Central beliggenhed og god morgenmad
Vi,ægepar sidst i 50'erne har haft et fantastisk phold på dette skønne hotel i hjertet af Napoli. Kommer meget gerne igen.
Perfect Not at all....
Centrally located to everything. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful After one shower we ran out of hot water the first morning - the problem was addressed and corrected. The breakfast was on the skimpy side - not really what was expected.
location in the heart of Naples the inside rooms are too dark; one lightbulb was burnt out, and although I reported it to the reception, it was not replaced
Great location, nice staff, very quiet room, good breakfast The temperature in the room was too high (yet too cold at night to leave the window open), the air conditioning too loud to be left on. Apart from that, it was a great hotel.
Room was clean. Doing construction outside, bar not open, location OK but not great.
I enjoyed the warmth of the staff and their helpfulness. The hotel is an old building squeezed in the block and without any outside view.
excellent situation for exploring and safe
The attitude of staff at reception named Mr.P was wrong. As there was no hotel telephone directory, I had to come to reception to ask morning call but he didnt appologized until I suggested to do so.
I stayed in this hotel for 14 days. I appreciate especially the location. The room and the services are good. The breakfast is very limitd and need to be more variate.
One night stay. Room, hotel facilities, staff and breakfast all excellent. Room rate high but this a 4 star hotel and the euro/pound exchange rate not good at the moment so that doesn't help.
The staff members were very, very helpful. I had travelled by myself but felt very safe here.
The Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The hotel was near the centre of Naples and easily accessed by train and bus.Great hub for visiting Pompeii, Sorrento and Amalfi Coast. Initially difficult to find - address not located on local maps and some cab drivers had great difficulty finding it.
the staff were really freindly.
A quiet haven in noisy narrow streets, in a good position for most of the sights.
reat staff, very helpful. Good english and the place is new, only two months open. Very large rooms, close to the city center, Nathion Museum, churchs.
Location is Perfect! Easy to go by foot to the old center and shopping area. Free parking!!! The selection for breakfast is not so wide but everything is perfect! The modern hotel just opened. Everything is high level!
Good location - close to the old part of town. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff.
It was very quiet and clean with great rooms/bathrooms. Very safe. Unfortunately the location of the hotel in the Centro Storico part of Napoli means that while the hotel is very safe the actual district is not so safe or good for tourists (dark, narrow streets). I am a seasoned traveller and am not usually fazed -but this time I felt a bit anxious moving about. Maybe thats just Napoli ...?
This newly renovated hotel is an oasis of calm in the midst of the endless bustle of Naples. It is located right in the centre of the old part of the city, in easy walking distance of all major attractions, and a number of excellent local restaurants. It has wonderful facilities and helpful staff, and is an ideal place for a visit to Naples. Highly recommended.
Nice staff, clean room, internet working well. No restaurant in the hotel, ugly surrounds with very narrow streets and no parking available.
Rooms are spacious, clean and well built and maintained. Stay away of the Single Bed, it is small (that's normal in Italy), my suggestion is to book a double room even if traveling alone. Service was excellent. I work in the Travel Industry and I have been to hundreds of hotels Palazzo Decumani ranks high in my personal 4-stars list.
Good location, luxury hotel the spa was not ready... :-)
The good ambience n excellant service The lack of internationa tv channel as all were italian, they shud cater to internatinal guest
The service and presentation was impeccable, the bed one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in.Top marks in all areas!
Modern exciting design, very good staff Noise air-conditioner, controversial location
Excellent food and drinks. The staff was very helpful and professional except for one waiter. Very nice pool / SPA and hotel atmosphere / interior. The housekeeping was rather like 3 or 4 star hotel. The opening hours of bar, restaurant etc. was typically Italian instead of international, which leads to not getting something to eat or drink between specific hours.
The ambience and execellant service from staff, they when out of thier way to render assistance when i need to go to Sorrento and the Hydrofoil was grounded. The hotet entertaintment like the TV channels must cater for tourist who dont speak italian ,i.e more english channels
Quality of room
Hotel was nice- Modern and up to date The neighborhood was terrible= Naples looked like it was rundown with crime from where this hotel was situated. The room was small and somehow, the shower opened directly to the bed. The lights in the room were on a sensor- so if you are showering and not moving, the lights shut off within 60 seconds. on my high standard, the hotel was essentially built to try and be a 5star, but failed to get there. the beds were terrible as well- 5 star hotel, i expect a queen or a king bed that is not a stiff European bed on a board. If you want a 5star luxury hotel, its not that. But it was nice.
