Ulemper: "The flight from Nairobi to Zurich starts in Nairobi, flies an hour south to Dar es Salaam, you then sit on the tarmac for an hour, then you fly north for an hour until you get back to the starting point. I would think they would save money if they flew an empty plane down to Dar es Salaam, picked up those passengers and then flew back to Nairobi. No way should an 8.5 hour flight take over 11.5 hours. Plus my screen didn't work for one of the flights, nearly 12 hours without entertainment was BS. No real variety in their meals either. The first leg had a main meal of beef and potatoes as the meat option, same option for the second leg."

Distances between gates are very significant and if you are not running there is a possibility you not going to make your connecting flight. Information how to get to the Z gates are not clear and it really takes a long time with all passport check points and security to pass through."
Ulemper: "We only had 45 minutes between flights. We almost missed our flight to Naples due to having to go through security again in Frankfurt. The Frankfurt airport was very congested. I wouldn’t have booked a flight with such a short layover had I known how far apart the gates were and that we’d have to go through security again. I would suggest not offering flights with such short layovers."
Ulemper: "There was no entertainment in the flight , which was totallyfine for me as it was a short flight; I downloaded one magazine prior to my initial flight in SFO but was unable to access it."

Ulemper: "having to climb up 6 stories with carry on luggage isn't fun. Some elderly people were struggling, caused everyone to slow down. I'd have taken the elevator if I had known we had to walk all the way up. Regardless, my expectation of German airports and German engineering is high, but things we take granted in US like escalators are a luxury in Germany and clear directions are missing... on the oncoming flight we had to wait for a door to be unlocked while everyone was stuck in the aisle way and stairs.."

We all just waited for our luggage at the baggage claim and only after we all complained that our luggage was missing did we find out that none of it made it to our destination. Now, we're without luggage for 2 of our 7 days in Italy."

Ulemper: "The boarding here was completely unorganized. After people had just been in a crowd, they attempted to have people love up, which was futile. Some of the seats were dirty and/or unkempt. The snack option wasn't to my liking and may have been the cause of a stomachache later."

Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Ulemper: "Information on KLM website and flight status said 50 minutes delay and was never updated with the true status. 3 hours before we took off. KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

Fordele: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Ulemper: "It was really unclear which desk to use at Birmingham airport to check in. It was extremely stressful for a first time flier as I had no idea what to do - the desk location wasn't marked clearly and when no staff were there it wasn't clear that the desk was open."
Fordele: "Overall, my trip to Cardiff via Amsterdam was smooth and delightful. I've flown a few short trips this summer and I was pleasantly surprised to find KLM still offered complimentary snacks. What a refreshing change!"
Ulemper: "There was no entertainment which is why I assigned that category only one star. The boarding process in Amsterdam could have been a bit smoother. Announcements were no clear."
Fordele: "It was a short flight so it was O.K."
Ulemper: "Boarding was odd. Go to airport early and counters were not open, did on line check in so was able to avoid the self check in at airport. Also self check in luggage seems confusing with no ground crew to help. It didn't affect me but lots of confused passenger."

Ulemper: "No power to charge phones, laptops, etc and no WiFi available. For such a long trip (10 hours) below industry standard."
Fordele: "KLM fed a sandwich even though the flight was only 2 hours. The crew was pleasant. Getting through the Amsterdam airport to catch a connecting flight with only an hour to do so was no big deal. Airport staff was pleasant and helpful."

Ulemper: "Udkald til gate, hvorefter vi stod 15-20 min. uden info om forsinkelsen. I fly vidste man ikke at vi havde købt breakfast hjemmefra, men vi fik det da uden problemer alligevel. Men brød kun budt én gang og kaffe 2. gang langt senere. I Malaga ventede vi næsten en 1/2 time ved bagagebånd."
Ulemper: "Et halvtomt fly med en aldrende besætning der klart havde været for længe på arbejdsom kun havde fokus på at blive hurtigt færdige med pligterne så de kunne komme til at pludre med hinanden."
Fordele: "Good selection of movies and music. Food was mediocre."
Ulemper: "Our seat location was near the toilets in the middle of the plane. Seemed like an unusual high number of passengers constantly using the toilets throughout the flight which created long ques in the isle and very unpleasant smells. Would never select these seats again."

Der var også en større flok amerikanske gæster som dog valgte at feste igennem på turen - da jeg vågnede var personalet godt trætte af alle passagerer og da jeg ville have lidt i pantryet var det pakket ned 2 timer før ankomst - sikkert for at lukke førnævnte fest - men det retfærdiggør vel ikke at de øvrige gæster også har indløst billet til business og den service der betales for."
Fordele: "Da vi først var kommet ombord på flyet gik tingene sin vante gang... ellers var der ikke meget hoved og hale på noget som helst."
Ulemper: "Men hvorfor annoncerer man at flyet skal board 1 time inden det sker, så passagererne kommer til at stå i kø unødig lang tid. Flyveren var 1 time forsinket på Flightradar24 og også i virkeligheden!!! Det var ikke noget groundpersonalet ville ud med, så alle annonceringer gik efter tidsplanen - den originale med altså en times gap! SAS find jer en mere kvalificeret partner i Athen, da det er var helt hen i vejret og dårlig service."
Ulemper: "I will never fly with spirits again.. ever"
Fordele: "The movie and tv selection were fantastic. Crew was kind and helpful. Chairs were pretty comfortable."
Ulemper: "It was so cold on the plane with most people including grown men with blankets wrapped up to their neck! I understand the crew moves a lot so want it cold but maybe there’s a happy medium? The cold snack sandwich with cheese and spread of some sort was awful. The main meal was better but not as good as some others I’ve had."
Fordele: "Legroom was sufficient on this leg because I paid an extra $80 for an exit row."

