Ulemper: "There was a flight attendant who was of an older demographic who was extremely rude to me and not accommodating at all to myself, my husband, or my children. She had an attitude and seemed irritated by my questions, concerns, and overall being there. We had an issue with seating and no seats together with our 4 and 7 year old."

Fordele: "The food and beverage service in Coach was great as usual ... The new 777 ER 300 was really a nice improvement over the aging Airbus planes previously flown Entertainment systems in coach were top notch with great entertainment choices to view ..."
Ulemper: "3 4 3 seating results in very narrow isles ... during the longer flights on the 777 the isle seated passengers lean into the isles making going to and from the restrooms in ( coach) a bit of an obstacle course"

Fordele: "Though I was never sent an email for my daughter's check in, I had a different reservation for her but still under my name and same email, when I called on the phone the people were pleasant. They still never provided me with an email though and information allowing me to have my daughter checked in. they only provided me with her reference number."
Ulemper: "All in all we had a poor experience and my family and I were disappointed. I'm about to book yet another ticket for my brother, but this time I'm not considering Swiss Air. Just so you know, I'm a very positive person and appreciate every polite and courteous gesture. Unfortunately this experience didn't allow me to do so."

No we were late 28 minutes my luggage did not arrive, I'm 4 hours from Warsaw, I wait for luggage which was lost and miss my connection do travel forward. I got home at 8 pm. She check my carry on and they lost , I have only bag with lipstick in there"

Ulemper: "The seats were a very old style. Not very comfortable. Alcohol was required to be purchase which is not typical in international flights of this length."

Ulemper: "You need more time to make the connection in Zurich from domestic to international.....very rushed to do in less than one hour...."

Ulemper: "The airline changed a seat reservation after I paid for it. The Swiss support staff told me on the phone they would call me back. They never called back. I called again and was told the seats are changed and I can’t do anything anymore. The return flight seats also disappeared from the reservation. I had also paid for it. The support staff when I called again put back the seats for my return flight. I tried to check in online. Not working. Tried at least 50 times. Not working. Called the support staff. They told me to call the check in support center. I called the check in support center at least 50 times where mi was told the staff are busy and could not answer the call. I called at 6:00am next day where I was told by the check in support staff that my ticket had an issue which they did not know exactly what was the issue but prevented me to do a check in. I drove more than 2 hours to the airport where finally I could check in but I was told that my return flight seats had disappeared again. They managed to put them back again. I hope this time it’s finally ok. The support staff on the phone told me I could get reimbursed for the seat reservation I had paid for for the on going flight. The Swiss staff at the airport told me there would be no refund. Swiss is terrible"

Ulemper: "Penalising passengers who travel on board with only a smaller bag by making them put this under their seat in front in front of them whilst others are bringing on two huge bags"

Fordele: "Fast journey despite a short delay it arrived on time."
Ulemper: "Felt a bit hectic on the plane, possibly due to other passengers being slow to board."

Fordele: "The crew really went out of their way to accomodate and made sure I found my seat, was entertained and was comfortable throughout my flight."

Fordele: "There were a couple of stewardesses who were nice and helpful to the passengers. The food selection was fairly good. Drinks were available at regular intervals. Flight was comfortable except for some turbulence during landing."
Ulemper: "There was no pre-boarding for families with kids. They waited until the entire Business and First Class passengers boarded in Zurich before they allowed us. This was different in Mumbai where Swiss had families with kids board early. The airbus was not well maintained as fara s cleanliness was concerned. There were bathroom supplies on the toilet floor. Crumbs and food particles on the seats/crevices from the earlier flight"

Fordele: "The children had easy entertainment at their hands. The planes were clean and comfortable. The food had a Swiss touch and the chocolates are always welcome in my family."

Fordele: "I like that Coke Zero was available."
Ulemper: "My chair was stuck in the fully reclined position for a good portion of the flight and my wife's chair was constantly being knocked into by the passenger behind her because his seat was too short for him. When the seat in front of me was reclined, the screen was only a few inches from my face. There was a loud, obnoxious passenger next to me who almost got into a fistfight with another passenger until the stewardess came to calm him down."