Nice contemporary rooms. The "Japanese" theme did not match the Italian atmosphere. The hotel is situated in the wrong area; it should have been placed in the suburban area of Naples to match its lush atmosphere. I did not like the fact that every item (water, internet service, breakfast, local telephone call, etc.) was a la carte. The prices in the restaurants were also extremely expensive. This hotel seems to benefit the businessman as opposed to the average vacationer.
Everything was amazing! When leaving we told them that everyone across the world would do well to take after their lead of impeccable service! Where do I begin... As soon as we entered the door we were swarmed with people to take our bags and take them directly to our room! Then we were escorted to our room where we were then orientated- very modern, so you need a little briefing...LOL! THey have a mini bar that calculates what you took out and automatically puts it on your bill. There were also the most delectable strawberry cream appetizers awaiting our arrival along with apples and water. THe decor was gorgeous! We wanted to stay the whole time and not go to Capri it was so nice! We ate dinner at the restaurant- top of the line 5 star plus service! They even brought me a table for my purse! The lady did not get a menu with the prices which I though was amazing- they also gave us a water menu...who would have thought? As soon as our candle lost its flame on our table it was replaced within 5 seconds...no joke! We went to workout the next day and the windows were not working, but before we new it they had called the contractor to come fix them temporarily so we were comfortable. I can not say enough about this hotel- I have told all of my co-workers and friends about this hotel and we will definately be staying again! ??? Are you kidding??? What is there not to like? Unless you don't like helpful, friendly people!
The Romeo is an upscale, eclectic hotel, near the waterfront in Naples. The service is generally excellent, and the rooftop pool is unusual and not to be missed. The rooms are high tech, perhaps too much so. The overnight shift at the front desk could use some retraining - indifference seems to be the primary attitude. Naples itself seems safe and is a vibrant city, but it sure is dirty and needs routine litter pick up and infrastructure maintenance.
Very modern hotel. state of the arts room such as auto-lighting, glass made wall, desk and toilet door representing 21st century in this old city. friendly hotel staffs except 1 woman in the restrant . expensive breakfast. inconvenient to/from station & downtown center
The location was fantastic. The room was nice and spacious with a balcony overlooking the city and the breakfasts were good
close to grocery store and walking distance to all attractions none
The location of the hotel was excellent for my needs. It was clean and tidy.
Friendly staff. Very old, tiny shower and bathroom, not in a very good neighborhood.
location is great, breakfast ok, room fine works going on in the street and so a lot of noise. I know these kind of works can take a lot of time (years) so be prepared
I liked the cleanliness of the room and the cable tv. Nothing
museum visit Naples
room nice and large. large flat screen TV. hotel staff friendly.room and bathroom clean. No view from our room or decent balcony. Window very small. resturant out of use during our stay.
Clean and quiet. Good breakfast. Good location need the old city. The internet didn't work one night!
Central location, quiet, nice rooms, good value for money. Will come back.
The staff were very kindly and helpful. The surroundings of the hotel was terrible.
It was fairly central and quite easy to get on city bus tour and not far from main railway station
the staff was quite friendly and the breakfast was decent in comparison to several places around the train station behind the hotel was pretty loud from about 5h in the morning
location near the train station but not easy to reach.
Value for the money is OK. The Hotel is located next to the railway line. The balcony doors are very good, the noise of the trains was only disturbing when the doors are open.
Clean modern interior, friendly and helpful staff, good facilities including business centre. Its location is convenient for the railway station, but the area is run down so not so pleasant after dark.
It looked like a reputable hotel from the outside. The room was hot and when we rang the concierge, we were being told that the air con is shut from 10pm onwards. It was ridiculous. The hotel was also next to a train station so it was extremely noisy.
the service of the staff was amazing a little bit far from the center but as they have the shuttle bus service that doesnt mind so much
good breakfast,central position,
Its localisation was very good for me close to central railway station and metro, not so far from the old-historical part of the Naples, the neighborhood seemed a bit suspicious, but there were any act of agression at the streets aroud. The internet access was reglamented by the interent access recharge cards which you just had to ask at reception desk,( fortunatelly it was a promotion period and there were for free) I felt not comfortable to go 2 times a day for a 1 or 3 hour access.
The selection for breakfast was extremely poor. For a buffet breakfast I would expect a greater choice. I certainly in the past have found a better selection at lower rated hotels.