Ulemper: "The take it or leave it attitude of the cabin crew (amazingly casual) and SAS’s persistence in having two standards of service in the one cabin - free food & drink up front, however only tea & coffee or a cup of water up the back and you can pay for the rest!"

Ulemper: "Our suitcase was damaged. Because we did not notice this until we got to our apartment we found that it is not possible to make acclaim, rather you just have to make a general complaint with a response according to SAS likely in 3 weeks. This process took over an hour of my time. The three tel numbers given to report damage are in Scandinavia and not much use when travelling within the UK."
Ulemper: "We were traveling with two kids, and one of the kids drops some bread on the floor of the flight. One of the crew is angry to us about this, which makes us very uncomfortable."
Ulemper: "Rude crew, and apparently now you only get one free nonalcoholic drink in Economy for an 8 hour flight."

Ulemper: "Service was poor and seats were uncomfortable. There were only 4 flight attendants for the entire flight. It took over an hour for our food to be served after we received our drinks. The food was not good at all. The movie options were not the best either. Also, it was so hot during the entire flight especially once we landed and taxied for 30 minutes. I flew SAS to Europe and really enjoyed my flight but this experience makes me never want to fly SAS again!"

Ulemper: "Booked SAS Go level which included 1 piece of luggage each. At check-in, we were told that is not the case despite SAS' own website saying that it is. I was charged another $320 and I am disgusted with their business practices which revolve around, deceit, lies andl I would even say fraud! There were many others complaining about the SAS Go luggage issue and then having to pay again. I could have gone with Ryan Air for a fraction of the cost."

Fordele: "Personalet var sådan set op og festede meget over at en kollega havde sidste tur inden pension. Desværre holdt de den kommende pensionist på business, så hvem det var der blev klappet af er stadig et myserium. Men hyggeligt at være med kabine personalet på arbejde"
Ulemper: "Gamle reservefly, hvor der mangler både det ene og det andet samt en 10 år forældet komfort. Når der sættes reservefly ind af væsentligt lavere kvalitet end den vare, som man forventet køb, så bude der være en eller anden form for kompensation. Forøvrigt glad for jeg ikke havde indløst business på denne tur da det i grunden havde været at betalte dobbelt for forventelig komfort på en moderne SAS Plus."
Fordele: "That the person with whom I would have shared seats, found one with their party - had all the space...by chance ! The people at the counters are nice."
Ulemper: "1) I had an empty bottle and asked for water for multiple medications (as I had sprained my foot) thinking the stewardess had a jug of water. She opened a bottle and poured a fifth . I said I had to take many pills (antiinflamatory are three) plus iron and probiotics I take. She told me, holding the used bottle mostly full, that if I wanted more , I should buy a bottle !!!! And put it away !!! How insensitive and inhuman !!! I didn't know she was going to open a bottle !!!! Very insulting !! 2) When another stewardess passed by offering food, I asked what did we have a right to and she (only then) offered me tea or coffee (which should have been offered first). They I asked, as in all other flights (short South American flights and USA donestic) if she gave crackers or nuts to which she unnecessarily gloated pointing to the curtain that there , in economic plus , they had everything free ...insulting treatment and unnecessary information ...just like in my trip to Nice !! Same attitude ...it's probably horrible training courses. 3) you'd think the men and women that speak over the loud speaker would have bothered to learn English ...it was broken English and even sounded like babble to me...so I just ignored it ! 3) again no instructions for transfer as you come out of the plane. Had to figure it out asking cleaners ..as my flight was at night again. People below seem to coincide in that they complain of rudeness and lack of re-direction."

However, this was never the intention, I had planned to take my small bag with me but last minute Vueling offered to check it in for free, since the flight was full. I should have never agreed."

In the end we managed to get on the flight which seemed to have at least 4 extra empty seats. Poor customer services and communication to us of whether we would get the flight or not and what to do if not."

Crazy! Moreover, the whole business processes that Vieling use are just dijointed. even getting help I still never received by boarding passes via email."
Ulemper: "Worse, Vueling charge you, on checking, to “choose seats” with no obvious way of not paying for them! I’m sure here was a link somewhere - but could I see it?! Nope! that and my suitcases, and I had paid over €100 extra on top of my initial flight cost. BA or Easyjet next time!"

It did not end up being an issue because there was plenty of ovwrhead space for my carryons but it could have been. Wifi would also be nice. Even if i had to pay wxtra for it."
Ulemper: "An hour late to take off, then the captain didn't turn off the seat belt sign for another 45 minutes in clear skies. My friend had to use the restroom but the flight attendants locked them and yelled at her everytime she tried. Very rude."

Ulemper: "They overbooked the flight and would not let us on even though we had tickets because we did not check-in that morning online before our arrival to the airport. They re-booked us for another flight that had a connection but it kept getting delayed so they made us re-check our luggage 3 separate times. When we finally made it to the connecting city (Barcelona) that next flight was delayed from 9 pm departure to 11 pm to midnight and then to 2:30 AM with no confirmation that the flight would actually take-off. There was no one that could offer us help or give us answers as to what was going on, all employees were very vague and kept telling us they couldn't tell us anything. We spent 14 hours that day in the airport for a flight that should have taken 1.5 hours. They gave us 6 euros each as compensation and that was it. To put in a complaint to get your money back is very difficult. Their website is often down and they make the form very specific online so that if you type something in lowercase letters it won't go through. I will never fly them again and strongly suggest you don't either."

Not only did it take time and energy to find clothes for her but it was very costly. I've flown MANY airlines and have never had deal with lost luggage so I was expecting more from the airline to do everything possible to located it or compensate us for their mistake, especially when we had to pay an additional $50 USD to check-in our luggage (that ultimately ended up lost). I would not recommend this airline."
