You can't reach anyone at the airline. Even the online portal redirects you to their phone number... a week later!!! Swiss is crumbling

it was a short fligt, otherwise I could suggest entertainment for the flight or wifi connection. thanks a lot for caring

Ulemper: "While waiting to board SFO-ZRH flight Swissair personnel walked around and randomly pulled out passengers from line to check luggage dimensions. Since manufacturers adhere to airline baggage standards, no violations were found during checks. This misguided effort only resulted in publicly humiliating Swissair customers. Boarding process was pure pandemonium...this was the first time in recent memory, where all coach passengers were invited to board at the same time! Very inefficient! Crowded seating in coach,with ten passengers sandwiched in across Boeing 767 aircraft. Competing airlines flying identical aircraft have nine across seatings Thin seat cushions cause leg cramps after a few hours."

Fordele: "After almost completely adapting to the spartan amenities of US domestic airlines, my recent SWISS flight had a too-good-to-be-true quality that rendered my travel companion and I giddy with delight. My dinner (one of three food services) consisted of chicken, potatoes, steamed broccoli, salad, a dinner roll with butter, gruyere, and a strawberry tart... included cream and sugar signaled an inevitable coffee service. This was accompanied by complimentary wine and sparkling water, and heavy-weight stainless cutlery. The seat reclination was good, and the in-flight entertainment was a cut above. Coming off many Frontier flights with pay-for-beverage service, no leg-room, and un-reclining seats, it was about as good as coach can get. I'm actually looking at SWISS routes first before I plan my next vacation."

Ulemper: "There was much confusion and no one seemed to know what was going on with this flight. By the time I reached Schipol all trains and trams had stopped. I had to pay an extra 40 euro for cab home that night."
Fordele: "Flight attendants not friendly, constantly bumped me and never excused themselves. Food not so good and temperature too hot this flight. I was constantly putting on and taking off my jacket. Movie selection seems to be going downhill also. All that being said, I'm grateful for every safe landing."

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"
Fordele: "Flight was good. The problem was the ticket purchased from Kayak was not as stated. Because there was a layover in Amsterdam, I was not able to check my bag all the way through to USA. AND I had to visit 5 counters to check bag, pay for bag at different counter and 3 other counters!"
Ulemper: "It would have been better if the ticket I purchased was the one that I selected. It was not as advertised. I searched for ticket that was translatlantic with one checked bag. BUT kayak booked an ECONOMY LIGHT fare that required payment. It was not as advertised and a total head ache for check in."

Ulemper: "I, again, didn't like walking down 3 flights of stairs, getting a crowded bus to take us to the plane. We are used to using a jetway to the plane. I realize that European airports are busier than American airports though."

Ulemper: "Flight was late causing me to miss flight to Chicago ORD. Missed flight left me waiting in Frankfurt over-night with-out a hotel, nor anyone from Lufthansa to assist with finding a sleeping cot. No airport/Lufthansa staff would offer to bring me a cot and all attempts by me to locate a cot were unsuccessful leaving me to walk from area to area to locate were the cots were stored. Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."

Ulemper: "I liked everything except the cookie. It reminded me of the low quality supermarket American cookies, way too sweet and flavorless. They used to give little sandwiches, excellent in quality!!! A cookie is good too, but a better one would do a great difference! It was early morning, who would eat a sugary chocolate chip cookie for breakfast? But otherwise, I would fly with Lufthansa again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you!!!!!!"

The seats seem bigger...or maybe it is more leg room than some other airlines. I did not upgrade and was very comfortable."
Ulemper: "Well, the flight from Frankfurt to Tel Aviv both ways and there were only 2 bathrooms for a pretty big flight."
Fordele: "Comfortable, clean plane and excellent, attentive service on board. We had little time between connections but airport staff offered to drive us, two seniors, to distant gate on his cart which was a lifesaver."

Ulemper: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Ulemper: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Fordele: "The staff at the front desk for the check-in were extremely helpful. I had a complicated issue with my luggage and they helped me to sort it out in the best possible way. Amazing service! Furthermore, the entertainment on board is great! Nice movies, nice food, friendly flight attendants, etc. They even offered me a second sandwich =)! I truly loved my experience with KLM."

Ulemper: "The plane was very dirty when we landed in Dar-es-salaam. The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

Basic flight. No food, no entertainment but everything was smooth as expected.

Totally packed. No food choice for allergy requirements available in economy.

We were 3 minutes late to the gate, along with at least a dozen other people trying to make this connection, but the flight did not wait for us. Awful. We were only late because there was only one person at the security checkpoint, and they checked every bag and every person one by one.

No covid safety. Keep distance apparently don’t count when you onboard or in the bus from gate to/from plane. Could hardly move. And late again, again, again. Seems to be the new norm.

Der var også en større flok amerikanske gæster som dog valgte at feste igennem på turen - da jeg vågnede var personalet godt trætte af alle passagerer og da jeg ville have lidt i pantryet var det pakket ned 2 timer før ankomst - sikkert for at lukke førnævnte fest - men det retfærdiggør vel ikke at de øvrige gæster også har indløst billet til business og den service der betales for."

