We stayed at this hotel for Oktoberfest 2010. It is a 10 minutes walk from Tram Bahn station, and then a 15 minutes ride to Munich city center. Our double room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast very good too. Internet worked fine. The only downside could be the location if you are walking( which we didn't mind), the hotel is located in a rural area and there is almost nothing between train stations and the place but it is secure, also city Bus stops right at front the Hotel every 20 minutes. In general it was a good experience.
Very clean and big room. Extremely big and good breakfast. Nice breakfast room with summer terrace. Very very friendly and pretty lady at reception! Thank you!
Front desk staff were very helpful. A very minor detail, but in Europe many hotels do not use screens on their windows.
Clean. Good breakfast - reasonably priced considering it was Octoberfest. Several very nice staff. I felt they stuck it to us on the extra person 35 euro; EdelweiB Parkhotel didn't even provide an extra bed, and in the reservation the "extra bed" price is 20 euro. Not that there would have been room anyway because the room was so small. On a second note - and I do recommend this place, the front facing rooms get a surprising lot of road noise as it's located on the main through way in a quiet suburb area.
The courtesy and friendliness. Went out of the way to accomodate us to our full satisfaction. Indian restaurant Haveli next door.
clean and carm. special smell
There is no elevator.
Breakfast was great, staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was quite far out of town and not directly on any line of public transportation.
We were a family of five -- two parents traveling with three older children -- traveling into Munich from Dachau. We had a very hard time finding the hotel as it is situated in a residential area. When my reservations were confirmed, no directions to the hotel came with them, even though I had noted to the hotel that we would be driving from Dachau. Once at the hotel, we found the staff to be tight-lipped and uninformative unless we kept after them for information. The carpeting throughout the hotel (in hallways, up the stairs, and in the two rooms we had) was dirty, although the rooms themselves were pleasant. There was no elevator, and we were on the third floor. This was very awkward. Outside the back of the hotel, a construction project was under way. Fortunately, we arrived after the day's work had stopped, and we departed before it got under way. One plus about the hotel was its proximity to the electric train that ran into Munich. The closest stop was a 7-9 minute walk away. We did not care for the dirty/worn carpets. We did not like hauling our luggage up the staris to the third floor. (There was no elevator.) We also thought it was very expensive compared to our other accomodations on our trip to Germany
helpful staff, good breakfast, too far out of central city and convention center
A lovely quiet area with the streammrunning right past
Warm atmosphere, very home-like, quiet, nice rooms, very comfortable bed, beautiful view, no complaints at all
very nice environment no coffee maker or iron board
Location, also liked the atmosphere and the way the hotel was decorated.. Owner of hotel very helpful. Owner charged more for breakfast than was posted on the internet and we didn't find out until we were checking out.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. At the price charged, breakfast should have been included.
Good athmosphere, Beautifoul soroundings, good location, parkin possibility.
it was very cosy and quiet place the whole hotel was non-smoking
The rooms are very big and the surroundings are pretty. There is a river running right by the place with a calming water sound. It is close to the highways and ringroads so getting in and out by car was very easy and quick The hotel is 1.4km from a station. There is a bus that will take you to the station. The hotel stinks of smoke, but at least our rooms was smoke and smell free (entirely).
The shower/tub combination only had a 1/4 length glass closure and showering was a real challenge and water went everywhere.
I loved the river that ran right behind the hotel and the adjacent bier garten My room was terribly small and I didn't have a river view. Also I had to go outside and smoke in the rain My friends had a good room
Deres morgenbuffet far i topklasse
The breakfast was excellent. Location was perfect for Oktoberfest Double room was small. The beds were toe to toe.
Nice, cosy hotel with tasty breakfast.
good position for commuting to the centre of Munich quite long waiting for the hotel staff, direct view at cemetary
Absolutely quiet! I slept well.
clean, comfortable, good value and convenient they put Bibles in all the bedrooms !!!
Overall very good experience! Hotel is clean and very warm. Staff is very friendly. Located close to bus stop. Wish there was more than one TV channel in English(CNN only)!! Maybe one or two Entertainment or Movie channels!
The fact that the staff could not have been more helpful than they were to us. It was just a shame that they did not do dinner in the evening but the alternative down the road from the hotel was excellent.
Asked for better room, and manager was able to help Room we were offered was a substandard single room with two single beds and not what we booked.
