Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

And the worst thing was that before flight, they closed us in an insulated gate especially for flights to Tel Aviv, something made out of the 1980’s with a small kiosk with cold sandwiches and “espresso” from an automatic machine, if we knew this is the case, we at least would’ve bought something to eat before entering the 80’s terminal/gate."

Ulemper: "Couldn't check in online and because I booked pretty late, didn't get the seat choice I wanted. I purchased the flight via the Lufthansa site, but then on check-in, I found out that the first segment was SAS, so neither the Lufthansa site nor the SAS site let me check in online."
Fordele: "Lufthansa is a great airline. My problem is Kayak, who sold the tickets to us."
Ulemper: "You, Kayak, sold me economy tickets. When I checked in online I saw it for the first time that our tickets were Economy Light. So even though we are Frequent Flyers, we payed $220 for three checkin luggages. I intend to dispute this case."

Missed flight left me waiting in Frankfurt over-night with-out a hotel, nor anyone from Lufthansa to assist with finding a sleeping cot. No airport/Lufthansa staff would offer to bring me a cot and all attempts by me to locate a cot were unsuccessful leaving me to walk from area to area to locate were the cots were stored. Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."

This resulted in a long line and awkward waits facing 10 more people in a very small space. The blanket was not washed well, had long blond hair on it. The temperature was very cold."
Ulemper: "Boarding mix up, which was completely Lufthansa's responsibility, delayed my flight to Istanbul for one hour which caused my missing my connection with another airline. This in turn cost me the original flight and a new ticket purchase of at an exorbent price."

Fordele: "The aircraft was big and clean, but the seats were not comfortable. No entertainment at all, not sure why it was list for review. My biggest problem was with their communicates. I booked this flight from Tel Aviv to London with 60min.layover in Warsaw, the schedule LOT offered. .The first leg to Warsaw was 30min. late without any announcement and no one mentioned about how it would affected connecting flights. So I asked the flight attendent before lading in Warsaw and she suggested to run throught the security. We thought we might have a chance as we were sitting close to the front rows. Nah, not so fast. It turned out that's not as rsimple as unning between the gates, everyone had to be shuttled to the main terminal and only the business class got a small van and went first, abd we were not allowed on that van even I told the guy we needed to catch the flight. Long story short, we finally made to the gate, Thanks to a LOT personnel pushed us to the front of security check and informed the gate we were coming. We literally RAN after the security to the gate. They reopened the gate to let us in and the aircraft pushed away right after we got on. The luggage, with that tight schedule, of course they would not be able to make the swich to London. So we had nothing except the cloth from Tel Aviv, its about 15C in tempture, we were freezing. Waiting for our luggage to be delivered to our hotel for warm clothes before we can go out"

Ulemper: "Extreme delay supposedly as a result of a lightning strike to the plane. About 9 hours delay and a missed connection. The only compensation given for this dealy was a voucher for a 20 Euro meal at the airport restaurant of my choice. I know planes get hit by lightning on average of once a year, but it typically does not take 3 to 4 hours to inspect and confirm the safety of the plane's electrical system. But perhaps better safe than sorrry!"
Fordele: "The airplane is 737 dream liner Bombardier and is well ventilated and operated smoothly. Looks very new. Flight staff are excellent."

Ulemper: "On Monday, May 21, payment was made for 2 suitcases in the amount of $47. At check in next day we were asked to pay and paid 40 Euro for 2 suitcases. We told them that we already paid, to no avail. We would like to have an explanation. According to LOT luggage policy we should not be paying for 1 suitcase per person at all.."

Ulemper: "I am not a heavy set guy but the seats were unreasonably close to each other, this meant that when you eat a meal your elbows push into your sides making it hard to bring food to your mouth."

Ulemper: "It was 20 of us in the cabin. Better attention? More alcohol?"

