Ulemper: "The TVs in economy class weren’t working and it was an 8 hour flight so it would have been nice to have some entertainment during that time"

Ulemper: "AC was not turned on until flight was up in air. That means for 30 minutes passengers were sweating sitting in a suffocating cabin. Crew refused to give Green Tea, saying only available in business class Inflight screen size was very small ...5-6 inches only"

Ulemper: "Kayak has asked for my e-mail and phone number which I provided but never received any order confirmation. Finally it seemed that my flight was never booked. Unluckily Kayak did not forward my contact details to the other brookers in between and definitely not to Swiss. Never Kayak again."

Ulemper: "We didn’t make it to Venice due to delays because Boston wasn’t ready for a snowstorm."

Fordele: "Brand new plane and SUPER comfortable (even in coach!)."

Fordele: "Economy class had a bit wider seats. Included dinner, beverages, and breakfast plus snacks . Happy with Swiss Air."

Ulemper: "The seats in the economy cabin are cramped together. If the person in front of your leans back you are almost trapped in your seat. There is little leg room and the cushioning is not enough for a long distance flight. There is no boarding control. People just line up and get on the plane in any order."

Ulemper: "This was one of the most empty flights I’ve ever been on. With that, lots of room for carry on baggage. I fail to see why it was necessary at all. It delayed my journey when time was of the essence."

Fordele: "We called for seats 23 hours prior to flight. To our amazement we were assigned to an exit row."
Ulemper: "It was an easy 2.5 hrs. flight at which a small warm quiche was served. Nice surprise."

Ulemper: "The seating was almost unbearable. So small and cramped. Arm rest didn’t go all the way up so very hard to cuddle with my seat mate (my daughter). I couldn’t even put my arms by my side without pushing my seat neighbors off. Seat in front of me was in my lap. Hard to get out of seat to use restroom. Way to tight. Long flight from Boston to Zurich was so hard to bear. I understand making money...but this is ridiculous!!"

Fordele: "the food was delicious, the movie selection was great, the seats were comfortable, the plane was chilly but they supplied us all with nice warm blankets, and I prefer it be cold over hot on the plane any day."

Ulemper: "i didn't like leaving switzerland. but stockholm isn't so bad. gate agent can be a bit more careful when letting pre-boards on - too many people flying to scandinavia do not seem to respect boarding priority."

Ulemper: "Because there was no way for us to check in early or online and they did not send us an email directing us to do so, they put us on standby even though the flights were paid for months before. We couldn't sit together--they wouldn't even try, they let the computer do it randomly as we boarded. They put my son through ridiculous strip search security measures, and when my passport fell into to the steel bullet of a garbage can, they didn't help and my son and I figure out how to go through it to get my passport. They could not have been more unhelpful. Plus the food was terrible, and delays both in taking off and getting to the gate. I will NEVER fly Swiss Air again."

Ulemper: "No entertainment offered and the seats were cramped."

Fordele: "Tried hard but cannot recollect one thing that was better than average."
Ulemper: "Not even a smile from the purser and one other crew member on the Swedish leg. The captain hurriedly "explained", no one understood him, why we were so delayed, but he did not apologize! Zurich airport has no charging sockets! (Ancient) All of terminal A has not a single one! No one supervised the loading passengers not to interfere with those passing by. It was a complete mess. We took off 50 minutes late from Zurich, with no apparent reason. Worst in years for me. We sat in the plane for 30 minutes and were not offered even water. Big fail! (btw, I am unusually so critical)."

Ulemper: "Departed 20 minute late. The tv screen(one per 4 rows) was too small to see. I don't remember getting ear phones."

Ulemper: "entertainment and food options were poor and because of the long haul flight once we had a first round of service it was then self serve. I was in a window seat - cld not wake the people beside me and getting up to get water was difficult. Pushed the call button to be told that I cld get it myself!"

Ulemper: "Hi, my flight was delayed for more then 20 minutes and I had next connection flight in short period of time. Even that they now that I will lose next connection they didn't wanted to change my flight to previous flight and they DID had extra seat in a plane."

Ulemper: "Seats in Economy are too tight. There's no room to move, and if the person in front of you leans back, the seat is inches from your face. In an emergency, the instructions are to lean forward with your head on your knees. This maneuver is impossible."

