Everything was amazing. How early check out was not the best.
Rooms need updating. Pool dirty. 90% kids. They should advertise this resort as a kids and family resort. Not a good value for the money
We celebrated our anniversary and were upgraded to a beautiful suite, and the front desk staff sent a beverage, chocolates and fruit to our room when they learned. Loved the room, the grounds are amazing and enjoyed the amazing amenities. We're planning to return every year.
The location was great. Staff were very friendly. Garden room had a single window unit type AC that did not sufficiently cool the room. Hotel is currently under construction, which makes it very hard to get around. I found bits of cracker on the floor around my bed upon check in, but was too tired to deal with it at the time. The matress in my room felt old and sagged on one side. The pool bar closed at 5. The famous Catalina pool has many broken tiles. I was promised an emailed receipt at checkout, and have yet to receive it. I've made two calls to their accounting department and they have not returned my call.
The location was close to the airport and only a short drive to University of Phoenix Stadium. It was perfect for a quick in and out trip.
The only things redeeming about this property are the free parking, free breakfast and warm cookies. This hotel is dingy, rundown, and desperately needs renovation. The room doors are also not within a closed building. This Double Tree is nothing like any of the ones we've used in the past. Save your money and look for a cleaner, safer and nicer overall property.
Very upbeat place to stay. Colorful and uplifting! Rooms are very spacious and the beds are big and cozy. Staff was very friendly!!! Me and my husband will be staying here again!!!
I didn't contract any disease Rundown dingy with homeless people and prostitutes hanging around. Very noisy. Towels, when you could get them, were dirty gray and Iike sandpaper
Friendly staff, clean comfortable room The price was rather high
the food lost & found never calls you back, nor they answer the telephone.
The room was great, the price was right, the staff was friendly and the proximity to the downtown area and shopping was perfect! We enjoyed the breakfast and lounged with a drink in the evening. All the fun pictures brought a smile to us as we rode the elevator or enjoyed a quiet sleep in our room. We would definitely stay here again. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
The hotel is basic. No real amenities. No sundries shop as well. There is a small pool and a standard gym. Some of the equipment is a bit old. The only plus is location. It is located right across from the Biltmore mall that has many upscale shops and dining options.
Location is right by the airport and within 20m of anywhere you want to get in Phoenix and surrounding areas Pool was fairly small
Reserved the room on Kayak when my plane was delayed and I knew I would not make the connection but later airline decided to give a voucher for my room. When I tried to cancel this room, a mere 4 hours later, I was told no and that I would be charged even when I would not be using the room. Will not be using Kayak again. #gotmeonce
Great customer service!!! Nothing at all
Found crumbs in my bed and hair on the towels. Just mentioned it and they cleaned right away and we're friendly
This is the second time we have stayed at this Hampton Inn. We like staying here because of its central location. The rooms are comfortable and clean.
Breakfast -the food was good if not outstanding. The coffee and tea available 24 hours was a nice touch. Crowded breakfast room. Our view was the parking lot and medical buildings. Staff were good but they couldn't make up for the hotel facilities. Drains didn't work properly and shower head couldn't be adjusted.
The shuttle drivers and front desk staff were very nice. The free breakfast in the morning was excellent, and the restaurant had great food and great service. Room was spacious and clean. Everything great
schuttle service was nice age, crappy location
The room was nice had a room next to it with couch table microwave and refrigerator a kinda get away room.
The hotel says that it is a smoke free hotel. We checked-in the hotel and the room smelled like someone had been smoking in it recently. I spoke with the hotel desk and they told me they had no other rooms. His only solution was to hand me a bottle of febreeze. There was also a ton of fruit flies flying all over the room. We ended up checking out immediately and booking another room. I've never experienced a hotel like this. Pay the extra money; don't stay here.
