Fordele: "SwilssAir is our new favorite airline to Switzerland and other points in Europe. The crews were pleasant and efficient. All flights were right on time. The food was very good, and the best overall we have experienced in economy. The individual video screens provided a nice selection of movies, tv, games, etc. Finally, transferring in Zurich is MUCH better than the zoo that his Heathrow!"

Fordele: "There was a very long line at the check in counter on the way back. Many people were nervous about missing their flights. Apparently the counter computers were out of order and they only had 2 stations to support the passengers at a very busy time. Other than that, everything was smooth and pleasurable."

The staff speaks impeccable English, there is much more leg room than on flights with American companies, and it is so pleasant to get pillows, blankets, headphones, drinks (including wine), snacks and 2 meals on our international flight and not feel nickle and dimed the way we do now on domestic flights."

Ulemper: "They could not give me an aisle seat which I had requested. The cabin felt as if you were sitting in a tin can. Very restricted for an almost 8-hour flight. Plus arriving in Athens I discovered that my bag was nowhere to be found. I am still waiting to hear from Swiss about my lost valise..."
Fordele: "We had never flown Lufthansa, or in a A380. Upstairs in economy with 2 seats on the right side, it was very quiet and felt roomy. Service was on-par with other European carriers, so quite good."
Ulemper: "I paid extra for a seat with more room but found that the seat did not offer any more room than the average coach class seat in any other airline. That was unexpectedly disappointing."
Ulemper: "I would have like an announcement to let me know what times food will be served. I woke up just as the crew had passed my row for breakfast and then couldn't get the attention of the lady to serve me breakfast. A vegan option for the menu would be excellent. The leg room on the plane was also very reduced for an 11 hour flight. I wish I would have been offered to pay an additional amount and upgrade to the business class. This option was never offered to me at check-in."

Fordele: "I appreciated the big meal, dinner, about 2 hours into the flight. Nice to have real metal utensils, not plasticware, to eat with. The 'breakfast' for the overnight flight was more of a throwaway: muffin, granola bar, fresh fruit cup. Nice to get wine, or maybe beer(?), with dinner at no extra charge, served from regular wine bottles, not individual-serving containers."
Ulemper: "$35 per flight leg (Lufthansa policy) to choose seats was distinctly annoying. I didn't know when I booked the flights, so the surprise $70 add-in (for round trip definitely would have figured into the price/schedule choice in the first place."
Ulemper: "Once again, my flight was late. Four out of the last five trips to Barcelona Swiss had a significant delay (longer than the duration of the trip itself) on at least one of the segments. It's getting a bit hard to believe actually."

Ulemper: "When the airline interrupts your trip last minute and passengers are trying hard to adjust their plans it would be nice to have a little appreciation from the airline team. And they do not have to be rude to people who are asking to explain the reason of the changes."
Ulemper: "I didn’t make the flight to Antayla because the airport customs takes too long, kayak needs to let travelers know they need a visa and passport to travel through IST. Also tight connections are impossible."

Ulemper: "In Business Class, the seats did not recline all the way to become flat. Other airlines (including Qatar and Etihad) have seats which become flatbeds even in 3 hour long flights. Very disappointed that Turkish does not have that options from IST to ISB. The boarding experience from IAD-IST was excellent...but it was the opposite from IST-ISB."

Fordele: "Turkish Airlines er normalt, som samlet pakke min favorit, men når indtjekning vælger at sætte 2 voksne mænd på sæder ved nødudgangen der kun er ca. 75% i størrelse af normle (små) sæder, så er 3½ time til Istanbul en lang sammenklemt oplevelse."

