Ulemper: "First, they announced that they need some passengers to voluntarily give up the booking in exchange for 280 refunds (a slightly higher rate which not worth to do it) and 1 stopover the fight to Rome which will arrive at 22.00 instead (our flight is 17.35). About 15 minutes before boarding time, they announced flight delaying. Around 17.45, they announced gate changing from B to A which located at opposite side of the the airport so all passengers run there because of everyone afraid that their booking might be canceled because no one agrees to give up. At both gates, many people try to jump in the queue which no staff comes in the manage the queue. During waiting on the board, the air condition seems to be closed, hard to breathe. Around 19.00, the plane took off the Zurich airport eventually, finish the 1.5 hours delay. The captain announced that it cause by the technical problem of the flight earlier but my thinking it cause from over-booking."

Ulemper: "12 of January, 2018 Dear Austrian Airlines authority, I address to your kind attention to asist me to get to me the hat qhich I lost on board of the flight 1576 when I arrived to Vienna airport on my way frpom JFK to Lwo. It happened because it was no room above my seat's bin and the steard helped me to get my heat in another bin. Unfortunately I forgot at the moment when I left the board of the plane, a minute later I reminded that I forgot my hat but I was not allowed to go back and get my hat. I tried to communicate with the Lot&Found office in Vienna airport as I had 2h40 minutes in connection time and it was enough time to get me back the hat, unfortunately nothing was really done from the airport staff to get me my hat and made to me possible continue traveling with my hat. I spoke to two managers, the name I could share with you if you need. The Found office registered my black hat and the plastic box under the number F2018/000682. In this situation I ask your offices to deliver my hat and the plastic box to Lviv airport as sson as possible as this is a special hat for my daily prayers. I wish you best and ask for your kind assistance to send the item as soon as possible with the nearest flight. Sincerely, Meylakh Sheykhet"

Ulemper: "I was randomly selected for a second security check at the boarding gate in Zurich airport, the security staff were unfriendly, said it was a TSA requirement even though I stated I am a United States Citizen and That I have already passed through a complete security check Point, still they placed a metal & scanning detector on my feet, hands & belt. This was a complete violation of my rights. Never have I faced a humiliating situation at any other airport. If this was a TSA requirement then everyone should be subject to a second security check."

Ulemper: "In order to board we were requested to line up at gate according to seating group. And then had to wait there in line standing for almost 45 minutes before we were finally told we could proceed to board. No reason for lining up so far ahead of time....and had to stand....."

Fordele: "At list 2 attendants were extremely not polite . Air condition was turned on 2 minutes before landing . To collect food plates from passengers took more then 2 hours . When passengers asked attendants, to evaluate when it going to happen the answer was very rude ״ you should fly business in case you want it faster " . It was a night flight and it took 3 hours to turn off the lights . One of the girls attendants told me that I have too many hand handbags with me , only 1 piece allowed . I was with 3 pieces but we were 3 persons my wife and my Childe . I was trying to explain her, but she was unable to listen . It is not Swiss I know , I like to flight Swiss , but this flight was extremely disappointing .It was many confusions with other passengers as well. wrong meals , wrong seats , no air condition, ... the flight was a nightmare"
Ulemper: "In this flight nothing , one of the worst I have ever had ."

Fordele: "I was extremely pleased with everything about my SWISS flight. I have family in Switzerland and have flown 8 times in the last 5 years. This was by far my best flight."

Ulemper: "Through no fault of the airline, there was a strong thunderstorm that delayed our flight. Little information was provided about the situation. It was obvious that we could not fly in the storm, but we were not informed about the likely departure time. The reason I gave a poor ranking is that my suitcase/pack must have been left out in the downpour on the top of the pile so all of my clothes were extremely wet when I reached Boston. The bag itself was wet so it was not a case of something leaking in the bag. I have had to wash all of the clothes and iron them."

Ulemper: "Cleaning after meal service was too quick. Then the galley was curtained off with no attendants in sight."

Ulemper: "The handle of the pull-stick that slides into the suitcase was broken off with the pull-stick sticking out of the TUMI suitcase. Used a pen point to release it and get it back into the suitcase. No handle so it was impossible to drag the suitcase. The ground personnel representing Swiss Air at the Boston Baggage carousel was a novice, had never filled out a baggage claim form before. Told me they would phone me. I am a bit skeptical about this claim. Not sure if it was Swiss Air of the local ground personnel who damaged the suitcase."

Ulemper: "I was unable to choose my seat online due to Swiss system issues and when I called, customer service was completely unhelpful despite the 25 minutes I had to wait for someone to answer."

