Ulemper: "Unfortunately they have moved away from their Exonomy Plus seats that were great and ample room, whereas now their seating in exonomy is very cramped. They also used to have nice amenities on long international flights like a hot towel and some Turkish Delight before takeoff and landing, but they no longer have that. And my biggest complaint is that they keep their planes unbearably hot most ost of the time. It’s by far the most frustrating thing when your cramped in their tiny spaces for 11 hours."

Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Ulemper: "I did not enjoy the turbulence, which I suppose is unavoidable. More importantly, I felt quite guilty about the greenhouse gas emissions of my flight. I have decided to cut down on my air travel as much as possible as a way of reducing my carbon footprint."

This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

I could not store my belongings near me. No power outlet to charge my devices for my own entertainment on a 7 hour flight. Dealing with constant traffic for the bathroom. I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

Ulemper: "They didn’t let us board the plane. Allegedly the plane was changed and make us travel by train!! They offered us a compensation but we haven’t heard from them yet. Not good experience at all."
Ulemper: "Flight delayed by one hour which meant I missed by train at Southampton by 10 minutes and subsequent bus connect home. Next bus would have been 2 hours later so 45 minute walk home from train station. Didn't bother with food offering, put off by that supplied from Hannover to Schiphol."

Ulemper: "KLM's new configuration for this type of plane made the seats even narrower than before. While leg room was reasonable, the 3 abreast seating meant a lot of discomfort, especially in the row right in front of the restroom."

No inflight entertainment
The delayed flight from Montreal was horrible, I know it was air Canada operated that flight but no gate open to be able to sit ,for 4 hours to wait after 2 flights and long hours. I will never flight with 2 layover and especially trough Montreal. Airport in Munich was the only civilized. Check in in Heraklion was also very slow and disappointed.
Carry-on luggage restrictions extremely stringent- did not allow carry-on sized suitcases we have brought on other flights, boarding is slow and disorganized delaying take-off and making difficult to get to connecting flight
The flight was on a very small plane for a transatlantic flight. It was more suitable for a mid-distance domestic flight. The plane was also quite old and its entertainment systems repeatedly froze and shut down. Finally, the airline charged for most food and drinks--on an international flight. I will avoid Lufthansa and its partner, United, in the future. Also, the airports are a disastrous mess, with long lines and huge numbers of flights delayed (although this is beyond the airline's control). Both my flights were delayed substantially.

Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Fordele: "I had to change my flight times three times, and each time they charged me less than 30 dollars (for taxes) and the wait times on the phone were super fast. It was shocking to not lose hundreds of dollars for life happening and needing to change my flight. AND!! I got a free upgrade to premium economy for free!"
Fordele: "Check in was easy, flight was smooth, had good seats with legroom. Liked receiving updates on phone."
Fordele: "I flew in the A380 bulkhead at row 50 from Munich to Hong Kong. Have flown premium economy with Lufthansa before, it was no different from before. The service is efficient. Entertainment was fine and had an interesting selection in their world cinema section."
Ulemper: "A pretty standard experience and nothing which makes you feel special. Other airlines might offer an upgraded meal in premium economy or a special cocktail, but not on Lufthansa."
Fordele: "The seat 16A is very comfortable and spacious. Most of the hosts were friendly and helpful."
Ulemper: "My screen did not function well and sound was very poor. I had to have my computer 'rebooted' two times. The second time was done by a gentleman who was a bit sarcastic when I asked if he could help me, as I had waited 20+ minutes for the help to get it going again. You need to update your system!"
Fordele: "Everything was fine, the crew was excellent. We liked that Lufthansa did provide the special meals (that we requested on-line) for our family."
Ulemper: "The boarding was rather slow (but not extremely so). Calling boarding by row ranges, like some other airlines do, may speed it up or make it more comfortable. The seats were not too comfortable, but within what one can expect for an Economy class --- and not too bad, either."

Fordele: "The crew, both in SFO and on board where e excellent. We were well taken care of, in both area's. The service on the plane were top notch, anticipating our every need. The food was yummy and the entertainment great!"