Fordele: "The crew was very friendly, everything was on time and extremely efficient. I don't have kids but I did notice how great the flight attendants were with the kids around me. Great job! Already recommended SWISS to friends and family"

Ulemper: "No me gusto . porque quando compre las pasajes con ustedes por la pagina me decia q estaba incluydo 1 maleta de 23 kg y otra de mano 8 kg. por el precio total pagado y cuando llegue ñas mañetas no estavam incluydas y tuve que pagalas. Yo ley las condiciones de mi pasaje y me daba exactamente esto que tenia derecho a las maletas. Grande falla de ustedes. ya no comprare mas con su compania K"

Fordele: "Entertainment system. Flight crew was awesome. Always ready to help in any way."
Ulemper: "Just the seats were to close together coupled with small seats is at times uncomfortable. Even this is a reach however, I was pleased with Swiss being the first time flying with them."

Fordele: "Everything was great.... The food , crew was fantastic , nice friendly stuff ! Very happy with the flights"
Ulemper: "Well not really! I can only say negative things is the seats but is not Swiss is all airlines !!! Zero space for your legs"

Fordele: "Loved the food and wine. Very comfortable flight and the staff was wonderful"

Ulemper: "The handle of the pull-stick that slides into the suitcase was broken off with the pull-stick sticking out of the TUMI suitcase. Used a pen point to release it and get it back into the suitcase. No handle so it was impossible to drag the suitcase. The ground personnel representing Swiss Air at the Boston Baggage carousel was a novice, had never filled out a baggage claim form before. Told me they would phone me. I am a bit skeptical about this claim. Not sure if it was Swiss Air of the local ground personnel who damaged the suitcase."

Ulemper: "Notithing to dislike comes to mind."

Ulemper: "I tried to get on an earlier flight to travel with my husband and every person claimed they couldn't help me. I called the airline who said there were plenty of seats on the flight, but they told me I needed someone onsite to help me make the change. Not great customer service."

Ulemper: "Lufthansa burde presse lufthavnen i Frankfurt til at ge bemanding imsilkerhedskonteollen. Kl 6.10 i morges tog det 35 min i business køen og mindst 50 mini economy køen"

Fordele: "flyturen i sig selv var fin men var forsinket."
Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Ulemper: "Flight was delayed in Frankfurt due to technical issues. That was fixed, but ended up missing the flight to Minneapolis. Lufthansa provided vouchers to hotel and shuttle to the hotel (holiday inn express) and back to the airport. We stood out in the cold for 45 mins but the shuttle did not show up. Ended up taking Uber to the hotel only to find out their shuttle service does not start in the morning before 5:30 am. They booked me on a 6 am flight with 5:45 boarding time. The hotel scheduled a taxi to pick me up at 3:30 am to make back to the airport on time. I ended up spending $70 and I’m totally exhausted. I wished I just stayed at the airport. Not to mention the quality of the hotel accommodations is less than average. Very disappointed with how this whole situation was managed."

Fordele: "Everything was really good. Crew was helpful and provided excellent customer service. Food provided was good."
Ulemper: "The only thing that would have been better was cooler air in the cabin. I got very hot on both my flights to and from Frankfurt."

Fordele: "Kayak would not allow me to change the ticket - referred me to FlyUs. Horrible customer service. I needed to return on Sat Jun 15 not Sun Jun 16. Would not give refund (i agreed to that when buying) but would not refund the tax, which i feel legally they have to do."
Ulemper: "Won't be using FlyUs or Kayak again for future purchases. Will go to the airlines directly. Too much red tape and horrible customer service for me to do this anymore. I fly a lot and have over 20,000 miles with Kayak, but those days are over."

Ulemper: "The in-flight snack - choice of two disappointing sandwiches."

Ulemper: "While boarding and before starting the engines there was no AC. Temperature was unpleasantly hot"

Ulemper: "Never revived my checking email The cabin was very cold. I had to wear a jacket for the whole flight. With two blankets"

Fordele: "Friendly crew provided excellent service. Has live TV for sports. I was able to watch couple EPL soccer games and the NBA playoffs. It also has 3 live camera views from the mounted cameras outside. It was really cool."
Ulemper: "In economy class and in the middle. has no room to even straighten out my legs. Guess they followed American airlines' lead in adding more rows to squeeze in more customers. Too bad"

Ulemper: "Couldn't check in online and because I booked pretty late, didn't get the seat choice I wanted. I purchased the flight via the Lufthansa site, but then on check-in, I found out that the first segment was SAS, so neither the Lufthansa site nor the SAS site let me check in online."