Fordele: "We had a delay in boarding and the gate crew kept us updated every step of the way. BA remains my favorite to fly long-haul: even in coach, the seats are reasonably spaced and comfortable, the meals are tasty and filling, and the cabin temperature is consistent. Especially appreciate the wine with dinner, which always helps me sleep half the flight away!"
Ulemper: "The entertainment system on our plane failed in (according to the flight attendant) about half the rows, including mine. That didn't just mean spending 7 or 8 hours of a 10-hour flight unable to watch films, check the flight map, or charge my phone. It also meant that I couldn't call for a flight attendant or even turn on my overhead light, which was really inconvenient."
Ulemper: "1,5 hr delay. No effort from the cabin crew to compensate for delay. Just stuck in our seats for 1 hr waiting for the airline to be cleared for take off. Would have been nice with a hot towel for face and hands after a long semi-night flight (10hrs). Extremely cold. Everyone was freezing and coughing due to very, very cold cabin air. Very old entertainment system. Grainy blurry screens. No charging of devices via usb. The control was fixed to armrest and was accidentally pressed al the time while resting and arm on the armrest. Remote gate in LHR."
Ulemper: "No free non-alcoholic drinks. Everything at a fee. Remote gate in LHR."
Ulemper: "Having to pay for tea, coffee and water is outrageous Flight late."
Ulemper: "Crew were not serving water on the plain that is very important during flights. Head phones were very poor quality and stereo system was making a very bad noise."
Fordele: "Polite crew."
Ulemper: "No power outlets. TV video was shaky. The audio jack did not work. Flight was delayed."
Ulemper: "Check in was slow. There was a long line, only 3 counters were open and then one person behind one counter chose to chit chat with a co-workerwho stopped by for about 10 minutes unmindful of the people lined up and waiting to check in."
Ulemper: "It was terrible cold. We received no free food or drinks."

Ulemper: "Boarding was a bit chaotic. Passengers were bunched up outside the departure lounge - not sure if there were lines or not. Got sorted when we got into the lounge."

Ulemper: "BA needs to adopt the Ryanair policy of limiting the number of carry-on bags allowed on board. BA needs to work better on cabin maintenance. Some reading lights did not work. Ryanair cabin crew are nowadays polite and cheerful. BA crew seem stressed depressed and defensive."

Ulemper: "I didn't get to go. The Turks said I couldn't even change planes in Istanbul without a visa -- and they weren't issuing any."

Ulemper: "Many lengthy transfers at Heathrow. Exhausting."
Ulemper: "Seat is not so confortable crew member is not enough always forget to skip my raw and there is no more food I want ! Airplane is too big all full too many people and the gate is too far to walk to"

Fordele: "Everyone was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the turbulence, but there's nothing hat can be done about that."
Ulemper: "We were loaded onto a shuttle bus and then stood there (some sat, I could only stand...) for 10+ minutes until the last passenger arrived. Not sure what the airline could do differently there unless it's run a "late person shuttle," and from other passengers' remarks, this was unusual for this transfer."
Ulemper: "They sent an email with security requirements regarding electronics saying they can only be carried in checked in luggage and at the airport refused to accept any electronics in carry on or checked in."
Fordele: "There was something to like?"
Ulemper: "This was a four hour international flight from London to Istanbul. There was no in-flight entertainment system of any kind, not even audio, and there was no free food or drinks. Not even a bag of peanuts or a soda. Everything had to be paid for. And if you did wanted to purchase something, it took forever since passengers had to whip out a credit card. Cash not allowed. I have never been on an international flight that made you pay for food and drinks. When I inquired why, the reason given was that this was a "short-haul international flight". Oh, I see. British Airways is now a discount airline."

Fordele: "The food was actually quite good, free beverages (including alcoholic) was great addition. Compared to Amercan airlines, I was very impressed with the number of meals and snacks we were served. Some meals better than others, but you can't beat the value."
Ulemper: "LIke most planes, the seats aren't roomy in coach class, but the seats were comfortable with nice headrests. Leg room, especially in window seats, what almost non-existent."
Ulemper: "Missed connection again at Heathrow. That's 2 out of 4 of the last trips."
Fordele: "The premium economy seating is worth the extra money. The seats were incredibly comfortable."
Ulemper: "The food was not very good, but it rarely is on long flights."
Fordele: "Got there in one piece."
Fordele: "British Airlines Club - staff were helpful and friendly!"
Ulemper: "Booked last minute due to a missed connection. As soon as I did and went to counter I discovered the flight was delayed almost three hours. It should have been noted as delayed prior to purchase."
Ulemper: "Aside from not being able to leave for almost a whole day, they lost our luggage upon arriving to Los Angeles."
Fordele: "Upgraded entertainment system"
Ulemper: "Online check in and seat selection did not work in the 24 hour advance window. I phoned BA a few different times during this interval and they were unable to assist-- they were seeing the same software error."
