Fordele: "The crew was fantastic! Our needs were constantly being met and just about the time you thought you might want a snack or a meal, the attendants were already heading down the aisle. Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs."
Ulemper: "The seats were very close together. The trip from New York to Amsterdam seemed a lot more comfortable than the return flight. The food from NYC JFK was better than the food from Amsterdam. The movie selection on both flights was a little disappointing."

Fordele: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Ulemper: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."
Ulemper: "The fact that there are different airline carriers for one flight is hard. In my second flight they made me check a bag which was considered a carry on during my first flight"

Ulemper: "Boarding was odd. Go to airport early and counters were not open, did on line check in so was able to avoid the self check in at airport. Also self check in luggage seems confusing with no ground crew to help. It didn't affect me but lots of confused passenger."

Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

So, this means that I am still in Germany which is not the worst place in the world to be stuck, especially because my parents live here. So a few day longer are not a problem for me, but if it takes a week, it is not good because I am supposed to be at work and I am using up vacation I had planned to spent with my family."

Ulemper: "Once again - the connecting flights through Frankfurt are difficult because of the size of the airport and the location of the gates. Make certain there is enough time between flights to get to new gate. Use extra time to purchase some of the excellent food items"

Had to tortow away stuff because a couple pound over British allows up to 50 pounds on a carry on Asked to switch seats and hot terrible service Tried to get boarding pass 24 prior could not They lost my luggage got it 3 days later And other things that I was not happy about"
Ulemper: "Missed my conection flight I wil not recomend air canada or british airlines for anyone"
Fordele: "Flight from Marseille was delayed. Very tight connection time to make the SFO leg of the trip (30 minutes). A Lufthansa representative met us at the gate along with another passenger and took us via van to passport control and then to a terminal far away from the one we landed. She was courteous and efficient. We get to the gate in time to board."
Ulemper: "My seat was in row 56, second to last row. The temperature was very cold. I asked a flight attendant to make it a warmer. They tried but to no avail. The flight attendant mentioned that aircraft model (now 15 years old) has had that problem that has never been resolved. Solution was wearing a hat and several blankets. Not good for a 12 hour flight."

Fordele: "Airbus 380'eren er et fantastisk fly. Var så heldig at flyve på business og imponerende med den mængde business sæder, som flyveren har og den kvalitet den enkelte plads byder på lige fra super hovedtelefoner til en reel soveplads og fantastiske sæder der kan indstilles næsten efter behag."
Ulemper: "Personalet virkede super stressede i forhold til at kunne give den service, som de vel selv gerne ville overfor businessclass passagerer. Serveringen virkede hektisk og der var ingen ro da flyveturen var kort grundet et hurtig fly og for mange passagerer."

No covid safety. Keep distance apparently don’t count when you onboard or in the bus from gate to/from plane. Could hardly move. And late again, again, again. Seems to be the new norm.

Fordele: "Economy Plus is great (I’m 6’10”) & had plenty of legroom! Good food, great service, nice entertainment package and got to stay in SAS lounge until boarding!"

Ulemper: "Udkald til gate, hvorefter vi stod 15-20 min. uden info om forsinkelsen. I fly vidste man ikke at vi havde købt breakfast hjemmefra, men vi fik det da uden problemer alligevel. Men brød kun budt én gang og kaffe 2. gang langt senere. I Malaga ventede vi næsten en 1/2 time ved bagagebånd."

Der var også en større flok amerikanske gæster som dog valgte at feste igennem på turen - da jeg vågnede var personalet godt trætte af alle passagerer og da jeg ville have lidt i pantryet var det pakket ned 2 timer før ankomst - sikkert for at lukke førnævnte fest - men det retfærdiggør vel ikke at de øvrige gæster også har indløst billet til business og den service der betales for."
Fordele: "Da vi først var kommet ombord på flyet gik tingene sin vante gang... ellers var der ikke meget hoved og hale på noget som helst."
Ulemper: "Men hvorfor annoncerer man at flyet skal board 1 time inden det sker, så passagererne kommer til at stå i kø unødig lang tid. Flyveren var 1 time forsinket på Flightradar24 og også i virkeligheden!!! Det var ikke noget groundpersonalet ville ud med, så alle annonceringer gik efter tidsplanen - den originale med altså en times gap! SAS find jer en mere kvalificeret partner i Athen, da det er var helt hen i vejret og dårlig service."