Ulemper: "We were put on standby. We expected our names to be called for seat assignments but we didn’t expect we could just swipe our boarding pass and our seat assignment would show. It’s a nice feature but I didn’t like that it wasn’t clearly explained to us."

Fordele: "very good on-board service , good LH crew while checking in i got an upgrade to premium economy very good food ....quite surprised easy check-in , no problem with suitcase that was a bit overweight"
Ulemper: "arriving in toronto , arrival gate at pearson was blocked by another plane ...so despite being a few minutes early , arrival at the terminal was finally 20min later than scheduled"

Fordele: "Brand new plane, pleasant attentive staff. Delayed leaving but most of time made up. Since plane was new everything was clean and worked well *including audio, good movie selection too."

Fordele: "I have a servere hearing problem and was concerned (since we were late leaving Zurich for my changeover in Frankfurt), that I would be late because I can't hear any loudspeaker systems (either on planes or in airports). I felt that I could get easily lost between flights and not have time to get to the Frankfurt/Denver flight. I told this to the person at the gate in Zurich, and he immediately arranged for someone to meet me in Frankfurt and take me there. I was met by Maika in Frankfurt and she was just excellent--personable and efficient and really helpful. I'm sorry I couldn't remember the name of the person at the gate in Zurich. He was also great. I wouldn't have done this if I had had more time, but this really made my day (and my flight!) ! Thank you!"

Fordele: "lufthansa always on time, relatively comfortable economy seat with relatively enough leg room for a larger person. food was pretty good. no problems checking in. staff mostly friendly. the germans are efficient."

Fordele: "I do like the clean aircraft, and pretty precise service. Also it was on time , for comfort the pillow and the blanket was nice . Some airlines doesn’t give anything anymore! Which is awful."
Ulemper: "Just a small thing the lady who was serving and picking up the used cups said I have to finish the juice and after she can take it away. But I couldn’t finish because it was too sweet and I didn’t like the juice. So I had to get up and bring the cup to the back. That wasn’t nice. Also they at but flexible about giving choices. Only one kind of sandwich they had but I think there was one other kid also."

Ulemper: "There was no pillow on board and the flight was overnight."

Fordele: "They DID NOT let me aboard the airline!!! Austerian airline is the worst EVER, because they are not even helping me to get a credit to fly Monday to Israel. The of ticket counter at ORD were treating me as a dirt. And unwelcome. I was trying to reason with them, they did NOT want to help."
Ulemper: "It would have been better if back to back with priceline helped me out to get to another flight & they won’t even credit my ticket, so I LOST about $1200 & was excited for my vacation. They were unhelpful & they kept putting me untold & hanging up on me with their ticket agency on phone too."

Fordele: "It was better with the earache, plane felt cleaner, the crew was more friendly and attentive. Didn't feel as dark as the first flight."
Ulemper: "The Star Alliance flights aren't that cheap. Comparable price between Lufthansa, Swiss, SAS and Austrian. Lufthansa gives you food, and has friendly service. SAS gives you coffee and tea. On Austrian and Swiss I didn't get anything. For same price range and same alliance, that is a point I keep in mind. Now I mainly try to get onto Lufthansa flights (or Turkish Airlines which is my favorite). Even on Aegean, I got better food, and the magazine was better, plus there were some monitors to track the flight. Austrian feels cheaper than the others. That is the main point I didn't like."

Fordele: "On time, best connection for me, earning miles on my program. I booked based on time and cost, didn't even pay attention to what airline."
Ulemper: "No food, plane felt pretty old and not so clean. Smaller seats than the other flights I had with Lufthansa. Otherwise, it was fine. I had a pretty bad earache on that particular flight, so I liked it less than I might have otherwise. Something didn't feel right, pressure wrong or something."

Ulemper: "Missed the flight from Houston to Fankfurt and the airline canceled the whole round trip. I did not know I had to call the airline to let them know not the cancel my trip. I would've appreciated a notice of that."

