We had to wait for all luggage to come out, then go to lost and found, what is more puzzling is that then they tell you the luggage will be loaded on next flight, arrive at night, but will not deliver it until after 3PM on next day. This is flying business class. Swiss begins to feel like a low cost"

Ulemper: "2 hour delay due to a morning delay at Barcelona, although that seemed odd. The delay was known early that morning. Flight from Barcelona to Zurich doesn't take long. Seems they could have rerouted, or at least sent an email or some notification. Also, the boarding staff at Zurich is rude and random about whom they let onboard with larger luggage or not. They held some people but not others. Middle seats have metal polls, making legroom awkward."

Fordele: "i got a free upgrade to Business Class... which was super awesome! everything about it was great! the regular Economy Class i had on the way there was perfectly good as well. but Business Class was just the best all around."
Ulemper: "the ridiculous checking-in / boarding process. seems like showing my passport like once or twice would work. it did on my way there. for some reason it was needed like 17,000 times with ridiculously understaffed lines needing to service several hundred people on the way back. absurd."

Ulemper: "The flight is long. It will be good to have an area in the plane for some physical exercises. Sitting motionless during long time is not healthy for everybody."
Ulemper: "The handle of the pull-stick that slides into the suitcase was broken off with the pull-stick sticking out of the TUMI suitcase. Used a pen point to release it and get it back into the suitcase. No handle so it was impossible to drag the suitcase. The ground personnel representing Swiss Air at the Boston Baggage carousel was a novice, had never filled out a baggage claim form before. Told me they would phone me. I am a bit skeptical about this claim. Not sure if it was Swiss Air of the local ground personnel who damaged the suitcase."
Ulemper: "The boarding process at Zurich airport was a mess. There was no communication at the gate to tell passengers what to do or where to stand"
Fordele: "Crew was great, polite and pleasant. This is the only good thing about the flight."
Ulemper: "The agent at the check-in had no clue what he was doing. He had to ask his neighboring agents a dozen questions to check us in (4 passengers, 3 bags and 2 car seats). On top of that, his whole demeanor was condescending, treating us as if we had never flown an airplane before. We are big are traveling light, so we had 2 small suitcases, small enough that we never have to check them in for the US domestic flights. I asked the check-in agent if the small ones were needed to be checked in or if they could be taken as carry-ons. He made a big deal that they were too big and had to be checked in. But when we boarded the plane, we saw that about a quarter of the carry-on bags in the plane were as big as our small suitcases! We were in row 30+. The leg room was the narrowest I have had in all international flights I flew in. Having longer than average legs, it was pure torture for the duration of the overnight flight. The best part of the dinner they served was the croissant - that should give you an idea. I don't think I would voluntarily choose Swiss Air again."

First time I've ever had an unpleasant experience with Delta."

Ulemper: "Boarding was slow and the interviewers were disrespectful. Also I was upgraded last minute and I could never understand the system by which upgrades to first class are granted. Just because I used my points to buy the flight I wasn’t eligible for an upgrade to the one seat left in first class even though the flight is full and I am the first one on comfort+ upgrade list and there was no one on delta one upgrade list."

Ulemper: "Impossible to figure out what to do in Toronto at Canadian Customs. You move from secure to unsecure then back to secure. It’s a mess and nobody tells you what to do or where to go. Picture process took 4 times. Nobody tells you that you have to transfer your own bags from Delta to West Jet. I even asked in a Toronto and they said no and nobody in Atlanta told me to collect my bags. So bags never made it until the next AM. The West Jet rep was very good and located the bags and they were delivered as promised. You should provide 3 page detailed instructions on how to handle Toronto. I am a seasoned traveler by the way. I’ve never seen anything worse. I could go on and on."

Fordele: "The flight attendant named Steven went so far beyond the call. He was attentive, he fixed our video system when no one else could and when he learned we were celebrating an anniversary he brought us a present. He was awesome!"

Men så var flyet til Detroit forsinket, og køen i immigration var så lang at det ikke kunne lade sig gøre at nå flyet til Austin. Nu sidder vi så og venter på det næste fly til Austin, og er meget trætte. 2 ombookninger på samme rejse - det har jeg dog alligevel aldrig oplevet før!!!"