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed. There was a terrible backlog in Security at Frankfurt Airport. This is not Lufthansa's fault but considering how important Frankfurt is, you would think the airlines would say something. The flight was late. There were no proper queues for boarding. Everone was mixed up, business, gold card, economy, and only one person doing the chekcing of boarding passes. It was not the best process."

Ulemper: "For an international flight on Lufthansa, the 747-8 seats pale in comparison to the A380 seats. Thinner and less comfortable. Seats and armrests were dirty, did not look like they had been cleaned in a very long time."
Ulemper: "4 good movies, regular water rounds, friendly staff, enough toilets"
Fordele: "Very attentive crew; nice leg room on upper deck; extra storage bin under window a nice touch; luggage arrived very promptly on carousel"
Ulemper: "sick, screaming babies in small upper deck space. I realize the airline cant help this but it would be a good idea to seat them all in one area of the aircraft so staff can give them the attention they need."

Fordele: "The entertainment system included ability to access cameras on the tail and belly of aircraft which was interesting to watch takeoff and landing. Crew was great, flight was smooth."
Ulemper: "Seat cushions lacked deep cushions, seats were too close together, could not stand up. Boarding was not done by rows, so took longer than usual."

Ulemper: "Problems with the check-in online that made it impossible and cause that me and my partner had to seated not together. In the counters at the airport, we asked if it was possible a solution as I suffer with big anxiety and needed to be together my partner during the flight, and they answered us in an extremely rude way. Luckily we could change it with other passangers inside the plane by ourselves. Not a fault of Lufthansa but something that made the flight HORRIBLE was an extremelly smelly and very heavy guy seated next to me that used half of my seat and made me be really uncomfortable."
Ulemper: "Not to have 2 distressed cats on board meowing non stop for 10 hours."

Ulemper: "boarding the flight on time instead of delaying it two times... and also putting the information at the flight information screen if I haven't gone to ask to the airport information stand I would never know the flight departure gate that was at the complete opposite side of the airport of were the initial flight was going to depart."

Ulemper: "Air France is not a low fare airlines, I had to pay 225 USD against 3 luggages which is not acceptable. We should have the right for one luggage per ticket as all other airlines. If I knew this will happen, I wouldn’t use Air France and this will be the last time I buy a ticket on Air France"

Queued for nearly two hours before some airport employee gave us instructions to travel by train without any other information or tickets etc. Had to buy my ticket. Couldn’t recuperate my suitcase. Had to wait for it the next day for three hours. Up to this hour I don’t know how I am going to be reimbursed (train and plane)."

Poor communication between plane and ground crew. No explanation from pilot as to continuing reason for delay even after we boarded. Departure time, 1.00 pm, boarded at 1.10, actual departure time 1.45, causing me to almost miss my connection and definitely causing my bags to miss the connection."

Ulemper: "Checking in was ridiculous. They're charging for literally EVERYTHING now. On economy class you have many options: - Normal (free!) "ergonomic" seats: uncomfortable, narrow, really close to the one in front of you. - Normal (exit row): just give up. There's like 6 of these and they're taken immediately. - Normal (middle of the plane): are you kidding me? These are NORMAL seats and you charge an extra €30? - Normal (2 seats per row!): what a bargain. Same crappy seats, but two people instead of three! This is really worth my money. - Upgrade to business! Why are you so poor! AF food went from being the best in international flights to disgusting microwave food (especially vegetarian)."

Ulemper: "Ground service at check-in was very poor: Misinformation and failure to provide a level of service that other SkyMiles partners provide for Gold level traveler."
Fordele: "Boarded 45 minutes late, and then sat in the plane for another two hours before take off due to a problem with the lie computer. Would have been better to spend that time in the terminal and given credits to buy food, etc. My seat was a regular seat (non exit) and the seat did not recline properly, the USB drive was broken, overall the plane felt unmaintained. The crew was friendly and food was good but I felt not enough was done to accommodate the extra hours we had to wait on the plane."
