improve services on board
Loved check in / food / blanket & entertainmenr on Lufthansa. The seats are old and need a redo. The crew was decent just not warm. The lounge at Frankfurt took over 25 minutes to get in. Something needs to change United connecting flight crew / entertainment / updated seating was great. They could not accommodate my special meal as the only special meal available is kosher. We shd have been informed of that earlier!!

Everything was excellent during the whole process from start to end. We will definitely travel Lufthansa again.

Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"
Ulemper: "Agent changed our flight to Munich and sent as a email with with confirmation on July 10. involuntary. On July 20. I checked Lufthansa app and found that only flight that was shown was flight Toronto-Thunder Bay. After 3 hours of phoning I found that flight from Munich to Toronto wasn’t available for date that was given us in email. Only option was day earlier or later. Left us to take day earlier and we could not changed last flight( Toronto- Thunder Bay). We had to come on Aug 22. and stay in Toronto for 27 hours and than take a flight to Thunder Bay on Aug 23. We lost a day of our vacation, had to stay at hotel. Not good experience at all. We still don’t know whom to complain about that."

Ulemper: "I din't like the fact that Lufhtansa company uses double standards for the countries where they have their flights. From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

This is completely unacceptable. I have received no communication at all from Lufthansa to explain why our bags were not loaded onto the plane, even though we saw them out the window, on the cart, next to the plane, before door closure. I am wondering if someone at Lufthansa decided it would be fun to ruin our vacation?"

I will never fly with this company by my own choice any more!!!"

Ulemper: "So That we could attend the wedding early the next morning in Oldenburg. They then had the audacity to void our return flights. Luckily I spoke with a lovely lady at Lufthansa, explained the situation and she re-instated return flights for an admin fee. Will never ever use Swiss Airlines again."
Ulemper: "I was switched seats against my will on board! Although i reserved the seat ahead of time when i got in i was pretty much forced to sit somewhere else. The staff handled the sitution in a very poor manner!"

Ulemper: "Flight was late departing Cairo Changing flights from Cairo to Amsterdam was scheduled at 50 minutes. I asked the male flight attendant about changing airplanes, said our new gate was right next to our arriving gate. He said no problem. He failed to mention we had to go through customs and security again, and walk almost a Kilometer in the process. Fortunately they held the Amsterdam plane because many passengers would have missed it. I did not appreciate the lack of information from the flight attendant, however holding the plane was a godsend."

Fordele: "I never try Austrian airlines because this trip was my first trip with them and I'll say that it's one of the best trips I ever had the airport at Vienna it's very small and easy to go anywhere you want and it's super clean and the stuff at the airport are very helpful and they all speak English and I was able to get a hotel room with walking destination from the airport and it was a very good experience overall I'll definitely recommend to anyone and I'll definitely keep them on my top list"

Fordele: "When you travel with an infant it's already a difficult trip but it's really fraustrating when you find out that they didn't assign you to the seats with the baby bassanet, and when I went to the counter to fix the problem instead they change our window seats to an isle seats without even asking or notifying us with the changes, and they when I asked how come you don't automatically assign infant reservations to infant seats their excuse was what if there were more infants than available infant seats and they already gave out those seats with extended leg space to others who already had paid for it, and surprisingly there were multiple of infants on board none of them in those seats but rather the other passengers who paid for it, so basically they got paid extra and you will only suffer for almost 10 hrs so they can make extra profit. NEVER AGAIN AUSTRIAN AIRLINES!!!"

The agent had to talk to someone in order to even issue the boarding pass and even though the bags were checked in all the way to Pittsburgh boarding passes were not issued. I cannot blame the agent because Luftansa had issued the ticket for this Austrian Airline flight."

Very cramped flight, overhead bins were all completely filled, and passengers had to fly with bags by their feet which was not very comfortable for me personally.
Wrote in the previous message. Poor. Delayed flight and lost working day. 4.5h together to rebook the flight, get the hotel voucher, get to the hotel and check in. Insanely slow.

Listening covid restrictions and following them is completely nonsense. Avoid touching others? How when plane is full and everybody who pass around touchs me. Keep distance?? How???? Avoid walking in the plane but also wash your hands regularly with soap and water? How? I should avoid walking but at the same time you want me to wash hand regularly? It means i have to walk up and down. What is regularly for you? Every 15mins? Every hour? Every day? It is so stupid what you are telling that my brain stops to work.