Seats recline way too much until you can't even see the image on the screen anymore when the person in from decides to recline all the way let alone how uncorfotsblr it is to have the back of the front seat almost touching your face and serously limiting ability to move on the seat. Entertainment has super old interface, software."

Fordele: "Crew was nice. I was really thirsty and I kept asking for water. He should have just given me a small bottle. Also need more than 4 Bollywood movies. This was a returning flight after 2 weeks and it had the same 4 movies which I had already seen."
Ulemper: "I had a 14 hour layover in istanbul airport. Arrived at midnight and flight wasn’t until 2 pm the next day. I just assumed that they would give me a hotel. Come to find out thats wasnt the case when I landed. Given all kinds of reasons/excuses. The guy at the transfer desk told me”you should have known that your layover was this long since you booked it”. Will have second thoughts about flying Turkish again. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Might stick with Emirates or Qatar."

Fordele: "On the plus side, the food, service, entertainment, and comfort on Turkish are the best of any Economy class overseas flights. For that reason, they are my top pick."
Ulemper: "I can't understand why I was booked with an impossibly tight connection. It's a huge airport, with multiple security checkpoints with long lines. I had an hour between flights, and the first flight landed just five minutes late. The gate for the second flight had already closed by the time I cleared the first security checkpoint. It would have been completely impossible to make it to the gate on time. Turkish put me up in a hotel, etc., for the night, and there were dozens of people in similar situations. But the airline shouldn't offer connections that are totally impossible."

Ulemper: "Please don’t be black and travel with Turkish Airlines. They are rude and racist. Over booked flights, chances of missing connections. My son ranged the bell to ask for water. When the hostess came, she spoke to the white lady sitting next to him, the person told her it is not be that ranged it is him. He wants water, she walked away did not speak to him and never gave him the water. The only food they served was pasta. If you don’t eat that no other options. They will pump you off a flight that you purchased because they are over booked and expect you to be ok with it. No customer service at all."

Fordele: "Turkish Airlines er normalt, som samlet pakke min favorit, men når indtjekning vælger at sætte 2 voksne mænd på sæder ved nødudgangen der kun er ca. 75% i størrelse af normle (små) sæder, så er 3½ time til Istanbul en lang sammenklemt oplevelse."

Ulemper: "No air or ventilation on the flight. I took four flights on this trip and all were hot and uncomfortable. Space was very tight. I’m not very tall, yet I was struggling to get comfortable or even eat in the small space of my seat."

Ulemper: "After returning home I found items had been stolen from my luggage. Specifically about half of the items in my first aid kit were taken. Total cost of replacement will be approx $30."

Fordele: "I was so impressed by every staff of Turkish Airlines.. I was very young when TWA. Was an elite airlines, with the flight attendants dress perfect.. it made me feel like I was flying first class...with this being my first time using Turkish airlines I actually will use them over the American Airlines; just because the way I was treated and how quickly someone was willing to assist anyone.... I say you are the best!"

Ulemper: "Tried to cancel due to flooding in home and they would not refund my ticket. Neither would airfare.com, whom I purchased the ticket through."

Ulemper: "Wi fi"

Fordele: "Entertainment was excellent- choice of movies, music and ground cameras,"
Ulemper: "Food was average; no snacks or snack service which made for a long time between meals on a 12 hour flight. The flight purchased was from Venice to Houston with a connection in Istanbul. The required passport recheck and gate location at opposite ends of the terminal made this a mad dash to catch the flight. It was too little time for comfort."

Ulemper: "The 14-hour trip that made it hard for comfort it wasn't your fault just a distance that I had to go"

Ulemper: "No miles. No notification either. Seems very arbitrary"

Ulemper: "Old plane with questionable food, only few movies. Not impressed and considering not using TA again"

Fordele: "Meals, friendliness and warmth of staff, restrooms were routinely maintained, movies."

Fordele: "Entertainment on board was the best part. Food is decent."
Ulemper: "Worst customer service I've ever had in an airport at Attaturk. Turkish airline staff was horribly rude, wouldn't acknowledge their mistakes, very uninforming and all of it to pretty much force you to pay the airline more money in penalty fees for changing flight arrangements and new ticket purchases. And be careful THEY DON'T have any announcement on the intercom system at Attaturk (I had no clue as to that being the case there, nor have I ever been at an airport that doesn't). No boarding announcement, no gate change announcement, no nothing.....and if and when you miss a flight because you didn't know the gate changed while you're sitting at what you thought was your gate and no one bothered to let you know (including the person who checked your boarding pass when you came into that gate area, it's down hill from there! They will tell you it's your fault and not give a dam* what you say to argue otherwise....and......if you don't pay the penalty they dictate to change your flight ($1114 on a $780 ticket in my case so I purchased another ticket on Turkish air on my own for $236 to get me where I was going), they WILL cancel your return flight without telling you, at which point you will have to buy a new ticket to get back home and they end up getting the money out of you regardless. This was an absolute nightmare of a trip, couple with being treated like dirt by everyone at the airport. I will not ever again fly Turkish Air if I can help it."