Breakfast was great. Room was nice. All italian channels (no variety) + impossible to order movies
The public areas were clean and atractive and the staff were pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the linen and towels were crisp and clean I requested a room near to a friend who was on floor no.25 but when I received my key I was on floor 17 when I pointed out my request I was confronted by a kirt "it is not possible". I aslo requested a non smoking room but was put on a smoking floor. They advertise a safe in every room I never found one in mine. The enamel on the bath was badly damaged. The razor socket in the bathroom was broken so much so that water could enter the mechanism. There was a smell in the bahroom. The air conditioning didn't appear to be working. It would appear that at sometime the room had been broken into because the inside door frame was damaged. The day before we were due to leave, our room was stripped as if we were vacating it that day, this was promptly resolved by a receptionist.Every time we wanted service from the bar we had to find the barman who appeared to double up in the dining room. You may wonder why I didn't complain but I was there to support a friend who had been mugged and badly beaten and was in hospital I therefore had more important things on my mind and spent very little time in the room. I may have to return but will consider a different hotel. The room was 1727
trough the window we can see all naples very beautiful panorama... stains on the wall in the room, broken bathroom glass, rusted bathroom tubes.
the location was grade because there are restaurants and bus station near by. The view from the high floors is breathtaken !!!!!!! the breakfast eas poor for 4 stars hotel . and the difficulty of aproaching the parking which doesnot belong to the hotel!!!
The location In napoli is very good. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff. On the edge of being rude. We stayed 3 days and everyday, 1 lift was out of order. Considering this hotel receives a lot of tourist bus, imagine when you are trying to take a lift. For the same reasons of tourist bus, It was difficult to take breakfast, no table available or no food available. We had 3 rooms and in each room, the safety box was "out of order". The reception sent somebody to fix it but could not find the problem. The free internet service in the lobby was also "out of order". The lift to the garage was "out of order". Finally, except for the location, we cannot recommend this hotel.
Efficient and well organized, clean rooms. I would expect in a hotel to have a map of the city to be offered to the clients. Also, more care to have english in every leaflet and post.
Friendliness of Hotel Staff Amenities need updated Air Conditioning did not function very well if at all, room was very uncomfortable temperature wise.
We wanted a view of the bay so got a room upgrade without having to pay extra. The famous AC Milan football team also stayed while we were here and Liverpool stayed the week before! The service in the restaurant was very poor. We waited over 30 mins for our drinks and over an hour for our meal which was ok but not worth the wait. The prices for the food and drinks in the bar and restaurant were ridiculously expensive. This also applies to the mini bar in the rooms.
Hotel location, restaurant staff Front desk was very impatient, the rooms from 21st floor and above are refurbished, so make sure you ask for these rooms because the rest of the rooms are really worn out and are not pleasant to stay in, breakfast was very basic and included very few vegetables
It's near to the pier that you can take ferries to other places like capri. Close to shopping area too. Nearby restaurant and supermarket. Close to the bus terminal if you want to take the city sightseeing tour.
i was in Napoli more then 10 times and i knew that the location of this hotel is the best for being in the center. And the hotel itself is clean and good as usual Renaissance hotels. there will be always someone from the staff who seems to act impolitely....but i guess its something about italian culture and their emotional expresivness.
helpful staff, cleanliness and silence of our room, excellent location (nearby:bus stop "Citysight" and to airport, good shopping, Nova castle), excellent breafast for Italy.
Central; good value (for Italy). Breakfast decent.
Central location, balcony in room work ongoing on third floor unaware of until stay therefore communal hallways and lift areas rather dusty! Bar opening hours poor!
Practical very old accomodations
Great location and best price for the area. Room was suppose to be non-smoking, but it smell like smoke. Internet access was available for a very high fee (7 Euro an hour); other hotels in the area charge only 8 Euro for 24 hours of use.
Best location, clean and confortable room.
Normal service. Very noisy after 8:00 due to works in the hostel
Very good location for our purpose (attending a conference at the Stazione Marittima) also for getting to other locations in the city
Location was good for us because it was near the ferry terminal where we arrived from Palermo. The area was much cleaner than area around the Central rr Station. The hotel was near the Castel Nuovo,San Francesco di Paola, and Teatro San Carlo. Rooms and hotel were clean and staff friendly.
the hotel is ok, but still the wi-fi internet should be free. small bathroom, but still ok for one night stay
I've liked the location, the facilities, the hotel staff, been in your hotel make my vacation beautiful and unforgetable, reasons to choose the same hotel for the next trip in Neaple I didn't like the absence of vegetables at the breakfast.I didn't like that the airconditioner make too much noise
Super friendly staff, perfect rooms.great!
