Ulemper: Our first Air China flight departed 2 hrs late and then to top things off they lost my wife’s luggage on the way to Thailand. We had to wait in the airport for hours for it arrive on the next flight. The experience at Beijing airport was my worst experience in any airport. The Chinese staff were very rude. Just to transfer planes everyone must submit their fingerprints. I don’t think I will ever fly Air China again simply to avoid this airport.

Ulemper: Leg room was poor. All the aisle and window seats were being sold at extra rates. Entertainment system was pre-historic with very limited choices. Food was bland and nothing appealing. The staff, for most part was invisible. They appeared during the serving of the meals and then vanished.

Ulemper: Flight was more than an hour late, it was never explained to us why. That is not a good professional practice- this should be explained to passengers. Boarding was disorganized and seemed to take longer because people were looking for places to stow their carry ons and taking up carry on space with their jackets.

Ulemper: Entertainment needs to improve. there is poor movie selection and the screens are outdated. Touchscreens don’t work very well, movie selection is old. This is a 10+ hour flight please improve entertainment.
Ulemper: Plane was placed far away in the airfield. Buses were taking people and were waiting to be filled. Doors of busses were open, it was cold outside. Priority and non-priority were waiting in the buses outside. Long ride through the field , letting taking off plane to go first. Bus by bus was bringing new portions of passengers. Plane departed late.

Ulemper: my luggage didn't arrive
Ulemper: Hostesses are worse and worse. Forget everything you say. You repeat 5 times. All announcements are made so loudly and 3 times (Russian, English, Spanish). Everyone must wake up. It roars so loadly you can’t hide even in headphones. Late for 30 minutes, which is norm for the company. Then you for the luggage for more than 30 minutes. Worst in Europe.

Ulemper: Unfortunately the seal with extra legroom was comparable with a standard seat from other mid-distance airlines. The food & drink service was only from very limited quality. There was no entertainment on the seat, only with wi-fi oboard on your own handheld.

Ulemper: Frankfurt is a terrible airport to fly through, based on my last two experiences. This time the security was better but still very slow compared to other airports I use routinely. I could have easily missed the connection if I had not left the business lounge early to go to the boarding gate. I try to avoid this airport.
Fordele: The baggage reclaim was the fastest I've ever had in all my years of flying.
Ulemper: Their English is slurred, garbled, and I could hardly understand any in-flight announcements. Also, there is nothing for free on the flight except one small cup of water .
Ulemper: We were subjected by desk attendant Ravoni to buy a second suitcase bc he would not allow us to take our personal items. He was impolite and aggressive.
Fordele: The price what good, and 2 free checked bags.
Ulemper: They checked every piece of hand luggage and declined ppl even when there luggage was small enough just because they had no room on the plane, and charged then $80. No leg room, One flight no outlet

Ulemper: Endless waiting and lost luggage. Excuse was unpredicted weather conditions. It was snowing in Finland so they had to clear the Ice from the planes.. Snowing in Finland? How uncommon is that during December? I think most of this is poor ground handling In Helsinki.

Ulemper: Boarding began 25 min after the indicated time. Huge crowd of people (big Airbus 330) was standing in the corridor in some kind of disorganized manner. Priority entrance was open, but then another 20-25 min in the closed waiting area, some kind of hoarder. Only then the mixture of all passengers was let through the sleeve to the plane. Why bother about Priority? Plane arrive in NYC 35 min late. Many transit passengers worried about their connecting flights.
Fordele: Overall pretty good. Newer plane, business class is well configured.
Ulemper: Food was good, not great. Seats when flat are quite hard.

Ulemper: You cannot book seats in advance which is fine but one would expect that if you have 3 seats on one reservation, you would at least be seated together - nope 3 window seats all over the plane. Boarding was delayed for no reason. Bags took (no exaggeration) about 1.5 hours to come. And it is a hot mess with no carts

