Ulemper: "Our grievance is with ground crew at BEY airport and AMM. 1 piece of lugagge was left in AMM though it was checked connecting from our previous flight. Upon arrival we were told they would contact us. After a long back and forth as we did not have a local number, they tried to dismiss us by saying someone would whatsapp us to let us know when the luggge has arrived. SPOILER ALERT: they never did. We insisted on finding out more and after being pressed they admitted they had received a note from AMM airport that the piece of luggage would arrive in the next flight (5 hours later). We returned later on and found we needed a special permit at BEY airport, only the person on the piece of luggage was allowed back in. Upon receiving the permit, staff continued to press for a name of who confirmed the luggage was there, we told them they had confirmed earlier. I was allowed inside and found the piece of luggage still on the belt though the flight had landed 3 hours earlier and the carousel was being used for another flight. Apparently they don’t bother to check or act on the messages until the end of the day. Finally, we had to argue to be compensated and received $30 USD for our troubles even though they should have offered this as standard practice."

Though it might be the most expensive usd/mile flown. not sure what mea's problem is."

Ulemper: "Flight from Istanbul to Delhi was nightmare. It was like a local flight. Nothing called as comfort was there. I had to pay my own $ for alcohol and some snacks and 1 extra burger."
Ulemper: "No one came with drink carts until halfway through the flight. I was very hungry, never offered food. Boarding was late but no communication from staff."
Fordele: "Food and crew from SFO to Istanbul were the best. I couldn’t have asked for better. However , arriving in Istanbul the service severely deteriorated. Had to wait a long time for a wheelchair and then was just dropped off at the gate. When I asked for assistance down the jetway I was told “it’s just a short walk”. All of the business class people gathered in a group and charged when the door opened. I was afraid but walked down"
Ulemper: "No assistance at Istanbul airport turned my opinion of Turkish airlines. The is not my first bad experience at Istanbul with wheelchair service but thought it would be better since I flew business class this time. Movies are old and need to be updated"
Ulemper: "Our name wasn’t on the plane first ! After a while our names showed up than the plane left 25 minutes earlier and we were stuck in the airport and no one try to help they just informed us after 4 hours that we need to pay 600$ penalty!"

Ulemper: "The flight I booked out was later than my return. It was 8:30 at night not in the morning and the site did not flag it for me. So I showed up at the airport and had to buy another ticket at the very last minute. Never used the one I bought through kayak.luckily Turkish air made it happen or I would have missed my meeting."
Ulemper: "When my first flight was late, Turkish air took 5 hours to rebook me. Two people forgot that they were helping me and when I asked why it was taking so long, they had to start over. One woman didn't even look at me, she was just on her phone playing a game. Every step of the process they asked me how I could have missed the connection....it landed 20 min before the next one took off!!!"

Ulemper: "Flight from Copanhagen to Istanbul was delayed for an hour...computer malfunction was the reason. I was a little bit stressed because I had a connecting flight to Manila, was afraid i wouldn't make it. And also, no gate assignment yet for Istanbul to Manila. Since it was my first time to travel via Turkish Airline, not familiar with Istanbul airport."

Ulemper: "I had to take flight from San Juan to JFK on Jet Blue seperate ticket that supposed to leave san juan 5:26 am and get to JFK at 9:18 am , Jet Blue got delayed 5 houres due to the weather , when i got to JFK i went to the counter of Turkish Airlines to re book on another flight , i was attended by Indian look manager , he was very very very nasty with me and he told that the Turkish Airlines had cancelled my ticket and his comment to me ( you boughtyour ticket socheap there fore you need to pay $1650 dollar for new ticket and there is not gurranted i will be takig the next scheduled flight and i have to waite for thenextday ) he was very nastuy, so i went to Emirates Airlines and i bought a new tickets for $1475 dollar and ileft JFKwithen twohours , now when i want to retune from Lebnon i caled Turkish Airkines and they had informed that they cancelled my return ticktes as well , when the plane was delayed in san juan Puerto Rico Jet Blue manager in San Juan call Turkish Airlines to exolaine the situatuion and the agent had confirmed that i will be rebbok on another flight. I lst my ticket with Turkish and i will never recommend this Airline to no one from now on. I,m asking if i can use the monry that i had paid if i can rebook future flight , please do something i lost my tickets with Turkish and i had to pay $1475 dollar on Emirates , NO one seems to care .I have all the proof thatJet Blue gave me the boarding pass on Turkish after the station manager in San Juan called Turkish and they authorized him to print my boarding pass ( i have it all) unfortunatly Turkish refused to helo. Ulemper: "i had asked for an aisle seat and ended up on seat 7C which is the one that is next to the seat where the stewardess sits down. I wouldn't have minded at all but my seat and the one next to it didnt recline anywhere near as much as every other seat in the whole airplane. It was really uncomfortable for me and the person who was seating next to me. Hopefully this will be the last time i get stuck in that kind of seat."

