staff was very kind and pleasant.also efficient1 room is clan and comfortable. breakafst Euro 250 is too high!
the food and they use linen fabric in the cover bed which is good and the spa its amazing staff there. no
very close but out of the dirty frankfurt. The city car goes directly to the Messe in like 15 minutes
Impeccable rooms; fantastic selection of fresh fruit and juices for breakfast; extremely accommodating staff. Great valet service, including bottles of water and some complimentary fruit for our onward journey. The staff were taking their customers a bit TOO seriously: The live entertainment in the bar was stopped because of the complaint of ONE customer although the rest of us enjoyed the music. The same happened during breakfast when a 70+ customer complained and the music was turned off - creating an eerie silence during breakfast.
Very friendly staff, although 163 rooms the hotel feels like a "boutique" hotel. Everything was just great. When I visit Frankfurt next time I will surely book Villa kennedy again.
Hotel is very nice and stilish, close to the airport and city center
just perfect in every way.... Staff excellent
facilities and helpfulness of all staff could not get the room temperature below 19 degrees which made it very warm for the nights
Staff very efficient and friendly. Hotel room very nice. Did not find a lounge - only bar. The music was very good but we would have liked a quite place at times.
If you would like to feel what it is like to be a superstar. This is the place to go. Everything is just perfect. The room, the restaurant, the bar/lounge with live music, the hotel it self, the spa/welness, the location and the staff!!!!!!!!!! The only thing to mention is that the sauna is not mixed. So spa-ing nicely with your wife or partner together is out of the question.
It is second time in the Villa Kennedy, and the feeling was perfect again. If you want to feel as GUEST,this is the place in Frankfurt.
Good value hotel with an excelent locaton in Frankfurt. Many nice restaurants in ths area. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Hotel does not have an elevator so be preparred to carry you luggage up 1 or 2 floors, other than this hotel is a good value for the money. Business traveler review.
Staff helpful, a little disorganised but on the whole good. Room good for the price, clean and tidy. No complains I enjoyed my stay Only minor things like - My first towel smelled of smoke, bed not the most comfortable, and bright street lighting so room was quite light.
location 199 euros too high compared to the hotel facilities.
nice aereas are close we had to pay cash to get a bill the water was cold, no hot shower in the evening, the collegue in the morning in another room had the same problem
GREAT LOCATION, PLEASANT AND HELPFUL STAFF, ENOYABLE STAY
This is a small and simple hotel but clean, quiet and the location could not be better. It only takes a five minute walk to the old bridge and across the bridge is already the inner city. A few steps from the hotel there is also an old world section with nice bars and restaurants.
Locarion That they say they have parking but if it is full you are screwed, which was my case. No other option but the street which is full and has many restrictions. So please put: limited parking. I only chose this hotel due to parking availability, which was not supplied in the end. And the reception guy was not helpful at all and didn't give me any more options that just say park in the street.
Nothing at all Hotel deserves zero stars, Dirty, unkempt, depressing, Customer service NON existent.
hotel staff was very nice and friendly, lokalization, no
It had 3 stars but this is really misleading. It is far below average 3-star german hotels. Old furniture, old rooms, old elevator (from 1969!), poor and not professional service, wireless internet was not working from my room..... I had a big problem....they sold my room to someone else and gave me a much smaller room which had a seperate toilet at the end of the corridor.
Good value for the money and location was nice. Their website says they have air conditioning and it doesn't although they did provide a fan. Also I called to ask if the wireless internet was free and they said yes. When we checked in, they tried to charge us for it. The internet was not hi-speed like advertised either.
staff were great - room was just what a needed and the location was spot on - away from all the Messe craziness!!
Excellent location to visit Frankfurt. A 10 - 15 minute walk across the Main pedestrian bridge and through the Old Town, sees you in the heart of the city. Good breakfast. If you are lucky, parking is possible right outside the hotel, otherwise a multi-storey car park (about 10 Euros/night) is available just round the corner. Not that it's a big problem, but room spec given on-line is that all rooms have flat screen TV. All the rooms that I saw on the 5th floor had 14 inch portable TV's, certainly not flat screens. They need to change their 'spec' so that people know what they are getting. Would not deter me from revisiting, but if you are a 'business' visitor and need all the news channels, it might be a problem.
The staff were very polite, helpful and spoke English. Contintental breakfasts were good. Upon arrival phones did not work that day. On another day the internet wireless system did not work. Free parking on the street was usually not available. Pay parking was about two blocks away and was convenient, but "moderate" price was a little more expensive. About $30 for 24 hours.
Access to central Frankfurt and to transportation system. Good newspaper selection available at breakfast. Great kitchen; straight forward hotel accomodations. Access to a computer terminal would be helpful. Many travelers might wish to make a quick check of e-mail or look up the hours of a museum. One terminal, maybe one that causes the guest to standup so that they don't spend a lot of time "surfing" would be appreciated.