Fordele: "The international pods were wonderful. Lots of space and could choose from a ton of movies. the bathroom was oversized with plenty of space. And the Bentley travel packs are a very nice touch. The highlight of the trip though is the Turskish Lounge in Istanbul. It has several grand pianos, tons of iMac stations, a freaking golf simulator, and different food stations. Thai, Turkish cuisine a salad bar. It it the best lounge I have experienced 10 fold. It’s the size of a mall."
Ulemper: "One negative was the beverage service. Iberia and Korean air are much more attentive before and upon take off. Beverage carts come around quite often. Turkish, not so much. Also food was just okay. Feel like other airlines do better in business class"

Ulemper: "Seats on the plane were very dirty and that was my only disappointment .... for fabric seats it’s should be kept extramarital clean or changed overtime"
Ulemper: "The boarding was chaotic. The space used at the gate could not cater for the number of passengers and there was no way anyone with any priority boarding status could make it to the counter. This is not new and has been a recurring problem with this flight and turkish airline does not seem to care enough to handle."

Fordele: "Turkish had several flights departing close In time and they only had three agents at the check in counter, makin* the process painful at 4:30am. After on hour in line only about 10 passenger seat were checked in. By th way all the security screening procedures ran very smooth and quick, it was Turkish procesdures and man powe4 that was poor. Boarding the airplanes was chaos, both in Tel Aviv and Istanbul."
Ulemper: "Very little was done to impress the passengers from check in, boarding, airplanes were old and peach between seats small."
Fordele: "Will never use kayak again"
Fordele: "Liked the movies and entertainment selections."
Ulemper: "They didn't have a vegan menu. I had requested vegan and called over the phone a month before my flight and they said they understood. Then on the flight I was told they only do vegetarian which was not good enough. After food was passed out to guests the flight crew dissapeared and never came to collect food trays till about 2 hours after and guests were starting to make a mess leaving food trays on the ground and isles. I had already selected my seat prior to boarding which I paid hundreds of dollars for. Then after boarding the flight crew asked me and the gentleman sitting next to me to move our seats to accomodate for another man that wanted to sit next to his wife. Then I was stuck in a middle seat and I paid for an isle seat. I thought this was rediculous. No one offered me a discount or anything! And the man that wanted to sit next to his wife wouldn't let the plane leave till he was sitting next to his wife. What was I supposed to do? Hold up the plane even longer? This was so crazy!! Outrageous!"

Ulemper: "My flight was cancelled twice within 24 hours before takeoff. All I got was an email saying it was cancelled and a number where no one could help me. I spent over $40 international calls just to reschedule my flight, only to have to take a $80 cab to the airport to have a human help me. Worst customer service and worst experience. I was trying to get home after a natural disaster struck my hometown and Turkish Airlines actually made that experience even worse. At no point did anyone even apologize for cancelling two of my flights without another option until a full week later. I had to pay to fly myself home from Boston because they were so unhelpful. Would never recommend Turkish Airlines to anyone I know whn traveling internationally."

Ulemper: "When we arrived walking to the shuttle the crew had thrown our play pen n stroller out on the walkway. They didnt take it inside with our luggage.It was checked in with all the suitcases! So luckly my son recognized it as we were walking by. Very disapointed if he hadnt noticed it we would of been out of luck. No baby bed or stroller! Why dont they take it with the luggage OR at least let you know they dont transfer them for you! Not happy"

Ulemper: "Old plane with questionable food, only few movies. Not impressed and considering not using TA again"
Ulemper: "Uncomfortable flight from LAX to Istanbul. No leg room at all in coach compared to many other airlines Ive flown."
Ulemper: "I have lactose intolerance and I tried ordering the special meals. However the lactose free meals are not good. I got it more than once, it's always dry grilled chicken, steamed veggies and plain rice. Overall it's a dry meal and no flavorful at all. On this trip I didn't order a special as I was hoping one of the options wouldn't have lactose."
Fordele: "Clean bathrooms all the times. Eagerness of creaw to take action of our reauest of drink, coffee etc."
Ulemper: "Foot rest in plane from IST to ATL is restricting leg movements and hits legs when not lowered. Can get rid of foot rest. Also seat leg room and widht were noticably small compaired to flights from IAD to IST."