Ulemper: "Not a fan of having "final boarding call" announced to run to the gate, only to sit on the plane at the gate for 30 min because of a scheduled delay at my destination. I know the flight wasn't very full, but that cost me an opportunity to eat dinner. I had to cancel a fast food order because I thought I'd miss my flight!"
Fordele: "That a delta plane actually had seat back video screens- First delta flight ever that I've been on that did. But every ones screen froze up just over an hour into the flight."
Ulemper: "Even though the Atlanta to Toronto arrived 'early' I had barely 20 minutes to get to the other plane- I would not have made it with out the amazing staff of weather and the Toronto airport. I use a wheelchair and even zipping through as fast as I could I was 15 minutes late arriving at the gate. I booked this flight thinking I had at least and hour and a bit between flights. Thankfully others on my flight were also late so the Ottawa bound plane did not leave on time"

Ulemper: "Flight from Copanhagen to Istanbul was delayed for an hour...computer malfunction was the reason. I was a little bit stressed because I had a connecting flight to Manila, was afraid i wouldn't make it. And also, no gate assignment yet for Istanbul to Manila. Since it was my first time to travel via Turkish Airline, not familiar with Istanbul airport."
Fordele: "The friendliness and the ease of flying alone."
Ulemper: "Had a layover in Toronto. From Toronto we flew to Istanbul and then Venice. While waiting in line to board in Toronto, I was told my carry-on luggage was too big and needed to be put under. I asked MULTIPLE times where my luggage would be- either Istanbul or Venice (final destination) and EVERY time I asked, I was told my luggage would be waiting for me in Venice. Once we arrived in Istanbul I asked AGAIN if my carry-on luggage was here or if it would be in Venice and I was told it would be in Venice. Once we arrived in Venice, my luggage was nowhere to be found. The lost luggage crew (and 90% of the people in Venice) were completely rude and acted like we were a huge inconvenience for them. (I've heard that many Europeans cannot stand Americans, but we were not being rude or obnoxious at all to anyone- we just wanted a quiet, romantic vacation.) So safe to say that it was an extremely rough start. We were in Venice for the Glass Art Society Conference in Murano and due to my luggage being lost, had missed the first day and a half, therefore wasting hundreds of dollars. Luckily my boyfriend's phone worked in order to spend our first two days of vacation (not to mention the amount of money spent on international calling costs) tracking down my luggage, but again dealt with completely rude people who barely helped us with any answers and even hung up on us multiple times (and I'd like to add that despite my frustration, I made sure that I was not speaking rudely one bit). The best answers we received were from the people at the Istanbul airport who told us that Venice received my luggage hours before I even called Istanbul- which I do not understand why the Venice airport did not tell me this because I spent all day speaking with them. Once I called back the Venice airport to confirm what the Istanbul airport told us, they said (once again rudely) that they called me on my phone but did not answer (which I already told them that my phone did not have any service and to call my boyfriend's phone number). So to sum up: I will never be flying to Venice ever again."

Ulemper: "They cancelled my returning flight WITHOUT me knowing and expecting me to pay for the penalty fee for misisng the first flight even tho I DID not cancel the returning flight which obviously I was gonna take. The staff was RUDE and INSENSITIVE. Qatar was better in overall customer service. Worst customer service from Turkish airline."
Fordele: "Turkish Airlines er normalt, som samlet pakke min favorit, men når indtjekning vælger at sætte 2 voksne mænd på sæder ved nødudgangen der kun er ca. 75% i størrelse af normle (små) sæder, så er 3½ time til Istanbul en lang sammenklemt oplevelse."

Ulemper: "The seat spacing on that flight was some of the tightest I have ever seen - worse than even most of the short-haul (Embraer) flights i have been on - barely manageable for 3.5 hours. Flight attendants were borderline rude and bossy, but they had to be, because the passengers were loud and unruly."

Ulemper: "Sitting next to many kids who were very noisy and messy. They completely trashed the bathrooms which did not make it fun for me to use after them. This is just what I did not like- I understand this is no fault of the airlines or their staff. I am just more aware that several Turkish families may fly back and forth with their children and as a passenger, you may be seated close to them on the plane- just a thought."
Fordele: "Loved the service, comfort, entertainment, etc. All of this was very nice but it was also a short flight."
Fordele: "The crew were amazing.. very helpful and accommodating! The food was also 5 stars, and the entertainment was great! Enjoyed every minute of it!"
Ulemper: "Boarding was not really done according to groups A, B, etc, but it was only a small holdup.. really nothing much at all :) Comfort was great, although a little more leg room might have been nice. But again, not a really big deal!"

