Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."

The same baggage I brought from US is the same weight but hostile to removed down all my clothes. The weight used in Nigeria is not acceptable to many people and it can make passenger run from them"

One bag eventually arrived - took 3 hours second bag did not arrive and apparently did not get transferred in Frankfurt Told they would deliver bag - next day and would text and call - called at 4am !!! I just had come off 20hrs of travel. Phone on mute. No e mail. Now they say will deliver this evening - but no time slot so another wasted vacation day waiting for them to get their act together. Why can't they call/text me with a 30 minute window."
Fordele: "Flight from Marseille was delayed. Very tight connection time to make the SFO leg of the trip (30 minutes). A Lufthansa representative met us at the gate along with another passenger and took us via van to passport control and then to a terminal far away from the one we landed. She was courteous and efficient. We get to the gate in time to board."
Ulemper: "My seat was in row 56, second to last row. The temperature was very cold. I asked a flight attendant to make it a warmer. They tried but to no avail. The flight attendant mentioned that aircraft model (now 15 years old) has had that problem that has never been resolved. Solution was wearing a hat and several blankets. Not good for a 12 hour flight."

Also the giant plane felt like it was hard to maneuver during take off and landing. I would very much prefer a smaller plane. The touch screen in front of me was not always responding when I tried to tap the screen. The audio jack was also not working great; sometimes I did not have audio in my right earbud and I had to turn and fidget the plug. The earbuds provided by the airline did not even work when plugged into the screen, I had to use my own earbuds."

Ulemper: "My Swiss flight from Stuttgar via Zurich to JFK was cancelled before 24 hours without explaining the reason. They should explain the reason at least. I had to take an another flight and arrived at JFK after 6 hours from the original flight. My trip was totally messed up, so I was not happy at all."
Fordele: "The economy seats had as much leg room as the Premium Economy seats on Luthansa, so the comfort over a long flight was better than I expected."
Ulemper: "The charge for checking a 2nd bag was $100 which I thought was much too high. Food was average and not enough given that we were on the plane for over 10 hours."

This caused a big problem for me in the airport, where I: 1- Wasn't allowed to catch my flight ti Vinnea and this was both financial and time lost for me. 2- I was locked in Dussluff airport for more than 14 hours, I was threatened to be sent back to USA or any other country. This caused physiological damage for me, as I been treated like an animal 3- I was asked to pay for my new ticket ( Dussloff - Istanbul-Amman )"

Ulemper: "I could not pay for check-in baggages when I bough 4 tickets for 4 passengers. So I called the airline customer service, and they told me that the first check-in baggage is free. However, when we boarded the airplane on 9/5/2016, we were charged 30 Euros for each bag, a total of 120 Euros for 4 checked in bags of 4 passengers. This is unfair, and I would like it to be corrected if possible. Thanks."

So, I can't rate this flight because it had nothing to do with Austrian Airlines. You need to update your site so that it clearly states "Operated by..." when people are booking."

Ulemper: "I asked for an upgrade as we are on our honeymoon. The ground staff only wanted to get us on the plane and not try in anyway to recognize us. Our seats were very poor quality, you should immediately replace them! I would have rather stood than sit on the flight. The in flight entertainment is so poor. Absolutely disappointing especially with the head sets not working because of poor ports of connection. The food was absolutely tragic. You should fire your catering company. I expect more from your airline and I was disappointed all the way through. I hope you can provide my wife and I better service and an upgrade when we fly back to Washington DC on Flight AF 0054 from CDG to IAD. I work in the luxury hotel sector, and even the door men and room attendants have more autonomy to wow our guests. Flying AF does not want me to spend any more money with your airline in the future."

Ulemper: "There are two types of foot-rests, both are a nuisance for people with long legs. The one popping up from below one's seat is extremely hard to put back in place. The metallic one folding down from under the seat in front cannot be secured back and is always in the way if the passenger needs to stretch his/her legs. This seems to be a new appliance, and I jut wish they would do away with it altogether. More is not necessarily better."
Ulemper: "This airline charges for everything, and after you pay once, they try to charge you again, and again, and again (four different people tried to charge me 4 different times for my two checked bags). And they lost the record of my payment, so I had to show 4 times the Amex receipt showing that I had paid before. It took 45 minutes and 4 non receptive agents for me to get my luggage checked. British Airways is significantly better."

