Ulemper: Bag drop at Gatwick airport was dreadful!! Only one desk for the whole flight to check baggage. I was in line for one hour!!!

I will be writing a report to their customer service department. You should stop offering flights from this airline. The worst most negative customer service experience ever.

Fordele: My flight was exhausting zing eventually uncomfortable. The seats weren't clean as it irritated my skin. I didn't eat the food as I couldn't identify it. Passengers were told it was "chicken" but it didn't appear to be chicken. The flight attendants didn't know English so they weren't helpful at all

Ulemper: Cleanness has to be better. Toilets were old and dirty and smelly. Also cleaning crew did not clean the trash before us as I found trash in the pockets of the seat. Overall I could feel that the plane was too old and dirty. Also they can change the food quality. Too poor.

Fordele: The flight attendants were friendly, attentive and efficient.
Ulemper: Many flights were grounded for several hours because of some airline operational glitch. We were provided with no information or guidance about how to resume our travels. As we tried to sort ourselves out we were sent from lineup to lineup without much progress or friendly service.
Fordele: very friendly crew (we were flying with two small kids) who went above and beyond to make them as comfortable and happy as possible.
Fordele: The entertainment was adequate and there were multiple snacks/meals. The bread rolls were warm. And they provided towelettes for wiping hands after meals.
Ulemper: The crew could have been more considerate, and the Economy seats were even tighter than usual! There was no leg room and even without the person in front of me reclining, the seat back was hitting my knees. The passenger next to me had longer legs and was much worse off. The food was very poor.
Fordele: The flight attendants were fantastic. They paid attention to every detail and anticipated requests. Always had a smile on their faces.
Ulemper: The service and the aircraft with QSuites were superb.

Fordele: The crew is excellent. Very friendly, professional, and helpful. Both on board and at the desk inside the airport. They listen to your needs and respond the best they can. Seats are comfortable enough for Economy. Good selection of movies to watch. The flight was on time and arrived even a little earlier than expected.
Ulemper: The food was filling, but not particularly tasty. For those seated toward the back, there was no choice. Although maybe there was no choice to begin with. Normally, on international flights, for the first (bigger) meal at least, you are given two choices, such as meat or vegetarian, beef or chicken. The food itself wasn't great. The salad was below average on both flight, from and to Chicago. So was the desert. Drinks are offered once with each meal in very small glasses. Although there is a bottle of water from the start.

Fordele: Everything! I never knew that Finnair was such a great airline.
Ulemper: Honestly, nothing could have been better.
Fordele: I have flown to hk with Cathay and American exclusively. I wanted to try Finnair because the price was very good for business. I now know why. The food is mediocre. The staff aren’t friendly or attentive. At $2700 it’s cheap compared to CX and AA but I know why now.
Ulemper: Service, staff and food.
Fordele: Attendants and counter staff all super friendly, seats were comfortable with decent leg room, frequent beverage and snack offerings, and a nice selection of entertainment at the seat.
Ulemper: Vegetarian hot meal option was a little strange, but not terrible.
Fordele: We had one of the more legroom seats so that was nice
Ulemper: Everything else. I felt the stewardess from my aisle was extremely rude. She would ask someone a question and obviously they can’t hear her because their watching a movie, so she would wave her hand in their face. Another time she was telling me “excuse me” in German while I was watching a movie. I thought she was speaking to someone else since I did not understand German and then she very rudely said “excuseee me”. The food was not filling and they charged for drinks. She also said I was only allowed one free drink of coffee. The second snack was a cake or cheese sandwhich. We were starving the entire flight we had to give in and pay for snacks on board. I’ll try to avoid eurowings from now on.
Fordele: Check in was easy and they answered my questions about a connecting flight, bags are relatively cheap to check in, and pilot made sure we were able to get to our connecting flight.
Ulemper: Nothing really, just a typical budget flight.
Fordele: If I can give this airline negative stars, I would.
Ulemper: Lack of communication. Lack of sympathy. Lack of knowledge. From the beginning, I wasn’t given the boarding pass to my connecting flight nor was I informed as to why. When I finally made it to my connecting flight with NO time to spare (very small window of approximately 45 minutes to make it to my connecting flight) my husband, my son and I were turned away from our flight due to over booking. The Eurowings manager guarantees we would be able to make another flight if we went to the ticket counter right away. At the ticket counter, (different airline) the ticket agent explained we’d have to transfer our booking over from Eurowings to the new airline. This left us NO time to make that flight the Eurowings manager guaranteed us we would make. We also waited 3 hours at the baggage claim office only for them to tell us they lost all our bags. Only 2 out of our 5 bags made it onto the flight and will be waiting at lost and found of our final destination and the other 3 bags are unknown of their whereabouts. The Eurowings ticket agent took ALL of our bags including my husbands and I carry ons, so we were left with no clothing and had to stay at the airport over night. This airline really sucks. We were never informed in advance of this over booking issue or I would have certainly made my own accommodations before hand. Will never fly Eurowings again. Definitely the worst airline I’ve traveled with. And I lost 5 bags in the process.