Fordele: "Turkish was the only airline I've flown that actually did not give the impression of nickle and diming but really made clear and concerted and well executed efforts to exceed expectations on all fronts, even food and drink. A huge accomplishment. They really put most of their competitors to shame."
Ulemper: "Only issue was that the videos kept freezing up, though they did remedy that problem. And I wish they had a foreign hub further to the west. Much as I loved the airline, I would only fly them again to Turkey or further east. It took me 22 hours door to door from Venice to Portland, Maine, when it shouldn't have been much more than half that. It's just too Far East to be a very practical option for visiting Western Europe from the US."

Fordele: "Everything from the greeting received upon entering the plane to the overall service for the entire flight was quite excellent and wonderful. A really nice perk was the kit given to all the passengers in economy class with slippers, toothpaste, toothbrush, lip cream, and eye mask - no airline does this anymore and it is to be commended. The food on both legs of my flight (New York to Istanbul to Nice and the return) was actually very good -- this was the second time I've flown on Turkish Airlines and I look forward to flying again."
Ulemper: "They just fly without waiting us We arrived hour and half before the flight, and they diecied to close the check in, Choce any other flying compeny but them!!!"

Ulemper: "2 hours on the tarmac delayed with no explanation. Uncomfortable seats, no leg room. Poor management of seating, there was enough empty seats to have groups together but they were split up. Drinks served from a communal bottle in a polystyrene cup."

Ulemper: "The plane was very uncomfortable. The seats were small, you felt on top of the person next to you, and there was no leg room. I am a pretty small person- I can't image how uncomfortable all of the taller passengers must have been."

Ulemper: "I paid €60 extra to sit in the emergency door seat to get more leg room but once.i was in the plane learned for more leg room I accepted a smaller seat next to a bathroom and no entertainment. I could not store my belongings near me. No power outlet to charge my devices for my own entertainment on a 7 hour flight. Dealing with constant traffic for the bathroom. I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

Fordele: "Only thing we liked was the fact that we were able to get onto our flight at all..."
Ulemper: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Ulemper: "The Guy who had an accident when boarding causing a delay. Also I didn’t like the wait fir checking as passengers with children went before business class and should be after."
Fordele: "Professional, welcoming and very friendly crew, well-maintained aircraft, comfortable seat and good food. Keep up the good work, KLM."

Fordele: "The staff at the front desk for the check-in were extremely helpful. I had a complicated issue with my luggage and they helped me to sort it out in the best possible way. Amazing service! Furthermore, the entertainment on board is great! Nice movies, nice food, friendly flight attendants, etc. They even offered me a second sandwich =)! I truly loved my experience with KLM."

Ulemper: "That I was forced to check my baggage. I never received a chain ticket for my luggage. The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster."
Ulemper: "They didn’t let us board the plane. Allegedly the plane was changed and make us travel by train!! They offered us a compensation but we haven’t heard from them yet. Not good experience at all."

Ulemper: "At Amsterdam we were told that our checkin luggage wouldn't be at Sydney!! Some low fat meals were terrible!"

There were plent of seats on this flight that had extended legroom. A bit of a mystery, why Westjet elected to put usin the last seats on the plane?"

Ulemper: "They couldn't find my name and I have to run around in the airport. I almost missed the flight, even though I was over 2 hours earlier."
Fordele: "Crew was fantastic and with an exceptional service. Food was really good."
Ulemper: "Maybe the seats coudl be a little bit wider"

Ulemper: "Flight was not on time so I didn’t make the rest of the flights. And tbd new airline lost my luggage."

Fordele: "On time, best connection for me, earning miles on my program. I booked based on time and cost, didn't even pay attention to what airline."
Ulemper: "No food, plane felt pretty old and not so clean. Smaller seats than the other flights I had with Lufthansa. Otherwise, it was fine. I had a pretty bad earache on that particular flight, so I liked it less than I might have otherwise. Something didn't feel right, pressure wrong or something."
Fordele: "Excellent on all measures. I will definitely try to fly Austrian Air again!"