Fordele: "I was amazed to get a sandwich on such a short flight!"

Ulemper: "Terrible service. Crew was unfriendly and unhelpful. There seems to be an element of arrogance when flying with this airlines."

Ulemper: "The handle of the pull-stick that slides into the suitcase was broken off with the pull-stick sticking out of the TUMI suitcase. Used a pen point to release it and get it back into the suitcase. No handle so it was impossible to drag the suitcase. The ground personnel representing Swiss Air at the Boston Baggage carousel was a novice, had never filled out a baggage claim form before. Told me they would phone me. I am a bit skeptical about this claim. Not sure if it was Swiss Air of the local ground personnel who damaged the suitcase."

Ulemper: "The boarding process at Zurich airport was a mess. There was no communication at the gate to tell passengers what to do or where to stand"

Fordele: "Great service. Professional. On time. Friendly. Attentive."

Fordele: "Swiss planes were clean and everything worked. Flight attendants very friendly. Food was superb. Plus, the connection in Zurich, as always, was seamless and painless. Will definitely give Swiss my preference when looking at trans Atlantic flights."
Ulemper: "Nothing."

Ulemper: "I was supposed to put my backpack into "bulky baggage". I couldn't find it. When I got on the flight one of the attendants yelled at me for having my bag. Also the signage was incorrect where we had to go thru with our boarding pass. So I stood in a couple of lines that didn't work."

Fordele: "Everything was great while aboard!"
Ulemper: "I wished to upgrade to business for aditonal $1000 which resulted in a 15 wait . There was only one person allowed to do that and she was obviously owerwhalmed. I got a smile out of her eventually but the whole process seemed wrong considering the amount of money i spent on that ticket:( Wish whomever I got to first at the counter were able to make the change and spare me the walking around and waiting."

Ulemper: "They didn't let me on the flight because I'm disabled pure discrimination"

Fordele: "Stewards were great. The food was good and generous."
Ulemper: "Seat rows were too close together and seats were uncomfortable for the 11 hour flight."

Ulemper: "Crew took way too long to do the drink service. With only one bathroom in the back, they blocked the aisle for 45 min"

Ulemper: "On 4/23/2016 I missed connecting flight from Zurich to Zagreb because Miami - Zirich flight delay and horribly slow security in Zurich. To make the issue worse "somebody" (???) automatically deleted ny return ticket portion."

Fordele: "The food was really good. The selection of TV shows and movies were nice, and kept me entertained the whole flight."
Ulemper: "Boarding was confusing. The same questions were asked 3 times, I couldn't tell if that was security protocol or just glitch in their process. Seats were uncomfortable."

"Boarding was on time (if not a little early). The flight was unfortunately not properly catered for snack boxes in main cabin. This is likely a one off instance, but it’s a long flight for no food options other than pretzels and Biscoffs. Service was attentive and friendly. This particular flight offered Delta’s DeltaOne lay flat first class seats. Would highly recommend. Flight left on time and arrived early!"

"Anyone that purchased a Delta 1st Class seat should have access to the Delta Sky Club. My wife and I purchased 1st Class tickets for a Delta flight from SeaTac to Washington Dulles but were denied entrance to the SeaTac Delta Sky Club because we did have an American Express card."

Ulemper: "This plane was too full for social distancing. I was really skeptical about this flight as it relates to the COVID pandemic."

Ulemper: "100% as always.. delta has never disappointed! Keep up the good work guys"

Fordele: "The crew was good, and the airline tried to make our wait in the airport as comfortable as possible."
Ulemper: "The four-hour delay was really hard. Since it was in DC, I don't know why it took so long to get another plane."

Fordele: "The plane arrived in Atlanta ahead of time and thus we were able to start boarding earlier than usual. The gate agent kept the process in order and moved the boarding process along nicely. The pilots also got us to Baton Rouge 28 minutes ahead of schedule which was appreciated. Nice flight."
Ulemper: "Same issue with getting passengers seated once on the aircraft and then getting their luggage stowed takes too much time."