Fordele: "Nothing! I ended up losing my plane ticket because of Austrian Airlines lack of empathy with me."
Ulemper: "First I lost my United Airlines flight because of security reasons. I checked in Guatemala but I was delayed at the Airport's security too long, it was beyond my control. Consequently I got to the boarding gate right when they were closing. Consequently I lost all my connections from then on. The United Airlines was very empathizing with me and my situation and they issued me other boarding passes at no cost. United Airlines suggested me to tell the Austrian Airlines about what happened and they were sure the Austrian Airlines would understand but they were wrong; no understanding on behalf of the Austrian Airlines."

Fordele: "Make sure your carry on luggage is less then 8 kg. Or you would have to check it at your own cost. The food is OK but the portion is very small. If you want a window or isle seat, it would’ve cost you 30 euro to reserve it. The crew is very nice. I guess because the air fare is very cheap, they need to do everything to make the extra cash."

Ulemper: "I have the 'Economy Class' on the tickets. At check-in at the airport we wrote "economy light" on the boarding pass and want to pay for the first baggage. I check it on the original receipt I received by e-mail, there is ECONOMY CLASS and 1st baggage free of charge, another for a fee. So I do not understand and for two tickets I have paid 2 x 30 €."

But not the case with Austrian The serving of it was fine. Restroom options are less than adequate too."

Fordele: "The B-767 is far superior to the B-777 in comfort; it is not so horribly crowded."
Ulemper: "Austrian check-in at VIE was a disaster. None of the machines could read my passport; and when you entered the data by alternative methods it STILL required a machine to read the passport--which it exactly what they were unable to do. Thus, it was a circular Catch 22. I went through six different lady agents working my way through the system, until they finally took my bag and let me go. They themselves said it was new to them and they did not fully grasp how it worked and they did not know why it did not accept me. SOFTWARE PEOPLE BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD."

Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Fordele: "Pumpkin soup instead of a heavy entree was welcome and tasty. Breakfast yogurt portion was generous, the granola less so. Accompaniments were good. Butter was not ice cold, thank goodness."
Ulemper: "Inbelievably chaotic boarding process for Kili to Dar leg. No boarding lanes so had to fight through the crowd. Was able to observe cleaning process at Dar stop, which was cursory and am sure there was no cleaning of seats of those who boarded at Kili."

Ulemper: "The seat I had with no seats in front of me was very small. Much smaller than the other economy seats because the tray table and video screen were in the armrests. Paid extra for the legroom by ended up losing it side to side. Really had to squeeze into the seat."

They didn't collect garbage before landing. Not only did we have to take our bags off the plane, we had to carry our garbage (drink cups/food served) to the front of the plane to throw out."

Ulemper: "Entertainment was dated and poor in function. Our bags were 99 dollars each and we’re both lost and didn’t arrive. I just filed a claim and got rude service saying I should have filed the claim at the airport baggage area but there was not anybody there to do the claim then he agent upstairs said they just spoke to them and they are there and I should have done it there. This was so rude and there is no way to get back into customs area. If we paid 200 for bags I expect them to arrive on time. I’m asking for a refund of the baggage fees."

Ulemper: "Amsterdam customs is the most disorganized I have ever seen. With the number of tourists entering the country you would think they would have done something about it. There were only 2 customs agents!! One for all passports and 1 for all passports. We were in the customs hall longer than we were in flight!"

Ulemper: "That I was forced to check my baggage. I never received a chain ticket for my luggage. The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster."

Ulemper: "Late Cabin extremely warm Full flight and centre seat means no room to relax or carry out work"

Fordele: "The cabin crew, the flight and communication and the cleanliness of the plane."
Ulemper: "It was really unclear which desk to use at Birmingham airport to check in. It was extremely stressful for a first time flier as I had no idea what to do - the desk location wasn't marked clearly and when no staff were there it wasn't clear that the desk was open."

Fordele: "The crew were lovely and welcoming. We was given snacks and drinks on the flight which was great. Take off was a bit delayed but boarding was smooth. Couldn't complain about the comfort as was only just over an hours flight."

Fordele: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Ulemper: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."

Ulemper: "Flight delayed, had to take two more flights and was a four hour trip turned into a 12 hour, 4 countries trip"

Fordele: "It was a short flight so it was O.K."
Ulemper: "Boarding was odd. Go to airport early and counters were not open, did on line check in so was able to avoid the self check in at airport. Also self check in luggage seems confusing with no ground crew to help. It didn't affect me but lots of confused passenger."

