Ulemper: "Cabin crew announced they will be dimming light for landing but that was not the case at all. They kept on turning the lights to a different color which was uncomfortable for the eyes. Pilot did a really great job on letting us know if there is any turbulence and when to expect during the flight. Flight attendants had no social skills, they acted like robots only there to serve for people who ordered. They should really change the way they perform because they are catering to the whole customers on the flight as opposed to only those who ordered their meals."

Ulemper: "Service was, surprisingly, not so good (this is my second time with Norwegian). My son was sleeping and I pressed the call button to get some help form cabin crew. They turned it off. I pressed it again, a girl came and I explained I need help - to get my trolley from the overhead bin so I can take a blanket for my son, cos it was cold and he was sleeping, I couldn’t move. She asked me “Is your bag heavy?”. What kind of help is that?She after all got the bag, but I was a cabin crew, and I would never tell that to a passenger needing help with a small child. Also, no one is checking if passenger with children are ok."
Fordele: "Liked that the flight was not full and therefore could use 3 seats to stretch a bit. Modern plane and smooth flight. Cheap!"
Ulemper: "Tight leg space. No food or drinks besides water. Sits could be more padded. My screen didn't allow me to order food or drinks. It was broken and there was no effort from the crew to offer to get at least a menu or pay with my visa for even a cup of coffee. I could have gone to the middle area to deal with it but it was not worth the effort. Not the most pleasing crew IMO. Just doing their jobs."
Ulemper: "I was denied the vegan meal that I purchased for this flight. Two of the crew members treated me like they believed that I was lying and trying to scam a free meal. His list was inaccurate, but we were in the air and I had no wifi to download my receipt and prove it to him. Two of the crew members tried yolo derby me a glass of water (eventually I got at least that). Then they said they would provide a vegan meal, however what they gave me was vegetarian instead and I am allergic to dairy and grapes/wine so I could not eat it. I was very disappointed to see that Norwegian crew members are not well trained on this distinction. Further, all other beverages and meals were denied to me. I sat through a transatlantic flight with only the food and drink that I happened to bring on board myself. At no point did the crew members apologize or acknowledge that it was their mistake. This will be the first and last trip on Norwegian airlines for myself and my friends/ colleagues."
Fordele: "Was not clear that you had to order dinner in advance Not clear that my luggage would only go to Paris and not all the way to Lithuania"
Fordele: "Pre loading of handicapped was insensitive and inefficient. People with disabilities were told to board and then made to stand in the jetway for over ten minutes. All the while the staff laughed, joked and stood around doing nothing to solve the situation."
Ulemper: "Gate staff-terrible attitude and service! They would never be hired elsewhere."
Fordele: "The plane was comfortable, clean and modern. The seats were not cramped. It was possible to sleep on the overnight flight without interruptions from the crew. The pilot was funny and helpful and landed the plane so smoothly that I didn't even know we had landed!"
Fordele: "We had a great flight from Copenhagen to Orlando on a 787 Dreamliner."
Ulemper: "When we tried to register for our flight, I was greeted with the fact that the name on the flight reservation was different than the name on the passport. The name on the flight reservation was Jim; the name on my passport is Francis James Donnellan. They charged me $60 to correct what they perceived as an inconsistency between the two documents. I found this frankly quite bizarre. I have literally flown around the world; I've taken many flights to Europe, the Far East, across the country, etc. and have never run into this as a problem. Over 50 years of travel, to be charged $60 by Norwegian for a perceived name inconsistency struck me as odd to say the least. Primera handled this "problem" without a charge and with a much better and more positive attitude toward it. Norwegian did not give an explanation as to why this was such an issue; the key point made was that James was not the same as Jim. Again, nothing in my experience suggested that there should be a problem here. My father's middle name was James, and he was always called Jim. Same with me. If they are in fact two different names as was suggested by Norwegian, no one over of my 75 years of life ever called attention to it. I wonder what would've happened if I had been referred to throughout my life as Frank, with the name on my birth certificate being Francis."
Ulemper: "The seats are wider than coach and you have more leg room but they aren't very comfortable. No back support and I felt like I was always sliding off my seat. My footrest didn't work properly, and my husband's didn't work at all on the flight to Norway. The food was limited and really bad. In fact, my husband got sick from the chicken he ate, and the steak I got was like a grey eraser. I took one bite and threw the rest away. They didn't have enough food to offer me something else (remember, this is premium economy), and the flight attendant was irritated and short with me. They don't have any pillows on the flight and the "blanket" they give you is basically a sheet folded in two sewn together, and doesn't keep you warm at all. I felt like I was on a discount airline, but I didn't get the discount! I will not fly with Norwegian again."
