Entertainment system did not work, and after 4 requests for assistance to different crew members finally gave up asking and so had no entertainment for whole of flight. The last of the crew members suggested that an alternative seat or a future flight voucher could be given, but neither of these materialized. Food mediocre, and crew polite, but some not particularly friendly."

Ulemper: "I was surprised to be charged for 1 piece of checked baggage. I was never informed I would be required to pay for 1 piece of checked baggage. I would have paid ahead of time, had I known. I tried to check-in online but was denied access to my ticket because Swiss Air thought I might be a robot. I kept following instructions for positive access but after about 10 attempts I quit. Very irritating!"

Ulemper: "We were glad to have extra leg room at the bulk head, however, the seats themselves were extremely narrow. My elderly father found it exceptionally difficult to sit and stand from the seat. The seat table creates an ever tighter fit for someone with special needs."
Ulemper: "I booked two tickets but could not pick seats for my partner. We ended up in bad seats next to the bathroom."

Ulemper: "For international travel, I’m always told to get there 3 hours before. For this trip we checked in but didn’t have access to a printer so needed a boarding pass. We wanted to carry on luggage so just needed to print the pass. Swiss was the only airline that wasn’t available on the check-in kiosks. The front desk staff didn’t arrive until closer to 1.5 hours before check in so nearly theall passengers were in a huge line to get passes and check bags."

Ulemper: "Getting off directly onto the tarmac with no gate access- glad it wasn't raining!"
Fordele: "Service was great, friendly and courteous crew, smooth take off and touch down, meal was the best I've had traveling. Very long tiring flight, good hospitality is always appreciated."
Ulemper: "There was a short delay on take off but we arrived on time. The only problem that I encountered half way into a long tiring flight, I lost the volume on the entertainment system. The stewardess tried to reset it but it didn't work. I was asked to change seats but it was too much of a hassle. Was a bit disappointed. Not there fault."

Fordele: "We were very impressed by our flight with Swiss. The staff speaks impeccable English, there is much more leg room than on flights with American companies, and it is so pleasant to get pillows, blankets, headphones, drinks (including wine), snacks and 2 meals on our international flight and not feel nickle and dimed the way we do now on domestic flights."
Fordele: "The plane was comfortable. The headrest was great and the seat pitch and recline were decent. I was able to sleep better with Swiss than with other airlines like Lufthansa or Delta. They are much better overall for sure. The food and staff were excellent! The food quality is very good compared to the other airlines. The cabin crew are always passing around water and chocolates throughout the flight. They were friendly and helpful as well. The pilots were also very good. We had no rough turbulence and their landing skills were amazing."
Ulemper: "The boarding procedures could be improved. They don't have zones and everybody just line up. Families with small children are not accomodated first."

Fordele: "We had two flights with Swiss and the first one left half an hour late, meaning we only had about 10 minutes to connect to the next one. Instead of sprinting through the airport, a man was waiting for us immediately outside the plane. He got our luggage right from the cargo, drove us to another man who stamped our passports, and then drove us to the plan just in time for takeoff. It was incredible service and everyone was super friendly. We so appreciated them making sure we caught our connecting flight!"

The beverage service great and the food was good to. although there could have been better options in terms of the dessert ( ice cream taht was provided)"
Ulemper: "the boarding was poor, we waited in line to board and they did not announce to us that we need to have our ticket stamped before we got to the door, as a result we were sent out of line once the ticket was stamped we had to rejoin the line from the back. When i got through they then said something was wrong with my ticket in which they took it and I was pulled out of the line. they should try to the ticket check and the boarding line at the same time"

Ulemper: "The handle of the pull-stick that slides into the suitcase was broken off with the pull-stick sticking out of the TUMI suitcase. Used a pen point to release it and get it back into the suitcase. No handle so it was impossible to drag the suitcase. The ground personnel representing Swiss Air at the Boston Baggage carousel was a novice, had never filled out a baggage claim form before. Told me they would phone me. I am a bit skeptical about this claim. Not sure if it was Swiss Air of the local ground personnel who damaged the suitcase."