Fordele: "The Swiss Air staff provided water and nice sandwiches for us while we stood in line for hours and put us up in a very nice hotel for the night."
Ulemper: "My first flight with Austrain Airlines was 2 hours late in leaving, partly because they mixed our baggage up and had to have each of us leave the airplane to identify our baggage before getting back on again. Because of this, I missed my connecting flight in Zurich. Apparently hundreds of other passengers were in a similar situation, because I spent the next 6.5 hours standing in line to getting my new itinerary and hotel vouchers."
Fordele: "Very easy and smooth flight. We landed 25 min earlier. Austrian Airlines are my favorite."
Fordele: "Polite crew. The food was much better that on any airline these days. The boarding process was organized fine."
Ulemper: "As on any airline these days the leg space in economy class is very limited. The movie selection was OK but not great."
Fordele: "I'm so happy I did not book Austrian Airlines for the way back to Zurich."
Ulemper: "My checked in baggage did not arrive with me, the staff told me it'll arrive the same day in the evening but it did not and nobody informed me, I only found out after calling them 5 times (which 2 times they hung up on me after putting me on hold). My bag only arrived almost 35 hours after i already landed Hong Kong, without being able to tell me when exactly and made me sit and wait for them to deliver it at mid-night."

Ulemper: "no complaints whatsoever. this was my best flight to vienna- or to europe."
Fordele: "After flight to Vienna was cancelled, we were put on a flight to Frankfurt instead."
Ulemper: "Kayak sent me an email at 5:16am for an 8:15 am flight titled, "Austrian Airlines flight #704 from PRG on time". It was in fact cancelled. Unfortunately we missed the connection for the flight to Newark, which we were expressly told would be held for us... they shut the door 30 seconds before we arrived, with the plane still at the gate. Had to then go to the only counter in the terminal to see if we could get on standby. Finally got on a flight to JFK instead at 5:15pm."
Fordele: "That it is over"
Ulemper: "Check-in to Canada not possible when passengers have third country passport and Canadian residence card. A combination, although very common, proofed to difficult for AUA personnel. Because of check-in delays lousy seats and miserable overall experience."
Fordele: "Flight smoothness, service, friendliness, pilot experience, stewardesses (except for one), food, delicious."
Ulemper: "All flight attendants were great except for one tall with very short blonde hair. What a poor attitude! She really ruined my trip. There was not an exchange with her that was friendly and agreeable. When serving drinks a second time, she asked me what would I like to drink and I answered: What do you have? I had not asked the first time drinks were served since I knew I wanted orange juice. he second time, and not wanted to drink the same, I asked: what do you have? and her answer was: "Same as before". I had to let her know I had not asked before and then she proceeded to tell me the different drinks and finally added: My colleague will take care of you. She did not want to serve me. The first incident went I tried to use the bathroom in the back of the plane, she would tell people: "don"t use that one, I need that bathroom for......." ( not sure for what but her tone was so rude,that people walked to the other bathroom embarrassed). All I can say is that everything else was great, including the friendliness of all other crew, but that one ruined the experience. A third time I got up to walk to the bathroom and the seatbelt sign was on, but so it had been for a long time. She prompted me to go back to my seat. All others seem to do their job without been rude, Not sure why this one couldn't. Job stress? Not the passenger's problem. Besides that and the poor movie choices, everything else was great. I think the flight was delayed but to that point everything was going so smooth, I didn't even notice. I will fly Austrian again, and would love to visit Vienna. Please advise how to add the miles of my trip to my account. I booked in Kayak, left to Ohio from Miami running from hurricane Irma, my return from Ohio to Miami was cancelled and I had to embark on that long plan10 day trip without even returning home to Miami to pack. I totally forgot about putting the miles on my account on either ticket counter."

Ulemper: "I could not pay for check-in baggages when I bough 4 tickets for 4 passengers. So I called the airline customer service, and they told me that the first check-in baggage is free. However, when we boarded the airplane on 9/5/2016, we were charged 30 Euros for each bag, a total of 120 Euros for 4 checked in bags of 4 passengers. This is unfair, and I would like it to be corrected if possible. Thanks."
