on the tarmac an extra half hour. Still don't understand why the Istanbul-to-IAD flight is scheduled to be an hour and a half longer than the IAD-to-Istanbul leg was. Apparently there was no effort to make up lost time, so our scheduled 7:10pm arrival was after 8pm. Pasta dish was clearly supposed to be a hot meal, but it was cold when served."
Fordele: "The crew was very attentive and the food is amazing"
Ulemper: "After the second hour the temperature inside the aircraft was very warm started to sweat"
Ulemper: "Why does Turkish Air boarding always have to be so chaotic - pushing and shoving, etc. Why cant TK control their business class space - people from economy always coming up for bathrooms when there are plenty in the back....."
Fordele: "I have taken the same route earlier past year Atlanta-Istanbul-Sarajevo ,and return Overall best experience best comfort and definitely beat food"
Ulemper: "Not mich to be unliked honestly Normally there are long wait lines ,not with Turkish"

Fordele: "I got a special meal -- Asian Vegetarian -- and it was delicious. I have also had the regular Vegetarian on other Turkish Air flights and they have been great too. So congratulations on good food! I just have one suggestion about the food: Just because someone is vegetarian, it doesn't mean that they don't want dessert! I notice that where others have chocolate pudding, for example, I get fruit. I like fruit... but a piece of cake or some other sweet is good too!"
Ulemper: "The pull-down food trays are often angled down so that the food slips into your lap. I often have to hold the cup or glass so it doesn't slip off."
Fordele: "Better food and service than other airlines on which I've traveled recently. Loading passengers was disciplined and speedy. Staff very helpful. Istanbul airport is great for a long wait. If you go to a gate waiting area with no flight soon, you can stretch out and sleep. Good English-language bookstore."

Ulemper: "Omg...the crew...the crew, as was in the past, and with the exception of 1 poor guy who was really trying his best, was RUDE and lacked finess. They would literally kick u in the hallway (while passing this hostess gave me a good knock on my foot and didn't turn around to apologize. ..she kept going). They will serve you food and throw the trays down on your table, talk over you to the other hostess in the other isle while serving you. Speak in the most condescending tone, especially, unfortunately to older folks or foreigners who had a hard time understanding. I mean....total chaos and, for someone who flies often both dom & intl, this has got to be the worst service received, and thought the price point is as juicy as pie, I still expect some level of class and great customer service. It's not worth it."
Food choices were rather poor. Pasta, which is what they seem to serve now in Economy was tasteless.

Fordele: "It was an uneventful flight. The entertainment system worked well and food was good."
Ulemper: "The lights kept coming on every few minutes making sleep nearly impossible."

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Ulemper: "My row had 3 seats behing a row of 4. We were weirdly offset so I had to look to the right to see my TV. Super uncomfortable. Dont like TV much anyway. Gave up on it real quick"

Ulemper: "Didn’t like that I missed original flight by minutes due to chaos of the airport and resolving the issue took about an hour but did like that I was rebooked on the next available flight for no extra charge and the attendant seemed sympathetic to my plight. A simple but important detail."
Ulemper: "Again, there was not enough time between flights. It was a HUGE rush in Denver to get to my next flight, and I almost missed it."

Ulemper: "I have flown Lufthansa several times to Bangalore. My complaint forever has been their baggage service. The bags for priority travelers takes 30-60 mins to arrive. If LH 754 gets delayed going into Bangalore, it creates a bottleneck with Emirates and Etihad arriving at about the same time."

Fordele: "I had to change my flight times three times, and each time they charged me less than 30 dollars (for taxes) and the wait times on the phone were super fast. It was shocking to not lose hundreds of dollars for life happening and needing to change my flight. AND!! I got a free upgrade to premium economy for free!"
Ulemper: "Lufthansa’s service counter in Munich was helpful with locating baggage and unfamiliar with transit rules."
Fordele: "The crew was friendly, offered plenty of food and drink. Very enjoyable flight."
Ulemper: "I was called the night before saying our flight was overbooked will you change flights for 300.00 dollars each. We needed to get home so we turned their offer down. The day of the flight our connection flight was delayed we were told someone would escort several of the passengers from Lufthansa to the connection with United no one was there. Several of us ran to where the flight gate was but the plane already left. It turns out other people were also called and turned down United’s offer. So the question is since our flight was purposely overbooked did United take advantage of our situation and just leave and cause all of us great pain and duress with no compensation for all of our inconvenience."
Ulemper: "Flight was late causing me to miss flight to Chicago ORD. Missed flight left me waiting in Frankfurt over-night with-out a hotel, nor anyone from Lufthansa to assist with finding a sleeping cot. No airport/Lufthansa staff would offer to bring me a cot and all attempts by me to locate a cot were unsuccessful leaving me to walk from area to area to locate were the cots were stored. Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."
Ulemper: "4 good movies, regular water rounds, friendly staff, enough toilets"
Fordele: "The business cabin was excellent for a European airline."
Ulemper: "Flew in business class so baggage should have had priority tag on it. Bag is lost and they have no idea where it is. Ruined an otherwise wonderful trip."
Fordele: "Excellent service during the two hour trip. No complaints whatsoever!"
Ulemper: "No headrest screens for entertainment but I had my phone and downloaded movies and shoes prior to leaving the US."
Fordele: "We had seats in last row 46 during flight to Munich .,it wasn’t enough legroom for me ,mom was ok . Because we were the last people who received dinner we didn’t get any choices , food was just poor for both for us but another passengers were satsifeted Crew was fantastic the best ever ,very pleasant, informative , happy to serve us . I love flighting Lufthansa , they have wonderful people working there ."

Fordele: "We had a very kind crew! We traveled with an infant and while boarding was a mess, the crew on board was kind and helpful and did all they could to make it a good experience."
Ulemper: "Air Canada Rouge operated our flight rather than Lufthansa or other similar airline. This meant that there were no tvs on board, which means the nearly 9 hour flight got very long. Boarding and check-in were also disorganized and many people from lower zones boarded before zone 1 and those with children, m among we had to stand on the ramp for a very long time holding ort baby."

Fordele: "Nothing. It was awful. Worst flight in years."
Ulemper: "Airport,business lounge, boarding process-they didn't know what was going on, business class seats we're nobody size seats, awful food-was supposed to be a hot breakfast but it was dinner instead, no entertainment, no tv screens, said they had wifi but they didn't. Nothing good about the flight. Crew was more concerned about keeping their curtain pulled than anything else."