Ulemper: "Horrible. First, we lost a suitcase. It could happen but for two days they did nothing and only told us stories (so as not to use the word lies). Within a few hours (and thanks to airline assistance) we were able to locate the suitcase. Even then it took them two days to bring it to us, two precious days off our planned vacation (7 days) At the end of the shortened vacation, we got to the chek in, and told that since the ticket I had purchased form them two months earlier was too cheap ... and since the flight was Over booked, they would take me off the plane if all the passengers would arrive. It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"

Der var også en større flok amerikanske gæster som dog valgte at feste igennem på turen - da jeg vågnede var personalet godt trætte af alle passagerer og da jeg ville have lidt i pantryet var det pakket ned 2 timer før ankomst - sikkert for at lukke førnævnte fest - men det retfærdiggør vel ikke at de øvrige gæster også har indløst billet til business og den service der betales for."

Fordele: "Da vi først var kommet ombord på flyet gik tingene sin vante gang... ellers var der ikke meget hoved og hale på noget som helst."
Ulemper: "Men hvorfor annoncerer man at flyet skal board 1 time inden det sker, så passagererne kommer til at stå i kø unødig lang tid. Flyveren var 1 time forsinket på Flightradar24 og også i virkeligheden!!! Det var ikke noget groundpersonalet ville ud med, så alle annonceringer gik efter tidsplanen - den originale med altså en times gap! SAS find jer en mere kvalificeret partner i Athen, da det er var helt hen i vejret og dårlig service."

Fordele: "Business class lounge excellent. People who helped with the wheelchair were excellent."
Ulemper: "In a wheelchair. Check in was terrible and rude. The fact that SAS did not allow us to bring my electric chair directly to the gate was absurd (only airline in the world that did that). The fact that it was not at the gate when we arrived in Newark surprised even the SAS Gate agents. Had to go to baggage and collect it in oversize baggage. Will not fly SAS again until that policy has changed."

Ulemper: "When trying to board in Copenhagen there were some mishaps, but these were mainly caused by people ignoring signs along the way. They did not offer any complimentary snacks at all. Only one drink"

Fordele: "boarding is different and they were talking over pa announcements at heathrow so you could not hear what to do. you go through one ticket agent to the down stairs to another ticket agent. everyone knowing what to expect crowded around the second ticket agent and there because of that forget about boarding by row or zone you couldn't get throught the crowd. plus the second ticket agent was right next to the downstairs escalator so people coming late got on before us."

Fordele: "Personalet var sådan set op og festede meget over at en kollega havde sidste tur inden pension. Desværre holdt de den kommende pensionist på business, så hvem det var der blev klappet af er stadig et myserium. Men hyggeligt at være med kabine personalet på arbejde"
Ulemper: "Gamle reservefly, hvor der mangler både det ene og det andet samt en 10 år forældet komfort. Når der sættes reservefly ind af væsentligt lavere kvalitet end den vare, som man forventet køb, så bude der være en eller anden form for kompensation. Forøvrigt glad for jeg ikke havde indløst business på denne tur da det i grunden havde været at betalte dobbelt for forventelig komfort på en moderne SAS Plus."

Ulemper: "This is our third delay with this airline on this trip and all they will do is send you to their service center which in Copenhagen is located so far from the gates it's a joke. Once again they are doing their best to discourage any interaction with their customers."

Fordele: "On time and courtesy"

Fordele: "I was able to keep window open for the whole trip. Few others kept the window shade up."
Ulemper: "Loud engine sounds. I wore ear plugs but they were not enough. Must invest in noise cancelling headphones if I fly with SAS again, apparently."

Fordele: "I was offered pizza and promised to get my money back as I would¨t reach my destination anyway. Still waiting for my enquiry about money,"
Ulemper: "The plane is very old and I¨ve been expecting this to happen. I wish they could set in a modern plane on this distance as the train also don¨t offer a proper connection."

Ulemper: "70euro baggage fee at counter check in while flying on SAS. The same fee is 13 Euro if is bag selected at the time of ticket booking. kayak never gave me the option."

Ulemper: "Rather indifferent organization in Copenhagen at the gate, and rather rushed service (granted it was only an hour+ flight from Kastrup to Arlanda), I was not even asked for water or tea/coffe when the cart zipped by, maybe because I did not speak Swedish/Danish"
