Fordele: "Everything about my flights on Virgin Atlantic was amazing. The plane was new and comfortable, the seats seemed to recline more than in other airplane I have been. The entertainment was good with a wide selection of movies and TV shows. The crew was incredibly nice and helpful and I had a really pleasant time talking with them. On the airport team side I can also say they were extremely helpful as I missed my flight and they promptly rebooked me on the next one 3h later, free of charge. I think the stress of missing a flight was completely deflected by the help of the Virgin Atlantic crew at the desk so thank you for that!"
Ulemper: "The only thing I would improve is the main dish in the meal. I loved all the small sides like the Boursin and crackers but I found the main meal a little bland l."

Upgraded seats were laughable and not worth an extra $60. Food was mediocre. Entertainment would have been good but GE touchscreens are so old, they were difficult to work."

Fordele: "The flight crew from the mel to lax route were excellent. One was especially attentive to my 2 toddlers and gave me a bit of a break, something that has NEVER happened in over 40 flights traveling with children."
Ulemper: "I think something was broken in our section (mel to lax) as it was uncomfortably hot and the flight crew tried to get it cooler but could not. I’ve never experienced a flight that was too hot, usually the opposite. It was stifling."

Ulemper: "I always think Virgin's meals are the WORST among those of all the airlines I use. PLEASE LET THE VIRGIN COMPANY KNOW THIS FACT. The touch screen of the DVD player did not work well so it was a frustrating experience."

Fordele: "Everything from boarding to disembarking went very smoothly. Flight was on time, seats were comfortable and crew was friendly and accommodating."

Ulemper: "I never understood how to connect the earphones to the screen so I couldn't ser any movie. But - I could have asked the staff of course ..."

Ulemper: "The regular seats were so lacking in leg room that I could not cross my legs, reach the floor to get my glasses when I dropped them, or even get my carry-on out. There is no way to get into the "brace for impact position" with arms over your head and head in your lap! This is really unsafe, not to mention really uncomfortable. The flight was long, so comfort would be nice! Our first flight was regular seats and I was pretty miserable and I am a slender woman 5'6". The extra 3" was great, and we had to pay more on the return trip. The FAA should be investigating seat size and safety on planes."

Ulemper: "My economy window seat was just too cramped for a big guy on a nine hour flight"

Fordele: "The movie selections and comfortable headsets made it possible to watch three movies uninterrupted. The food selections were well prepared. Flight attendants were helpful and efficient."
Ulemper: "Boarding is always a bit of chaos when our seats are right in the back. People further up insist on boarding early and block the aisles in the process. Multiple levels of passport control and baggage checkout are chaotic, but that's for most all flights coming into USA? VIrgin/Delta handled it well enough. By the time we got through passport control in Boston ur bags were waiting and we had no problems at all."

Fordele: "first time I flew VirginAtlantic. Heard so many good things about it. It fact even our Uber driver was praising the airline on our way to the airport. But once onboard: - poor food (I mean 'survival kit' style) - entertainment station was not working - games feel like 20 years old - design (heavy red) now looks dated and suffocating - hostesses are more focused on their hairstyle than their customers"

Ulemper: "The entre food top was torn, apparently opened before I got it, also there was no salad dressing. ATTN RICHARD BRANSON: Are you concerned for our environment? The head stewardess would not refill my sports water bottle after I asked her nicely, instead she poured water into a cup which she threw away, wasting plastic unnecessarily. I told her I did not like wasting plastic and she appeared to not enjoy what I had to say. This was the same lady who handed me my dinner. Rest of crew was great."

Fordele: "From check in to landing in London, the gracious, helpful crew impressed us with their attitude and service"

Ulemper: "Dislike the recent removal of onboard snacks. It's a very long flight. Nuts or chips or cheese and crackers would be very helpful. Had no idea this service was discontinued until way into the flight. Not sure why it was stopped. Btw I don't believe this was a Virgin Atlantic flight, I believe it was Virgin AUSTRALIA. Think you have names backwards on survey."