Fordele: "Da vi først var kommet ombord på flyet gik tingene sin vante gang... ellers var der ikke meget hoved og hale på noget som helst."
Ulemper: "Men hvorfor annoncerer man at flyet skal board 1 time inden det sker, så passagererne kommer til at stå i kø unødig lang tid. Flyveren var 1 time forsinket på Flightradar24 og også i virkeligheden!!! Det var ikke noget groundpersonalet ville ud med, så alle annonceringer gik efter tidsplanen - den originale med altså en times gap! SAS find jer en mere kvalificeret partner i Athen, da det er var helt hen i vejret og dårlig service."

Ulemper: "No on offered me anything to drink or a snack the entire flight or even a hand towel but others in front and behind me were receiving them. I didnt even feel acknowledged during the flight. Even though the tine was good, the price was way too high but since I was desperate I paid it."

Ulemper: "Hottest I have ever been in a plane (we were in 40G and H) and I “run cold”. We were sweating and drinking water like crazy (they gave us one bottle and did not routinely walk the aisles handing out more). Luckily we brought our own water. Early June and headed to Scandinavia, not someplace hot. Seats were hard and I put my unused blankets under me."

Ulemper: "They should really let you know ahead of time that certain seats (like the ones in front of the emergency exit--not at the emergency exit) dont recline. The passenger in front of me reclined her chair all the way back and seeing as I couldnt recline my seat I had very little space and found the three hour flight extremely unpleasant."
Fordele: "I had read several horrible reviews after I booked my flight but I was pleasantly surprised. The check in and boarding were smooth and had no issues. The seats, though not overly large, we're comfortable and not tight. The food was good and service was fast and efficient. Overall a good experience."
Fordele: "Free water bottles, headphones, blankets and pillows for all passengers. Two meals (one full, one small). TVs in chairs. Flight felt roomy. A relatively pleasant experience."

Fordele: "Personalet var sådan set op og festede meget over at en kollega havde sidste tur inden pension. Desværre holdt de den kommende pensionist på business, så hvem det var der blev klappet af er stadig et myserium. Men hyggeligt at være med kabine personalet på arbejde"
Ulemper: "Gamle reservefly, hvor der mangler både det ene og det andet samt en 10 år forældet komfort. Når der sættes reservefly ind af væsentligt lavere kvalitet end den vare, som man forventet køb, så bude der være en eller anden form for kompensation. Forøvrigt glad for jeg ikke havde indløst business på denne tur da det i grunden havde været at betalte dobbelt for forventelig komfort på en moderne SAS Plus."

The person that picked me up at the aircraft from London was terrific, l was taken to the terminal and told that another team member would take me to the aircraft. No one showed up until the aircraft was fully boarded, then he left me at the beginning of the ramp instead of wheeling me to the aircraft. I was very disappointed! I was so disappointed I didn’t wait for a pickup at the airport in Amsterdam. I regret it, because I’m in so much pain!"
Ulemper: "Wow! BA has managed to finally match Ryan Air and Easy Jet for tight seat pitch and charging for soft drinks but at thrice the price!!!"

I was moved to a flight four hours later Finally, the last leg of my flight was again delayed 55 minutes and I ended up on a very, very crowded flight and getting to my destination at almost 5pm instead of 9am.... missing a whole day of activities. What did I get as compensation from British Airways? A 5 pound coupon for 'light refreshment' for an 8 hour inconvenience. Brilliant :|"
Ulemper: "My flight was changed to a later flight without giving me a reason. I was never given the option of why this happened. As a result i missed my meeting."
Ulemper: "1,5 hr delay. No effort from the cabin crew to compensate for delay. Just stuck in our seats for 1 hr waiting for the airline to be cleared for take off. Would have been nice with a hot towel for face and hands after a long semi-night flight (10hrs). Extremely cold. Everyone was freezing and coughing due to very, very cold cabin air. Very old entertainment system. Grainy blurry screens. No charging of devices via usb. The control was fixed to armrest and was accidentally pressed al the time while resting and arm on the armrest. Remote gate in LHR."

Fordele: "This flight is exactly what you’d expect it to be- no frills, just a cheap way to get around! Coffe is 30 pnc so come pr prepared!"

Ulemper: "First of all, it wasn’t British Airways, it was operated by American Airlines. The seats were cramped; just barely enough kneeroom and I’m only 5’10”. There were no monitors on the seat backs and no choice of entertainment, only monitors hanging from the ceiling. I suppose the airline assumes, probably correctly, that these days everybody has their own entertainment on laptop or tablet. The problem here, though, was that there were no charging plugs at the seats, so you’d better have a full battery when you get on and hope it lasts. Of course, I could have just read the inflight magazine, except that my reading light was broken. Food was decent for airline food."

Ulemper: "The flight staff of my flight to Amsterdam were horrendous. I was in an aisle seat and was woken up by the drink cart hitting my leg and a hot coffee being poured a good 7 inches from my face. This was not acknowledged or apologetic. They also took drink orders by shouting. They were easily the loudest people on the plane and made the flight way less comfortable than it could have been."
