Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

When I finally got to speak to someone, this person couldn’t help me. I got terrible seats because of this, luckily they could switch me to a better seat right before the flight. Think Online check-in should be arranged better."

Ulemper: "The flight took off 2 hours late they must have known it was going to be that late, yet they lied saying that it was on time, forcing you to come to the airport early, then when you get to the airport they did the - oh its going to be 20 minutes late, no 40, no 1.5 hours late, heck it will be 2 hours late etc. Micro-tight seat pitch - I could barely sit in the seats."
Ulemper: "The business class seats which are a lot more costly than economy seats are no different than economy seats. Same seat and on a 5 hour flight they are awful. The only difference from economy is that the middle seat is left empty....a help toward comfort, but far short especially when the price difference is factored in."

Fordele: "I LOVED the Crew. Exceptional! Polite, accommodating, kind, friendly. Just wonderful. The food was pretty good too! The entertainment was great. I loved that the toilets were in a separate area downstairs! The flight was overall pretty comfortable. The cabin temperature was also great, not the freezing temperature found on American planes. Thank you LUFTHANSA!!!"
Ulemper: "The flight was late boarding and late arriving in Munich. I had a connecting flight to make and that was a harrowing experience. I had no precedence offers the other passengers in deplaning. I was given no help in making my connecting flight. I had to queue up for border control. I had to go up and down numerous escalators. I was stopped by a policeman asking for papers which I had already given to border control. I had to take a train and change terminals. My connecting flight was departing from the farthest gate possible in the terminal. I was running the entire time, and I barely made it. Had I not been running, I would have missed my connection."
Fordele: "Lufthansa service is always incredible. Food is better than most other carriers and so is entertainment. Had a delay due to incoming flights, but staff made sure we had plenty of water and snacks while on the tarmac."

Ulemper: "I got 2 vegetarian meals on this flight. The first one was so mushy that it induced my gag reflex. I managed one bite and no more. The second meal had some ravioli that was much better but still was heated unevenly. But at that point I was so hungry that I ate it anyway. The boarding was chaotic because all economy rows boarded at the same time"

Ulemper: "Economy plus seats were a disappointment. Instead if the bottom cushion sliding out as with the Boeing 777, the seats recline too much. Uncomfortable getting in and out of our seats. Also, there are not enough restrooms. Lines of 5-7 people were common. I will not fly the A380 again."

Ulemper: "Once again - the connecting flights through Frankfurt are difficult because of the size of the airport and the location of the gates. Make certain there is enough time between flights to get to new gate. Use extra time to purchase some of the excellent food items"
Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Ulemper: "I paid almost $400 for upgraded seats. When I got to the airport-- no seats-- both ways!! i didn't even have regular seat assignments. I had to choose from the last few seats available. The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Fordele: "Overall, my trip to Cardiff via Amsterdam was smooth and delightful. I've flown a few short trips this summer and I was pleasantly surprised to find KLM still offered complimentary snacks. What a refreshing change!"

So it's one thing that you have to cancel the flight because of fog; but rebooking us the next day on a flight through New York that doesn't exist, was way below the standard of care I would expect from any airline. Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."

Fordele: "I've never been on a flight with such narrow seat and thin cushion. There was no entertainment offered for the almost 4 hour flight. There was no means of charging any electronic gears. The airplane seems to be 30 years behind time. Crew was unfriendly and smiling faces are not part of the uniform."

The gate staff and flight crew identified him and allowed us special bordering that facilitated the process. That act of kindness is a rare experience on our part. Thank you Air France staff!"

Ulemper: "It is very difficult to get around CDG airport with a disabled person. There is no shuttle. By the time we got to check in, we were ten minutes late. They would not check us in, and we paid over $700 to change tickets to the next flight. When I complained, I was told to stop being rude or I would get no ticket at all. My mother is 94 years old and we did the best we could given the circumstance."

Ulemper: "Plane was canceled at the last minute with a transfer desk literally assaulted by 100s of people. Only 3 persons on the desk. No lane for sky priority. Queued for nearly two hours before some airport employee gave us instructions to travel by train without any other information or tickets etc. Had to buy my ticket. Couldn’t recuperate my suitcase. Had to wait for it the next day for three hours. Up to this hour I don’t know how I am going to be reimbursed (train and plane)."

Ulemper: "The seats for a 5-hour flight couldn’t recline. The plane was freezing, there was no entertainment on the flight, and the seating wasn’t evenly distributed. There were many economy rows with only one person, then rows right next to that full with three people. The food wasn’t good either."