Fordele: "Turkish staff places the comfort and convenience of their passengers high on their priorities. Crew is friendly and efficient, very helpful. I preferred it over my Emirates experience"
Fordele: "Turkish Air has some of the best flight attendants in the business. The food is essentially gourmet (hot wrap, in this case), and the pilots are highly skilled."
Ulemper: "This is not a Turkish Airlines issue, per se, but an airport problem. Ataturk is very spread out and there are far more planes than gates. More often than not, the plane parks way out in the back 40, and shuttle buses take you to a processing point. If you have less than a 2 Hr layover, and you're switching between Domestic and International flights, you will need to walk at top speeds, or run. Passport Control and multiple security checkpoints could easily cause you to miss your flight."

Ulemper: "Had to cancel due tp safety situation in Turkey (bombings, Dept of State warning). I had flight insurance but Kayak did not refund a dime."
Fordele: "I love how there is wifi on the long flights,great movies,food taste so good and the crew is so nice and helpful. I've tried Turkish Airline few years ago and since then I haven't changed my airline and I book with them to all my family :)"
Ulemper: "I always fly with my dog and he goes with me down by my feet so this could always be uncomfortable cause it's tight and not much place so I wish they give a little better seat for people who travel with their pets on board."

Ulemper: "I was very disappointed that I couldn’t bring water through the gate security in Cairo to jfk. There was nowhere to purchase water after the gate so I felt dehydrated and inconvenienced by having to ask for water so many times."
Fordele: "The flights were very good, friendly and professional. Planes were clean and seems to be well maintained for the passengers"
Ulemper: "Only issue I had was a 5 hour layover in Cairo, not long enough to explore so just sitting in the airport, and there is no wifi available in the airport, even at Starbucks nothing. Apparently an airport rule, but it sucks with a long layover."

Ulemper: "1 1/2 hour delay out of EBB meant missing the connecting flight -- not uncommon apparently. No one was available at the transfer desk in Cairo for over an hour. The alternative through Rome & onwards put us into Munich in late evening."

Fordele: "The aircraft was a fairly new 737-800 ,nice and clean interior . The passenger entertainment system was very nice with USB charging at every screen,with brightness and volume controls. Inflight service was beverages , followed by hot meal ( 2 choices Chix or Beef ) hot beverages post meal followed by another beverage service pre landing."
Ulemper: "Because the Egyptians like it hot. The cabin temperature was really hot and the leather seats didn't help . It seemed like they did not have all the air pacts on .Very little airflow at the individual air vents. They prepare the cabin for landing way to early and you must have the window shades up which is painful with the hot sun beating on you through the window ( safety card is only so big)"

Ulemper: "It took some effort to find the right check in window for the flight, and it involved a lot of walking around the airport. The selection of movies and tv shows was underwhelming. There was no room to sit in the business lounge."

Fordele: "We had a 10 hour lay-over in Cairo and EgyptAIr shuttled us to an excellent hotel and provided lunch and dinner - all for free. This was most excellent and so much more pleasant than sitting at the airport!"
Ulemper: "If EgyptAir would distribute a little English sheet how the steps are, where to get the passports back (at the EgyptAir Counter in the main hall at the airport), which lines to go to (we didn't officially immigrate, but still had to go through immigration upon return, which wasn't clear). Maybe a word on legal boundaries of the status in Egypt - EgyptAir had the passport, can we go to the pyramids or not - would be useful, too."

