Kina har suspenderet indrejse for alle direkte fly fra Storbritannien. Udenlandske statsborgere med opholdstilladelse med henblik på arbejde, personlige anliggender og genforening kan vende tilbage til Kina. Indehavere af en udløbet opholdstilladelse kan ansøge om en ny. Fordele: "I flew in economy. 9+ hours from ORD to HEL. The seat was average size. We were provided with a pillow, blanket and headphones. I did not use the in-flight entertainment, which was on an LCD screen. It was warm, so i didn't use the blanket. I also brought a neck-pillow, which is vital on overnight flights. They served a full dinner shortly after takeoff: I had meat lasagna which wasn't that bad, along with corn, a roll w/ butter, two saltine crackers with decent cheese and a chocolate pudding. Upon waking, I ate the breakfast, which was scrambled eggs and two sausages and a roasted tomato, a roll with butter, fruit cup and orange juice, coffee on the side. All pretty good, it was nice to have a meal before deplaning in Helsinki and waiting to get through passport control. Attendants on this flight were quite friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. No problems with luggage. All in all, a real bargain price, and I got more than I bargained for."

Only food service was on-board bistro, which sadly I slept through because I was exhausted from getting absolutely no sleep on their crummy transatlantic flight... There are no 'zeroes' to give, so can only give a 1 star poor rating on food, entertainment and comfort. Crew, again, tried in the face of a crummy airline."

Ulemper: "Let me start out by saying this was my first transcontinental, longer than 2hour flight...I am extremely upset that I paid the extra money to choose my seat and when booking I chose that I wanted a window seat, well I ended up smack in the middle of the plane with a person on each side of me so I wasn't even able to sleep the entire 7 hour 9p-9am flight. Also when I attempted to check in 24hours prior in order to make sure I got a seat id be happy with it said that it wasn't available for my flight so I couldn't check in and I couldn't chose a seat but regardless I still should've gotten the seat I wanted bc of my preferences at booking. Don't pay the extra to ensure your seat it's a total rip off"

Ulemper: "Didn't appreciate the additional charge to select basic seats (not upgraded), not sure if justfly.com is affiliated with Kayak. I found it absurd but read reviews that if you don't select seats you might get bumped off your flight if it's oversold. I didn't take any chances so I paid the additional $29 and yet both my fiancee and I sat way apart. Arriving at the airport to check in, I saw options to select seats which made me upset even though there was nothing next to each other but way more options than online."

Ulemper: "Trying to get through airport security was an unorganized clown show with them herding groups of passengers back and forth between airport terminals resulting in many people almost missing their flights because the lines just weren't moving. Once on the airplane, the international flight had TVs in the ceiling in the row playing one in-flight movie (what is this 1995?). American is such a terrible airline. The old US airways, Lufthansa, and British Airways, are way better international flights every time I've flown with them. Personal entertainment at your seat for each flight (i thought this was standard on all international flights in the past like 10 years) and more food and drinks throughout the flight."

Also, entertainment system was tiny (4" screen) and colors were washed out with brightness/contrast so bad, you couldn't see anything at all. Seats were cramped-I took an Emirates flight from London to Bangalore-what a world of difference!!!! Never flying BA again, that's for sure."

Ulemper: "1 hr delay in departure from Lusaka. Plastic cutlery was difficult to eat with. More frequent water/drinks during the flight (or water bottles instead of little cups) would have been appreciated. Movie options were not as great as other airlines."