Ulemper: "Tightly packed seats made for discomfort. My knees were touching the seat in front of me."

Ulemper: "My screen wasn’t working. It would have been great if it was."

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed over two hours"

Ulemper: "- more communication (any!) about bag status when landed - flight delay due to too many/too heavy baggage. Long delay was said to be due to making sure our baggage would accompany destination. Upon arrival, bag was left in NYC but this wasn't communicated. No info on bag status at airport or via ema"

Ulemper: "Both Copenhagen and New York need to go a better job on the flow of passengers through Passport control."

Ulemper: "First class seats were too close together. It was very difficult to get out of you seat into the aisle. Food was not what it should have been for 1st class There was no wall between 1st class and coach giving little privacy when I worked my laptop. it was in direct view of the middle seat in coach"

Fordele: "The on board food was amazing, nothing like I’d ever had on a plane before. I was also pleased with the choices for entertainment."
Ulemper: "The seat was not comfortable in economy. I could not sleep and there were no air vents. Every time I tried to rest my head on the seat in front of me the screen would turn on and get super hot. I wish there was a cover or something you could turn the screen completely off."

Ulemper: "The crew members were very rude and they called me an IDIOT!! Yes they did because the forced me to check my carry on bag and i didnt want they are racists"

Fordele: "The crew was dealing with NOVA/DC residents"

Fordele: "Coming from Europe Alitalia and Delta did an EXCELLENT job at assisting the passengers get rid of their luggage just as soon as we were done going through customs... I don't usually fly on this route, but I thought it was perfect. Transfer between Delta terminal was a breeze too..."
Ulemper: "I usually don't fly from JFK. The food court was expensive (18 dollars base price from a burger seems a high even for an airport. I don't fly from NY normally - so maybe I need to tune my expectation for the locale, and it may have NOTHING to do with the airline company."

Ulemper: "Boarding the plane was a hassle as well as delays to Clean up and fix seat belts. Very u coordinated crew as well no one paying attention to what one was doing."

Fordele: "The service is very good from the beginning. The flight attendant is very caring thanks so much."

Fordele: "The crew was fine, flight was completely full and they were very prompt in their service. The power outlets didn’t work. The lights were on, but when I plugged in they didn’t charge."
Ulemper: "Very uncomfortable. Seats very close together for a flight that lasts over 5 hours."

Ulemper: "The aircraft is too old, MD-88. I don't know how Delta is flying that type of aircraft. Is very risky"

Fordele: "Another safe flight. Crew was very attentive."

Ulemper: "Flight cancelled due to weather that was never bad but on the potential of bad weather. Had to scramble so my 18 year old son was not stranded overnight in a strange place and Delta does not help. Only rebooked a flight itinerary for the next day for a 4 hour flight with connections on a 1 hour direct flight. Spent an hour on line to figure out what to do. #neverdelta"

Fordele: "Food was good and so was the movie selection"
Ulemper: "Boarding was slow and the interviewers were disrespectful. Also I was upgraded last minute and I could never understand the system by which upgrades to first class are granted. Just because I used my points to buy the flight I wasn’t eligible for an upgrade to the one seat left in first class even though the flight is full and I am the first one on comfort+ upgrade list and there was no one on delta one upgrade list."

Fordele: "We took off, flew and landed without incident. Crew was polite."
Ulemper: "Even though we booked months ahead, we weren’t provided seat assignments until we got to the gate. We were put in the very last row with less room than normal and no window."

Fordele: "Short trip"
Ulemper: "Very hot ride"

Ulemper: "The volume controls on the tv we’re pretty poor. Was either too loud or too soft with only 5-6 volume settings."

Ulemper: "They said we would get there on time even though we took off late so that what we told our ride. Ended up about 30 minutes late. Did not like that."

Fordele: "The crew was friendly, relaxed, made everything seem like a breeze"

Fordele: "Nice people. Very helpful."
Ulemper: "LOST MY BAG IN BOSTON BEFORE EVEN TAKING OFF!!!! Did not make it, and then won't deliver it when it makes it to Kathmandu! This is most distressing."