Fordele: "Nice bright planes ! Crew was friendly! Boarded and deplaned from both front and back of plane which was quick"
Fordele: "The flight was scheduled for 10:30pm and left at 1:30am, causing many passengers, including myself, to miss our connections- there was no assistance and no explanation. The seat spacing is very tight and seats are uncomfortable. One of my worst flight experiences."
Fordele: "I am 94 years old, and my daughter in law was able to get me a wheelchair while we were standing in line."
Ulemper: "inefficient movement of lines for check in. you needed more people checking the passengers in for their flights. and if you have bags, it is a nightmare as you have to go to a separate line to do so. did not pay $45 for an airline meal - seems outrageous to me."
Fordele: "I liked the premiere lounge a lot. The premiere class seats were comfortable, the entertainment selection was good, and the food was decent. We arrived safely and on time."
Ulemper: "One of the flight attendants was rude. When offered an extra bread, the attendant rolled his eyes at me when I asked for butter . The same attendant had a very unpleasant tone with me when I was waiting to use the lavatory. Instead of kindly asking me to return to my seat, he felt the need to express that I was in the way of doing their job and ordered me to go back to my seat. Premiere class doesn't get premiere treatment I guess."
Fordele: "After reading other reviews of Norwegian Air, we expected indifferent flight crew, strict carry-on restrictions and low cabin temps. So we came “prepared” for our overnight long haul flight, but it turned out the cabin was fairly warm and the young flight crew from Norway, US, France and Spain were even warmer. They were all merry, super responsive, and went out of their way to offer assistance. Although we hadn’t pre-ordered food, they gave a sandwich to my ten-year-old, and then when they had a few left over, they gave them to us (the parents) and others. They are either a new crop or they’ve gotten re-training since previous poor reviews. Also turned out layered clothing was enough and we wasted carry-on space bringing small blankets, not that they cared very much that we brought a regulation size carry-on plus a slightly-too-large personal item each (never measured), PLUS a paper grocery bag half-filled with snacks. So we went over our limit but there were no issues, and the overhead bins in the Dreamliner were NOT full. Maybe on other planes, or if you’re among the last to board, it might be different. Also, on-board blankets were only $5 to purchase (not “expensive” as we’d previously read.). Seats were certainly tight, but all coach seating is these days, and overall... a great flight experience. ALSO... they have a handicap accessible bathroom on board, and provide crew to push the aisle chair as needed. Awesome."
Fordele: "The aircraft and the entertainment and the planes left on time and it was affordable for the most part!"
Ulemper: "That you have to pay for luggage and there was not food or beverage included"
Fordele: "Flight times avoid local traffic for departure and arrival."
Ulemper: "You get nickel and dimed for everything. Have to pay separately for a meal 72 hours before flight or miss out. Have to pay for a blanket. Cramped seats. Staff about what you'd expect given the rest. Will avoid this airline in the future despite its travel times. Worst of all was the outsourced phone customer service. The app would not work several times for basic things like adding luggage. I was treated as if I was the problem. It was surreal. Seriously, never again."
Fordele: "I liked the movie selection, that the seats reclined and the staff and food."
Ulemper: "There where four flights all due to take off at 1030 with this company which caused major back up and delay in check in and tsa. They did not delay the boarding times and I had to run to get my plane even though I was at the airport 3 hours before hand. I barely made it running full force in my sock feet. I was very disappointed being a first time customer with this company."
Ulemper: "Boarding was delayed with no explanation or update. Seat choice was an added cost. Baggage was an extra cost and even higher at check-in. You had to pay extra for a meal beforehand and if you didn’t there was nothing. You didn’t even get offered water or a soda on a 7 hour flight!"

Ulemper: "I was thought that when i purchased/booked my flight in Norwegian Air that the food"
Ulemper: "They canceled flight at 1am, not much explanation to us. Only one person working at counter, Peaple started getting upset & confused. they sent us to the hotel outside the air port in Long Island. By the time we get there it was 3:30. Kids are crying & sleeping on the floor I felt so bad. Not knowing when we gonna fly until I went down to front desk in the morning. No call or email from Norwegian air. Whole thing was so crazy and handled unprofessionally. I’ll never use them."

