Service was great, Room and amenities were lush. For a BU Alumni attending some University events it was perfectly convenient! Valet was a little pricey...park on the street if you can but the Valet guys offered great service! Valet parking was pricey for Boston!
Room was great; location superb to Fenway for Billy Joel concert, and staff was fine. Valet was extraordinary! However, had to negotiate with staff at desk to get room reserved. Booked at Hotel.com and reserved the Fenway Room which is shown on their website as looking over Fenway Park. When we asked for it upon arrival desk clerk told us a lot of people THINK it looks over Fenway but it doesn't. Even if it did there was construction obliterating any view. (Picture on Hotel.com misleading: hotel is on Beacon Street a block from Fenway Park). He gave us a "Kenmore" room which looked into alley-type street. Asked for refund of difference, told not done, but upgraded to suite. Satisfied with new room..
Wifi was terrible. You couldn't even get high speed wireless in the lobby. You had to pay for it and even then it was spotty at best. For the money we paid for the room, reliable internet service is not too much to ask.
Smelled good, friendly people, the room, the fancieness Issues with my prepaid credit card apparently they're not accepted. This should be noted somewhere when booking. I didn't have another credit card or enough cash. In the end it was worked out but it was unneeded stress. When checking out (645 am) we needed to wait for a bit. There was no staff at desk
Didn't even know it was the Boston Redsox Official Hotel. Lots of sports memorabilia, great creature comforts, staff eager to please. Jonathan at front desk was the standout employee that made our stay even better. He had great tips, suggestions for sights & food and truly made us welcome. Having to leave
The staff at the Hotel Commonwealth was friendly and accommodating. My Mom and I stayed one night in order to attend the Patriot's Victory Parade, and though we opted for a late checkout, we ended up getting stuck on the parade route. We called to let the hotel know, and they were very kind. Instead of charging us for half a day, they went and packed up our room for us, and held our luggage in the bell closet. The hotel was beautiful and the pillows and beds were some of the best I've ever slept in! Will definitely stay again.
Shower head needs replacing room 410
We travel alot and I don't think I have ever stayed in a nicer hotel. The rooms were exceptional from cleanliness of the rooms to the friendliness of the staff. I will never stay in another hotel in Boston but thisone. Nothing!
The staff was very nice. Service impeccable. Beds were so comfortable!!!! We will be back!!!! There is not a single thing I did not like about this hotel. It was wonderful!
Very good location with the subway/trolleystop just across the street. Try the new bar and restaurant at the micro brewery just oposite the baseball stadium. Was not able to make an international telephone call from my room. I even went for advise in the recpeption two times.
Record player in each room. Quality nice smelling lavender shampoo/conditioners. Lovely colorful lighting. Comfy beds/sheets. Good breakfast/coffee. Beautiful view of Fenway. Friendly staff/valet. Excellent location in proximity to a ton of fun things to do in Boston. Would Stay again. I don't have any complaints.
Great staff, clean facility and good sized, comfortable room with a nice large flat screen TV. Fun 60's style rock and roll theme. Directly across the street from Fenway Park, so if you're going to the game, it couldn't be more convenient. I would recommend this hotel, and would stay there again if I ever make it back to Boston. The restaurant wasn't open yet, but was supposed to open in only a week from our stay. It's only a minor thing, but I wish the chair in the room had wheels on it.
The location was great. The staff was friendly. The rooms were cool and a decent size. I ordered a room with one King sized bed and got one with two Queens.
Me and my new bride spent our honeymoon at the verb and had a great time the staff was super nice the hotel is in a great spot to get around the city and see everything Boston has to offer definitely going back one day The only down side to the stay was that it wasn't longer and the restaurant wasn't finished yet for us to try
Nice update to the space. Very convenient location. Good Rates Bathroom walls were slightly discolored, otherwise clean.
Convenient location No true lobby Room smelled musty Inconsistent quality of staff Has a free continental breakfast but nowhere to sit and eat
Everything was amazing . From the wonderful friendly staff to the comfy beds and swanky vintage 60s ish vibe . Love the look of this new hotel and would def stay there again Nothing . Wouldn't change a thing
Convenience to Fenway park which is why we were in Boston. Close to restaurants and bars Airconditioning was not good. Several of our rooms had to request fans. Disappointed pool was closed the first day. That night saw a rat swimming in pool. I know price was based in reds of being in town but was pricey. Could have included breakfast at that price
Spacious room. Clean. Great work space to sit and work on computer. My door was right next to the exit door for the floor and I was woken up at 2AM three night in a row as a roust crowd came back from the bar closing.