Ulemper: "In a wheelchair. Check in was terrible and rude. The fact that SAS did not allow us to bring my electric chair directly to the gate was absurd (only airline in the world that did that). The fact that it was not at the gate when we arrived in Newark surprised even the SAS Gate agents. Had to go to baggage and collect it in oversize baggage. Will not fly SAS again until that policy has changed."

Ulemper: "The service is minimal, you pay for any alcohol and the food is nothing to write home about."
Fordele: "The movie and tv selection were fantastic. Crew was kind and helpful. Chairs were pretty comfortable."
Ulemper: "It was so cold on the plane with most people including grown men with blankets wrapped up to their neck! I understand the crew moves a lot so want it cold but maybe there’s a happy medium? The cold snack sandwich with cheese and spread of some sort was awful. The main meal was better but not as good as some others I’ve had."

Ulemper: "Wound up having to pay 150$ for checking 2 bags. Almost more than the tickets. Feel ripped off. Don't remember the web getting a chance when i ordered the tickets to purchase at a lower rate. SAS said, since i bought the tickets through a travel agent, there was nothing they could do. Next time I'll buy tickets directly from SAS."

Fordele: "Because of bad weather at the Faroe Islands, the aircraft made a missed approach (go-around) on the first attempt to land. The weather had improved sufficiently to make it in on the second attempt. The pilot and the cabin crew were excellent in keeping everyone informed, and telling us the status of the weather and the likelihood of getting in. The pilot was outstanding in his communication with the passengers and the cabin crew were great in re-assuring passengers after the missed approach. The flight crew handled the difficult weather conditions very well."
Ulemper: "When trying to board in Copenhagen there were some mishaps, but these were mainly caused by people ignoring signs along the way. They did not offer any complimentary snacks at all. Only one drink"
Fordele: "Personalet var sådan set op og festede meget over at en kollega havde sidste tur inden pension. Desværre holdt de den kommende pensionist på business, så hvem det var der blev klappet af er stadig et myserium. Men hyggeligt at være med kabine personalet på arbejde"
Ulemper: "Gamle reservefly, hvor der mangler både det ene og det andet samt en 10 år forældet komfort. Når der sættes reservefly ind af væsentligt lavere kvalitet end den vare, som man forventet køb, så bude der være en eller anden form for kompensation. Forøvrigt glad for jeg ikke havde indløst business på denne tur da det i grunden havde været at betalte dobbelt for forventelig komfort på en moderne SAS Plus."
Ulemper: "This is our third delay with this airline on this trip and all they will do is send you to their service center which in Copenhagen is located so far from the gates it's a joke. Once again they are doing their best to discourage any interaction with their customers."

Fordele: "At least on long-haul flights SAS Plus is quite nice, much closer to business class service than your usual premium economy offering. Real silverware, good drinks, pretty good food, plenty of space and a nice blanket and pillow. The lounge in Copenhagen is quite nice too."

