Ulemper: "I did not like the fact that my seat was between 2 small children that belonged to a family sitting behind me .It was ridiculous to put a stranger on a 10 hour flight with a 3yrar old on one side and a 5 year old on the other"
Ulemper: "Incredibly uncomfortable, not enough minimum space to fit my knees behind seat in front when front passenger reclined. 6 hours is too long to have a metal rod sticking straight into your knee caps. Shoulders were squished between other passengers and had to sit twisted the whole way and Im not a large person, but am 6ft. Cabin crew impolite and unhelpful. Food was awful and made my friend sick."

I got to the airport very early to get a good seat only to be that and was given a very uncomfortable seat where I couldn't stretch my legs well because of a box on the floor situated to my left leg and to make the matter even more annoying my screen was not working which I was forced to take one heavy meant-so-called laptop. And finally cabin crew were lacking serious customer service and when u ask for something they were just so reluctant to deliver as if we were given a free ticket or something. May it be noted that my ticket was not that cheap to be treated in such manner."

Ulemper: "We got told that our flight number had changed from VS103 to VS4049 but still a Virgin flight. Only when we checked in we found out we were now flying with Delta and number was now DL285. Was not happy as wanted to fly with Virgin.The seats were ok but the entertainment system went down mid film. Took an hour to get started again. The games didn't work. Staff were a bit grumpy."

Ulemper: "The seats!!!! Omg I got bed sores. Not really but they have got to be the most uncomfortable things I have ever sat in. For a European flight from Uk they'd be fine. But for 9 hours...not good. The short hop down from ATL to MCO after was a blessed relief. Virgin, you have got to think a little more about your passengers asses. Also, having flown with just about every major transatlantic operator, including previous trips with Virgin, the knee room was not good. If you stretched out under the seat in front you were ok but draw your knees up... I wore short trousers for comfort and have sore points on my knees where they rubbed against the material of the chair in front."

Safety instructions not great, to be honest i do prefer the american airlines overblow saftey films. Control for entertainment placement meant when trying to sleep youd end up turning them on again. Touch screen would have been better. No internet as far as i could tell."
Fordele: "Slightly wider seats, happy and smiling crew, brand new aircraft with many new features. The facility to book and pay for extra legroom is invaluable in this day and age."

Fordele: "Had a delayed flight that wouldn't have gotten me into Pittsburgh until the next day, but the lady at the ticket counter did a stellar job and found me a new itinerary that was only minutes apart from my original one. I got home safely and at just about the same time :)"

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed for nearly an hour due to faulty air conditioning on the ground, so the passengers were all loaded and baking in our own sweat for an hour and it didn't seem to occur to them to offer drinks or refreshments to relieve the stress."
Ulemper: "The flight diverted to Washington DC delta crammed us into a 14 passenger uncomfortable van with only 12 of us in there they stopped us along side the highway about 20 minutes outside of Dulles to bring 2 more passengers. We waited for over an hour. Took 5 hours to drive us to New York and had to wait another 4 hours there for my flight to Boston. Not once was I offered a meal voucher. Only soda and first class snacks. I left ft lauderdale at 5pm Friday and walked in my door at 11:45am Saturday morning. Ruined my whole weekend. All from the airline who claims they haven't cancelled a flight in over 90 days. No wonder the Middle East airlines are killing them"

Plane itself was very modern and surprisingly comfortable, as much as a small space can be. Good amount of entertainment, and the crew were pleasant. And flight itself was smooth with very little turbulence which helps!"

Ulemper: "flights all on Delta - about one a week for 3 months straight - and yet when Delta cancelled my flight and re-booked they did not give me any upgrade or loyalty as I saw it - I had paid extra for Delta Comfort and they told me the flight they re-booked me on simply did not have any comfort available. However, I was not the one canceling the flight and re-booking - that is their problem and after so much loyalty for years I feel like I should have gotten some kind of upgrade for free...If I have to cancel - I have to pay fees - but if they cancel - I lose ...despite being a very loyal SkyMiles customer. I am quite disillusioned with Delta now and will have to look around to see what other airlines there are now - and my entire family - and what kind of loyalty they give to their loyal customers. It needs to be a two-way"