Fordele: "ear plugs, eye mask, pillow and blanket provided. fruit, water and juice available without asking someone for it. adequate leg room, good movie selection and 2 meals with wine provided."

Ulemper: "BYOjet cancelled my flight"

Fordele: "Superior comfort, class, and style. The crew was friendly and accommodating, the pilots kept you up to date with flight info and departure/arrival time (and kept the seat belt light off almost the entire trip), the food was delicious and offered throughout, and the entertainment was top notch. Seats were comfortable (we had bulkhead row Space+ and they were worth every cent for the international long haul from LAX-BNE and SYD-LAX) and everyone got a pillow/blanket. We got premium noise-canceling headsets, water, and a little care kit including an eye mask and earplugs and a pen to fill out your travel documents. The overhead bin space was huge and we got two free checked bags of luggage up to 50lbs each (I don't know of that's standard or not, or if it came with Space+ seats). SERIOUSLY the best airline."
Ulemper: "Absolutely nothing. For a long haul flight, Virgin Australia is TOP NOTCH!"

Fordele: "Dont whish to comment unless a human being can contact me and help me get the $200 travel voucher I was promised. It was so stressful its the least that can be done"

Ulemper: "There was no food served at all! Just a plastic water container for the entire flight. Could’ve served a snack or two like JetBlue does in USA"

Ulemper: "Crew was little bit rude. They didn’t help me to find the spot for my carry on luggage."

Ulemper: "Transferring from an international flight to a domestic flight was difficult. This flight was a joint flight between Turkish airlines and China Southern, there should have been someone from China Southern to help us transfer when we landed. I asked the crew at the plane whether someone will help us transfer and they said yes, but there was none. At the very least, how to transfer to domestic flights has to be part of the customs video. Finding where to go was difficult for someone that does not know Chinese."

Fordele: "Short, sweet, and yummy! Short trip, sweet experience with their staff and boarding process, and yummy snacks."

Fordele: "The flight attendants were friendly, attentive and efficient."
Ulemper: "Many flights were grounded for several hours because of some airline operational glitch. We were provided with no information or guidance about how to resume our travels. As we tried to sort ourselves out we were sent from lineup to lineup without much progress or friendly service."

Ulemper: "As close as an hour to takeoff, we had not received any confirmation from the gate that we would be boarding there. Upon asking the gate attendant at our supposed depature gate if if was indeed the gate depating for Kabul, she "had no idea." To begin boarding, people just randomly started lining up without any formal announcement ever occuring."

Ulemper: "My seat was broken. Entertainment system was non responsige and expressly slow. Couldn’t hear anything from the earphones."

Fordele: "Attractive business class fares. Among the best business class."
Ulemper: "Don't underestimate the additional hours. The stopover in Istanbul is definitely a negative (crowded, unpractical airport). Next time I will probably stick to European airlines, if the fare difference is reasonable."

Ulemper: "The temperature on board was extremely hot! Add this to body odor and you get a terrible flight."

Ulemper: "wasnt able to print my boarding pass while checking in online. being able to do so would have helped a lot if i didnt have to check-in at the counter as the flight was at 5am. i could have just got in and spent the night at a lounge."

Ulemper: "Flight from Copanhagen to Istanbul was delayed for an hour...computer malfunction was the reason. I was a little bit stressed because I had a connecting flight to Manila, was afraid i wouldn't make it. And also, no gate assignment yet for Istanbul to Manila. Since it was my first time to travel via Turkish Airline, not familiar with Istanbul airport."

Ulemper: "I was sitting next to toddlers, who were crying and hyper. I think they should assign special section for parents with kids under 5. Felt sick after dinner with aubergine rice and mince meat. Food was not optimum quality. Crew was good but some could smile some more! Seats were stained and old, but reasonably comfy."

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed over two hours causing great stress and worry about missing our next flight, which we did. As there were many of us on the neit flight also I wonder if any effort was made to hold that flight for us."