Ulemper: "Charged $15 per kilo for excess weight for carry-on baggage (amounted to $180!) Checked baggage weight limit lower than for all other major airlines (20kg/44lbs rather than 23kg/50lbs) No included meals on flight! (Apparently, you had to pre-order a meal in advance for an extra cost)"
Fordele: "We just flew on September 11th from NY to Paris on Norwegian. The flight was on time. The check-in was pleasant and courteous (you cannot check in online). The cabin was not quite what I would call "business class"-- they call it "premium". The seats were spacious enough, the cabin clean and well-maintained throughout the flight. The crew professional and helpful. The equipment is the best-- the new Boeing Dreamliiner. Not what you would expect from a low cost company. We landed on time. Baggage elivery was prompt. I would do it again."
Ulemper: "I travel all year internationally. I am 5'5" woman. The Premium seats must be designed for a tall Scandinavian male! I couldn't find a comfortable position. The headrest was too high and shoved my head forward, there was a hollow behind my back (and no pillows distributed). The seats do not recline to flat-- more like economy plus seats on other airlines. The foot rest tilts down, so you can't cuddle up to compensate for the discomfort, despite the ample width. Do eat before you board and carry a few snacks. But honestly, for this price, no complaints. I did notice that one or two of the passengers had drunk too much beer in the Alitalia Lounge at JFK and carried them onto the flight, were then rather loud and unpleasant. The attendants seemed to ignore them.I didn't sleep a wink, but the crossing was uneventful."
Fordele: "I watched broad city so that was ok"
Ulemper: "It was freezing cold - passengers actually huddling together, wearing all their clothes, sleeping in crouch position. No blankets offered, or available and attendants were quite grumpy when asked. Asked for veggie meal before hand. This was treated as an imposition. When it arrived, it was pretty terrible and I decided not to eat it. Gave it to a fellow passenger who had been overlooked and was hungry. We boarded 7 hours late. We were given notice, but we were also required to come to the gate or miss our flight no later than 11:00 (check in shut at 12:00) this meant all of us spent an overnight at the gate. Plane boarded very early AM. No one apologized or offered any accommodation. Pilot actually told us about how frustrated he was, asked us to go out of our way to accommodate his crew. Some merit in this, except that passengers paid for their seats, and the crew were not particularly nice to us. Long story short: I cannot recommend."
Fordele: "Flight was good and crew was friendly. Good entertainment options."
Ulemper: "I didn't realize that with this class of ticket it is bare bones, meaning you don't even get a soda or anything, you have to order and pay through the computerized snack bar and then they deliver it to your seat. If you ask for a glass of water they will give it to you but they don't ask. Also they did not pick up any trash until the very end of the 8 hour flight. You get what you pay for! Overall it was okay for me but it was a bit surprising that with such a long flight they don't offer even a soft drink or coffee/tea!"
Fordele: "The baggage policy is a scam and not clear such that the airline over charged us at checki in $130. We of course could have avoided the charge but for the rude attendants at check in."
Ulemper: "The entertainment system and planes are no longer best in class. The entertainment system is a joke and the planes are dirty. The staff on the plane was rude as well."
Fordele: "Plane was okay and the food was pretty good."
Ulemper: "Flight attendants were not friendly or attentive. Movie choices were not great. Many people commented about that. I flew Delta to London in April and what a world of difference. Pillows, blankets, earphones, eye masks, toothbrush and paste. A couple of meals and a couple of snacks. Free drinks which they must have come by 8 times during the flight. Those flight attendants were working most of the flight and were very friendly. No so with your company."
Fordele: "We boarded and then sat due to computer issues for am hpur and a half. I was okay with this as safety is obviously what we all put first. Upon landing at JFK we then sat on the tarmac for 3 hours... 3 hours! JFK should be ashamed."
Fordele: "The plane is designed to establish a different cabin pressure which helps your fatigue when traveling long distances and it works! The place is quiet as well and there's an avg amount of space in coach."
Ulemper: "No wifi? Just seems odd for a new plane not to have that as an option."
Fordele: "friendly and courteous"
Ulemper: "Didn't know food had to be pre-ordered. 9.5 hour flight. Luckily I had a meal included from Kayak but the person next to me had nothing. Very awkward."
Ulemper: "on easy jet, if you do it check in online 34 hours before the flight you get bumped to standby. This is not made clear in any emails or confirmations. Despite purchasing a ticket in advance I almost missed my flight because I checked in at the airport."
Ulemper: "Easy Jet is not available to check in on a Kiosk in Venice and you have to go to another floor to find it. Once there the staff were less then helpful and all passengers seemed confused from a total lack of communication. Will not take Easy Jet again if other options are available."