Ulemper: "Air France should not sell tickets for which the connection flights are almost impossible to catch. My luggage was not transferred to my connecting flight. I had to run to catch the flight to Bucharest. At CDC there were only two custom officers for checking passport of EU citizens, on a Saturday morning with hundreds and hundreds incoming travelers. On top of it, one female officer was rude. Typical french :("

Ulemper: "They always change the gates, also too many disorders in the gate previous the boarding process, the process it is not clean. They took hand baggage aleatory to send to down and do not ask if we have fragile stuffs there."

Ulemper: "Cabin temperature was very cool for me. Never used a blanket on an international flight before, and used a blanke on this whole 9 hour flight. Maybe a function of the seat location? Not sure but I was cold."

Not only did I miss my flight, I had to book for the next day at a outrageous price. SUPER BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...BOTH KAYAK and PRICELINE. Will never recommend you guys to anyone."

Ulemper: "Why is boarding so prolonged? 1-Small children and elders cannot stand for 20/30 minutes 2-Why are various sections (particularly Economy), no longer boarded by rows. and from rear first...so people don’t clog aisles, step over others, injure or be injured by heavy overhead moves?"

Ulemper: "Flight was late. Boarding very slow. Entertainment was ok by today's standards. Each seat had a display, but movie selection was not great. For a French airline I was looking forward to breakfast -- maybe some nice pastries or at least a decent croissant with jam. None such. It was disappointing. Meals were not impressive either, but the complimentary wine was good. I did not find the seats comfortable."

Ulemper: "I did not enjoy the Java coffee I ordered because the coffee pulps were the first item I tasted upon drinking the coffee. I called the attention of the flight attendants but nobody answered because the 2 were busy selling items to the passengers. I just removed the coffee bits by throwing them out of my mouth using napkin."
Ulemper: "1,5 hr delay. No effort from the cabin crew to compensate for delay. Just stuck in our seats for 1 hr waiting for the airline to be cleared for take off. Would have been nice with a hot towel for face and hands after a long semi-night flight (10hrs). Extremely cold. Everyone was freezing and coughing due to very, very cold cabin air. Very old entertainment system. Grainy blurry screens. No charging of devices via usb. The control was fixed to armrest and was accidentally pressed al the time while resting and arm on the armrest. Remote gate in LHR."
Ulemper: "No free non-alcoholic drinks. Everything at a fee. Remote gate in LHR."

To top it off, the airline decides to leave my bag in the states because the flight was changed and I didn’t notify them; which of course is ignorant because they changed the flight and didn’t even notify me."
Fordele: "Food extremely ordinary-crew scarce when needed-stuff “sitting” around when they should be removed-standards of “American airlines” r way below others & should not be-BA whom I booked with should find another partner-Still waiting to be impressed by a NA airline"

Fordele: "After 18 hours of travel I just slept on this flight. Got on, fastened my seat belt, and don't remember take off or landing!! But the plane was MUCH cleaner and nicer than our international flight."
Ulemper: "Flight crew was a bit loud and it woke me up a couple of times, but it was at 2 pm. So I didn't expect them to be quiet."
Fordele: "Easy to make the connection flight, very informative ."
Ulemper: "BA lost one of my checked bags and made it impossible to get help. Called numbers over 30 hour period in both destination city and BA phone numbers for lost baggage and no one answered. I had to travel back to the airport counter to deal with agents that basically told me there were thousands of bags in the warehouse and that the bag May or May not eventually turn up."
Fordele: "Flight was safe and not cancelled."
Ulemper: "BA needs to adopt the Ryanair policy of limiting the number of carry-on bags allowed on board. BA needs to work better on cabin maintenance. Some reading lights did not work. Ryanair cabin crew are nowadays polite and cheerful. BA crew seem stressed depressed and defensive."
Ulemper: "Crew took bags before we boarded. We had a 2-hour connection and they would not let us CARRY ON our CARRY ON baggage. This made it extremely difficult to make our flight on time. Also, the guy was terribly rude about it"

