Everything about the purchase, check in, boarding, the service, and the food was outstanding. We will absolutely fly Swiss Airlines again. There is one caveat. I kindly request the seat numbered 31K be inspected for its apparent ability to “over-recline” as my husband sat right behind in seat 32K and we quite smashed in. The woman in front of us acknowledged the dramatic lean back and tried to adjust, only to eventually keep sliding back further. Eventually my husband and I switched seats since he is 6’2” tall and I’m only 5’8” tall. We feel strongly the seat 31K needs to be tightened to negate excessive lean back. thank you!

Flight from Copenhagen was late, we didn’t make our connection in Zurich . airline new 3 hours ahead about our late arrival and did nothing. We stood in the line for 6 hours in Zurich to rebook a flight, until we were told that no more hotels available and no flights could be rebooked until morning. We stayed in the airport by the transferring desk and still are waiting for our rebooking it’s 5:00 am now.

The food was very good, , The two meals that comes with one's Ticket still also comes with complimentary beverage service .... and even a warm moist towel is offered towards the end of the flight ... not bad for a seat in coach ...."

The seats are tight but I was in the economy plus section so I thought she should have let me recline instead of physically moving my seat upright. And for someone who cared so much about the seat at dinner no one cared about me the rest of the flight. I slept through breakfast and no one left me a tray even. Plus, I had my seat back the rest of the flight including landing which I didn't realize. Isn't it their job to ensure our seats are in upright positions in case we forget or don't realize? Just a very blasé crew."

I wish we had been given an option with the calzones - I don't like red peppers or tomatoes, and was not offered another option."
All good. Boarding was on time and everything was well organized. The flight was on time so overall I had a good experience.
I will never use Kayak again as long as you have a partnership with Chatdeal. They’re crooks. The Customer service with Chatdeal (that you do business with) is BAD. Non-existent. Automated to redirect the customer back to the airline, when they KNOW that customers who buy a ticket with Kayak, CANNOT make any changes with the airline directly. Imagine aircraft failure causing loss of connecting flight overseas. Passing the buck is BAD; and very juvenile. Gave excuses and NO solution.

I liked absolutely nothing about this. The worst airline I have ever dealt with. We missed our flight. As we were boarding the flight (we arrived well in advance) the flight attendant demanded a negative covid test. We were asked for vaccine cards at checkin, never a negative covid test. They asked us to rebook the flight, thus we missed our flight, had to book a hotel, all of our luggage was going straight to Miami so we have no change of clothes. An absolute nightmare. Next, I stood in line for OVER 2 hours to get on the next flight. They gave no apology or explanation as to the 2 hr wait, nor why we weren’t informed of the negative COVID test in advance. They then recommended a covid testing center in the airport that charged 169 euro a person. I refused and found another less expensive yet approved center. I will NEVER use this airline again, I will never recommend it and I will never come back to Germany. The entire Frankfort airport staff was wretched. Awful experience.

Ulemper: "The seating on this aircraft is inadequate for a long flights. Tall people really suffer due to seat size and spacing. There was a 6"6" man of median weight for his height who was in the middle seat next to me and he could barely fit into his seat. It was not his fault, rather the unrealistic expectation that airline seats actually fit today's customer. Not only is there not enough leg room, but the width of the seat leaves no room for arms or shoulders. No one should have to ride 7-plus hours touching the shoulders of the passenger next to them! I used to prefer to fly on Lufthansa because their seating was more comfortable than other carriers, but I will try another airline next time."

Ulemper: "Once I got in I was given a middle seat, which I would not have chosen had I been able to check in prior for this flight. After this we were given great service until half way through the flight when I was becoming quite thirsty and kept trying to signal the flight attendant based on my help button, but no one came, so I had to stop a flight attendant that was passing so I could ask for some water to drink. Overall, the flight was OK, even though I felt a little crammed in my seat and the need to fish for a flight attendant just to get water was a hassle."