Fordele: "I could be wrong, but the seats were very comfortable (for a plane) and I felt my knees weren't as close to the seat in front of me than other airlines. So that's a plus."

Ulemper: "Paid $28 for a Wi-Fi package that didn't work. No refund...."

Ulemper: "Late flt"

Fordele: "Comfortable flight, ample leg room, and the chairs were pretty plush. Comfort+ is pretty nice"
Ulemper: "On my first flight they forgot to turn the wifi on. I have unlim data but obviously can't use while in air; no big though."

Ulemper: "My flight got to New York so late!!!! I missed my international flight."

Ulemper: "not enough leg room and space. The business class should be at the minimum for economy."

Ulemper: "My second plane had sooo much moisture coming from the cooling system it looked like the passengers were getting gased and I kept getting wet from water condensation falling on me in a window seat as I tried to sleep from having such an early flight to begin with only to be told it's delayed 3 hrs without explanation."

Ulemper: "Vi skulle fra Aalborg til Austin TX. Først blev vores fly fra Amsterdam til Atlanta cancelled. Vi blev ombooket via Detroit. Men så var flyet til Detroit forsinket, og køen i immigration var så lang at det ikke kunne lade sig gøre at nå flyet til Austin. Nu sidder vi så og venter på det næste fly til Austin, og er meget trætte. 2 ombookninger på samme rejse - det har jeg dog alligevel aldrig oplevet før!!!"

Ulemper: "Bad weather. Bumpy. Low visibility. I can understand. I am a diabetic. Held for hours. No opportunity to purchase food. Two days to travel to CIU from Detroit, then flights cancelled. Rented a car to get home."

Fordele: "My seat was very near the front ...two rows behind comfort class seating (which was mostly empty). WiFi services and entertainment were offered...to those that brought along their own receiving devices."
Ulemper: "My seat happened to be one row in front of the Exit Aisle Seating rows....I wasn't aware that this meant having to sit straight up the entire time without the chance of reclining my chair back into the Exit Aisle's space.The 2 hour and 13 minute flight time sitting straight up really worked up my sciatic nerve into a flaring frenzy. I Forgot to bring my iPad Pro with me on this trip...and had no adequate access to any entertainment content."

Ulemper: "Connection flight from LAX to Seattle was dropped off of booking completely. When Delta was able to fix the changes in Sydney Australia they put my husbands ticket as a standby instead of putting him in an assigned seat and reported that they couldn't fix it that we would have to wait and get to LAX before the changes could be made again. There was a one and a half hour flight delay from LAX to Seattle. From Sydney Australia to LAX entertainment system didn't work the whole entire flight, they were screaming children the entire flight, and Delta had double booked seats on several different people. There were no apologies and no compensation for any of the incidences."

Ulemper: "My above head storage was occupied with airline stuff. They boarded a little late and there were no separate lines for front and back of the plane."

Ulemper: "Everything perfect although 757 planes seemed tired. Istanbul TA airport lounge is second only to Emerites."

Ulemper: "It was a very long flight and the leg room is too small especially for a very tall person."

Ulemper: "Check-in counter: clerk was “mute”, no greeting, no words about the gate, luggage destination, passport paper. Poor communication: 90 minutes delay, but no announcements Inconsiderate: when the “business class bathroom” located between business and economy classes, was unoccupied, the fly attend Commanded not to use after standing there for 10 minutes. No tea or coffee with breakfast Gate has no information: no destination, no time indicated"

Fordele: "The crew were all very nice and the food was good."
Ulemper: "The AC never seemed to work well...on the entire 10+ hour flight...so, that was pretty miserable. Especially sitting on the tarmac for 2 hours waiting for a mechanical issue to be fixed. That was bad."