Ulemper: "The attendant open the door on me while I was using the restroom, I didn't care for that, he can see that the restroom is in use ."

Ulemper: "Boarding process in Istanbul was very difficult. 5 security checks just getting from the plane from Brussels to our gate is excessive and time consuming. Very little organization at the gate as well. Not smooth at all."

Ulemper: "They made us choose an alternate schedule and offered our money back completely 1 week before our trip. This change by Turkish Airlines cost me $610. I had to rearrange the flight schedule for the person dog and house sitting for me. We had to spend an extra vacation day from work. The hotel Turkish Airlines put us in had terrible food and was so isolated that you could not walk to a restaurant. This airline was the lowest price, but I will definitely be looking for a different way for my next trip."

Ulemper: "Their audio system is very bad."

Ulemper: "Turkish airlines worth airlines ever. They change our flight from Houston to LA without giving us any choice because they are over booked with 30 passengers and on top gave us longer flight instead of sending us closer to our destination. They lost our bags and discover in LA that most of Turkish airlines passengers lost one of their bags too. we miss our flight from LA to Houston because of bad organizations and We had to sleep in LA one night so to take second day fight to Houston. So bad so frustrating never use Turkish airlines again."

Ulemper: "For a flight this long the seat is very hard after some time. More space is needed between rows. When the person in front of me put his seat back I felt very trapped in my seat."

Fordele: "The free hotel provided by Turkish airline is very nice too."

Ulemper: "The worst customer service ever. Turkish airlines changes 6 hour transit time we purchased to more than 24 hours transit time and they refuse to help us when we try to change the flight to other day. Because of that we are forced to stay in terminal for morethan a day with out any hotel arrangment. I wouldn't recommend their service to any one. So sad"

Ulemper: "Just as bad as it was from Rome to Istanbul"

Fordele: "The movies and the gift to the kids were good."
Ulemper: "The attendant should make more rounds in such a long flight."

Fordele: "Boarding was tedious with like 6 checks of your passport but being safe is never a bad thing. No cost alcohol is always a plus and the food was good. Staff was super nice and accommodating."
Ulemper: "I intentionally chose an empty row but people kept shuffling. so many folks were standing blocking aisles. I think staff could do a better job to prevent that."

Fordele: "Really amazing except for..."
Ulemper: "Stewardesses did their jobs, but as far as checking on passengers at non-food and assigned drink times, they were sitting in the back drinking coffee and talking. On top of not making rounds, there was no call button to summon a stewardess. Twice, my husband who was ill had a "coughing attack" and needed a glass of water... there was nobody was available. A passenger had to go and get them from the back. Perhaps due to this being a 13 hour flight, this is not a normal situation for them, but to go three hours at a time without taking a stroll through the cabin seems unprofessional. Otherwise this airline really does amazing service! I did not realize that such airline service still existed. American ones should pay attention!"

Ulemper: "The flight TK 119 (Khi - Istanbul) reached Istanbul late by half an hour. The layover at Istanbul was 1 hr 25 m. The distance to reach Gate 504 was terribly long. I had to run all that long distance to reach gate. After passing thru security checks, etc. I was completely exhausted. All that trouble to be dropped from plane on the runway and then using bus to reach terminal building and vice versa for the onward flight TK 33, was a terrible experience. The layover time and the lengthy and tiring procedure need immediate revision and rectification. Instead of comfort, passengers get high blood pressure and exhaustion. Very troublesome experience."

Ulemper: "I wish there was a little more leg room, specially for such a long flight."

Fordele: "The food was great, had chance to sample some Turkish cuisine. Way better food than any meal you would get from an American-based airline. Entertainment was excellent, great variety of TV shows and movies. The flight attendants were attentive and helpful. The Batman v. Superman theme was a nice touch. Decent leg room in economy class."
Ulemper: "Because we fly an older model 777-300ER, there wasn't a personal a/c nozzle, so it was a tad warm on the plane. They should fix that whenever the plane goes in for maintenance."

Fordele: "The service provided by the airline crew was magnificent. I enjoyed the entire flight from my departure point to the arrival point. Turkish Airline is my to go airline herein henceforth. I will implore prospective travelers to give the airline a shot (try). I can unequivocally attest that the decision to do so will not be regretted."