Ulemper: "Service was very slow. Only one person was serving. We had dinner at 10:15 pm and they did not had some of the beverages that were on the menu"

Ulemper: "Flight from Copanhagen to Istanbul was delayed for an hour...computer malfunction was the reason. I was a little bit stressed because I had a connecting flight to Manila, was afraid i wouldn't make it. And also, no gate assignment yet for Istanbul to Manila. Since it was my first time to travel via Turkish Airline, not familiar with Istanbul airport."
Ulemper: "Checking in on line was not available which invited a standby seat for an overbooked flight that was purchased 5 months ago. Probably Will not use or recommend Turkish airlines in the future."

Ulemper: "The boarding procedure is chaotic and the boarding crew were rude and yelling at passengers. No organization skills and poor communication as we were delayed over 90 minutes at the boarding gate to add salt to injury"
Ulemper: "They cancelled my returning flight WITHOUT me knowing and expecting me to pay for the penalty fee for misisng the first flight even tho I DID not cancel the returning flight which obviously I was gonna take. The staff was RUDE and INSENSITIVE. Qatar was better in overall customer service. Worst customer service from Turkish airline."
Fordele: "One of the ticket agents, Diego McNuss, was especially kind and helpful when we checked in. He is a credit to the company. Also, so many special touches on the flight, like the warm wipe and the bag with the socks, etc. Also very kind flight attendants."
Fordele: "Turkish Airlines er normalt, som samlet pakke min favorit, men når indtjekning vælger at sætte 2 voksne mænd på sæder ved nødudgangen der kun er ca. 75% i størrelse af normle (små) sæder, så er 3½ time til Istanbul en lang sammenklemt oplevelse."

Ulemper: "Ground staff very unhelpful and arrogant. Wanted to upgrade to business class and the representative who served me was very rude and unhelpful. Boarding was through buses which was inefficient and messy. My trip was 11 hours of flying time. Economy seating is super tight and legroom awful. For long haul flights they must be more generous in terms of seat size and legroom."

TK airport (ground) staff that talked to us was antipathetic and it took ages to get any service. Looks like they didn't care we about the delay, nor they were trying to help us. Just kept saying we need to wait."

Ulemper: "The seat spacing on that flight was some of the tightest I have ever seen - worse than even most of the short-haul (Embraer) flights i have been on - barely manageable for 3.5 hours. Flight attendants were borderline rude and bossy, but they had to be, because the passengers were loud and unruly."

Ulemper: "Our luggage did not transfer in Istanbul (1 hour layover) and didn't arrive in Warsaw for nearly 48 hours (actually 45 hours)."

Ulemper: "I asked the website to change the destination. The reply came 12 hours before the flight. I couldn't wait so i took another flight and paid for another ticket."

Ulemper: "The delay, the service, the fact that my bag was only delivered to me two days after I landed, and after receiving the bag I discovered that it had been opened and things were missing."

Ulemper: "the first flight (from Dhaka to Istanbul) was long, but great. full entertainment. the second flight from Istanbul to London had zero entertainment (the flight is obviously international and 4-5 hours long). there should be an easier way to request a vegetarian meal when i buy my ticket through your website. I shouldn't have to go through some convoluted way of contacting the airline to find if there is a veg option."
Ulemper: "I made request by the phone, for service animal. They told me to call back after 24h!!! After 5 days of waiting, more than 50 calls to customer "support " that barely speak English, I was forced to go to "Airport " to chek what is the problem with my request. Over there they helped me, and everything was fine after that. But this is RIDICULOUS, that I need to go to f... airport to solv the problem. Never ever turkish!!!!!!"