Ulemper: The boarding took a very long trip on the bus from gate to the aircraft. The entertainment system need maintenance. Screen and head set socket are poor quality.
Ulemper: Good flight.

Fordele: Crew was average food was below average service was below par. Emirates is slipping. Boarding and deboarding was the worst.
Ulemper: Lots to be improved. Crew food boarding on board service.
Fordele: Impossible to enjoy a flight you didn't choose and were forced to fly on due to a schedule change, especially when the flights you'd booked had much better timing for a fixed teacher's holiday schedule. Avoid Oman Air unless you are sadistic and enjoy forced flight changes and no compensation. As I was forced to change to a flight to one arriving at 03.10 with my work starting at 06.00, I tried (and failed due to a lack of space and fidgety neighbour) to sleep all the flight to be fresh and professional for my work. The booked flight which was forcibly cancelled got me home 9pm the night before work. Oman Air refused a suggestion to upgrade me to business class so I could try and sleep.
Ulemper: I am a teacher. I can't choose my holiday times. I get three fixed weeks in summer. In both 2017 + 2018 Oman Air changed their schedule forcing me to change my flights. I was out of pocket for a small amount - they refused to pay the $27.60. I was to arrive home at 9pm for an 06.00 start to work they changed my flight so I arrived at 04.00. I asked for an upgrade to business class to try and sleep. They ignored the request. They instead sent me a copy of the small print saying that they were allowed to change anyone's flights and give zero compensation if the 'client' is informed two weeks in advance. I will avoid Oman Air from now on, even if they seem to offer the best times to fly.

Ulemper: I was slapped with a payment for baggage without knowing about it. I had gotten round trip tickets through kayak and for some reason one trip was allowed baggage but trip back was not. Tried to work it out but somehow kayak booked me for a round trip with bags going out but no bags coming in.
Fordele: The price was great, the flight was comfortable, crew was very friendly.
Ulemper: The airport check-in was probably the most chaotic I've ever experienced anywhere, but the people - travelers and staff - were all very nice.
Fordele: So if you exceed 10KG by 100grams they will charge you as separate luggage. In my case I was 1 KG more so I paid 66 Eurosbor I won't board. Which was 20 minutes before take off. So I paid.

Ulemper: They lost my luggage during the tranfer in Frankfurt. They did return it however within 24 hours.

Ulemper: The seats are like torture devices. So small and uncomfortable. After 14 hours of travel, my knees were sore from jamming into the seat in front of me, and I'm only average height. When the person in front of you puts their seat back, their headrest is practically under your chin. A disgrace.
Ulemper: The food was really bad. I prebooked an AISLE seat and of course I was given the WINDOW!
Fordele: Crew was lovely, patient with all us skiers returning from the slopes. The food was EXCELLENT- for airline food. And I was in economy.
Ulemper: The Entertainment tech was not smooth, had difficulty getting it to function and likely annoyed the person in front of me with all my tapping.

Ulemper: Frankfurt is a terrible airport to fly through, based on my last two experiences. This time the security was better but still very slow compared to other airports I use routinely. I could have easily missed the connection if I had not left the business lounge early to go to the boarding gate. I try to avoid this airport.
Fordele: I ordered a flight and a suitcase through the kayak website. I arrived at the airport saying that I had not ordered it. They take a high price at an airport on a suitcase
Ulemper: Seat was changed during boarding
Ulemper: The seats were very cramped and lopsided which made for a very uncomfortable flight. The flight was completely packed and upon landing we were kept on the plane for an additional 45 minutes which made people very irritable. The food quality was not good.
Ulemper: The flight was cancelled without firther notifications. I called UIF office 7 times and finally one of the reps was able to give me full information and reschedule my flight with other airlanes. In the airport I saw a bunch of people who came for their flight... which was cancelled. I received email about cancellation after I spoke with UIF reps. Never will reccomend or use this airline again
Fordele: The wheel chair service at Munich airport was excellent. She received us at the door, helped us find a connection after we lost our flight and communicating every step and giving us First Class service on coach. Thank you!

Fordele: From start to finish, Sevdije was in great hands. She had to be in a wheelchair, and there were three connecting flights in countries where she doesn't speak the language. It could have been so complicated, and everyone made it SO EASY. She was all smiles when she arrived in Boston. THANK YOU!!!!!!