Ulemper: "Cabin crew were far from welcoming when dealing with the African passengers (including me though I'm Spanish) the food was a disgrace On a 5 hour flight to Accra there was no entrainment, the chairs were incredibly uncomfortable and you could not even charge your devices... The food arrive way too early. I believe the airline has put less of an effort on these planes due to the nature of the passengers... I have been traveling for 20 years and I never felt so disappointed by an airline... I will not use this airline ever again"

I was in flights from sap paulo <-> Madrid, the last one 11/15/21, That takes around 10:30 hour. Can you imagine that is served only a POOR meal after one hour of flight and nothing more??? We don’t have any service (besides in the morning a payed kart) or crew working in anything more than masks control. You need to pay for water / coffee is reasonable ? Even if you consider as low cost flights that you payed around U$ 700, courtesy and education should be showed by crew, things that Air Europe should learn to their employees on the airplane, a very rude people!!! It was not with me, but a complain for a lot people around. I have never been treated Like this before. Air Europa your journey will be short walking in this road. I, a constant traveler, will never more flight with you. I don’t need this kind of services!

Fordele: "Air Europa's fare was cheap, but not as cheap as Latam but I was traveling with a friend who had already bought his ticket. The 5 hr flight from Tel Aviv to Madrid was in a super aircraft. Extremely comfortable flight."
Ulemper: "The flight to São Paulo was in an older aircraft, more cramped and no personal entertainment consuls. All in all the flight was fine being an overnight flight, but I would have expected the better aircraft on the long haul flight and the less comfortable aircraft on the short haul. Still good value for money and I'm would definitely fly Air Europa again!"

Ulemper: "I'm curious with Air Europa for not thoroughly detailing me at the time of booking about the extraneous and very unreasonable check-in baggage fee for €60!! For checkin in 1 bag at the counter! The website was deceptive in its wording with 1 baggag is free and the rest has a fee. Therefore, i understood that i didn't have to purchase a check in luggage fee. That right there is living expense that I depended on for my trip. Thanks Air Europa! The check-in agent and another Air Europa representative at the Madrid airport did little to anull my fee that I felt mislead about. That was terrible customer service! I tried to give my flight a chance, but the touch down landing was probably one of the worst jolted sloppy touchdowns I've experienced. I looked around to see other's surprised reaction. I don't know of how Air Europa stocks or current state of economy are; but after dropping €60 for 1 checked in luggage, I'd expect a free beverage or light snack provided. Even the hot tea was €2.50. Im not happy and warning other's not to use this airline."

Ulemper: "The boarding process in Europe isn't the same as in the United States. Handicap and small children are usually boarded first and routes are called in groups. In Europe all the passengers make a line and wait to board a plane. We stood in line for an hour! I only stood in lime because we have a toddler, stroller, Diaper bag, carry on, etc. Air Europa only requested that small children board the plane first on one of our flights. We flew on 3 fpr their planes this vacation."

Ulemper: "It was a prop job, ground entrance and, because some passengers were delayed, we were 25 minutes late taking off. Problem was, as it wasn't close to the terminal, there was no AC and it got REALLY warm on board."

Ulemper: "Pasangers were not able to use properly the enterteiment center for more than 30 minutes before landing . we could not use the headphones either for a very long time after taking off. The crew said it will interfiere with the process of reaching the 36,000 feet, "altura de crucero". The answer was not convincing."
Fordele: "11 hours flight with no movies. Flight attendants very rude. Bad food. Seats doesn't stay where you want them to stay. They move by itself. Very disorganized embarkation, landing and takeout procedures. I had 3 delayed flights. Very bad experience. I don't recommend at all. Dirty cabin. I found someone else's hair when I opened the pillow."

Ulemper: "When I booked my flight it was not at all clear that I had to pay for checked luggage, therefore I had to pay extra when I arrived at the airport. Please make it clear from the very beginning that checked luggage is not included. Easy Jet does a great job of this, giving you the option to pay for a checked bag when buying your ticket. With Air Europa, I had no idea at all."

Flight ended up being cancelled. Shuttle busses to hotel, which was a a full hour away took us hours to get to. Arrived at hotel at 5 am! Return was said to be at 10am but wasn't until noon for what they told us would be a 3 pm flight. Ongoing lies. Flight didnt leave until 10:30 pm and then there was a 45 min delay on the plane. Plus lots of waiting in lines all day. It was horrible. Missed a full 24hrs in madrid. Hope to get some money back as compensation."