Was a nice trip got me where I wanted to go
I booked through Justfly.com and had to cancel the flights due to the new Omicron virus. The airline (Scandinavian Airlines) told me to get in touch with the agency as they could not do anything. However, its been completely impossible to get a hold of the agency by phone (I called them twice and stayed on the line for more than 1h without getting through), and you cannot reply to or send them e-mails. I cancelled the flights, for which I paid about $1,500 to be on the safe side so they would not think I just missed them, and for that they charged me $60 (!!!), so anything they can charge you for online works, but everything else does not. Absolutely horrible customer service.
No covid safety. Keep distance apparently don’t count when you onboard or in the bus from gate to/from plane. Could hardly move. And late again, again, again. Seems to be the new norm.
Don't choose KAYAK. They avoid any responsibility.

Ulemper: "Flight left Boston 1.5 hours late. I barely made my connecting flight but my checked bag did not. SAS outsources to GBS to handle missing bags. They promised 24 hours to deiiver to my hotel, but took 3 days. No one answers their phone. Terrible experience."
Fordele: "SAS has what is missing in other airlines, the three P's - Pleasant, Polite, Professional."
Fordele: "The SAS flight was fine. My dissatisfaction was with the company that booked my ticket which I found through a Kayak search. When booking, there was no information about luggage and I ended up paying for it at the airport. This should clearly be declared in the online booking process."
Ulemper: "Third delayed flight in a row within the week. Seems to be considered acceptable business practice."
Fordele: "Yes, crew was excellent"
Ulemper: "I was charged 70 Euros per bag for two bags a total of 140,00 Euros which is more than the airfare per person for flying one way from Tallinn, Estonia to Stuttgart, Germany. I had no other option except cancel the trip which was not an option and so I paid. There should be some fairness! Rampur"
Ulemper: "The pilot strike resulted in cancellation of my flights so getting home turned in to a challenge"
Ulemper: "Udkald til gate, hvorefter vi stod 15-20 min. uden info om forsinkelsen. I fly vidste man ikke at vi havde købt breakfast hjemmefra, men vi fik det da uden problemer alligevel. Men brød kun budt én gang og kaffe 2. gang langt senere. I Malaga ventede vi næsten en 1/2 time ved bagagebånd."
Ulemper: "Et halvtomt fly med en aldrende besætning der klart havde været for længe på arbejdsom kun havde fokus på at blive hurtigt færdige med pligterne så de kunne komme til at pludre med hinanden."
Fordele: "Stille fly godt sæde."
Ulemper: "Wifi virkede ikke eller kostede Xtra. Man fik ikke en gang et glas vand."
Fordele: "At jeg kunne ligge ned og sove"
Ulemper: "Sov hjem og fravalgte første servering på business. Der var også en større flok amerikanske gæster som dog valgte at feste igennem på turen - da jeg vågnede var personalet godt trætte af alle passagerer og da jeg ville have lidt i pantryet var det pakket ned 2 timer før ankomst - sikkert for at lukke førnævnte fest - men det retfærdiggør vel ikke at de øvrige gæster også har indløst billet til business og den service der betales for."
Fordele: "Da vi først var kommet ombord på flyet gik tingene sin vante gang... ellers var der ikke meget hoved og hale på noget som helst."
Ulemper: "Men hvorfor annoncerer man at flyet skal board 1 time inden det sker, så passagererne kommer til at stå i kø unødig lang tid. Flyveren var 1 time forsinket på Flightradar24 og også i virkeligheden!!! Det var ikke noget groundpersonalet ville ud med, så alle annonceringer gik efter tidsplanen - den originale med altså en times gap! SAS find jer en mere kvalificeret partner i Athen, da det er var helt hen i vejret og dårlig service."

Fordele: "Seats are pretty comfortably and spacious for economy class (I’m small though, so take that with a grain of salt). The lunch was pretty solid, would have preferred a hot breakfast. The vegetarian breakfast was grilled veggies with fruit and yogurt on the side, kind of a mish-mash of things."
Ulemper: "- Would have liked a better breakfast - More entertainment with subtitles (esp foreign films) - More entertainment selection"
Ulemper: "We were traveling with two kids, and one of the kids drops some bread on the floor of the flight. One of the crew is angry to us about this, which makes us very uncomfortable."

Ulemper: "The flight from EWR to Oslo was delayed by over 2 hours which meant I would miss my next connection... and I understand that happens sometimes. But, it was after hours on the airline number phone number and the fly.com customer service could not help with finding an alternate connection from Oslo to FRA. It was frustrating to then have to wait at Oslo airport for another 4 hours before the new connecting flight."
Fordele: "Seats were very comfortable for economy. Crew was pleasant, attentive and efficient. Good seatback entertainment system."
Ulemper: "Once passengers do final passport check and enter secure gate area on this flight to the US, there’s no bathroom available. On the transatlantic flight, no complimentary glass of wine as on other airlines."