Fordele: "Turkish Airlines er normalt, som samlet pakke min favorit, men når indtjekning vælger at sætte 2 voksne mænd på sæder ved nødudgangen der kun er ca. 75% i størrelse af normle (små) sæder, så er 3½ time til Istanbul en lang sammenklemt oplevelse."

Ulemper: "Ground staff very unhelpful and arrogant. Wanted to upgrade to business class and the representative who served me was very rude and unhelpful. Boarding was through buses which was inefficient and messy. My trip was 11 hours of flying time. Economy seating is super tight and legroom awful. For long haul flights they must be more generous in terms of seat size and legroom."

Ulemper: "Management of time excellent. Plane went on time. Staff on checking in or in the plane were polite, pleasant, professional and available. Timing of delivery of luggage also was fast."

Ulemper: "We had to spend the night in Istanbul and get only on the next flight the following morning. TK airport (ground) staff that talked to us was antipathetic and it took ages to get any service. Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Just kept saying we need to wait."

Ulemper: "Overcrowded boarding place No special car for business class passengers Bags not delivered at arrival for me as a business class passenger and absolutely no information provided by Turkish. This is just to show that the marketing approach for flights decided to Africans is not a priority"

Fordele: "We arrived safely and on time"
Ulemper: "The seat spacing on that flight was some of the tightest I have ever seen - worse than even most of the short-haul (Embraer) flights i have been on - barely manageable for 3.5 hours. Flight attendants were borderline rude and bossy, but they had to be, because the passengers were loud and unruly."

Fordele: "Having every single person I spoke with pass me on to another party. Apparently customer complaints is really no one's job. They're extremely motivated to have you find someone else to correct your problem. Rest assured it is "your problem" I was told quite explicitly that my missed connection flight and lost luggage was not their problem."
Ulemper: "They lost my luggage. Couldn't even tell me when my bag was checked despite the scan tag they attached to my boarding pass when they weighed it and checked it in back in New York. They legitimately had no idea if my bag ever left the United States. It took 3 days to locate my baggage while I was trying to celebrate my anniversary with my wife in Athens. being without your luggage for half a week in a foreign country is not even remotely fun. I had to wait around missing tours and reservations trying to find our luggage most of our first 48 hours in Greece. After giving up on getting our stuff we had to waste a chunk of time shopping to replace our clothing and toiletries. Despite having purchased the travel insurance I'm still fighting a month after our trip ended to be reimbursed for the clothes we had to buy just to begin our vacation. Again they continue to stonewall by transferring our complaint calls endlessly and forwarding our emails with "new" case numbers each time. Basically what this accomplishes is they can't ever find the case number they updated it to and insist that the prior case number is listed as resolved. Since they say it's resolved there is nothing anyone can do to help. Not sure if I'll ever get any satisfaction out of this debacle."

Ulemper: "Boarding at the Punta Cana airport was disorganized. People just got on whatever line they wanted and no attention was paid to whether passengers were first in line vs last in line, priority seating vs general, traveling with kids vs no kids, etc."

Ulemper: "Boarding was a disaster, people didn’t have seats which caused a delay in boarding. It was a mess. The seats were uncomfortable and too small. I know it’s a short flight but it was just too tight in there. The flight was delayed and the communication was all over; the time was constantly changin"

Ulemper: "Connecting flight from JFK to DCA was moved from approx 2:30p to nearly 8p, making our layover 7+ hours, as opposed to 1-2 hours. No reason for this change was provided. Delta crew member in JFK was rude and unhelpful. The second agent (who ultimately booked our standby tickets for our original connecting flight) was more pleasant."

Fordele: "In flight movie in back of head rest. The kids thought I was the bomb when I booked this flight."
Ulemper: "The bathroom was smaller than my seat!"