Ulemper: "Information on the flight delay as communication was. at least very poor. Also A 220 was ok but First Class was so so"

Fordele: "There were a few hiccups with the overall flight process, but the crew was very friendly and informed everyone in a timely manner of the situation. There were also good snacks. Also, flexible baggage policy, which was great."
Ulemper: "The boarding situation is odd and less organized or structured than any of the other airlines I've flown with."

Fordele: "Flight crew was very friendly and helpful. The drink package for comfort trip was fantastic and worth it."
Ulemper: "There was zero entertainment inflight and logging onto Wi-Fi was very difficult. I would rather have had free Wi-Fi and a screen to watch movies/games on rather than or in addition to the drinks."

Ulemper: "WiFi that I paid for on Delta didn't work, flight was delayed at take off due to waiting for restroom supplies; lead flight attendant had a major accent and was difficult to understand. She also stated to keep my mother's walker outside the plane when entering the plane"

Ulemper: "Both Copenhagen and New York need to go a better job on the flow of passengers through Passport control."

Ulemper: "Upgrade for customers like me. For next fly to first class."

Fordele: "Was upgraded to Comfort Plus after they had no seat for me on the plane"
Ulemper: "We booked with Virgin however flew with Delta and we were not alerted to this. We booked with Virgin for a reason. They also did not have seats for me when I went to check in on both flights and I had to negotiate seats before boarding. Very disappointing."

Fordele: "Microphone in seat 31 E (isle seat) did not work. It has a short in it."

Fordele: "I will say that this has been the best flight my husband and I have ever had. The crew members were very nice and helpful. This has been the smoothest flight we have ever had as well."

Ulemper: "Not sure who was in charge of loading the plane with food for purchase, but they forgot it all entirely. The crew was kind enough to give extra snacks. Kinda curious how you forgot to load a plane with food for purchase and how did the crew not notice in advance? I would think that is one of their checks of the cabin. Not mention who ever signed off saying they filled the plane with food for purchase lied. Very frustrating not only for the crew but for the passengers."

Ulemper: "Boarding was slow and the interviewers were disrespectful. Also I was upgraded last minute and I could never understand the system by which upgrades to first class are granted. Just because I used my points to buy the flight I wasn’t eligible for an upgrade to the one seat left in first class even though the flight is full and I am the first one on comfort+ upgrade list and there was no one on delta one upgrade list."

Ulemper: "Plane was around 45 minutes late in arriving at our Minneapolis gate. Flight was further delayed by something (unspecified) being "frozen." WORST part was that the temperature in the seating area at the gate was horribly cold. Departing passengers at a neighboring gate were bound for Fargo and sat with their parkas on and with parka hoods up. We Houston-bound had packed our coats & boots and were shivering. Then when we finally boarded the crew announced that the plane's water system was broken and so we would have no hot coffee or hot tea or hot anything. No water, also and obviously, in the restroom sink. But sani-wipes were provided in the sink basin."

Ulemper: "My one piece of hard shell luggage has a special, difficult way of latching. As long as nobody opens it, it stays fine for shipping. The problem is your greedy Chinese luggage handling thieves who work for your airlines in Chinese airports. Whenever they can steal from luggage, they always try to steal from passengers, particularly American. I have had multiple experiences with theft from Chinese airports. I have been to China and back to the USA five times. Many times, items have disappeared from my suitcases in Chinese airports. That is why I decided not to move to China to live but instead move to Indonesia. However, if I fly any plane that transfers my luggage in China, I can usually expect to have my luggage robbed. Although this time, nothing was missing from my luggage, that fact that your people had to wrap my suitcase in plastic (because they did not know the secret for relatching it) and resend it a day later, that is proof that one of your airport personnel opened it to see what he could steal and then got caught because he could not close it again. I am really really really tired of you Chinese thieves. I blame all of you because you are all a product of Mao Tse Tung’s godless atheistic evil society. The Chinese have proven to me again and again that they cannot be trusted. A Kong Chinese official even stole my Ohio driver’s license when I transferred through that airport on a previous trip to Jakarta. I understand your problem. If you fire all dishonest luggage department workers, you will not have any workers remaining. That is why you will always rank as a third world backward primitive society even though you buy expensive airplanes that you don’t build and dress your people up like professionals which they aren’t. AS LONG AS Chinese airport luggage people are dishonest and cannot be trusted, your entire airline is a failure. That is not prejudice against Chinese people. I know some honest good ones. They are all Christians, the kind of good people the corrupt Chinese government hates. An atheistic country is an evil country. Do not expect to be respected by honest people. You people clearly do not deserve it. You are still in the stone age when it comes to professionalism which requires total honesty, a quality which your luggage handlers consider to be dispensable. Such cave men they are!"

He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Fordele: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."
