Ulemper: "Frankfurt Airport check lines too long. Only half of security checking stations opened. Hundreds waiting in line and the lines moved too slow. After passing the long lines of security checks, you come to passport checking stations. only 1 out of 3 available stations is manned. Again, lines too long and barely moving. Probably many missed their flights while waiting to go through passport checks. We lost almost 2 hours between security and passport checks. Airport personnel were unfriendly, they did show any care towards the hundreds that are herded like sheep in long lines. They could have eased this backlog of people by manning all their available stations but they did not. Will try not to go through this airport in the future."

Fordele: "Premium economy seats make a huge difference in terms of comfort. The Vegan pre-selected meal was way better this leg of the trip than the LAX to FRA trip. Entertainment was good too."
Ulemper: "Gate changed ast minute so we had to walk a long way to get to it with 3 kids. Airplane with no entertainment at all. Also the worst was getting to Beirut without 2 of our bags. We got one of them 1 day later and the second 5 days after. When we got the second bag few of our things were gone."

Ulemper: "Flight was late causing me to miss flight to Chicago ORD. Missed flight left me waiting in Frankfurt over-night with-out a hotel, nor anyone from Lufthansa to assist with finding a sleeping cot. No airport/Lufthansa staff would offer to bring me a cot and all attempts by me to locate a cot were unsuccessful leaving me to walk from area to area to locate were the cots were stored. Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."
Fordele: "So because of tge traffic and snow i got at the airport 25 min before the departure of my flight...but when i explained my situation every employee tried their best to help me in getting on the plane, by even opening the gate for me!! They were very helpfull, fast and efficient. Thanks to their kindness and efficiency i was able to get on the plane and see my family at home. I am verry thankfull to all the staff for it!"
Fordele: "On time, punctual and efficient. Just what I would expect from Lufthansa."
Ulemper: "This was a 747, but in economy they've configured it with newer 10 across rows like they do on the new Dreamliner, which I hate. These new seats are much narrower in width (not ideal, but fair enough, the airline wants to maximise capacity) and much harder to sit on for a long haul flight (much less ideal, after a couple hours, the seats were just plain uncomfortable, by the end of the flight really unbearable). The food (pasta) was not particularly good and not to the usual standard I expected for Lufthansa. Staff were efficient, but not particularly friendly. To be honest, I've had better flights in terms of comfort on the likes of Ryanair and Thomas Cook."

Do they run inferior planes to South Africa compared to USA?"

At no point in the booking process, when I paid over $800 for the trip, was I told that I needed a specific travel visa (Canadian ETA) to fly back into Toronto for my return flight. Subsequently when I checked in for my flight yesterday morning in Manchester, England, I did not have the required travel documents and had to be rerouted onto a flight into the U.S. at a cost to me of $350. The rerouted flight got me to Washington Dulles airport, where I then had to purchase a second flight to get me home to Cleveland, Ohio, at an additional/extra cost of $450. MY CAR IS PARKED AT TORONTO PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT!!! I am having to now rent a car and drive there tomorrow (Friday) to collect my car, at another additional cost of $100 plus a 10-hour round trip. Due to the lack of information and communication on your companies behalf, I am down close to a $1,000 and will lose 2-days in work as of the additional days I am having to travel back to Toronto to collect my vehicle. I would appreciate contact from your organization to find the avenue I need to take for compensation of my time and finances. Regards"

Fordele: "I felt like I was traveling in first class! The crew treated me VERY well it was like night and day from the trip I made TO Italy on Air Canada who I will never travel with again. I will look for future travels with this airline for certain thank you so much!"