Ulemper: "We had to pay 55 euro for a checked bag. Since when do you not get one checked bag for free. Also had to pay for a coffee"
Ulemper: "I would think that for over $1,000 I should not have had to pay for food or drink!!!!!"
Fordele: "First the flight was delayed, as it was the flight going to London. Then, BA staff did not provide timely information, and were disorganized without giving clear instructions to board the plane."

Ulemper: "Paying for something basic to drink is something you'd espect on Spirit airlines not British Airways. The cabin crew and gate agents were rude and inconsistent with their behavior. They used to be full of class and unfortunately they are now trash. If I have other choices I will most certainly not choose BA."

Ulemper: "No free refreshments; water would be nice. No line control during boarding - people merging in all over the place."

Ulemper: "No screens to help time pass, enjoy watching movies on the longer trips. Offer a "snack" and free small drink would be helpful. Pretzels or chips. Explaining customs would be helpful for those of us who don't travel. Cramped seating."

Fordele: "Quick and painless"
Ulemper: "The flight was delayed by 4 hours because maintenance needed to change a tire on the airplane. The delay would have been acceptable if it wasn't for the excuses the airline offered. First, they said maintenance couldn't find a spare tire, and when they did rob a tire from another plane, they said the delay was due to FAA paperwork. These reasons, most likely true, suggest American Airlines (British Airways sub-contracted this flight to its partner, American Airlines) was not prepared to handle such an emergency."
Fordele: "Everything was on time. The plane was kind of full but the flight attendants really tried to reseat passengers that wanted to change their seats. To me, that's above and beyond, being in the service industry myself. The entertainment was really diverse and offered many options. The food was good and the red wine was excellent. The pilot gave us regular updates about the flight and the weather in Barcelona, our destination. The seats were roomy and comfortable. Restrooms were very clean."
Fordele: "When we got struck by lightning, the pilot helped us stay safe a feel like we were in good hands."

Ulemper: "Fight could leave on time. It was one hour late. Not even water served complimentary. Seat old and cramped. Outdated entertainment with no variety."

Ulemper: "After 6 or so hours, they ran out of many snacks at the snack bar! Chocolate muffin and brownie, etc..."
Ulemper: "Making and being offered a solution that wasn’t two days later. When our plan had to emergency land due to engine surge there was no one working at the Norwegian desk. You had to wait in line for an hour and a half for a person to give you a slip of paper to call. They should have just told everyone"
Fordele: "I liked Landing and leaving off the flight."
Ulemper: "They provided no drinks or food for a 12hr flight. I was Charged $100 for my luggage when the check in process didn’t give me the option to pay at the kiosk. We were delayed by 2hrs and missed all connecting trains to my final destination."
Fordele: "Everything turned out well but..."
Ulemper: "Neither the website nor subsequent communication let me know I could buy dinner or snacks. Nor did I know that blankets and headsets were not provided. It was actually better than having carts blocking the aisles for so long. There was just insufficient information ahead of time"
Fordele: "The legroom was good."
Ulemper: "I changed seats with another passenger and I had preordered food. After telling this to 4 crew members, they still kept delivering my food to the wrong seat. I ordered vegetarian, so I got my food before everyone and then they kept forgetting to serve me drinks and coffee and so many other things."
Fordele: "The fact that the plane was newer"
Ulemper: "Perhaps offering water to passengers who didn’t select in flight meal option. Eight hour flight with no water is horrible. There is an option for buy bottled water for 4 Euros but I think basic customer service should include water. Terrible... I’ve never seen this before!!!!"
Fordele: "Efficient boarding"
Ulemper: "Not only do you have to pay for a meal or snack, but there is absolutely no free drink service at all, not even water. Want a can of coke? $3 on your credit card and I’ll get that right out to you. What a joke. Have to pay for a blanket too. The most penny pinching airline I’ve ever flown."