Ulemper: "Please note the wrong gate was included on our ticket and announced shortly before the flight so passengers had to run from half way across the airport. Then there were two flights announced for the same gate even though the Baghdad flight was over an hour later. Therefore the gate was jam packed and passengers flying to Amman were unable to access the gate. In all it was complete chaos easily avoided by making sure to correctly identify gates (or leave blank) on tickets and to announce the second flight AFTER the first flight concluded boarding!"

Fordele: "For a short hour flight, i say it was just fine, not really enough time for a movie or anything so it makes sense not to have a TV with every seat, and it is no big deal. i slept the whole way and didnt even realize we took off or landed. could be more comfortable but again i was able to sleep the whole way without a problem"

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed more than 1 hour. The gate lounge didn’t had enough chairs for all the passengers. They had any entertainment on board and they make you turn off your mobile phone for take off and landing even if you have airplane mode."

Ulemper: "The boarding process was a nightmare. The gate agents did not make an announcement. Thus, people crowded the area. The gate agents then decided who could board and who could not -- based on their seat assignment. Terrible."

Ulemper: "I took 4 flights with this airline. Each was at least an hour late in take offs and landings. Very unfriendly staff whether at the check-in or flight attendants. Incredibly uncomfortable seats (compared with same level seats with other airlines). They reminded me with outdoor vegetable and fruit markets where farmers and gypsies yell to sell their products; they charge for everything, offering nothing on a 4 hrs flight, not even water. Not sure if it is a language barrier, but they are very rude and impolite in English. I really wish there was a single good thing to say. Even the pilots are the worst i've seen. Very rough landing every single time"

Ulemper: "Almost on every other airline you can check using the self-check-in computers at the airport; on Pegasus you can't, which caused unnecessary queues at the check-in desks (both there and back)."
Fordele: "I'm actually surprised about the flight. The pilot was good and I think he was a pro. For a budget airline, Pegasus was good."
Ulemper: "We had only problems with the delayed luggages. The boarding was not on time but I don't think it's a big deal because we arrived almost as scheduled. No entertainment at all and comfort was not a priority but it's okay since it's a budget airline after all. But it would be better if they consider comfort of flyers even if it is a budget flight because flying is a serious thing and can cuase a lot of anxieties to begin with."

Ulemper: "I've never seen so many young children on a plane. There must have been one child for every one adult. Worst of all, their parents didn't even attempt to make them behave themselves. And the crew just let the kids run up and down the aisles and climb on seats. What ever happened to "please remain seated with your seat belts fastened"? Additionally, when I checked in, I asked for a window seat, the agent nodded, and when I got on the plane I found I was stuck in a middle seat. It was the longest two hours of my life."

Ulemper: "The none sense of explaining why I cant go on the plane ... according to there website I should have 2 stamps from the lebaniese authority on my passport one for going in and one for going out which I gladly provide them with... the responsoable for the check in at Frankfurt Airport and according to him was communicating with "pegasus Airline" in Istanbul by WhatsApp and just kept saying "those can't fly today" the funny thing he was writing in german and refuse to give me there number so I can explain the situation now the main reason why i couldn't go on the plane because I wasn't once in my life in Turkei which makes none sense according to there website I contacted them with Emails and they answered me that I should have the 2 stamps if i want to fly from Instanboul to Beirut which I already have but the haven't notice that i didnt even got ob the plane at the 1st place .... the huge amount of nobe sense, stupidity, the lying that there is no Pegasus airline office ath the airport and the 0 responsibility for there actions can provide you guys with a picture of how they behave with the customers"
Ulemper: "my flight from Rome to Istanbul delayed 1 hour so i missed my second flight to Athens and they asked me to stay at the airport till the next day waiting for free seat :( but i refused and i fighting with them .. then they found a free seat in the next flight"