-unbelievable location!! Room looked at Fenway -very friendly and helpful staff - Not a lot of rooms, so it feels a little more exclusive -free wifi, although slow -complementary bottled water -very clean and felt almost new -allowed to bring drinks and snacks to the pool (including alcohol) -mostly families and mature occupants -Breakfast is expensive (e.g. $4 cereal, 10 eggs and bacon) -parking is not included (unlimited valet for $40/night) -rooms are very expensive when the Red Sox have home game -wifi was "slow" most of the time
$45 for overnight parking was a bit much. Added to nightly cost blows the comparison of cost to other hotels.
I did not get to check in until after 2:00 so I end up booking rooms to other hotel my guest was traveling Frome Washington DC they was very tied
Very friedndly and helpful staff Perfect location except that comed with a parking nightmare. Parking for customers should be more accesible and cheaper Price of parking

This is a hidden gem! As long as the Red Sox are not playing the neighborhood is nice and not a noisy and whacky place. The hotel is gorgeous and the pool located on the top floor just steps from a private deck overlooking Boston. This is a real 5 star
Modern and comfortable with many amenities. Breakfast not offered until 7am on Saturday despite being in the Longwood medical area where hospital staff begins work at 7. Parking was $45!!!! I was given a handicap accessible room although the hotel was nearly empty! And staff was not friendly.
THe bathroom sink did not drain. There was no large towel for after my shower.

Great location! Bathtub didn't drain. Housekeeping started knocking on door at 830 even though checkout was not until noon. Felt a bit rushed to leave.
Excellent staying! Great location and great breakfast.
Great location! Very clean and the complimentary breakfast was so convenient. I would definitely stay again. The cleaning staff knocked on my door twice on checkout day and I left around 11ish. Felt a little rushed to leave.
The view No
As i needed a closed place to CBHospital, the location is perfect. The room is quiet spacey but the bath quiet small. They have free wi-fi, micro + frig, which is connivance. Very bad isolation! even after changing my room to another side and upper level i still could hear the noise from outside ( and the people passing in the corridor) !
Stayed at the Inn while attending classes at the medical campus. The location is perfect, literally across the street. The food court provides an option for fast food so you have an alternative. I wound up walking 10 minutes to the Stop and Shop on Tremont and Huntington for healthier choices. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean. The hallway carpets were getting tired. The rooms were smallish, at least the one I got was fine for me. If it was for a couple staying for medical visits, then it might be snug. Free Wi-Fi is a plus. I didn't try the exercise facilities which were a block away. No real shortcomings, particularly if you were coming for business or medical needs. Not an entertainment venue, but if you wanted someplace that is not as expensive as downtown and were willing to use the T, this provides an option for 1-2 people.
This was not a cheap hotel costing over £140per night No breakfast and reviews had stated Best in Bioston what rubbish
There were no bath towels in the room and it took 20 minutes to bring them. The door lock reprogrammed itself and I couldn't get back in until I went to the desk and had the key card reprogrammed.
Mouse in room--ugh! Was told I would get patient rate but was told it wasn't available when I checked out. 100 dollar difference which was a shock
Close to hospital Staff helped to figure out the Kayak reservation. Getting to the hotel and finding my Kayak reservation was not in their system, causing a lot of extra work to get it resolved. Delayed check in for over an hour, which was not appreciated since we had traveled many hours through bad weather to get there. PLEASE FIX THAT ISSUE!!!!!!! Room is too expensive.
The longwood Grill restaurant where the food was good and the staff friendly and helpful. The constant sound of Sirens and the fact that in my 5 days there, the only selection in the soda machine on the eighth floor was Coke a Cola.
Close to the conference centre. The room was not that great.
The staff was exceptionally helpful. The gentlemen at the front desk went out of his way to help us find answers to questions we had about the area. Restaurant at the hotel was very good and stayed open late which was great for us as we arrived late and were hungry. Room was very nice, all the ammenities one would need and very clean, however the mattress was very uncomfortable. My husband nor I slept well and felt it was the mattress.
Right next to children's hospital Had no hot water for shower Grille service is not great
A group of four of us all in our mid 20's.. Went on New Year's Eve. Great room, comfy beds, location was alright... Food around was convenient tho. It is a hospital area hotel so beware you might here ambulances but it's a city, you could hear that regardless. Anyways, the staff were SO GREAT! And it was well worth the price.. Lets be real, you're not staying in a hotel like this... To just stay in the hotel. For sleeping, getting ready and with great staff... I called it a win! Location... But if it was anywhere hott it would be more expensive so... And no breakfast :(
The second room on the sixth floor was much better than the one on seventh. The ensuite bathroom was better designed and more practical for family use. The staff was not very accommodating and insisted on checking out and checking into another room for the extra day I had booked. In hindsight that was better because I got a better room.
I was un aware that there was no private room and this place is a youth hostel. I canceled on the spot and then was stuck with a $400 hotel room because Boston is over priced for no logical reason.
There was no a/c and no fans. It was hot hot hot in our room on this summer day. The kitchen was almost a joke. We could not find a single spoon or fork! They do not recycle - shame on them!