Ulemper: "It was a problem with one passenger, she came from another row and take two seats close to me and my daughter, she wanted to fly with comfort, so I told her it is not nice, this is not her seats and I have a kid with me and she should share wirh another people too, butshe was freeked out because I did a comment, than she asked me what country I'm from and I told: Russia. So she told me she could see why I so unclever...all Russian the same and laughing on me. I didn't expect so racist behavior and I stopped any conversation and complained to flight attendant. And I was double surprise! She went to her talked with her and than tell me that she could take any place she wants and she never told me any racist words, and maybe I'm a lier. I was so upset and I told a passenger that I can go to court when get back to US, she was really scared now and start sorry! But it was to late to sorry! When I asked flight attendant to sorry, she told she do not sorry!!! The flight was Monday October 3rd 2016 Lufthansa 459 San Francisco -Munich, name of flight attendant Eva-Katherine Pfaffel, the passenger seat 44 Diana or E I think, they didn't provide me information about name or her seat. The flight attendant told me it is not big dealing, maybe for Germany it is ok, but in US it is really rude, original I'm from Russia, my daughter too, additionally she is black, it will be really good if I never feel this again, I was in really helpless situation. It is really unpleasant when you spend money and get neglect."
Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Fordele: "Once aboard the plane, all went well and I experienced excellent service from the cabin attendants."
Ulemper: "The flight was delayed (again!) for some 40 minutes and I was worried that I would miss my connection flight in Atlanata. Fortunately the pilot made up for the delay (probably costing the airline thousands in fuel). It seems these days that every KLM flight I take is delayed. This stretch goes back to 2015! Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!"

Ulemper: "I ordered Wheel chair for my parents but one of them didn't get it at all. When my parents were checking in for flight they asked the representative about meal selection and she didn't answer their questions properly and because of that my mom didn't get proper Hindu Vegetarian food on flight instead she got Egg omelet which she couldn't eat. She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."
Fordele: "The flight AMS to MEX was smooth, very helpful personnel on board, we enjoyed a bit more space and the seat seemed a bit more comfortable."
Ulemper: "Besides the seat relative comfort, it did not recline much at all, i wondered what the extra money (at least $5 or $600) got us. The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

Thank you for offering a dietary option that is compassionate toward animals and contributes less to climate change! Now if only the planes were powered by clean, renewable energy... Hopefully that will become a reality someday very soon! Oh, and also the crew on this flight was exceptionally kind and helpful. Thank you so much!"
Ulemper: "I did not enjoy the turbulence, which I suppose is unavoidable. More importantly, I felt quite guilty about the greenhouse gas emissions of my flight. I have decided to cut down on my air travel as much as possible as a way of reducing my carbon footprint."

Ulemper: "The "new" seats were hard and uncomfortable. Avoid any kinds of seats near the bathroom in a configuration with 3 abreast next to the windows. The "aisle" seat is essentially a "waiting area" for the rest room."

Fordele: "The seats were much more comfortable then my last flight. The entertainment system was also updated from the 1980’s remote and cord ones on my flight from DC to Paris."
Ulemper: "There was no food between the two meals on an 8 hour flight. I had a flight attendant rudely tell me that there is nothing to offer until the next meal. No one reached out to me about the horrible flight and comments I made from the last flight."
Ulemper: "The conditions were very cramped. The entertainment system was quite old and had very little selection. My entertainment system actually stopped working all together. I called for assistance from my seat a couple of times, but nobody came."
Ulemper: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."
Fordele: "Crew attentive. The delay was due to airport conditions in FCO, cannot be blamed on Air France."
Ulemper: "Food. For a 2-hour plus flight, from 11am to 1:30pm, we got 20gr pretzel sticks. This is ridiculous. Don't pretend you are not low-cost! Formerly, before the Joon failed (thank God) venture, Air France had real sandwiches around that time of the day on that line."
Ulemper: "Very cramped seat on the TGV train. I will definitely choose and pay a seat on my own next time, rather than accepting the on picked by Air France... And it will be cheaper, too!"

Ulemper: "Awoke to find ill man laying on floor in aisle next to me with oxygen. Shortly after... Passenger in seat near man on floor (diabetic but no one tells us anything) needs to lay across four seats with oxygen for heart issues for remainder of trip with staff and doctor on board nearby. Nevdr informed what was happening, never offered to move our seats or move iIl passengers. Glad all turned out ok. Could have given them more privacy and better informed other passengers."