Ulemper: "The gate agent was extremely rude. She had very bad attitude towards customers. They forced me to pay for my carry-on luggage because they claimed that it did not fit in carry-on size of the company. I purchased an international carry-on size matter fact. The gate agent was also threatening to remove us from boarding the process. I've traveling so many places with many carriers but easyJet by far is the worst in term of customer service particularly from Copenhagen airport. I was departing from Paris and the staffs were very helpful and friendly."
Ulemper: "Terrible experience with easy jet, for the second time the broke my bag, the attendant just before boarding to the plane she charged me ( in a very rude way) 50€ just because she thought my cabin bag is bigger than standard!! Who will redeem me for my 300€ broken bag. I will try never to fly easy jet unless it is the only available option."
Fordele: "All was great during take off and but landing was a bit of a hard bump. Non of the hot food was available as the oven was broken."

Ulemper: "The dispassion & lack of hospitality by the staff. The lack of process & order of queing to check in. The lack of leadership & ownership of taking care of customers. The livestock-like movement of checking in...standing & waiting on the bus to proceed toward the plane. The standing & waiting on the bus to deboard the bus to board the plane. The standing & waiting on the bus to wait for the bus to proceed to the terminal after landing. The standing & waiting on the bus to deboard the bus to proceed to baggage claim. The extra long wait to receive the luggage at baggage claim. The leadership of the company needs to either decide to fix this or find other work. Everything stated above is a reflection of leadership not taking ownership."
Fordele: "For a trip lasting less than 2 hours, an agent told me a small personal bag was allowed. After waiting on a huge line to board my plane, turns out I had to shove my bag into my carry on luggage because I was misguided by the EasyJet agent entirely. Awful service in comparison to line lengths and rules, idiotic overlook by staff and generally subpar airline service."
Ulemper: "Staff agent said a tiny carry on purse was allowed (mine was so small that it could’ve easily slipped into the pocket of the back of the seat in front of me). When I was ready to board I was rushed to stuff my bag in my carry on despite being told previously it was allowed. Also an incident where another passengers water bottle spilled onto my carry on (no doubtedly) because he was forced to stuff the tiniest of all things into his carry luggage) was handled very poorly by staff, with annoyance that we brought it to attention."
Fordele: "Liverpool airport is really easy to arrive at and get to your gate. easyJet have some relaxed Liverpool staff and with Liverpool airport and easyJet Liverpool staff you have a relaxed combination."
Ulemper: "My flight was delayed more than two hours. They informed gate number at the last minute and changed the gate twice. Passengers had to running for catching the flight."
Fordele: "Nothing"
Ulemper: "Check in was dreadful. Staff was not helpful. We were running late due to a connection and the employee told us to wait in line bc there was plenty of time. 15 minutes later and 15 minutes before boarding I went to front again where another woman said yes you need to check bags. Your site is not clear on baggage but that is pricey and should be stated more clearly. The range you state is nonsense. They charge the highest rate listed. There is no range. We boarded a bus to the plane which was also dreadful. We were in very last row. The only positive was that the flight was short!"
Fordele: "I expected the worst, found out I have had worse experiences with legacy airlines. The onboard staff was attentive, keen to help and please, cheery face, especially the short, dark Middle Eastern looking fella. He knows how to work it! Some flight attendants can be mean, he was very nice. I did not interact with him, but watched how he handled things, like helping people place their baggage in a different overhead compartment, personally moving the baggage so that it would fit. Cheery demeanor, informed the passengers of whatever needed to be said. The pilot was also attentive."
Ulemper: "No frills, not terribly comfortable--luckily it was a very short flight. Little baggage space, automatic drop off clerk was a bit surely."
Fordele: "NOTHING"
Ulemper: "Absolute worst experience in 15 years of frequent travel. EasyJet flight was cancelled from Paris to Nice incurring and additional 417 euro flight with Air France and 250 euro TAXI from Toulon to nice. Absolute absurdity as there were no other flights to Nice for 2 days. Easy jet then OVERBOOKED me from Nice to Paris. I had to fly Air France AGAIN, an additional 380 euro and I missed my connecting flight from Paris to jfk costing me an additional $800USD. How is this even allowed? WORST company to have ever existed, they must go out of business, contacting BBB and getting the word out on this disgusting company."

