Secondly, the food was not at all upto the mark. If you are serving sandwich atleast make it flavorful or just serve drinks on this short flight with nuts/biscuits/chocolate."

Ulemper: "luggage did not make connecting flight from dubai to jfk, inspite of pilot telling us 1 hour or so delay was waiting for luggage. at jfk was told can get same night if want to. this proved futile . spent hours at JFk waiting and talking to Emirates. spoke with multiple agents including Luz, sarah, etc. finally around 12 midnight was told customs would not release till next day. but promised to get it to us by 12noon next day (flying to wyoming next day at 330 pm) . this did not happen. again multiple phone calls and promises , failed. Kiamaria even got text of address in WY where 2 suitcases should have gone. All 4 suitcases were sent to NJ and arrived at 9pm. more phone calls. this time Rachel helped with fedex labels unfortunately more problems as fedex said no barcode and we had to go to fedex office and finally they took care of it so many hours wasted, not to mention the anxiety and frustratioon How are you going to reimburse all this ????"
Ulemper: "Noise of serving some people dinner in middle of night interfered with sleep. Deep dip South meant no internet for much of the flight lots of noise and inconvenience trying to fix Tvnz for (rude) lady in front"

Between Chennai to Dubai ,Flight experience was not good, Seating and entertainment in particular was not good , it was too cramped and too much glare on the TV screen, probably because i had a window seat."

Also, I understand the food isn't from a 5 star restaurant but the lamb I ate was over cooked and felt very rubbery. As the crew members went around aking if you want Tea or Coffee, I said I wanted coffee. The coffee was cold so I couldn't even drink it, i know I can ask for another one but I felt so disappointed that I'd rather have nothing. My monitor had lots of weird lines on them as the colors were so off on some areas and good on other areas."

Fordele: "The service crew was perfect. Check on me through out the flight to ensure that I was comfortable. When meals came around and I was sleeping they check to ensure i did not miss a meal. 5 stars for the crew of Emirates flight 220."

Ulemper: "Flight from Copanhagen to Istanbul was delayed for an hour...computer malfunction was the reason. I was a little bit stressed because I had a connecting flight to Manila, was afraid i wouldn't make it. And also, no gate assignment yet for Istanbul to Manila. Since it was my first time to travel via Turkish Airline, not familiar with Istanbul airport."

Ulemper: "Trip from ZAG to IAH Business Class. At ZAG they told me it was fine to take my skateboard onboard. At the Istanbul layover they forced me to pay $160 or else my items wouldn't make it on board. With a business class I still had to pay extra for a carry-on they said it was okay but then they changed their tune. I get it's in a different location but the same company is telling me two different things that ended up costing $160. On top of that, when I finally arrived at IAH they didn't have my skateboards... so I paid $160 for them to lose my boards."

Ulemper: "In Business Class, the seats did not recline all the way to become flat. Other airlines (including Qatar and Etihad) have seats which become flatbeds even in 3 hour long flights. Very disappointed that Turkish does not have that options from IST to ISB. The boarding experience from IAD-IST was excellent...but it was the opposite from IST-ISB."

Ulemper: "They took over 6 hours to decide if the missed and overbooked flight would be free or an additional $1000 (which they originally demanded). Spent over 30 hours in the airport with no help from the airline - NEVER AGAIN"
Ulemper: "They cancelled my returning flight WITHOUT me knowing and expecting me to pay for the penalty fee for misisng the first flight even tho I DID not cancel the returning flight which obviously I was gonna take. The staff was RUDE and INSENSITIVE. Qatar was better in overall customer service. Worst customer service from Turkish airline."

They didn't check IDs which became evident when a passenger complained his passport was missing and the plane had to return to the gate so he could go back into the airport to find his passport. Had it been checked before getting on the plane we could have spared everyone the hour delay. really this was is the worst service ever. Avoid."

TK airport (ground) staff that talked to us was antipathetic and it took ages to get any service. Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Just kept saying we need to wait."

Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."
Fordele: "The crew from Kili to DarEsSalam was tired. A fresh crew worked from DarEsSalam to AMS and they were great."
Ulemper: "The boarding process was chaotic. The passengers in the first boarding group had to fight through the crowd because there were no boarding lanes."

My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"
Fordele: "The aircraft felt clean and quite spacious (decent legroom). Cabin crew was friendly and everything went as expected. Bonus points for the Beemster cheese sandwich (I was totally disappointed when they served the food, but more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cheese - I even bought some afterwards, from the Albert Heijn just outside the security area)."
Ulemper: "Very odd queue separation at boarding. Passengers were divided in 5 lanes, depending on their seating area withing the plane (for a more efficient boarding, I presume) but, by the time we all got to the actual aircraft, we formed another queue in the boarding bridge so it didn't feel like any time was saved or anything."
Ulemper: "... ear plugs, masks, good food or even picking seats? I remember when it was all complementary and standard on overnight flights. Oh, and the vegetarian breakfast was unfortunately poor as well. I know you can do better, because you used to."

I could not store my belongings near me. No power outlet to charge my devices for my own entertainment on a 7 hour flight. Dealing with constant traffic for the bathroom. I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

Ulemper: "The leg room on the long flight was less than I would have wished and it was particularly bad when the person in front put their seat back. this was a day time flight and it would have been good to have a bit more room to use a laptop."

"My flight out from SFO was cancelled. No one contacted me with the result I had to spend 3h extra waiting for the next flight. On the return I had booked for a 10:45 am departure. My itinerary said BOTH 10:45 and 07:20. I finally got an agent who said the flight was for 07:20. The movies did not work in my seat. I changed to another seat where the sound only came out from the right speaker. Pretty poor when you spend the money to fly business."

Connecting flights missed. I reached my final destination by a delay of 24 hrs. Luggage came after 3 days. No wheel chair provided at LHR. I have been suffering from Back pain since several years, underwent surgery. I had to walk a larger distance at LHR to hotel and back to to catch flight. Very horrible journey I had ever experienced."