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"
Ulemper: "Self-check-in at Munich was unnecessarily complex. Same for procedure to check in luggage. Also, the passport had to be inspected twice despite being already in the secure zone."
Ulemper: "The in-flight snack - choice of two disappointing sandwiches."
Ulemper: "- The extra baggage fees were 5 times higher than the announced on the website which caused a lot of troubles. - The booked special meals (halal) were too spicy and not proper for children at all ( we just wanted normal meals without non-halal ingredients. - No basic medications on the first flight."
Fordele: "Just about brand new Airbus airplane, very nice! Everything worked, seats reasonably comfortable for a long flight. Boarding worked well by area of the plane, friendly crew."

First meal ( Turkey) had something in it that blowded me up all the way to Vancouver! Not sure if it was the vegetables or?? Not nice if you can't walk around and also not great for your neighbor to the right and left. I usually don't experience this with my food that I cook or choose."

Fordele: "Individual screens for all seats with a varied selection of entertainment options. Plenty of room under the seat for my carry-on. (It helped that no one was in the seat next to me.) Beverages were offered frequently. Smooth flight, smooth landing."

Ulemper: "Our luggage did not arrive in Naples with us. We heard nothing from Lufthansa despite making numerous attempts to email and call the airline. Our hotel tried to call as well to see if someone could at least tell us if and when our luggage might arrive.We had to go out and buy clothes and personal items. It was a terrible way to start a holiday."

I mean including crew. People have good days and bad days. I am sure the crew can say the same about passengers."
Ulemper: "What could have been better is: - the email that the airline generates and senda to people a couple of days prior to flight directs you to a site where you are supposed to fill in the blanks. About Covid. The thing is that you cannot submit it unless you as a passenger fill out an Austrian address. The electronic form does not have the option to rule out staying in Austria and indicating that you are transiting in Vienna. I had to fill that form out (at the Address in Austria section) with sentences like “not applicable” “transitting” and also had to google the Vienna Airport address for the zip code so it could be submitted. The form forced me to fool the it. Not cool. Frustrating."

Ulemper: "No food, plane felt pretty old and not so clean. Smaller seats than the other flights I had with Lufthansa. Otherwise, it was fine. I had a pretty bad earache on that particular flight, so I liked it less than I might have otherwise. Something didn't feel right, pressure wrong or something."

Fordele: "I get Airpoints with the flight, crew were lovely."
Ulemper: "Flight was overbooked, so a few delays (as they were asking if anyone would layover to release a seat) and they were being very strict on the one bag per traveller, but that’s fair enough considering it was busy."
Fordele: "I liked the abundant choices for entertainment and the comfortable seating."
Ulemper: "Some members of the crew weren’t so pleasant. One didn’t speak to me while I was helping my child in the aisle, but rather rudely pushed her out of the way instead of saying excuse me or waiting a moment for her to sit back down into her seat."
Fordele: "I liked that the airplane was newer and comfortable. The crew and food was ok."
Ulemper: "There was no entertainment unless you paid for it. We already pay enough for our tickets to fly and entertainment should be included and not another added expense, especially for families that already pay so much for their flights!"
Fordele: "It was a total nightmare all Austrian flights they put us on were canceled !!! We did not leave Vienna for another 7 h a total nightmare all planes had technically difuculties !! Austrian airlines had total chaos !!!"

Ulemper: "While going to the gate G11 at Vienna airprt, i slipped infront of the gate in presence of 3 male austrian airways staff who were checking there. After i got up i requested if i could get some water and they said they cannot. Finally a co passenger gave me her bottle of water. I ended up actually breaking my leg"

Fordele: "It's just normal seats with the middle seat blocked for Business class. It's not a true Business class seat by any definition. There is no entertainment system for this flight. I would choose to fly economy for this leg, if given the option as there is no added value to the Business class."