Ulemper: "After we boarded and were already sitting in our sits the stewardess came and removed our bags from the overhead compartment for another person with a larger bag! We ended up storing our bags under the sits in-front. The way it was done it was rude and with no consideration for our comfort."
Ulemper: "Delays, delays, delays... first class ticket from BOS to MSP got me a 6 hour delay and a middle seat in econ main cabin at the back of the plane. Delta you suck!"
Ulemper: "They cancelled my flight. I never flew home. I missed my little Sister's graduation. :o("

Ulemper: "The connecting flight from Atlanta to NY was rescheduled for an hour and fifteen minutes later, boarding for the delayed flight started late, closed doors were another 20 minutes late, spend another hour or so waiting for confirmations, during which no AC is on because of a malfunction on the plane with the electricity unit. Due to rough air conditions, no in-flight service, or very limited one - and all of those are fine by me, and not the airlines' fault at all. But then, during all these unexpected conditions, I can't even use the in flight entertainment system as i use Bluetooth earphones, and to get earphones I have to buy them for 2$. To earn excellent service, inspite of all the delays, AC malfunction and unpleasantness all you had to do was give those 2$ earphones for free. I have another flight with SkyTeam coming up and I do hope it won't be as unpleasant as it is a much longer flight."
Fordele: "This was our first time flying Delta and it was a very pleasurable experience. Boarding was very straight forward and the seats allocated comfortable. A surprise for us was being asked if we would like to move seats from the back of the aircraft to Comfort Economy (we think it was to do with weight balance! but appreciated very much none the less). The flight attendants were very professional and helpful, as you would hope all attendants on all airlines would be. We'd gladly fly Delta again anytime."

Ulemper: "I paid extra for a window seat, but due to the poor alignment of the seats with the actual windows, I actually sat next to a wall! Nol much to see out of a wall. If KLM are going to charge extra for a window seat, then they should make sure there is a window there! If the seat had actually had a window it would have been an excellent flight."

Ulemper: "Departure was scheduled with one hour delay. When everyone was boarded they mentioned a leaking toilet. It took them 1,5 hours to disable the toilet. In the mean time, no drinks, no snacks, nothing. So we should depart at 18:00 but it became 19:30. Our first drinks and meal was no earlier then 21:00. The crew should have anticipated better that the technical problem would at least take one hour and give everyone a drink at least."
Ulemper: "Our flight from Nairobi to Lusaka was cancelled for some reason and we did not find out until we happened to log into the website to double check our itinerary. They automatically rescheduled the flight only giving us 25 minutes to reach our next flight...impossible. so, after calling, we were re-booked again and forced into a 13 hour layover in Amsterdam. Our original flight plan had 4 hours. so, because we are a family of 7 with a baby, we had to buy a hotel room to rest, costing us a lot of extra money we had not planned to spend. We contacted KLM for help with the cost but were rejected. We also lost 5 bags somewhere between Chicago and Lusaka, but after 2 days, we received them."
Fordele: "Reasonable seat space for economy. Good selection of movies. Food reasonably good. Crew very efficient."
Ulemper: "Boarding at Amsterdam was disorganized. All economy boarded together. No row number boarding (which was the process for the outbound flight from San Francisco). Lights in economy were not switched off or even dimmed during the flight making it difficult to sleep especially if you had a window seat."

No nonsense staff who had all connecting flight info on hand when we arrived in Abu Dhabi. KLM staff were friendly and efficient. Fabulous airline."

Food on board was seriously a joke. I can bravely say it was not human food. It looked tasted and smelled DISGUSTING! So i disnt eat anything and for 6 hours i was starving! Seats are ok but the deviding handles dont fold up completely. They stay half up so its so hard to lay down."

Why are there no individual a/c blowers over each seat!! Because of the heat and the cramped seats had to keep getting up and standing in the back because I was so claustrophobic!! Miserable, miserable, miserable!!!"

Fordele: "The pilot kept us in the terminal when he found out that we were delayed due to fog in London. I appreciated waiting in a more comfortable, open space rather than on the plane. I was also impressed with how the controllers and schedulers in London handled the delays so that I had not problem making my connection. And as things turned out, the second leg of the trip went so well that we reached our destination on time despite a one-hour delay."