Fordele: "Although we ended up being stuck on the plane for 2 hours prior to take off due to high volume, weather and as the pilot put it, "possible military activity" the crew kept us informed every step of the way. There was one flight attendant in particular who was so full of energy and made the unfortunate circumstances not so bad. She entertained us and kept us in the loop the entire time as did the pilots. It made the 2 hours not feel so bad which was appreciated."
Ulemper: "That we were delayed on the plane for two hours on a small plane but I know it was out of their control."

Ulemper: "Small overhead bins. No entertainment facilities on the seats. Although I wasn't expecting a movie for an hour-and-a-half flight, at least the airplane should have amenities to provide music so that passengers bringing their own headphones can listen to some music."

Fordele: "Flight crew is helpful. We travelled with my 82 year old mother who needed some assistance, especially for our short connection times, and they made sure she and our whole group made it to the connections on time."
Ulemper: "My husband is 6’ 4” tall so the seats on the CRJ-700 are a tight fit for him. Had some trouble with boarding passes not loading on the app and couldn’t select seats until we got to the gate."

Ulemper: "Delta does not transfer your luggage in Canada even if they say they do. It will not make it to your final destination"

Fordele: "Food was good and so was the movie selection"
Ulemper: "Boarding was slow and the interviewers were disrespectful. Also I was upgraded last minute and I could never understand the system by which upgrades to first class are granted. Just because I used my points to buy the flight I wasn’t eligible for an upgrade to the one seat left in first class even though the flight is full and I am the first one on comfort+ upgrade list and there was no one on delta one upgrade list."

Ulemper: "The flight attendants weee rude, and no bar service"

Fordele: "The Delta team was very kind and accommodating to me and my baby and did all they could to make it easier for me."
Ulemper: "Baggage drop- the line was longer for that than the security clearance! Perhaps have people pay at the kiosk for their baggage so the line moves more quickly."

Fordele: "ATL based crew was great. Exit row extra room as promised"
Ulemper: "Cheese snack purchased was not up to par. Grapes soft, almonds mealy and cheese dried out. Disappointing. New faster Wi-Fi was intermittent at best. Down for long stretches."

Fordele: "After flight was cancelled, rebooking was easy and quick on the app."
Ulemper: "Flight was cancelled. flight attendants were grumpy. One of the tightest seats I've flown in economy. No room in overheads so I had to stuff my winter coat between my legs with my backpack under the seat in front of me. Was basically wedged into the seat with my stuff."

Fordele: "it was easy to navigate ."

Ulemper: "The flight left three hours late while the crew was waiting for an oxygen tank to arrive. We were boarded onto the plane after it was nearly an hour and a half late, then waited in out cramped seats for another hour and a half as we continued to wait for the same piece of equipment. At one point a Delta employee announced over the plane's PA system that we'd be getting vouchers to compensate us for this absurd delay, but there was no explanation of how to claim those vouchers."

Ulemper: "I was seated in first class, and due to some catering mix-up, no meal was served. I was given a banana and crackers which was very disappointing since I hadn't eaten in 8 hours and was starving. No on board entertainment whatsoever."

Ulemper: "Very uncomfortable seats Oddly shaped overhead bins, unable to put standard sized bags overhead, meanwhile they fit in planes of other major airline companies such as American Airlines. No food options, only sweet biscuit which contains soy and milk."

Fordele: "Flight was on time"
Ulemper: "Wifi wasn't working for a while and it was a plane without screens"

Fordele: "A simple and pleasant experience!"
Ulemper: "Everyone was professional and polite."

Ulemper: "The flight was delay for 3 hours and they only give us chips and water. They didn't explain well what was the problem. The plane was dirty inside and the seats werent comfortable at all, the plane was making weird noises. There is no window in the 11A Window Seat. Really really bad service at all."

Fordele: "Plane was clean, attendants were friendly, and food was fine."
Ulemper: "I had a flight from Detroit to Montreal. Tried to check in and DTW was not a choice on the westjet website and so I physically could not check in. I realized the flight was technically operated not by WestJet, but Gojet. Went to Gojet's website and was told that Delta took care of all of their ticketing and such. Went to Delta's website, entered my ticket number and card number but I was not in the system as I was given all WestJet info (not Delta's). Luckily the baggage check in people figured it all out."