Ulemper: "All beverages and food are for purchase. Not much of services."

Ulemper: "Left 2 hours late. Gate was way too small for that large a flight. Flight was held at immigration on arrival for 2 hours. Apparently too many flights arrived at once and surprised immigration. Food was poor."

Ulemper: "My wife and I were traveling to Paris for our Honeymoon. Due to traffic, an accident, and a flat tire, it took us 3 hours to get to the Airport, even though it was a 1 hour ride. We were not allowed to check our luggage on to the plane because we were 1 minute late. Our flight was scheduled for 18:00 and the cut off for the luggage check was at 17:20. The EasyJet employees were very rude telling us we were late, despite the fact that there were people checking their bags on to that flight as we spoke. We will never again use EasyJet. Completely ruined our Honeymoon."

Fordele: "Everything went very smoothly, and we were happy with the flight!"
Ulemper: "At flyet var 1 time forsinket og der var minimal infomation ved gaten. Pludselig skulle alt vores håndbagage ikke med i kabinen og i Berlin tog det en halv time før bagagebåndet begyndte at rulle. Normalt er jeg ok-tilfreds med EasyJet men hjemturen fra Madrid til Berlin var meget ringe udført."
Ulemper: "Vi kunne ikke få lov til at komme med selvom vi løb alt hvad vu kunne for at nå det trods Ryan airs forsinkelse, det var ingen forståelse for vores situation og vi er derfor strandet i Berlin når vi burde være i Budapest og studere. Det var stadig et kvarter til flyet skulle lette da vi stod ved gaten, men der var ingen service overhovedet."

Ulemper: "Shepherded into a small area with very few seats, and anyway, we were held in lanes like sheep! Seating on the plane - narrow and little space between rows. Had to wait quite a while for baggage to arrive."

Ulemper: "What I do not like is that EasyJet always run late at least to Paris Charles De Gaulle You borrow steal and use other planes to plug holes created by poor planning or at least that is how it appears. Guessing that explains the recent press."

Fordele: "As above - uneventful - ran as it should!"
Ulemper: "Long walk at Kastrup airport!!"

Ulemper: "The seats were small"
Ulemper: "My flight was delayed over an hour so I missed another flight on another airline now I am stuck at the airport for 24 hours until the next flight"
Ulemper: "I was charged $50 for my luggage. I had one check in luggage and the price seemed very excessive. The attendant did not want to work with me in terms of lowering the price"
Fordele: "the plane was clean"
Ulemper: "the whole boarding process is so bad. There are no clearly marked lines. People get in the priority line unknowingly and then get sent the back of the economy line because they didn't know. Not knowing the gate until 60 minutes before the flight is also annoying - you walk through security and then it can be 1 of 90 gates. Checking in is ridiculous too - you can wait in line and then be told 'we are checking people in for this flight yet'. But there are no signs saying what flights can check in. the baggage restrictions are ridiculous too. We saw several people have to check their bags even though they easily fit in the overhead. All in all - easyjet is a cheap flight but you get what you pay for. I will mostly likely never fly with them again."

Ulemper: "We were a family of 4 traveling to Paris from Barcelona and had minimal luggage, yet the attendant singled us out and made us pay 60 Euro per bag to stow our carry-on bags. We had small book bags/purses and I tried to explain that they were our purses. She wouldn't listen. Our luggage was taken, we paid 60 Euro for 3 pieces to be stowed. Once we got on the plane, there were at least 14 people that boarded with a small roller carryon (like ours) and a backpack purse or small backpack. There was also plenty of room in the overhead bins as the flight was not full. In addition, one of our carry-on bags was torn apart by the time we arrived in Paris---the wheels were broken off and it would no longer roll. I am not sure why we were singled out when others had the same or much bigger luggage on the plane. Disappointed."