Clean, centrally located, very affordable Parking situation, had to push hotel van out of the way for a place to park
good social life in the area Room and bathroom very small
Close to center of town no ironing
It was very convenient for reaching downtown Frankfurt and for getting to other nearby locations (via the Sudbahnhof just a few blocks away). The room was clean and satisfactory; price seemed reasonable. Breakfasts were very good. All the staff personnel were polite and helpful. I stayed there previously (maybe ten years ago), and if I visit Frankfurt again I would try to obtain a room there, assuming that the price structure remains about the same. The only improvement I might suggest would be an instruction sheet in the rooms concerning the operation of the remote control for the television. This is a small matter; I figured it out with the help of the maid.
Very nice neighborhood, easy access to the Messe (only a few stations from the main train station + tram every 10 minutes to the Messe), very helpfull staff.
location The doors to the rooms seemed a bit wimpy
We only stayed here for a short time on our way to airport for next mornings flight
Everything was great, a big quiet room with everything we could expect.
Nice room, nice additions left for you Hard to locate the hotel from the road
Convinient location: 10 min walk from South railway station, 30 min walk from Central railway station, 20 min walk to the down town. With public transport - 10 min to Central station, 10 min to the center. Liedl supermarket very close to the hotel. Perfect for tourists who like extended stay for reasonable money. There is a possibility to use typical household facilities (e.g. ironing room, washing and drying machine, refrigerator in the room, kitchenet in the room)
I stayed at Senator Hotel for 6 nights and 7 days. I enjoyed staying at the hotel for example, facilities was good, the room was spaicous, good to eat out, and access to shopping areas. However, end of my stay, next door was very noisy, it was very difficult to go to sleep. I was wondering if you, the hotel, could put a sign, for example, after 11 pm, "People should consider other people, noise (volume of TV and conversation), the sign might helpt people reconize.
The ability to cook myself a simple meal. Curtains need to block out light more effectively. There was a small additional window in the kitchen area which had no curtain at all and a Neon sign (not lit) advertising room vacancies which still admitted a fair amount of light. Next time I shall ask for a different room!
generous room size for a single room. comfortable chair, working desk. well placed lights. good heating. good fridge and shower. great location only about 150 metres from bus stop for direct airport service. also close to south railway station, and wide range of restaurants and pubs of sachsenhausen district, and for rest of excellent city transport network. good bakery/cafe and lidl supermarket right next door. 5 euro daily charge for wireless. reception basically unattended. really this is just a furnished studio room in a converted apartment block with breakfast room ( extra charge)nothing wrong with that, and it suited my purpose. does not really feel like a hotel. close to railway lines, but only a background noise with closed windows - not enough to keep you awake.
good value for money, clean, not too near the centre but reasonable walking distance.
Location Insufficient cooking utensils for 2 persons,ie.one cup, one saucepan and none available upon request !
clean, good location (residential area), access to transportation high price for a poor breakfast, inaccurate info in the hotel's site (distance from the Messe)
The location of the hotel. The price of the room.
Location of hotel, fast wifi connection. Good breakfast. Hotel personnel doesn't speak english. Almost nothing parking place in front of the hotel in night time. Lot of noise coming from outside the bars and the pubs. I woke up at 4 am because I've heard any conversation of hotel guests from another room (very thin the walls of room). I've seen the little spider with cobweb on my bed and lot of the dust on the room equipment!!!
Very good location for the night life, and close to the city centre. Noise.
The room was very comfortable and very clean and had a private bathroom. The location provided for a scenic walk to tourist attractions in Frankfurt. The hotel is in a 'colorful' neighborhood of Sachsenhausen and there are quite a few pubs in the immediate vicinity. So, most nights were rather noisy with the night life of bar-hoppers and police.
location was good. you should have cash money, you can not use credit card in that hotel.
The staff on check in were lovely-that staff member continued to be kind and courteous throughout my stay! He even organised for another staff member to accompany me to the bus stop with my heavy bags-very kind! I was woken up relatively early by a couple checking in to the room next to me. There was no soundproofing-it seemed that the room had been divided in two to form my room and their room. This was an inappropriate and undesirable end to my stay-no traveller needs to hear that much of their neighbour! Can't speak for the soundproofing of the other rooms though-they are probably still their 'original' size.
It was very close to the pubs and lots of resturants to choose from. The room was very dirty, we could not check in until 1240, no parking, did I mention that it was dirty?
It was a beautiful half timber building. Clean and the location is very good. You have to ring the bell to get into the hotel everytime. I didn't like the wait.
Closeness to town, ability to meet budget travelers Noise! Lots of noise from the bars in the area. The walls are paper thin!
Walking to the nearest train station and near to tram and bus stop. Many restaurants and eating spots and are walking distance None. But a bit noisy during happy hour because of the adjacent pub and restaurant