Fordele: I flew economy Melbourne > Abu Dhabi and then Abu Dhabi to Melbourne. The first leg of the flight was great, the flight wasn’t full and I had a whole row to myself. The flight attendant even gave me some tips to ensure nobody sat there. This flight was on an A380 so the plane was large and it felt spacious.
Ulemper: There are a number of things that Etihad do that just degrade the quality and experience of the flight and I probably wouldn’t fly with them again as a result. I’ve listed these below: 1) Entertainment system is poorly appointed and travel in two seperate months found that little had been refreshed on the in flight programs. 2) The entertainment system is deactivated until the seat belt sign is turned off, and is deactivated again about 30 minutes prior to landing. 3) You practically have to cut off your arm to get some water. I would always bring my own water on the flight, but Australian regulations prevent more than 100mls being carried on flight. 4) The service is inconsistent, some staff are just downright rude and others are incredibly friendly. The time waiting after pressing the call bell is excessive and in one case my drink never arrived. 5) Unlike other airlines, they don’t give you a “menu” to chose from for the inflight meal. Instead they just come around asking “Chicken, Lamb or vegetarian”, and lack any real understanding of what’s actually in the food. 6) When you order a drink, they open the can pour some into a cup but don’t give you the remainder in the can. 7) The inflight wifi is expensive. 19.95 USD for 180mb puts them at one of the most expensive. Overall, I would have expected a bit more from an airline such as Etihad.
Ulemper: Too little space for carry on compartments. Seats are too tight and tiny, very uncomfortable, staff not interacting or smiling, food was disgusting and tasteless, the aircraft seemed old and was so incredibly noisy the whole trip, and the ventilation was too bad the smell was just old and rusty.

Ulemper: Snacks and water ran out during the last several hours of the flight. For shorter people, their feet would have difficulty touching the floor.

Fordele: Economy comfort was very nice, food decent, plenty of toilets to avoid overcrowding, and good entertainment selection.
Ulemper: I booked tickets via Delta, operated by KLM. They lost both of my check in bags in September, and it happened again today for the same scheduled flights. Had 4 hours of layover and KLM still wasn’t able to manage it.

Fordele: The crew was wonderful. Very polite and professional. The movie selection was the best I had ever had.......great job there!
Ulemper: I am 6-4, so I always struggle with comfort. My legs cramp and my back aches. The meals look good and I even try them sometimes, but me and airline food seldom work out.

As good as it can be when you pay $2,500 for a flight ticket knowing that they are not really there to offer you a service, they are there to make their own money knowing that as a traveler you really have no options other than an airplane if you want to go across the ocean.
Ulemper: The difference here is that in a 9 hour flight you want to keep hydrated. Crew seemed lazy...they would not bring water to travelers very often...and when I called a flight attendant with the button call and politely asked if I could have some water, she seemed pretty annoyed and told me I can just stand up and go take my water in the back where they store food. NOT A GOOD SERVICE FOR $2,500!!!! It’s outrageous!! Seats become smaller and smaller...and you keep asking about my experience...$2,500 to travel seating in a miniature seat with no leg room is a bit much...and I know no flight company cares about this...we have no choice...either take that or don’t travel, right?
Ulemper: Delay of more than two hours caused my booking at the hotel to be cancelled. Not only i lost all my money but have no hotel to stay What is your responsibility on that???
Fordele: I did like Flying with Delta and Air France but not with Ukrainian airlines (when booking , it should tell you what airlines will be used , to make a better selection )
Ulemper: When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !

Fordele: The CDG airport is very bad in terms of finding your connections, the flight to CDG from LAX had a very old entertainment system and was hard to use.

Ulemper: 2.5 hrs on the plane before departure due to last minute technical problem. During long delay, water and small snack given only to the other aisle (not mine). Terrible service.Impossible to buy headsets during long delay. I did not know one is now required to tell online that one wants dinner on the plane. So, no food for me. I had to buy some snacks but most were out-of-stock. Overall very bad

Ulemper: No WIFI on long flights (which likely have business travelers traveling in the middle of a business day) is a very big No-No in 2019. Especially on a brand new planes there is no excuse, the pre ordering of food on the flight is a fine idea just ensure the all interfaces to book the flight makes this VERY clear that’s required.
Fordele: The seats were comfortable, and I like the large windows with the tinted glass.
Ulemper: The boarding procedure could be better organized. Also, I don't like the idea that even water has to be purchased with a credit card.

Fordele: The crew was very friendly and helpful. The flight wasn't full, so they informed me that I could move to an exit row for extra space, as I'm very tall.
Ulemper: This was a relatively long flight, but no food or drinks, even soft drinks, were included. I also found out at the Madrid airport that there was no desk to check in for Norwegian for connecting flights. This means that I had to leave, go to departures, check in, go through security, and then proceed to the gate. I fortunately had a long layover, but this process would have been impossible if I didn't have at least two hours.