Fordele: "Food was good as it is typical on Turkish Airlines."
Ulemper: "The check in process was terrible. I specifically requested seating together with 2 small children and an injured daughter. The check in process was the most chaotic I've seen in recent times. No clear order, no clear counters. We bounced back and forth before we checked in our luggage. At the gate, another long chaotic line of multiple questioning and bag/body search before we boarded buses to our plane. When we boarded we found out we were split at 2 or 1 seat arrangements (out of 5 travelers). After complaining, there were able to seat at least 3 (with one lap child) together and 1 separate. The plane was uncomfortably hot all flight long despite notifying the flight attendants. The one restroom ran out of soap in the first hour of the 11 hour flight. They quickly ran out of a choice for lunch option and snacks. I fly Turkish Airlines frequently and I usually am satisfied, but this was exceptionally bad experience."

Fordele: "Food and crew amazing..I guess Turkish airline going to be best"

Ulemper: "I was disappointed that the two female flight attendants on my side (seats A&B) did not come across friendly, and any request appeared to be a bother. At one point I requested bread and butter, the flight attendant seemed annoyed and said if she can find some, and never came back to me. I went to the galley, where a male flight attendant was working on something. I requested some bread and butter from him, was met with s smile, and was able to locate a roll and butter for me in under a min. Please note, I do not think this was a gender issues, it just happens to be the situation with this case, and I specified it as I do not know the names of the flight attendants, but the airline should be able to identify who was working the different sections."

Fordele: "We received kosher meals and snacks on both legs of the flight which we really appreciated. The flight attendants were pleasant and helpful. In flight movie and music selection was good. Bathrooms clean and well attended. Flights were on schedule."
Ulemper: "I generally don't like flying. Sorry. Seats were very tight in Economy. Not enough water, though we usually bring it."

Ulemper: "Late arrival from Cairo & last minute gate change added to confusion of time zone changes - was supposed to be 2&1/4 hour layover but I just made last call for DC departure."

Ulemper: "There was a steaward who was not very friendly whenever I asked for something which was a right he would make faces. He even passed my row and did not serce us and I had to ask the steawrd of the other aisle who was very friendly and nice. I was very desappointed by his behaviour. It was my first time on Turkish Airlines."

Fordele: "І was a passenger with your wonderful Airlines from IST to IAD last week Nov 3rd 2017 and because of misunderstanding and conflict with captain my flight was canceled by him. І don’t remember his name correctly but it was five letters and both vowels (2,4) were “E”. Could you please to let him know that І would like to apologize for my behavior and assure him that it was nothing against him but more about hormonal issues which І believe every woman has more or less during the pregnancy. It is a really big issue for me and my body now. Once again, І do apologize for my actions and that conflict. І didn’t mean it."

Ulemper: "Customer service in Istanbul was tribble . No help at all with any kinds of questions and issues. The airport staff were unbelievably rude and non responsive, as if they were there to turn off the passengers. Will never travel with any airlines that has to stop in Turkey"

Fordele: "Friendly staff good food. Good selection of movies."
Ulemper: "Might just be a cultural thing but the boarding was a clusterfuck. Not really any order compared to flying out. Everyone just kind of lined up without any regard to the boarding groups."

Fordele: "Food and service were good ,good entertainment"
Ulemper: "Seats were really uncomfortable ,there were problems with boarding ,good wasn't sufficient"

Fordele: "The food was the best airplane food I've ever had and the alcohol was free. (By contrast, our SAS flight cost nearly twice as much, left two hours late, causing us to miss our connection, the food was medicore, and the alcohol cost extra). The warm towels were a nice touch. I also appreciated the video regarding in-seat stretching exercises, which were particularly helpful on a long flight. It was nice to board from both the the back and the front of the plane."
Ulemper: "The seats were too cramped for an 11+ hour flight. One minor annoyance: the flight left in the morning and remained sunlit the whole way as we were heading west. The passenger behind us was trying to sleep and complained to the crew about our shade being up even though she was not wearing the eye covers the crew had given everyone. The crew asked us (politely) more than once to put the shade down, but the electric light was not sufficient for our reading. I don't fault the crew for trying to accommodate an unhappy passenger, but it was an imposition on us as well."

Ulemper: "I didn't really like anything."