Ulemper: "SAS like other airlines gives you a chance to bid on a nicer seat. If the offer is accepted, your card is charged the amount you bid and you are upgraded. If your offer is not accepted, you keep your seat and are not charged for bidding. I placed a bid for a nicer seat and was informed the day before the flight that my bid was rejected. But when the plane was boarding, I went to the man at the desk and asked if the plane was full. He informed me that it was not, and that I could pay roughly $300 for economy plus, or $1000 for business class. Online, I was ALLOWED to bid $200 for the economy plus seat. If they are going to reject this offer and then have the seat fly empty, they are a bunch of dicks. They had a chance for me to be a happier customer and to make more money. Now they lost both. What was also terrible is that when I family with an infant was moved up a few seats, I suggested to the lady next to me who wanted the newly vacant aisle seat that she ask the flight attendant for it. The flight attendant said it was fine. As the lady sitting next to me went to her her new seat, and old man from a few rows up took it. Another flight attendant had promised it to him. So, now the two of us are crammed, she's pissed that the seat she said she could have she couldn't, and I'm there like "My god, they wouldn't even take my money to let me have a nicer, EMPTY, seat." Poor communication, poorly run. Try another airline."

Ulemper: "Men hvorfor annoncerer man at flyet skal board 1 time inden det sker, så passagererne kommer til at stå i kø unødig lang tid. Flyveren var 1 time forsinket på Flightradar24 og også i virkeligheden!!! Det var ikke noget groundpersonalet ville ud med, så alle annonceringer gik efter tidsplanen - den originale med altså en times gap! SAS find jer en mere kvalificeret partner i Athen, da det er var helt hen i vejret og dårlig service."
Fordele: "Business class lounge excellent. People who helped with the wheelchair were excellent."
Ulemper: "In a wheelchair. Check in was terrible and rude. The fact that SAS did not allow us to bring my electric chair directly to the gate was absurd (only airline in the world that did that). The fact that it was not at the gate when we arrived in Newark surprised even the SAS Gate agents. Had to go to baggage and collect it in oversize baggage. Will not fly SAS again until that policy has changed."

And i have never seen any airline serve pork/ ham because of different believes people have, but SAS service you pork on an international 8 hours flight ! This is first time and last time I’m gonna fly with SAS. I always fly with KLM , perfect in everything and anyway. NO MORE SAS FOR ME !"

Fordele: "Because of bad weather at the Faroe Islands, the aircraft made a missed approach (go-around) on the first attempt to land. The weather had improved sufficiently to make it in on the second attempt. The pilot and the cabin crew were excellent in keeping everyone informed, and telling us the status of the weather and the likelihood of getting in. The pilot was outstanding in his communication with the passengers and the cabin crew were great in re-assuring passengers after the missed approach. The flight crew handled the difficult weather conditions very well."
Ulemper: "When trying to board in Copenhagen there were some mishaps, but these were mainly caused by people ignoring signs along the way. They did not offer any complimentary snacks at all. Only one drink"
Fordele: "Personalet var sådan set op og festede meget over at en kollega havde sidste tur inden pension. Desværre holdt de den kommende pensionist på business, så hvem det var der blev klappet af er stadig et myserium. Men hyggeligt at være med kabine personalet på arbejde"
Ulemper: "Gamle reservefly, hvor der mangler både det ene og det andet samt en 10 år forældet komfort. Når der sættes reservefly ind af væsentligt lavere kvalitet end den vare, som man forventet køb, så bude der være en eller anden form for kompensation. Forøvrigt glad for jeg ikke havde indløst business på denne tur da det i grunden havde været at betalte dobbelt for forventelig komfort på en moderne SAS Plus."
Ulemper: "Even though it was clear from my reservation that checked baggage was not included in the initial price, there were no clear links in kayak/vayama or SAS to prepay baggage, and the price is double if you pay at the airport."

Fordele: "At least on long-haul flights SAS Plus is quite nice, much closer to business class service than your usual premium economy offering. Real silverware, good drinks, pretty good food, plenty of space and a nice blanket and pillow. The lounge in Copenhagen is quite nice too."

Fordele: "Air Canada you suck. Told us that our flight wouldn't leave before we boarded as the computer system was down country wide. We still stood in like for an hour and hey could have manually checked us in as they did others. We were promised no planes would leave and when we got to the gate our plane was pulling away leaving 10 of us to scramble to find another flight. Customer service argued with me saying no flights were going to Ottawa and my Kayak app told me otherwise. Thanks for making my flight home for a funeral that much more stressful and having my family wait 4 hours risking all of our lives with freezing rain drive home."

Ulemper: "Flight attendants could be more aware of his/her surroundings. For example, I was either stepped on (as a result, being woken up) or my backpack was stepped on several times when an attendant was walking down the aisle, and neither of those things were sticking out into the aisle. This has rarely happened to me on trans-Pacific flights (more crowded, longer flights) so I can only attribute it to the carelessness of the attendants and/or the aisle width but since I think aisle width follows international standards it's more likely the former."
