Before boarding, I asked at the gate if my new seat was a window--which is what I paid for--and they confirmed yes, my new seat was a window. Turns out, it was not, it was a middle seat. I asked a flight attendant to relocate me to a window seat, which she kindly did, however this seat was quite uncomfortable as I was seated next to a large gentleman who probably should have been required to purchase two seats. Overall, there were two issues with Qatar Airways during this trip: they did not give me the seat I had requested and paid for, and then lied when I asked if my new seat was a window."

It also took 3 hours because of UAE and Qatar :("

Ulemper: "Boarding in jfk is always a nightmare, and this was not any better. Huge crowds blocking the hallways, boarding started 15 minutes late, departed late - therefore arrived late and we missed the connection to Kiev, had to spend 8 hours in Doha."

Ulemper: "Had an 11hr delay overall, 3.5hrs sitting on the tarmac only to be told to disembark for dinner at the airport. Then told that we won't be getting on until 7am the next day, but only really started boarding at 8:30am. By the time we were told about the reschedule to the next morning, it was too late to get a hotel room (too far away) and was told that I could use a 'Quiet Lounge' at the airport (which wasn't quiet). While waiting to board at 7am the next day, ground staff told us that they had to change the plane so there would be a further delay. On boarding, we discovered that it was the SAME PLANE."

Shortly before we landed at Manila, we were informed that in order to meet international flight rules and regulations that insecticide will be sprayed we were advised to cover our nose,as a medical personnel I see it not good cos it can trigger an Asthmatic attack in a known asthmatic patient ,it was a lovely journey"

Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Noticed same dramatic difference in passenger treatment between SFO and Frankfurt legs of the flight. They treat the mostly Indian customers differently. I go to India every year. It was same last year. My suitcase broken in transit. Reported. No call back after several days. I’m US citizen of German ancestry. I feel badly about lack of service for India bound passengers."

The seatrs were the most uncomfortable I have ever beeon on for a long flight. I also paid extra to be in the exit row, to have people constantly congregating in front of us."

Ulemper: "There are two types of foot-rests, both are a nuisance for people with long legs. The one popping up from below one's seat is extremely hard to put back in place. The metallic one folding down from under the seat in front cannot be secured back and is always in the way if the passenger needs to stretch his/her legs. This seems to be a new appliance, and I jut wish they would do away with it altogether. More is not necessarily better."

Fordele: "The gentleman at the check out his name was Omar went over and above the call of duty for Customer Service me being an American he walked me through each step of using flybe via air France and paying for checking my bags and even the carry on luggage and getting me through security etc."

The world is at the customer's fingertips, let their first choice be Delta. When their are bad days, customers will understand"

Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."

But when we tried to sleep, our fellow passengers came and stood at our feet and talked so loudly that we could not possibly sleep. They stayed there for more than an hour. Would have loved for the staff to maybe ask them to tone it down, if not move."

Ulemper: "The registration could open earlier than two (!) hours before the take-off! Or, at least have more than two representative registering economy class passengers (yes, there was a big and very slow line). The food could be better than just a McDonald's type apple pie."

The flight crew were friendly and professional. The food was delicious and sufficient. Overall very happy with my first flight in LOT."
Ulemper: "Knowing that the incoming was late ground crew could have been better prepared with a motorised transport in the airport (instead of me running out of my breadth). The onboard entertainment could have been better. WiFi in plane would be nice. But these are suggestions. I was overall very happy."

Ulemper: "The plane was late. First advice 30 minutes delay, but when it took off it was about an hour later. Due to this my luggage went missing and I had to run to catch the WAW-DEL flight and delay that flight also. The ground staff were unhelpful. There was no food. Flight crew were mixed bag."
Fordele: "Nothing because your partner FlightNetwork didnt pay the ticket and I wasted my time going to the airport"
Ulemper: "Calling me and leave a voicemail if there is an issue with the ticket. I dont respond to 888-*** phone numbers from overseas! Horrible experience"

Ulemper: "Boarding was late and disorganized. The entertainment system was out of date with only a limited selection of movies - no wifi, no tv series, no live tv, no podcasts, ..."

Ulemper: "WiFi please. Seats felt more crammed than other f airlines. LEAVE ON TIME (more than half their flights are delayed, it seems). Check-in desk people should be a bit more friendly, they weren’t rude but they made it obvious that they didn’t want to be there."

Ulemper: "Crammed seats. Flight delayed. Almost missed the connection flight. My luggage didn’t make it to the final destination. Luggage delivered to my hotel in 2 days. Noticed the bags have been opened (I put tapes around the bag, and the tapes were cut/altered). Some stuff were stolen. G.H.E.T.T.O."

Ulemper: "The food was the worst I have had in 12 years of EU-Asia flights. They missed two connections, causing over 11 hours of delay and arrived at a different airport. We had to spend 4 hours with visa procedures and rechecking luggage in Beijing without staff assistance. Deplorable."

Fordele: "I had no issues at all. Checkin was easy and friendly. I had payed for my checked bag online. Boarding was simple and LOT held the flight about 5 minutes so that some connecting passengers could make it. Service onboard was friendly and efficient."
Ulemper: "Honestly, everything was just fine. Security at Warsaw is a disaster and a nightmare so give yourself a good amount of time. It took 30+ minutes for me to clear and there were only 8 people ahead of me."

Ulemper: "We had a two and half hour delay on an evening flight on a Sunday from WAW to Paris. This was during the UNFCCC COP24 when there was extra heavy international traffic through Warsaw. It was not clear why the plane was delayed for so long. It meant in the end that we got to Paris after midnight when the RER train had stopped running and the airport was functionally closed. This meant instead of a train ticket, rather a 55 euro taxi to get home. This was an expensive delay."

Fordele: "Brand new plane, very smart albeit plasticy and clunky. Professional staff. Very helpful when I had a specific personal request at the booking office. Flight crew were not constantly trying to force us to buy things or making announcements every 5mins like some budget airlines I could name. Flight was 30mins early so no problems there."
Ulemper: "Warsaw Airport is terrible. Not enough seats in the departure longes. Not enough choice for shops. Not enough toilets for the volume of passengers."

Would have been nice with a hot towel for face and hands after a long semi-night flight (10hrs). Extremely cold. Everyone was freezing and coughing due to very, very cold cabin air. Very old entertainment system. Grainy blurry screens. No charging of devices via usb. The control was fixed to armrest and was accidentally pressed al the time while resting and arm on the armrest. Remote gate in LHR."

Ulemper: "We had a 2 hour delay on our flight from Heathrow to LAX. That being said it was during the most severe cold front to hit North America and counterparts flying with connections in some of the hardest hit town had delays of 24 hours or more."