Ulemper: "Old plane with questionable food, only few movies. Not impressed and considering not using TA again"

Fordele: "Plane was more comfortable this time. I was able to put seat back a bit to sleep."
Ulemper: "Food choices were poor. For a long flight, it would be ideal to offer things for people with allergies. As a celiac, I was unable to eat most of what they offered me and there were not a lot of options. This is difficult on such a long flight."

Fordele: "Excellent service, staff and food. All flights ran smooth, food and beverages were great and service from the crew was beyond great. During the fight, besides the food and drinks, we had lots of entertainment and games in the tv devices. I will definitely fly with Turkish Airlines again in the future."

Fordele: "Boarding was timely. Would be helpful if you started lines by boarding group so there is some semblance of order."
Ulemper: "Overhead announcements were difficult to understand. Cabin Crew were inefficient in their service, going back and forth numerous times because they forgot this or that. There's no point requesting a special meal if you have dietary restrictions, because they don't seem to have a way of knowing you've made the request."

Fordele: "Desserts were good. Food variety and options were good. Comfort/Entertainment on flight were exceptional. Timely take off and landing."
Ulemper: "The variety of food was nice, but the main coarses were below average-Dry chicken as well as over cooked pasta. Trash wasn't collected often enough. Flight crew were friendly enough, but I raved about last years Turkish Airlines flight, but this year it was just so-so and I'm not exactly sure why."

Fordele: "Very friendly airline, on time always, good in-flight entertainment¿"

Ulemper: "I was disappointed that the airline proactively cancelled the flight I booked and then refused to rebook me onto another airline and failed to offer me a return home within 24 hours of the flight I'd originally booked. Then, when trying to resolve the situation, the airline repeatedly gave me the runaround, directing me to talk to various people in person, and on the phone, before finally making clear that they wouldn't rebook me. Why waste my time and give me false hope if they weren't going to do it?"

Fordele: "Decent food & entertainment but that doesn't change the fact that my flight didn't actually go to my destination, which is the purpose of booking a flight after all, no?"
Ulemper: "Rerouted us to Adana without warning. No help in rebooking flights. No instructions as to what we were supposed to do. Had to stand in several very long lines - incredibly disorganized. Lost an entire day of my trip."

Fordele: "The entire inflight experience was great from start to finish."
Ulemper: "I approached the Transfer Desk when there was no line and asked the person working if it was possible to switch to an exit row seat because of my height. The man helping me lied to my face and told me that he could not make the change because the flight was full. when I got on the plane, there were over two dozen empty seats. It was very clear that he just did not want to invest the few seconds it would take to address my concern, or give me a credible reason why he could not make the change."

Fordele: "The Knowledge that I would never fly Turkish airline again"
Ulemper: "Cancelled flights without contacting me Delayed takeoff for 9 hours. Took off knowing they would not be able to land in Istanbul and dropped us off in Izmir Did not cover the cost of food at the hotel in Izmir. Took us to a hotel over an hour away from the airport"

Fordele: "Comfort of the plane and pleasant crew. Food was terrific."
Ulemper: "Might have liked more option of current movies."

Fordele: "The flight attendants were lovely, they worked smoothly and did their best to manage an unpleasant situation. The facilities are also excellent, and as always, the fresh flowers and hand lotion and such in the toilets was a nice touch."
Ulemper: "The food was not up to standard this flight, mostly passable, but our pasta inexplicably tasted chlorinated, as if the noodles had ben boiled in pool water. It's a mild complaint, though. Plane food isn't always sterling. The true problem, unfortunately, was in the form of other passengers. Despite having an excess of available space to stretch out, our seats were surrounded by utterly out-of-control children. Crying babies is understandable, it can't be helped, but if your children are running up and down the aisles [including during the landing], sitting on other passengers [myself in particular], and lying down in the aisle to sleep [and the flight attendant had to ask multiple people whose child that one was because no one wanted to own up, apparently] they have no business being on a plane. I don't even care about the annoyance at this point, their behaviour was inherently unsafe and the parents just didn't care."