Ulemper: "Every single flight (4 total) took off late and even caused us to miss a connection. On the way to Madrid from Entebbe, my luggage was mislabeled and sent to London and now is completely lost. It has been two days of a trip of having no clothes, shoes, or toiletries other than what I had on my person. And I have yet to hear from anyone with Ethiopian Airlines, only representatives from Madrid airport."
Ulemper: "The flight was delayed for hours in Delhi with no notice, making us spent the night at the airport. The flight was supposed to get to Abidjan around noon, but because of the delay, we missed the connection and the next available flight was the next day which would mean I missed my next flight and a work conference. In Delhi, the Ethiopian Airlines people assured me that it could be worked out in Addis, and that they could change my final destination to get me where I needed to go. However, in Addis, the employees were rude and did not even read the email that the Delhi people sent them. They would not do anything except send me to Abidjan the following day, which was useless since I already had to be in the US by then. The level of service is incredibly poor and disorganized, with many people having to wait for hours to even talk to someone and no information about what needs to be done. In the end, i had to purchase a new ticket to get to my destination. Had I known this was the case in Delhi, and that i would have to purchase a new ticket, I would have done so in Delhi rather than waiting all night and going to Addis. I fly very often and this is both the worse experience and service I’ve ever experienced on a flight, and they weren’t even able to get me to my destination."

Most of the people getting on this flight had a short layover time. Escape ially with the previous flight being late."
Fordele: "The staff where so dedicated. The food was very real and crunchy. Go for the beef instead of chicken. I had both. Was a ten hr flight."
Ulemper: "The fact that they write your card details carelessly on a pierce of paper when making an inflight purchase. Should be swipe and all done. No need writing those sensitive data down."
Ulemper: "I sent them an email about an issue with my flight but they didn't get back to me"

Fordele: "When I originally booked this trip it was with one connection and a 16 hour commute time. They added legs to my trip which significantly increased travel time. I tried to cancel my flight because I booked the flight with the necessity of arriving by specific days and times and they insisted on charging me for it so I just forfeited my seat and trip all together. There's nothing good to say about Ethiopian airlines."

Ulemper: "The airline never gave us any status updates.Call center was helpless. Eventually bought a same day ticket at 5X the price on another airlines get out. before visa expired. Now they don't want to refund my ticket saying I am a no show..What a horrible airline"

Fordele: "Flying direct from LA to Europe is a challenge. My other flight got cancelled the day of from another airline but i found this flight 12 hours later direct to Ireland for very cheap. Nice staff and amenities. Socks headphones and plenty of LEG ROOM in economy class. Would fly again"

Ulemper: "The movie selected for the flight was not my preferred genre. Maybe a family film would be better."
Ulemper: "Hi, I have asked 3 members of the crew to get me a glass of water from the time I boarded the flight. It took 45 minutes for them to hand me a glass of water. I have to wait till they all got settled. Only when them to start the service they were able to give me some water. I was really thirsty otherwise, I wouldn't have to ask for three members. I think it's important that they respond more promptly and do a quick service considering the long flight we have."

Ulemper: "AirChina did not offer us a plane for almost 3 days, so we stayed in a hotel in Beijing with minimal staff help for the entire period."
Fordele: "At least they told us before I left for the airport"
Ulemper: "Had to take the train."
Ulemper: "To other folks with asthmatic kids, a little word of caution re the air inside (repeat, inside) the BCIA terminal that Air China uses for its Beijing layovers. We could taste the outside air pollution's volatile solvents within the terminal, pretty bad near the gate. Our kid was using the Ventolin rescue inhaler every 10 min on the way over. That was an evening. On the way back we had taken the precaution of instituting a short-term oral prednisone course before (half to one mg/kg/day for two-three days beforehand, max fifty mg a day) and things went fine. The air seemed a lot better anyway, and it was early morning, fso probably more that than our precautions. Net, net, given the always present risks of very serious air pollution in Beijing, I'd suggest visitors with asthma take appropriate medical precautions before and during layovers there."
Ulemper: "My girlfriend's name was messed up on the boarding pass. This caused us so many troubles with the security. On the confirmation email, the name was correct, but when we arrived at the airport, the name printed on the boarding pass was not like the confirmation email we got. We tried to call back to price line, no answer, bs automatic machine. Not fun at all"
Ulemper: "There is an one hour delay for both of my round trips with Air China. And the entertainment was very out of date! No bottled water was offered and I had to ask for cups of water again and again."
Fordele: "Boarding was rather late but pretty prompt. However, we waited on the plane for about an hour before taking off. Also waited for 40 minutes to pick up the luggage."