Ulemper: "Bad customer support, unwillingness to correct an error in the first name appearing on one of the tickets. This forced us to cancel all 5 tickets and purchase tickets for a different airline at 4 times the cost."
Ulemper: "Problem communicating with counter crew who spoke none to little of English and probably because of me complainig about that they might have decided not to send one of my baggages. I finally retrieved it in different airport in three days."
Fordele: "quick boarding at Sabiha Airport. At the airport, the free Wi-Fi connection didn't worked."
Ulemper: "120 Euros for 10 kilos over in checked baggage. I have never in my life been charged such a fee with any other airline. With that kind of money, I could have flown a much better airline, with working AC, complimentary WATER, and a plane that at least doesn't smell like stale, sweaty nastiness. Pegasus is a joke and will never see a penny from me again. Not to mention that you have to take a bus to the airports from the plane!!! All in all, you will get treated like a very low class citizen on this airline."
Ulemper: "Miserable experience. This was flight was diverted to Kuwait due to weather. We were told we would be taking off a few hours later. Then we were told that we would be given a hotel room for the night in Kuwait. In the end, we all just waited around in the Kuwait airport for hours without any assistance from any airline representatives. I wound up having to book another flight, as the Pegasus delay was 13 hours (even though other flights were departing to Bahrain much earlier)."

Ulemper: "I am guessing this company does clean their aircraft only once in a while. In both of my flights between Istanbul and Amsterdam, the airplane was not cleaned off of the previous flight's trash. When I was seated in my first flight to Amsterdam, my tray had a lot of stains of food and drinks. Not a pleasant sight! In my flight back to Istanbul, I had to travel looking at a former passenger's waste, such as a used napkin tissue, stuck to the handle of the seat, and a chocolate package. I also have to say that the sinks of the bathrooms do not drain properly, so you, actually, cannot leave the place clean for the next person. All in all, this company definitely needs to work on the cleanliness of their aircraft. Thank you!"

Ulemper: "A week before my flight, the flight changed and I was emailed. It had me arriving in Istanbul 2 hours later. They essentially changed my flight to another flight. And then Pegasus Plus frequent flyer never recognizes my PNR number when I try to get credit for my flights. I have flown 6 segments with them and none of the flights are recognized. When I try to do live chat, it only accept Turkish language. I am very disappointed in this airline's pre and post flight services."

Ulemper: "How could you ask about entertainment when there is nothing to intertain in these planes! No screens, expensive and bad food, even the menue and magazines were not available on half of the seats, not to mention the worst and smallest seat i have ever been in, although i travel on many other economic airlines! There is nothing but poor, bad and boring flights. The sad thing is that i payed too much for this flight. Oh i forgot, it's also delayed and we wait for half an hour and then, they came with only one bus to take all the people to plane whwn there are many people who can't hold themselves in that crowded bus!"

Ulemper: "Oh, boy. First, this flight was super late and they wouldn't admit it. I went to the gate at boarding time, and the staff rudely pushed me away, saying I misunderstood the gate number. I double checked, and no, that was indeed the right gate. This lasted until the airport announced the final boarding call for my flight, and people started lining up.Then the staff had to admit that this was the right gate and the plane was just late. We didn't start boarding until way after the announced time (which they didn't bother to update on the screen until it passed. Extraordinarily disorganized. Second, the flight crew was loud and kept the lights turned way up on an overnight flight. Everyone around me was trying to sleep, and they were woken up by the crew yelling "DO YOU WANT COFFEE?" 5 rows away. Even when they finally dimmed the lights 3 hours into the flight, they kept the Tv's on, so the flashing advertisements prevented me from sleeping restfully. Third, you have to pay for coffee and tea. Who does this? They also begin their flight with loud, obnoxious music that jolts everyone awake (see above for this being an overnight flight). Overall, only choose this airline if you're okay with being kept forcibly awake and you don't mind the flight being late. Oh, and you have 2 euros to pay for simple tea."

Fordele: "They charged us a bundle for food paid in advance that never showed up. The flight attendants spoke almost no english. All they could do was offer to sell it to us again. We tried, but there credit card machine was not taking any of our cards, they wanted cash, we didn't give it to them."
Ulemper: "I think this airline is running some kind of scam. Always asking customers for more money, they took my credit card at the airport when I was complaining about my first flight being screwed up and unbeknownst to me charged more money when yhey were claiming they wanted it for verification purposes."

Ulemper: "The seats are cramped on Pegasus flights and you have to pay for everything, including something to drink."

Ulemper: "The organization at the airport was a complete mess. I could barely understand the crew member's language skills. To be fair I don't speak a lick of Turkish but I made my best efforts to try and be attentive and still could not understand. Thank God I didn't check any luggage because who knows if it would have reached my connecting flight."