Fordele: "Clean plan and efficient boarding procedure."
Ulemper: "Horrible delay. Took off almost two hours post originally scheduled time."

Fordele: "Nothing"
Ulemper: "I could not check in on the kiosk and I had to go to two agents before they could find my reservation. The lines were extremely long and the customer service was poor."

Ulemper: "Flight was cancelled and travel delayed by 24 hours."

Ulemper: "Most everything was excellent, however my 2 year old daughter's in seat entertainment screen wasn't working. It was a full flight and there was no option to change seats. I brought it to the flight attendants attention however she wasn't able to reset it. A 7-hour flight from NY to Zurich travelling with small children without the movies was not as pleasant as it could have been."

Fordele: "flyturen i sig selv var fin men var forsinket."
Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Ulemper: "The only thing that would have been better was cooler air in the cabin. I got very hot on both my flights to and from Frankfurt."

Fordele: "Cristobal, the flight assistant, was lovely. He made my flight very pleasant."

Ulemper: "Stuck in Frankfurt due to weather which I understand but no one helped us navigate the customer service lines and it was utter chaos!!! I stood in line for four!!!! Hours and did not get checked on once then i found out I did that for no reason and i had to wait In another line for almost two hours!!! Then then next day my flight was delayed for four!!! Hours due to engine issues and they had to get a new plane so the rerouted two flights had To be canceled And I was stuck overnight again in Dallas. No one met me at the gate or had anything to say to me. Not really one ounce of customer service . I could tell it was Hard with the airport closing due to weather but this is an international flight and someone could have done something to help me just navigate the process over the three day period. One woman who I finally talked to in Frankfurt spent an hour with me when i was utterly exhausted and there were No more flights or hotels left She was To be commended. The rest was chaos and exhausting and I still have another flight tomorrow."

Fordele: "From Munich to Toronto, it was great, especially being seated where I wanted, the window. I was able to watch great movies too, and during a 9hr flight, thats really nice."
Ulemper: "The food could be better. Too salty. But it is better than nothing and it was hot! So that was good."

Ulemper: "It was a really rainy day and we all had to get on shuttles to get to our plane. Once we reached the plane, the crew should have facilitated an orderly boarding through both doors rather than one. This was also a pretty empty flight and other passengers were utilizing their assigned seat as well as a whole other row and calling it theirs just because they set something on one seat. It didn't seem right that some of us had to stay in our little crowded area while others used up 4 seats and I don't mean for laying down."

Fordele: "Efficiency...I sat three rows behind the crying babies...but with ear phones...had a pleasant flight"
Ulemper: "Once again - the connecting flights through Frankfurt are difficult because of the size of the airport and the location of the gates. Make certain there is enough time between flights to get to new gate. Use extra time to purchase some of the excellent food items"

Fordele: "We had a four hour delay and were promptly put in a hotel; Sheraton beds are very comfortable, I wish I had more than three hours to sleep."
Ulemper: "I never heard major announcements regarding the delay or the meal voucher (maybe not loud enough?). If they said it only once, they should've repeated it. It sounds stupid, but I waited for an hour at boarding before I realized the lineup is for meal vouchers and not the flight. Nobody approached or announced anything, I had to go and ask about changes and details."

Ulemper: "Space between seats and leg room. Very compact for an international flight."

Ulemper: "4 hrs delayed. Terrible. My niece is from germany and this is her first time ro the US. She is travelling by herseelf and no one is there to assist her. She speaks english sporadically. Air canada is a terivle airline. Always delay."

They lost 3 out of the 4 bags, but assured me all 3 were on the very next flight. The next flight came in but only 2 more had been put on that flight. Still waiting on 4th..."