Ulemper: "Turkish airlines do not care at all about passengers from other countries (other that western Europe and USA) - my flight was cancelled but the airline reps did not bother to tell 150 plus passengers until the end... passengers got angry and one rep took us to the hotel desk, confusing with boarding passes and passport control on the way - forcing us to waster 3-4 hours; we were provided hotel accomodation at midnight (flight was supposed to take off at 9 pm - maybe they were avoiding to spend on out meals???"

Fordele: "Even in economy, TK serves two full meals, with beer/wine as beverage options. They also give an overnight bag with slippers and other helpful goodies"
Ulemper: "The level of service by the cabin crew was really disappointing. One of the flight attendants asked me to switch seats with the woman seated next to me (although I had pre-selected my seat). I obliged, although I think that the cabin crew and/or gate agents should have given more thought to giving her a better seat assignment, like a bulkhead seat. This woman was uncommonly large with mobility problems, so it was difficult for me to get up when I wanted to. The entertainment system malfunctioned about an hour into the flight, and I had to flag down a cabin crew member on 3 separate occasions to ask them to look into it. No one ever bothered to follow up or attempt to resolve the problem. To make matters worse, the entertainment system is connected to the entire electrical system, so I couldn't use the "call cabin crew" button, or the overhead light - meaning I was stuck in the dark for HOURS. Only after I demanded to be given another seat did anyone do anything, and with zero apologies."

Fordele: "DC to Istanbul: Good food and nice flight experience. Helpful staff were always ready to help. Istanbul to DC: clean, maintained aitcraft, nice crew, good food."
Ulemper: "DC to Istanbul: Broken bathroom lock. Not very clean aisles. Very few English speaking crew. Istanbul to DC: Ran out of second option lunch. This seem to happen frequently. Most of the crew members were strangely not around. This resulted in two overworked crew members and lots of trays sitting on our laps for sometime. I was curios what all the other ones were doing."

Fordele: "Free beer, edible food, free tote bag with earplugs blindfolds and (crappy) ear phones"
Ulemper: "Very small seats, long layover in airport with minimal entertainment options, security risks of spending layover in terrorist attacked airport, flying from prague we had to fly 3 hours East only to fly 12 hours West...24 hours of travel to fly from eastern Europe is not necessary. Next time I'll pay more and avoid flying through Istanbul."

Fordele: "Great flight/airline, but boarding was a hot mess!"
Ulemper: "Overall, we had a great flight and will probably fly with the Turkish Airlines again. But boarding was an absolute mess: the "secure" gate area was tiny and way too small to accommodate all the people on the flight, and the temperature in that area of the terminal was blistering hot. Combined with an organization that was messy, let's just say that all of us were REAL happy when we finally boarded the plane."

Fordele: "the flight from Istanbul to the U.S. was amazing, I watch 3 great movies and some wonderful meals. Even though I,flew economy I,felt like it was business class - foot rest pillow and blanket and they hand out hot towels and packs with toothbrushes and socks and slippers. I will definitely. Fly. Turkish Air again based on,this very positive experience"
Ulemper: "There was one flight attendant who,thought she was all that ..she was rolling her eyes at passengers and had a snotty look on,her face."

We did not know the gate number until one hour before departure, because there were only 3 monitors in the area that we sat in and there are so many flights, so the flight did not appear on those monitors. Only the one main monitor in in the center of the airport is large enough and there are not seats in that area."

Fordele: "Nice entertainment, nice services, very kind service crew"
Ulemper: "Everything was so good i can't say; i didn't like something"

Fordele: "Nice goody bags and special treatment for the kids, and thoughtful that they brought kid-friendly headphones. All the comforts the airlines used to give for free are still there on Turkish, with no extra charges for food/checked bags, etc. Great food, they got our special vegetarian meals correct (as opposed to a big hassle on another airline). Very comfortable flight."

Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Customer service was snarky, unapologetic, and almost happy that I could not change the date or get any kind of refund."