Ulemper: "They charged us for two aisle seats, and then reassigned one of us to a middle seat with no notice. With advance notice, they were unable to provide a meal that would not contain bell peppers, to which I am allergic. On the plane, both meal options contained bell peppers. Surprisingly, the ingredient lists were not available to flight attendants or passengers, and we were only aware of their presence because of seeing them, or having my allergic reaction (which I did) after avoiding the visible ones. The passenger in front of me put his seat in full recline for the entire 10 hour flight, including about 30 minutes when the seat was unoccupied. This put his seat about six inches in front of my chin and made it impossible for me to view the entertainment screen. It also made it difficult to get into and out of my seat. Several of the toilets had clear fluid covering the floor. I did not want to know is this was water or something else. Although our connecting flight in Miami went from gate E21 to gate E30, it took two hours (and 3,000 steps per FitBit) to get there because of being required to claim our luggage, leave security, recheck the bags, and then re-enter security. Our tickets did not provide for TSA-PRE despite having provided our known traveler number in advance. Many notices and directions were only available in Spanish. As they are based in a Spanish speaking country, this is perfectly reasonable, but their services are marketed to English speaking countries and it was a problem for me as a predominantly English-only speaker."

Ulemper: "I am 6 feet 180 pounds and I had absolutely no legroom was completely stuck in my seat can’t believe that a tourist class seat is this small with no legroom"
Ulemper: "I requested a vegan meal weeks prior and the only meal without meat had a lot of dairy in it. Not enough water was offered as well. The flight was delayed boarding. The leg room is pitiful on the flight."

Fordele: "I got a connection in Madrid to my destination, but the previous flight was delayed about 30 minutes. I got in the airport about 15 min before the gate closed. The gate that i arrived to my connection flight was around 26 min away. I have a condition on my leg and i cannot run, so i walked really fast through the airport and I was so happy to see that they were waiting for my delayed flight... which is very unusual. Thank you!!!!"

Fordele: "Upon boarding the flight attendant looked at my seat # and directed to to the correct side of the aircraft. I found this to be very helpful, since on the trip over I was in the wrong side had to bother people to move so I could get to the correct side of the aircraft. Travel can be very stressful, this made boarding quicker and easier."

Fordele: "The crew was fabulous! And the ride was on time and had plenty of entertainment."
Ulemper: "My only complaint is that the seats were very tight in the economy class. We were packed like cattle. I know these were the "cheap" seats but for almost $1500 I would hope for a bit more comfort."

Ulemper: "Iberia's flight was late in arriving at the gate in Madrid, and our flight was delayed by 45 minutes (for a one hour flight!). When I arrived at my destination, all the local people (Lekeitio, Bizkaia, Spain) agreed that Iberia is a national disgrace- everyone has had bad experiences flying with them. We have purchased a little apartment in Lekeitio, so we will be traveling frequently, but I will never fly Iberia again."

Fordele: "The personnel AFTER passport control was wonderful, both airport and United. Passport control workers failed to recognize or help move us through to be able to board in time while they allowed other passengers to go ahead who had same departure. Plane waited 30 mins past take off for us."
Ulemper: "Brussels airport staff at pass control needed to acknowledge departure concerns to prevent plane delay of takeoff. Many passengers missed their connection in Chicago because of our delay boarding due to pass control wait and lack of help."

We had to wait for the stairs and shuttle to arrive to get us to the airport terminal. It was especially frustrating because we had nearly no time to get to our connecting flight. The hosts and hostesses were mediocre at best."

Ulemper: "The flight to Brussels was canceled and we had to spend the whole night at the airport until someone started to give us some attention On the way back they put me and my friends very far from each other and we had to pay even for water on the flight"

Ulemper: "On my flight from Dulles to Brussels, the seat cushion was pretty much worn out. Felt like I was sitting on concrete. My butt was pretty sore after the flight. Flight back was totally fine. But it was a small inconvenience. Everything else was great."

Ulemper: "The competence and effectiveness of the boarding crew was deplorable. Everyone looked and acted like it was their first day on the job. If I have a choice, I don't think I will ever fly this airline again. Brussels airport is also a confusing mess. You just wait in line after line with no clear direction. They left one of my bags behind in Brussels as well, and I have yet to receive an update on where it is."

When I was boarding, I had a two hour layover and I still had to run for my flight and they were already boarding when I got there. The food was tasteless. All I could do was try and sleep and pray the flight ended quickly."