Savner engelske tekster på engelske film, det er svært at høre al tale på filmen, både på grund af støj fra flyet og kvaliteten af øre telefonerne"

Ulemper: "departure board listed flight as being boarded and gate closed hour before flight leading to confusion and standing in queue for over an hour, part of food was frozen and inedible, paid for upgraded seat which turned out to be by bathroom smells were as bad as you can imagine"
Fordele: "Red wine was excellent"
Ulemper: "Bright lights on throughout flight, would have been nice to dim lights for late night flight so passengers could rest"
Fordele: "The new movies selection, food was very good, staff more friendly than previous flights"
Ulemper: "Boarding always a problem on MEA we have to wait too long in the queue"
Fordele: "Air france crew at Mumbai Airport very rude and not supportive during checkin"
Fordele: "Very efficient boarding. We actually departed earlier and then landed in Barcelona 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Overall a very smooth experience."
Ulemper: "I have never been in a situation were a flight has been delayed due to the co-pilot suffering a knee injury prior to take off. A request for a doctor on board after an hour or so and then having to leave the plane and then re-board after about 40 minutes was quite bizarre."
Fordele: "On time, staff was nice."
Ulemper: "Not many options and not even a glass of champagne. That’s a minimal requirement. No sparkling water. Just very limited"
Fordele: "I did like Flying with Delta and Air France but not with Ukrainian airlines (when booking , it should tell you what airlines will be used , to make a better selection )"
Ulemper: "When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"
Fordele: "Flight was on time."
Ulemper: "Food could have been much better in comparison with other airlines."
Fordele: "Crew was nice although one fellow was a little too “nervous” and looked bossy"
Ulemper: "Food was awful. Asked for vegan meal they got it half right, as vegan is not vegetarian. And the second meal or snack as they say was not vegetarian or vegan at all."
Ulemper: "Missed flight due to lack of direction, last minute gate change and they shut door in our face after telling us they were holding plane"
Fordele: "Very quiet"
Ulemper: "We were in the last few rows on a turbulent route. The yaw damper constantly overcorrected, resulting in lots of side to side motion for the passengers"
Ulemper: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"
Fordele: "The staff was very nice and friendly"
Ulemper: "One hour delay without any information on embarking and another hour in the plane before departure"
Fordele: "Food was Fantastic, Air France the Best on Air."
Fordele: "Crew was very nice and the plane was clean and comfortable"
Ulemper: "Worse food I ever had on a flight ( a small bowl of lentils and some bread) Movie selection was poor, although not a big deal"
Ulemper: "Screen broke half way through flight. Food was poor"
Ulemper: "CDG is a monster. The distances are long . The signage is poor and when I asked for directions the diirections I got were wrong."
Fordele: "The cabin crew was very good!"
Ulemper: "The economy premium seats are very uncomfortable"
Fordele: "Super fast boarding and smooth takeoff"
Fordele: "The fresh bread and cheese."
Ulemper: "The staff is very unprofessional in receiving the passengers and serving the drinks mainly. The luggage wasn’t received and after 24 hrs no news about it! It’s a shame"

Ulemper: "Initially the flight from Lima was delayed for almost 1:30 and then we lost this connection then Airfrance rebooking to SAS they tell us to take all our luggage’s and check in again it’s was awful and really bad from then walk and spend time we suppose to be quite at home ... the worst was in SAS have ano system and for 1.5 kilos extras you might pay 33€ so after long day and wait, running everywhere with all my staff I see to eat a 11€ menu at the airport with not more explanation from Airfrance .. really bad and worst services.."

Ulemper: "The airlines didn’t even notify the passengers with the connecting flight. As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."
Fordele: "On time after latish start"
Ulemper: "Staff took carryon bags even for skypriority even tho lots of room in overhead, allegedly to speed deplaning. Nowarning to repack. Infuriating and stubborn staff!"
Fordele: "Crew was professional and friendly. Plane was clean. And food was served quickly without the hassle of ordering from a menu and paying. And it was delicious. Best airline food I’ve had in a long time. The chocolate dessert was incredible. And a coffee to go with it. Made a three hour flight very pleasant."
Ulemper: "All airlines need to remove a row of seats and give everyone just a bit more legroom."
Fordele: "It es a good flight back"

Fordele: "Option to upgrade seat which I didn't take but might for outbound red eye flight in future."
Ulemper: "Faulty toilet meaning longer queues for the loo. Crew were a bit haphazard in serving food and my row was missed out for coffee after dinner."