Ulemper: "- Boarding process chaotic. Boarding began 20minutes after the scheduled delayed-boarding time without any notice. Gate seating area at CPH was far too small - very stuffy and standing room only. - Aircraft on its last leg. Most of the A340's seats had broken cupholders. Restrooms were out of paper/soap with no attention from crew. Overhead personal lights were either burnt or malfunctioning. - Lunch meal was decent. pre-landing meal is the same as the snack... some sort of dry and non-appealing wrap. - Crew did not perform passenger safety-check before takeoff and landing (seat backs raised up and seat belts fastened)."
Ulemper: "I hated flying on easyjet, there was NOTHING easy about it. hidden fees, horrible service, and flight delays. I am never flying with them again"
Ulemper: "The screaming children. All. The. Yelling. Kids. Also it was an inferno in there. if it's a packed house and customers are standing in the aisles, do us a favor and crank the AC."
Fordele: "Made it safely to destination"
Ulemper: "Series of unfortunate events: 1. No air vents in seats. Plane was very warm the entire flight. My husband and I spent 6+ hours sweating in our seats. 2. Dinner was not served until 9:30/10PM. By the time we received our food in the back, it was cold. 3. For guests who wanted to sleep during the red eye, the lights were not turned off until after dinner and cleanup, which meant only 2 or so hours of sleep in dark."
Ulemper: "Due to a train mix-up, I arrived at the Frankfurt airport with only 53 minutes to get through security and board. Lufthansa would not let me through the process, even though I immediately told them about the problem. They not only refused to let me board, but also refused to reschedule me. I had to buy a whole new round-trip ticket at more than double the price in order to meet my family for our once-in-a-lifetime reuinion in Norway, but also make my existing connection for the return flight. It cost me an additional 999 Euros cash in the middle of my vacation because my Kayak ticket was not refundable."
Fordele: "Good experience. Nothing extra-ordinary. Only complimentary tea, water and coffee."
Ulemper: "Flight arrived on time."

Ulemper: "Norwegian used an extremely old Wamos A320 aircraft instead of one of their own 787s. The seats were not only uncomfortable, but also so tightly arranged that my knees touched the back of the front seat, and I am an average 6 feet tall. Inflight entertainment options were available only through the Wamos app, which could not be downloaded on the plane (and Norwegian had not mentioned during check in). Unless for people with pre-ordered food, it was not possible to buy even water until about 3 1/2 hours into the flight. The flight to BCN on a Norwegian plane was okay, but the prospect of another such return experience makes it very questionable to book this airline again."
Fordele: "Seat was comfortable, crew was attentive, entertainment was sufficient."
Ulemper: "I was not even offered a beverage. On a 10 hour flight, one should at least be given a beverage or snack."
Fordele: "Ticketing staff very friendly. Smooth check in process."
Ulemper: "Disorganized on boarding of passengers. Entertainment system had to be rebooted three times by the captain. Crew not super friendly."