Fordele: "This isn't really the flight, but see below for lack of personnel at Vienna airport to help locate gates after our flight arrived very delayed. I was running with a cane, and getting very upset when an airport employee with a cart asked if he could help. He took me to the gate I thought was for my flight, but it was for a DIFFERENT flight to Zurich. He calmed me down and drove me to the correct gate, talking the agent there to make sure it was the right one before he left me there. I wish I had time to get his name because he was very kind and helpful and I don't know what I would have done without him - wouldn't have made the flight, that's for sure. (He was in vicinity of gates F 3 - 13 on Sunday June 11 approximately 5:15 - 5:30pm Vienna time, if anyone wants to know)"
Ulemper: "Our flight was delayed almost one hour. Even though I had only one hour between flights, I was told (in Split) that all flights would be delayed, so no worries. On the plane, they gave information for some flights; for the rest of us they just said, go to your gate (for connecting flight) as quickly as possible. Flight landed at 5:05pm. When I walked out of plane (I was using a cane; recovering from broken ankle so have some trouble walking distances), there was no board with flight info, just immigration. Finally I saw a flight board, and had 10-15 minutes walk still. Also, signage wasn't great. I called after an Austrian Airline flight attendant who was also leaving, but she never heard me. Finally I found the right direction, still had security to go through. I was running with the cane (not good for my ankle). Essentially there was no help. Until a man driiving one of those carts helped me - I write about him above in what I liked about the flight."

Fordele: "Food, wine, crew, physical comfort were outstanding. Excellent overall! Austrian continues to abide by the highest standards. After 14 years it still is one of our two favorite airlines in the world."
Ulemper: "Boarding was chaotic, cramped. Passengers kept lining up only to be sent back to the end of the line after documents were checked three separate times. Only first class passengers were allowed at the gate. Chaotic and frustrating. Not what one would expect of Austrian efficiency!"

Ulemper: "boarding at Tel Aviv was terrible. Specifically a staff member name Michelle was unprofessional and did not care much about passengers who waited for hours at the Group line because there was no indication that it is a group line. No one from the airliner bothered to explain or advise the passengers who were waiting and after more tan hour waiting when they eventually got to the head of the line they were told to go and stand in other lines. This was insane Long waiting times confusion Flight was late hence almost missed connection"
Ulemper: "Boarding on return flight was utter chaos and was not controlled properly. The crew was very pleasant and , in my opinion, could not have been any bertter."

Ulemper: "I wasn't able to check in online therefor i got terrible seat. The guy next to me was very tall and big and he was stuck on me due to not enough space. I was extremly uncomfortable because he was rude when i asked him to let me out. I asked if i can change seats but the plane was full. I didn't get any sleep either. Extremly tiring and turbulent 10 hour flight."

Fordele: "My husband's experience with their flight from Chicago to Vienna was amazing. Everybody helped accomodate him with our 15 month baby boy."
Ulemper: "The crew (check-in desk & flight crew did not put any effort to help accomodate us). They even asked us to do all the work in asking around. Squeezed us in the tightest place possible for travelling with our baby boy. Will not recommend your airline because of this!"
Fordele: "The plane was comfortable and the crew was nice and efficient. My legs did not cramp up on the long flight. Good job."
Ulemper: "My experience at Vienna airport was HORRIBLE. No jet bridge -- stairs to walk onto the tarmac. Board a crowded bus to get to the terminal. The terminal was a nightmare...up the stairs, down the stairs, walking forever like a mouse in a maze. Very inefficient and crowded conditions at the gate for boarding. Not enough information as to what's happening. I felt like a sardine in a can! The personnel at the gate were not at all friendly or forthcoming with information."

Ulemper: "The seats were uncomfortable when reclined. My legs felt awkward without support"

Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Fordele: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Fordele: "The flight was delayed by 40 minutes initially then a further 20 making it an hour late. Sitting at the gate there was then suddenly a last call to board the flight and a mad rush for everyone to get on. I appreciate that delays happen but the lack of communication ragardinh altered boarding times didn't make the situation any easier"

Ulemper: "Boarding was odd. Go to airport early and counters were not open, did on line check in so was able to avoid the self check in at airport. Also self check in luggage seems confusing with no ground crew to help. It didn't affect me but lots of confused passenger."