Ulemper: "Inside the plane everything was great and the floght atendants were very nice, however in check in I was teated very poorly"

Fordele: "On time, best connection for me, earning miles on my program. I booked based on time and cost, didn't even pay attention to what airline."
Ulemper: "No food, plane felt pretty old and not so clean. Smaller seats than the other flights I had with Lufthansa. Otherwise, it was fine. I had a pretty bad earache on that particular flight, so I liked it less than I might have otherwise. Something didn't feel right, pressure wrong or something."

Fordele: "It was a total nightmare all Austrian flights they put us on were canceled !!! We did not leave Vienna for another 7 h a total nightmare all planes had technically difuculties !! Austrian airlines had total chaos !!!"

Fordele: "Fast disembark. Used both ends."
Ulemper: "No entertainment. Luckily, it was late or I would have missed it because my previous plane was so late."

Fordele: "Nothing, we never got to go on our flight to Vienna. The only good thing is the manager, Servando, found us an alternative route after some delay. Even then, we had to haggle and really fight for fair treatment for a mistake that was 100% the airline's fault."
Ulemper: "Our seats were involuntarily given away by the airport staff. We were never notified until we were scanning our tickets to board in. At that time, we had already checked in and received our boarding passes, as well as checking in 3 bags while we were traveling with a large group. There was no way we wanted to volunteer our seats, especially since we had a transfer flight to catch. We clearly stated we did NOT want to volunteer our seats at the ticket counter. No staff notified us until we were about to get on the plane to board. The flight supervisor was very rude and unprofessional, offering us no alternative solutions. I was really disappointed with such a grievous mistake by the airline, and I would not recommend flying Austrian Airlines unless it was absolutely the only airline available. They need to fix their processes for authorizing when they volunteer a passenger's seat. This caused our group a lot of stress and almost became a logistical nightmare."

Ulemper: "Our flight was cancelled .No explanation at all.Hotel was given to us.Thank you for that.We dear only 4 hours.The following day we were there since 5 in the morning and the first word was 10 o clock flight.After to many hours they decided that they can bring us to Mynih and after that flight to Tirana.So I left home Thursday 2 o clock and arrive in Tirana after 2 days. No luggage until yesterday.It never happen before.But in top of everything my plans in Albania were messed up.I have to pospne my return flight 1 week and the charges are unbelievable tooo much 650 dollars.I am not stopping here.Thank you."

This caused a big problem for me in the airport, where I: 1- Wasn't allowed to catch my flight ti Vinnea and this was both financial and time lost for me. 2- I was locked in Dussluff airport for more than 14 hours, I was threatened to be sent back to USA or any other country. This caused physiological damage for me, as I been treated like an animal 3- I was asked to pay for my new ticket ( Dussloff - Istanbul-Amman )"

Ulemper: "Staff at service desk -unprofessionalism, never on time. Charged 3 times for infant ticket because of computer errors but lack of human factor explaining why, just completely horrible explanations."

Ulemper: "The only thing I didn't like was that in one of the bathrooms, the sink was clogged up a little bit."

Fordele: "I was pleased by the comfort of the seats, the staff on board and the flight itself. The flight actually did not seem at all like 9 hours. And it arrived exactly on time."
Ulemper: "The crew at the airport before boarding was a little impolite. As people were getting ready to board and waiting in the line, they were told to go back to customer service to register passports and get new boarding passes, without prior announcement. That could have been avoided if they informed us."

Ulemper: "Delay of 1 hour on a flight of 1 hour during lunch time and neither a snack during the flight."

Fordele: "Flight was cancelled. Waited over two hours to be rebooked. Nothing was offer. Special meals was not available for a flight that is over 9 hours. No other food was available."

Fordele: "Flying on a direct flight was nice. The food was good. Ordinarily the snack lunch is not good but the sandwich was quite good."
Ulemper: "The boarding is best if done by rows but this was just every one trying to board at the same time so it has a more negative effect on passengers."

Ulemper: "At the gate the boarding processes was very slow because there was only a single person checking the passports and the boarding passes of all passengers. Surprisingly, this airline also could not provide a plastic bag for our checked in child seat, which is standard on other airlines."