Fordele: "Nice clean, quiet and smooth ride. The economy seats seem to have a little more legroom than most."
Ulemper: "The staff on both transatlantic flights were absentee. While I get that it is a budget carrier and they use a request your services via the entertainment system model, they were all behind the curtain all the time. Not even offering water occasionally. Really? Also, I don’t understand why they promote larger windows with dimming functions if the are going to override the controls. While I understand being courteous to other in the plane who might be sleeping, what good is ordering a window seat if the window is put and left in a darkened state the entire flight? An above the clouds sunset opportunity missed. Annoying!!!"
Ulemper: "I was bumped off my assigned seat"
Fordele: "Flight was smooth, seats were comfortable with more than the usual leg room. TV screens were large and free. Overall it was a great flight."
Ulemper: "My wife and i paid the minimum to board so of course we didn't expect any amenities. But i would think that coffee and especially water would be complimentary anywhere. We were fine without food but I mean how do you have an 8 hour flight and not offer water to passengers unless they request to pay for it."
Ulemper: "My biggest concern was the service onboard. We experienced a flight with the systems for orders for snacks and drinks etc. down. We waited almost 2 hours to receive a bottle of water and headphones, as the system made it look like the items were delivered when they were not. The staff was clearly confused and stressed, and we had to call for attention 2 times to talk to someone who looked at our order and told us the system wasn't working. Two hours after the order we got our merchandise, still charged at full price."
Ulemper: "Cabin crew is not trained and not very nice. You had to pay for water and soft drinks on an international 11 hour (Paris to la) flight which is very strange for a regular traveler like myself. Meal served was budget size too. Entertainment selection was very limited"
Fordele: "Crew was very friendly, boarding was quick."
Ulemper: "Husband is tall and there is not much leg room, there were no complimentary non alcoholic beverages."
Fordele: "I picked my seat out nd this time Norwegian kept layout of plane with what I paid for (they rarely do and often change place configuration without compensating for the change)"
Ulemper: "No a/c in airport terminal or plane. People were sweaty and it was disgusting. No announcements at all while waiting in airport to board plane which was delayed over an hour. Instead the staff was literally grabbing customers and pushing them into lines....I wasn't touched but I was watching and it was amazing that they could get away with what they did. Never handed out customs cards which led to excessive delays in customs. The Customs agents were actually bad mouthing the airline for their poor service."
Ulemper: "Self check-in kiosks not working"
Fordele: "No line at all at check in. Decent leg room for a 6'1" guy like me. Meal tasted good!"
Ulemper: "Something to drink and some peanuts are an inexpensive way for you to not look so cheap and money-grubbing."
Fordele: "Liked the relatively new movies available, wish there had been a few more!"
Ulemper: "Getting stuck in a narrow middle seat wasn’t ideal, also disappointed that the over head bins at the back of the plane don’t open. Beef meal was fatty and not worth it."
Ulemper: "Preordered meal was terrible"
Fordele: "There was a medical situation on board. The crew kept us informed as to why we were delayed and updated us on the situation and when we would be leaving. A dispute between two passengers was solved by the steward wisely moving one of the parties involved."
Ulemper: "Water should be available free of charge on all flights longer than two hours."
Fordele: "Comfortable planes and great prices"
Ulemper: "Having to pay for drinks, even water!!"

Ulemper: "not a fan of this "having to purchase EVERYTHING" system. at least offer water to all passengers once during the flight."
Fordele: "Price was competitive. Nonstop from Oakland to Gatwick was great."
Ulemper: "No Wi-Fi on 787. If they had Wi-Fi, my review would have been excellent, but lack of Wi-Fi makes the flight 10 times longer."
Fordele: "The price was good for a round trip flight. The movie options are good as well. The crew was okay. This was a full flight and no one went above and beyond for guest service but no one was rude."
Ulemper: "The boarding process was extremely disorganized. The original time to take off was 3:30 (15:30) we didn’t take off until 4:45. It took 45 minuets to board the plane. Everything on this flight you have to pay individually. This is an 11h 30 m flight and bags are not included and a meal is not included. Even a small bottle of water, or coffe or juice will cost you $3.00"

Ulemper: "First flight made a U turn mid way through the Atlantic Second flight was canceled altogether Third flight stayed more than three hours on ground before finding a parking space and a gate No one was able to provide us with information- Norwegian did not have a single representative"
Ulemper: "due to the congestion at jfk although the lane was there, we could not find a gate to board from. we were supposed to board at 930pm, didn't end up boarding until 330am...this would have been fine but when we arrived in stockholm they indicated the bags did not come along with the flight and provided no updates on timeline for their arrival. i am here for important meetings on monday and tuesday and need the suits packed in my luggage..unacceptable all the way around.."
Fordele: "price, speed, simplicity."
Ulemper: "all of the food was mediocre, overpriced and not even a cup of water was free. no napkins were provided. trash was rarely picked up. staff was direct and not very friendly. it felt very impersonal. baggage was WAY overpriced, as were seats, so it would have been the same as buying flights on another airline and with more courtesy. I wouldn't fly with them again unless it was a weekend trip and i was flying alone and trying to save money."
Fordele: "Direct flight from Denver to London. Staff is very friendly and process is very efficient."
Ulemper: "The plane is on a quick turnaround and the cabin could use more time for refreshing between flights."
Fordele: "It was a nice new plane."
Ulemper: "They broke our luggage and not very friendly staff. It’s terrible they don’t serve food or drink unless it’s paid for in advance."

Ulemper: "Each Norwegian Air flights play loud pop music during boarding. Neutral low volume music is preferable. Having been traveling for hours, loud pop music is a stressor."

Ulemper: "The seats in economy are extremely close together and difficult for a long overnight flight. Beverages are not offered but they will bring a cup of water if you request it. Check in was a disasters and took a very long time with 3 different check points and a lot of angry customers."

Ulemper: "I tried to sign into prepay for my bag the day before my flight and couldn't, then I had to pay the 50 Euros at the airport and the lady helping me was not helpful when I explained this situation."

Ulemper: "Slow check in despite using online checkin! Took me over an hour!!? Leg room is seriously limited and I had an aisle seat! Staff not very chirpy / friendly no smiles or chat"