Would have been nice with a hot towel for face and hands after a long semi-night flight (10hrs). Extremely cold. Everyone was freezing and coughing due to very, very cold cabin air. Very old entertainment system. Grainy blurry screens. No charging of devices via usb. The control was fixed to armrest and was accidentally pressed al the time while resting and arm on the armrest. Remote gate in LHR."

Ulemper: "There was some problem getting the bags on which meant we didn't leave the gate until almost an hour late. Then because of the delay we sat on the runway for over half an hour more. Meaning we missed our flight to Austin. Two flights over an hour late in one day. Oh, and we are missing one of our bags."

Ulemper: "BA has a lot of nerve charging first-class prices for coach-seat legroom. The fact that the middle seat is empty doesn't warrant the price increase. Abominable food and no in-flight entertainment complete the picture."

Ulemper: "BA needs to adopt the Ryanair policy of limiting the number of carry-on bags allowed on board. BA needs to work better on cabin maintenance. Some reading lights did not work. Ryanair cabin crew are nowadays polite and cheerful. BA crew seem stressed depressed and defensive."

Fordele: "Everything went according to the timetable, boarding was on-time and we even arrived a bit earlier than scheduled, so I can't really fault the service of the pilots, the cabin crew or the ground operations team. Food wasn't exactly stellar, but clearly a lot better than on most European flights operated by larger companies (Lufthansa, KLM, Air France etc.). The aircraft itself was clean and looked fairly new and well maintained"
Ulemper: "The seating was absolutely HORRENDOUS. Even though I'm nearly 6'3" (close to 1.90m), I generally never complain about seating space or legroom, even on low cost flights. This particular TAP aircraft, however, despite looking quite new, had some of the most cramped seating ever. Additionally, the trays were minuscule (you could barely place the entire food tray the service during the flight, let alone have another drink at the same time on the tray). Also, on the inbound flight (this was the return one), the seats were fitted with a very simple and clever tablet-holding mechanism, so you could easily watch something on your table while eating your food (from a similarly small tray table). The seat back pockets do not have any material/fabric on the sides, so stored items could easily slip out sideways from the pocket. Shame to have such a good in flight service and to be a punctual airline if you're going to carry your passengers cramped like cattle in seats 'rivalling' the ones on Ryanair flights on 4-hour long journeys."

Fordele: "Given the weather in the UK we were expecting delays but we were pleasantly surprised! It was one of the smoothest journeys we have ever had from leaving our hotel to getting home and TAP featured highly in this. We even landed 35mins ahead of schedule - amazing flight with lovely crew."
Ulemper: "If I have to be picky I would ask that the crew on board speak more slowly when providing inflight information, particularly when English is not their first language as us oldies have difficulty understanding what is being said."
Ulemper: "This event refers to my TAP flight from Lisbon to Heathrow on 21-Jan-2018. We arrived to the airport nearly 2 hours before departure time, waited 35min in the security checks and my girlfriend was held 20min in the passport control. While she was queuing for the 2no police officers to check her passport, an airport assistant came to the queue and asked who was due to board in TP364 to Heathrow. She was made aware that my girlfriend was there due to board that flight. In the meantime I made my way to the gate to make the gate assistants aware that she was held in the passport checks and was already on her way to the gate. Having said that, the zealous assistants in the gate have closed the gate in front of me, 18min before scheduled departure time and - "very kindly" - told me that I wouldn't be boarding that flight anymore even though my girlfriend have arrived in the meantime. One can imagine the frustration I felt finding out that the flight departure was delayed and that the flight actually departed 40min late. At that time I was already suffering the extortion of the customer service from TAP, claiming from me circa 400Eur from each of us for a one way ticket in the next flight to London. Therefore... until I remember this... I AM NOT FLYING TAP ANYMORE... I am very proud of being Portuguese but in similar situations that occurred with me flying British Airways, Lufthansa or Air Italia, I have always been treated with much more respect and customer care!"

Ulemper: "The airline wanted to double charge me for baggage after have had a layover during my trip, so when I was checking my luggage by second time in order to go to my destination, they insisted on make me pay, even thought I had paid my luggage online before to take the flight from the beginning."

Ulemper: "The wait for check in was almost an hour longer tha. Expected and nowhere comfortable to wait. Executive lounge overpriced and meagre without any reclining seats. May as well have saved the money and used the terminal facilities No in flight magazine available to my seat for on board purchases and very little choice off goods on offer."