Never recvd a txt, email or call from them. BOO. Had to go to airport to change resvtn as they werent answering resvtns phone. Booo"
Fordele: "Although there was only one option for meals, they were good nevertheless. The entertainment on Turkish Airlines is the best I've ever seen on any international airline. There are so many options and the layout is new and modern."
Ulemper: "Compared to my flight from New York to Istanbul, my flight from Istanbul to New York was less wonderful. The crew was not as attentive and was not helpful in assisting the grandmother who was sitting next to me with her 2-year-old grandson who wanted to know if another seat was available. There was only once choice for the meals, which I found odd on a long international flight, but I did enjoy the meals. The plane was older than the one I took from New York and were less comfortable. I don't usually have a problem with legroom (I'm pretty average height at 5'5"), but the legroom on this flight was noticeably smaller."

Ulemper: "after the ooup d'tout there was a period of chaos and i had to stand in line for 11.5 hours straight to get a new flight boarding pass.l They could have maybe come up with a different system for this considering the 2 or 3,000 people who had their flights canceled. that was incredibly unpleasant...herded in like cattle for 12 hours with i don't know how many thousands of people trying to get a flight out. It was like being in a refuge camp."

Ulemper: "Lufthansa burde presse lufthavnen i Frankfurt til at ge bemanding imsilkerhedskonteollen. Kl 6.10 i morges tog det 35 min i business køen og mindst 50 mini economy køen"

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Ulemper: "Getting through security in Munich was a nightmare and I almost didn't make this flight. Luckily i had a friend that asked them to hold the plane but there seemed to be no communication that people from other flights were delayed getting to the gate. Very frustrating."

Ulemper: "Get your own food or you will stay hungry. 12 hours flight with 2 crappy meals served with no option of getting anything else except candy bars or pretzels."
Ulemper: "Flight was late causing me to miss flight to Chicago ORD. Missed flight left me waiting in Frankfurt over-night with-out a hotel, nor anyone from Lufthansa to assist with finding a sleeping cot. No airport/Lufthansa staff would offer to bring me a cot and all attempts by me to locate a cot were unsuccessful leaving me to walk from area to area to locate were the cots were stored. Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."

Fordele: "The plane was delayed leaving miami so it arrived late to Munich and I was scared to miss my connecting flight to Berlin but there was somebody waiting for me as well as the other people traveling to Berlin and they walked us through immigration and straight to our flight to Berlin. Thanks for this we didn’t miss our flight. Also this Lufthansa flight Miami- Munich was one of the best planes in terms of cleanliness, comfort and quality."

Fordele: "I have never flown with Lufthansa, but now, I will fly with them any chance I get. The crew were amazing. Friendly and attentive. For airplane food, it was very good and tasty. Received headphones, a pillow and a blanket for the flight. Legroom was good, but probably cramped for people over 6'0" tall. 24 hour online check-in was smooth an trouble free. I like having the boarding pass on my phone. No paper to carry around."

Ulemper: "I paid to reserve an upgraded seat. I specifically asked for a window seat and even have a confirmation email saying that I got a window seat (27 A). However, when I checked in, I was assigned a middle seat and the representatives at the ticket counter tried to tell me that was my preference. They tilde me to take it up with customer relations. If I pay $100 for a particular seat, I should get that seat!"

Ulemper: "We were detained at the airport after boarding and then deboarding without information. The entire flight was locked in a room and not allowed to leave with very little explanation as to why. After 5 hours they let us board another plane. There was water and candy supplied as food. It was a joke for anyone with kids or the elderly. Nevermind anyone with health concerns. BAD way to manage a crisis in my opinion. We were treated like cattle. And these were NOT cheap tickets."

Ulemper: "Planes are old and cramped. Our plane gave us the "personal entertainment option" which meant you had to use your own device since they are too cheap to upgrade the planes. However, this international flight only had american plugs so anyone without an adapter was SOL. I tried to watch the large screen at the front of my section but they showed the movie Lion that is in Hindi and therefore had subtitles and I couldn't read the words from 12 rows back. The boarded process is like a cattle call. DO NOT FLY UNITED!!! I thought I was flying Lufthansa but it was a bait and switch situation."

Fordele: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."