The breakfast was adequate and most of the staff were helpful. They gave good public transport advice nad happily stowed our luggage after we'd checked out. For what we paid, I was disappointed with this hotel. The room was very basic, not terribly clean. The bathroom was fine, but the window had been lodged open so it was freezing. The reception is staffed until 10 pm, and unstaffed from then until 6 am. We asked an evening receptionist for some hot water to make coffee and she refused (point blank refused!!!) to go and get us some. The receptionist in the morning made sure that we had a hot water flask and mugs. There are not complimentary drinks as standard. The hotel adjoins a school, so was quite noisy in the morning.
Close access to trolley into city center as well as park with botanical gardens. Nice breakfast included. Helpful to tourists, clean room. Close to busy road.
Everything was clean, room was spacious, good size bathroom, fridge in room, good beds, not too noisy in spite on being next to busy city road. Hotel does not have an elevator, internet connection requires re-log on frequently.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Free guest parking.
Real nice staff! Loud because it's next to a busy street.
Location, easy to find, surroundings, clean rooms, good breakfast No staff after 6pm
Nice staff, clean rooms Too distant from the city center
clean confortable it closes at 10 pm
Locations is amazing, 5 min walk to metro, great good close by, staff were kind and very helpfull!! gave us city maps and many good tips. room was large and comfortable. double beds were actually two single together, not a huge issue though.
lovely environment, friendly staff did not realize staff had very limited English and limited hours of availability
Calm district of munich. close to public transport and 20 min transfer to munich's city centre. close to the chateau nymphenburg and its park. No restaurant in the hotel. no minibar in room.
breakfasts staff - person at the reservation desk was extremely unfriendly and even rude!
It was clean and confortable and good breakfast. Easy access to railway into town but enjoying a quiet location. It did job of short city break. There was no complimentary coffee/tea or machine to make some, which would have been welcome after day travelling.
good hotel staff, comfort, very silence,
This hotel is located in Munich suburb and located very close to train station. The area is very quiet. The breakfest was good Windows are very high, hotel is located in vila, so you can see the neighbours and thay can see you. If you want some privacy you have to keep the curtains closed.
Very cooperative and helpful staff. Located in very quite neighborhood. Only 4 minutes walk from the S-Bahn station. Clean and nice hotel with large rooms. Would be my first choice if I'll ever be in Munich again. Free wireless Internet access would be nice, pillows could be better. A coffee/tea corner with electric kettle in a room would be nice to have. Besides that everything was great.
The hotel is in a good location for arrival to Munich by car. Also, very convenient to a train stop with easy travel to central Munich.
The service was exemplarary, The hosts went out of their way to ensure we had a
Very clean, location near to public transport, good breakfast. No facility to make coffee or tea.
staff (very warm, friendly and helpful); very good breakfast in a nice room with a veranda; very pretty house in a quite and nice surroundings; room cleanness; easy to reach from the motorway 8; efficient connection to the city centre also at late evening (bus+train)
The staff was very helpful.
The hotel was very attractive and clean. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The bus stop was right outside the hotel and took you to the metro station, so getting around was easy. The owner explained how to use the transit system, which was very helpful.
The staff were very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was excellent. We had the unfortunate circumstance of being near the stairwell and could hear everyone going to and from their rooms. Just make sure you don't stay in room 17.
To be honest the reason for choosing this hotel was the rate (120 euro per night). Not cheap but one of the cheapest for the Oktoberfest period. First of all the rooms were extremely small even for single ones. If you are a little taller than 1.75 and bigger than average size you will not fit in the shower!! The breakfast was very simple with just the basics. No reception during night hours. Too far from the city center, around 25-30 minutes by public transport although there is a bus stop outside from the hotel which takes you to Pasing train station and from there to the city center.
Very nice surroundings and staff Too far away from the center
Efficient and friendly staff, room was large enough and clean with garden view, excellent breakfast well exceeding usual *** hotels breakfast quality (and quantity). The bus stop is 25 meters away and the bus quickly brings you to the (S-Bahn) train station, from which you will get to the city center in just 4-5 stops. There is nice restaurant close to the Blutenburg castle and pond - 4 minuted walk - not many hotels have good restaurants in the vicinty.
the breakfast spread was good.
The staff was so helpful and friendly.,Always going the extra mile to make us feel welcomed .Krestin has keep in touch since our stay answering question we asked. the stairs no lift
Hotel Aida staff were very helpful. They spoke some English, enough that there could be communication. The rooms were nice and clean. The Hotel is a few feet from a bus stop and about 200m from the S-Bahn. The cost per night was a little high, but it is Munich and it was during the Oktoberfest
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, which made the stay enjoyable. The rooms are rather small, same the bathrooms and possible more choice for the breakfast buffett, even if you need to up the prices for that.