Ulemper: "I didn't get served or offered a meal for the entire 10 hour flight. I doubt the food had to be purchased as people all around me were eating and I think I was the only one on the plane not served. The flight attendant crew was very rude yelling at me and not serving me a meal. Never Norwegian !"
Ulemper: "Be on time and not spending my night at the airport because i lost the flight and they could not find anything earlier. I will never travel with kiwi again."

Ulemper: "Crew were irritable and unfriendly. Plane was an hour late and our luggage was very slow coming off the plane, causing a missed flight connection."

Ulemper: "Our flight from VCE to CDG was delayed 30 minutes and the flight from CDG to FLL was early. We missed our check in by TEN MINUTES and were not even allowed to pass the security to speak to someone at a counter. We were told with ZERO empathy that we lost all of our money from the previous flight and we needed to buy another ticket. VERY EXPENSIVE TICKETS. The only VERY EXPENSIVE tickets available had a 6 hour layover IN MOSCOW. This was such a horrible experience. What a way to end our honeymoon. You have utterly destroyed something that was supposed to be a wonderful experience."
Ulemper: "Seats were very tight. Crew was not at all friendly. There were no free food or drinks. Even water and coffee were not free. I tried to order a muffin and were told they ran out. It was a very long 12 hours!! I am sorry I will be taking Norwegian airline home."

Ulemper: "No Dreamliner—more like a nightmare liner. No online boarding pass meant reentering security line with no fewer than 500 people in front of us; 3 hour delay departing newark; filthy, crowded, standing room only lounge in Newark; no sight of flight attendants until 2 hours after take off (by that time it was 4am and no beverage)."
Fordele: "Nothing, seriously nothing."
Ulemper: "I purchased business class ticket. Norwegian downgraded me to economy and lied and deceived. Norwegian procedures and policies are abusive and their staff are unprofessional. The worst airline experience after flying 2 million miles in 40 years on numerous airlines. Never Norwegian again."
Fordele: "The crew was very nice. And the flight was good."
Ulemper: "Our flight was delayed by six hours. We did not leave until 5 AM from new work. It would’ve been nice if they had given us water, crackers or something in that time since all the shops were closed"
Fordele: "Food was ok and staff was friendly."
Ulemper: "I booked an isle seat, however it was switched to a middle seat without my knowledge. I was not informed that movies/entertainment could only be accessed from United app on my phone, so I didn't bring my phone charger with me. Seats were quite uncomfortable."

Ulemper: "Only 2 bathrooms were working during most of the flight which is not enough to accommodate everyone’s need"
Ulemper: "Narrow aisles. Disorganized queue when boarding. Flight delayed without giving any information about the delay"
Ulemper: "We missed the flight due to last minute cancellation of our originating flight from Rochester NY to Newark with United. The cost of changing our flight through Kayak for the next day was over $750 and the travel insurance I purchased through Kayak may not cover this event. I may never use Kayak again. Here we see the high cost of low price deals."
Fordele: "Really pleased they fly to Austin,Texas direct from London. They give a very cost effective alternative to BA. We upgraded to Premium for a reasonable fee. We liked the masses of leg room but on a night flight it is impossible for the middle/window passenger to escape as all seats are back with footrests extended. The cabin crew were very good. The plane was new and very clean. Roast beef salad for breakfast was tasty if unusual."
Ulemper: "Low cost premium is rare, and some cost cutting is understandable. That said....Premium seats weren’t that comfortable. I’m not too tall (6 feet) but they didn’t support my back well. There was no music entertainment so ensure you bring your own. There is plenty of power. The film selection is the same in both directions and pretty limited. Not a problem if you are sleeping though. Note: When upgraded you don’t seem to get all your prepaid extras refunded and we couldn’t choose our seats in Premium. There is no business lounge in Austin. (There was in Gatwick). The Norwegian app never linked to my reservation automatically. Some synchronisation work required there. Unlike other premium flights the drinks service was pretty limited. I didn’t enjoy eating out of a cardboard box, but the food was tasty."
