It is relatively newly built and the air conditioning WORKS unlike many other hotels in Rome, Milan, LaSpezia, Siena and other towns we stayed in. It is very far from the main tourist attractions - so take heed that you will be a 20-30 minute metro ride/wait from anything touristy to do.
The hotel seemed like quite a lot of money for what you got. It wasn't in a location close to the main attractions, and there weren't any real special services. I paid the same amount for a hotel in Spain and got a lot more for the value. We asked for a non smoking room but there were people smoking in the hall outside our room. The internet was very expensive. 3 euro for an hour. But in general it was clean and very quiet.
Room was clean and spacey. Internet was charged even on web site it says that it is free. One woman on reception was not so friendly and hardly spoke English.
Nærmeste by/restaurant 15min gang.
Air cond. doesn't work well
Efficiency of staff (e.g. arranging taxis), relatively easy access to public transport. Sparse breakfast selection, intra-hotel noise, shower cubicle in need of upgrade, including partly non-functioning soap dispenser; scarcity of conveniently close restaurants, area unexpectedly dirty (although this cannot be laid at the door of the hotel)
The man at the reception did not speak English. So when I made a call, we could not have a conversation. We had to walk a little bit from the closest metro station but the hotel was good!
Nice & clean hotel.Helpful stuff. The hotel is located next to passing train & train station. Therefore noisy & impossible to open windows.
Large room. Nice balcony. Friendly staff. The shower was awful. Literally a standing slot with a curtain and drain. There was no difference between the bathroom floor and the shower floor. Hotel smelt of cigarettes. Wi-Fi was spotty. Bed was very firm.
The hotel was alright, however in a very dull part of town. But they advertised that they had a swimmingpool and it was located 15 min walk away in a complex where you had to pay 13 Euros to get in. To me that is not having a swimmingpool.....
I was really satisfied, no problems. What concerns breakfasts, sweet food products prevailed over the others (honey, jam, no cheese, sweet croissants only).
Hotel was very close to the Mostra d'Oltremare, which is occasionally used for concerts (as in my case, Laura Pausini). Basic stuff that you need is there, but nothing too fancy. Internet is available, but not in the rooms; and not sure if wi-fi is available to the users, I was directed to the lobby pc. Somewhat larger minibar, so you can cool your own drinks. Larger room with three beds, while I booked a double room, was nice, I like space. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was ok, bit basic, but quite the same as most other hotels I've visited in Italy/France. Paid parking is available just outside the hotel and at the time of my stay (saturday/sunday) plenty of space available at a nice price; also at that time) The room's decoration is very outdated, could use a renovation. Bathroom is quite basic and the shower is quite old (rusty knob, dirty shower curtain). By default there's no clean-my-room/do-not-disturb flyer in the room, perhaps you can get it at the reception. Internet wasn't available in the rooms, but according to the reception guy, they are working on that. Quite difficult to find, even for (Ercolano) local taxi driver. Breakfast was not on the roof, but downstairs.
Service and staff were excellent and very helpful; nice breakfast and clean rooms. The area around the hotel is not nice; it feels a bit unsafe, even for Naples
Distance from any amenity.
Needs refurbishing, new windows and a lot of paint
Position and once the works are finished it will look good. At the moment a lot of work going on, but unavoidable
Unfortunately, we've suffered from mosquitos attack at night. The name of the hotel as externally appears is: "Hotel Delle Terme". The name Charm & Relax does not appear. This can be misleading while searching for the hotel (indeed happened to us).
Nice Hotel, friendly owner. Free car park in front of the hotel, out in the street. It is also possible to park your car inside if asked for and if you return early enough to the hotel. Good value for money if you arrive by car and you want to leave it there while visiting the town. The hotel is very nice but in a quite ugly area, with rubbish in front of the hotel, as usual everywhere in Naples. It is an hour away from town by public transportation (bus + walk + metro).
Very helpful staff
Very relaxed atmosphere and outside of city's noice. View of the hypodrome from the breakfast room. Poor public transport connections in the evening.
The hotel itself was ok, somewhat clean but a good value for the room. The hotel is very very very very far from Naples. It takes almost two hours to get there by bus and metro. It is in a bad neighborhood and we often had to pay extra for cabs to take us there at night bc it was unsafe to walk and no one wanted to drive that far out of Naples. The services listed were not available! No airport shuttle!!! Which is one of the reasons we booked the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone not from Italy coming to vacation!!!
At least it was basically clean, and a nice location. Other than that all else was horrible Cleaning, geting more staff, fixing the building beacuse it looks it is falling apart, the awfull breakfast (it was almost nonexisting), the rooms that are small, the tv that has 2 channels, the bathroom that is full if holes, the towels that feel like kitchen towels. It needs a serious renovation, all of it.
Because of the welcome received from the staff it was a very homely atmosphere, and they were always willing to help and assist. The Manager is multi lingual which was a big help, we would be happy to stay there again. It is not a luxury hotel but clean, well appointed and close to the local railway station, shops etc. Well recommended.
Very clean rooms, always fresh and white towels ,frendly personnel. Not far from the beach and metro station(10 minutes to town center by train).Very good swiming pool. Breakfast can be more various. No fruits and vegetables at all.
The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, they made the visit in Naples turn out to be a pleasant experience by being the most friendly people in the whole city! Whenever there was a problem, they made everything possible to fix things up. They even ordered us pizzas delivered from a nearby pizzeria for us every night, since we didn´t speak Italian and the people in the pizzeria didn´t speak English! The room was big and tidy, the beds comfortable and the air conditioning was great. The pool and the garden were lovely and peaceful, as was the whole hotel in a loud and crowdy Naples. I would definately recommend this place to anyone staying in Naples and if I came again, I´d book a room in this homelike hotel. The surroundings were not nice at all, but the everything in the hotel made you forget about what is on the other side of the fence. This is definately not an area cleaned up for tourists, but if you want to see real Naples everyday life, this is the place. It was quite far away from the center, but the metro connections were quite fast and frequent, and easy to use.
the sea view of the room the breakfast is so basic, doesn't few like it is 5 star, is more like 3 star hotel
The children enjoyed the fact that they could go swimming everyday. The decore and overall condition of the rooms.
The room was far more drab than I thought it would be, but was fairly clean. The terrace is really big, but overlooks train tracks, so quite useless. The best thing is that 4 people fit easily into the junior suite, which makes it quite a bargain. The soaps, towels, and little extras make the room a better deal than the majority for its price -- however, you are FAR from downtown, and thus a car is best.... The bathroom stinks, but the door can be kept shut. The bathroom is very dark, as is the room itself. The train tracks are really terrible, though the noise is not as bad as others have complained of.