I liked very much the hotel and we enjoyed our staying. The room was super- designed, even if it's a bit kitch, like a table suported by 5 angels =) We stayed at lux, and we had really cool jacuzzi (thouth it was loosing water, and after ll th floor was wet). In general we liked it, i would've put 9 from 10.They also recomended vr good restaurant downstairs, it calls Castello Nuovo (I guess)), the food was amaizing! The onlu one thing that there was confusion when we arrived. We couldn't find the hotel, coz it's not like they have some billboard on the road or adv ecc. We took the elvator, came to the door of the hotel, and no one opened a door to us, coz' the guy from reception left it... we were waiting kinda 15 min before he came, and we were thinking that they just have stolen our money and our bank accounts are already empty.... lol...and 1 more thing, i didn't like that there was a lot of garbage downstairs... but it's what Napoli like!!! U can do nothing.
The staff was amazing and very helpful!
Very nice hotel with good location (not far from harbour and center). The rooms are very good, big and with stylish design. Staff was very helpfull. A bit strange building, where the hotel is situated, without special signs about hotel. Poor breakfast like in majority of italian hotels.
Modern interior, very nice bathroom, close to port for ferries. Noise of the tv from reception
Confortable room (everything was clean and fixed) and good situation. Very friendly stuff. They were very helpful. Grazie mille!
Friendly people. Room simple, but comfortable. Difficult to locate.
Very large rooms, very nicely decorated. Breakfast room was nice and service was friendly. Difficult to find. Staff only sporadically available. Shower stall so small that if you drop the soap, you can't pick it up! Breakfast room opened an hour late.
The hotel is in good central position, the staff was very nice and helpful, the room was really nice. The noice at night disturbed us a little bit, though hotel is in the narrow street without almost any traffic, but there were people shouting loudly at night. There is also very difficult to find parking around - gladly the staff helped us with that a lot.
Friendly staff The hotel is hard to find amidst a labyrinth of streets in not a particulary good area of the city.
three rooms were very nice and the location was quite convenient. The owners were incredibly nice and helpfull, and made the stay very enjoyable it was a bit hard to find at first as it is a fairly small street, and noise might be a slight problem, but all of Napoli is quite loud haha
The staff, once found, were very helpful, despite the language barrier, and had a lot of great suggestions for seeing the old city, including the pizzeria with the best pizza I have ever tasted. Bathroom details broke at the slightest usage on the first night but had been completely replaced before I came back without me having to say anything... Hotel is in a labyrinthine part of town so not so easy to find, and the surroundings are a bit off-putting. No-one answered the door on arrival and after some confused phone calls it took some nervous minutes (standing around with an expensive laptop in a back alley) before someone arrived (in fact, appearances were deceptive and the part of town was fine). One issue (for me) was lack of an elevator but a strong staff member helped me with my heavy equipment case on check-out... Lack of a breakfast was unusual but kept the price down and allowed me to get breakfast on the way to my work and therefore experience a bit more of Naples. To be clear, this is a budget hotel
Excelent locatiot, few minutes walking distance from central station, old town, port. Very very nice and helpful staff! Great value for money.
I like only that hotel staff was very friendly and nice. In the description of hotel : "one bottle of the wine gratis as a welcome" in real no wine, nobody even ask if I would like to have it. room are not comfortable at all but I can undarstand that because of the price but why booking.com is so not honest? The descriptions are so nice... seems all hotels are perfect but when you arrive....!!! cleanness - big minus, dust on the wardrobe, surroundings not nice at all. one star hotel - on booking.com: two stars
Very helpful and friendly family-run hotel, very close to centre of city. Very noisy outside at night, beds not that comfortable, were woken up to banging on our door - never found out why. It was very hard to find and a very small sign - walked past it a few times before finding it.
Staff were available 24 hours a day. Staff helped provide me with a reputable taxi for my 4:00 AM flight. I received a full sized bed even though I only reserved a twin. The hotel felt shabby like a two star motel. This is fine for the price I paid, I just didnt know what to expect, maybe this is helpful to other travelers.
Clean, modern, conveniant. Stayed for one night. The stuff was helpful and friendly. Free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was a little skimpy, but espresso was excellant.
Very friendly and kind staff. Clean room and hotel. The hotel is located in the safer area of the city, good location to visit, shop or take the ferry ... Breakfast was acceptable. Real good value for money. None
Great location. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room.
Great hotel, good location, wonderful staff. Extremely pleasant and very helpful. Would certainly stay there again. Highly recommended!
Golden Hotel is very nice hotel. Its design and especially cleanness is very good. Hotel staff is very helpfull. Its location is very good from the perspective of historical places and proximity to ferryboat port to Capri and other holiday towns. Breakfast is poor.
Best hotel I've stayed in Italy, much over 3 star expectations. All brand new, very nice staff.