Fordele: "Mostly everything was fine with the flight"
Ulemper: "Have never seen this happen elsewhere, but shortly after boarding, the crew announced they had to do a safety check, which required all the passengers to collect their personal items (i.e. everything from the overhead bins) to hold with them in their seats, as the crew 'checked' the bins and aisles. The procedure didn't seem to delay the flight, but just seemed a little pointless and a waste of effort. Thankfully there wasn't anything found or any other cause for alarm, but it just seemed odd."

Ulemper: "My knees were actually pressed up against my he seat in front of me even though I had my butt all the way back. So, thankfully I had an aisle seat so I just stuck my knee out to the side...this was a partial solution only as the crew came by at least 5 times on a 2 hour flight with the service cart, smacking my knee each time. No complementary snacks or beverages... not even water. Somewhat surprised that they didn't charge to use the lavatory."
Ulemper: "1 hour queue to check in due to mixed international flights and not enough desks open. No room in overhead lockers, people seemed to have much more than their allowance. Didn't get to buy duty free items on-board as they ran out of time."

Ulemper: "Fight was delayed by about an hour. Information screens at DUS airport did not work. Seat backrests were WAY too short, so I couldn't lean back. My back and neck still hurt because of that!"

One pass through with the food cart if you wanted to buy something to eat, and then peace to enjoy the flight. Both the trip out and the return were on time."

The crew could not care less, and I ended up with the largest person on the plane next to me, who seat jumped, so I had to sit sideways the whole fly."

Fordele: "The plan arrived on time and landed on schedule. It was clean and there were no issues on this very short flight."

Fordele: "The fares are cheap and they charge for luggage. Check-in was smooth, boarding was as well, and the crew was smiling just a bit. But then that's the Turkish attitude I have noticed all these years. Not bad over all. My luggage made it all the way to my destination with no problems, even though there was a connection flight."
Ulemper: "The seats did not recline which makes it a little difficult to relax if the flight is longer than two hours. No entertainment and no food served (not even water) unless you pre-order or purchase it in flight."

Ulemper: "first of all the prices of drinks are very high and they rip you off since there is no option. but with that i can live. what i cant live with they try to save on gas and till you dont yell they dont turn on the AC and then they try again to lower it and again you have to complain. i hope to never fly with them again and when you say something you get a sour face"

Ulemper: "The boarding staff not helpful at all for bags and for the seats. The crew was very bad talking she was very bad. The meals were not as expected.. Very poor trip. It is different at all of the going trip!"
Fordele: "Firstly, Overbuggage limits were put into practice with a mindset of just to f* the customers and consequently almost every single passenger has to end up paying at such overated fees that were equal to a level of a business ticket of any well known first class airline company.I , myself, had to pay 450£ in total for the ticket , just because of 34 kg of a luggage weight though 20 kg of this amount was included in the ticket. Sirs, if you really will only take this complaint as just to watch and say that this was a company policy then i will definetly never choose your services either again.Also, from the bottom of my heart, i will never feel tired to share and spead around this nasty experience of mine on each and every social media occasion , when i will have a word to say. Within only one flight on that day ,the total buggage revenue of the company was equal to a sum of 23,000 £ in total, despite the plane was ridiculously abit bigger than a small box. Sirs, Pls rethink over what i said. This is far beyond to accept and fit into any int'l trade rules.17£ fee for 1 kg !?? Best Regards"
Fordele: "Desk personnel who checked us in spoke Not One Single Word to us in any language. We were kept standing in line to board even though the plane was late."
Ulemper: "The plane wasn't cleaned and empty bottle, used tissues and remainders of the meal served on previous flight were on our seats. People were not helped to stow carry ons and many should have been requested to check large carryon bags. They were out of beer even though beverages had just been loaded. Attendants could not clearly communicate the price of a beverage."
Ulemper: "A failed flight canceled the flight without compensation and we lost hotel reservations in Sarajevo"
Fordele: "This was a domestic flight, only hour and 30 min. Same aircraft as from London to Istanbul, nice and comfortable seats with plenty of leg room."