Fordele: "Friendly crew provided excellent service. Has live TV for sports. I was able to watch couple EPL soccer games and the NBA playoffs. It also has 3 live camera views from the mounted cameras outside. It was really cool."
Ulemper: "In economy class and in the middle. has no room to even straighten out my legs. Guess they followed American airlines' lead in adding more rows to squeeze in more customers. Too bad"

Fordele: "All was fine on the flight."
Ulemper: "The woman at the "Groups" check in area on 4/20 Saturday morning had the personality of a cactus needle. She was condescending and sent us on a wild goose chase to pay for our bags. Why didn't she just send us to that area in the first place to take care of the check in process at the same place?"

Ulemper: "Plane was very cold. We had the last row of seats which meant the flight attendants were making a tremendous amount of noise behind us for the majority of the flight. Crew was not friendly at all. They were more interested in the other crew members than the guests."

Ulemper: "We were put on standby. We expected our names to be called for seat assignments but we didn’t expect we could just swipe our boarding pass and our seat assignment would show. It’s a nice feature but I didn’t like that it wasn’t clearly explained to us."

Fordele: "Fantastic staff excellent aircraft"
Ulemper: "5 hour lay over in Frankfurt. Sandwiches are all the same 2 choices on all aircraft"

Ulemper: "I missed somehow the distribution of headsets, and I never got one (after asking for one). (Un-)fortunaltely there was no movie I really wanted to watch, or classical music for my taste (recitals, chamber music). Anyway, this is not a major problem, just a tiny glitch. The random boarding went surprisingly well, although I'd prefer the more structured version. Until there is bread, butter and cheese, I am fine with the bland food."

Fordele: "The food was good, along with the service."
Ulemper: "Medical emergency in the row in front of me and all of the crew blocked my television screen so I could not watch my movie. I was sitting in first class."

Ulemper: "Quite satisfiedoverall"

Ulemper: "the rows were very close to each other, and space was tight between the restrooms, not much room for moving around and having some exercise"

Fordele: "The crew was helpful and friendly."
Ulemper: "Checking in on-line was not very "user friendly". Our aircraft had to be replaced causing a 2 hour delay, part of which was an ATC sequencing delay. The 50 minute ATC delay couldn't be controlled by LH, but the original equipment replacement was at the bottom of the overall delay. My "A" window seat in economy had significantly reduce foot space due to a metal box installed in the space. The seat was not particularly well designed, but it's economy so you get what you get. The food was average at best."

Fordele: "What is not to like? I was pleasantly surprised by the Munich airport ground crew and it didn’t stop there! We boarded promptly and efficiently. Once on the plane, service was excellent and the food and drink options were delicious! The entertainment selections were intriguing and engaging. At the end of the flight, we cleared the plane quickly and we’re given adequate directions to customs. It was a great experience."
Ulemper: "Nothing, the experience exceeded all expectations."

Ulemper: "Travel in flight was good. Flight was missed due to delay in the airport and they made it clear that this was a bulk rate ticket and any rebooking was almost a favor on their part. That being said with some chatting to the service agent she softened up and started to be more helpful. Wish she could have been more helpful from the start and ended up being rerouted through another city despite a codeshare flight leaving directly to my final destination which would have been the normal switch. Oh well, those are the breaks with a bulk price ticket. Once in flight, service was very good and plenty of open seats, so room to stretch out."

Ulemper: "The flight was scheduled way, way too close for a comfortable transfer since the second leg of the trip was to go overseas having to go through 3 different queues for passport, boarding and security lines. Need more time to pass the long lines and still be able to catch the connecting flight. Not a smooth connection."

Fordele: "The crew was wonderful, as is always true with both Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines (both of which I traveled on as part of this trip)."
Ulemper: "I would highly recommend both Lufthansa and Austrian adjust their entertainment systems. They seem not to weight much the top films with, say 75% Rotten Tomatoes reviews or higher. Even if there were fewer options for cost reasons, I would think they'd still have more watcher enjoyment. Rather than pad the list with the likes of Boss Baby or Going out in Style or even a mediocre 60% offering in the Fast and Furious franchise. Wonderful crew, though, can't say enough about how polite and attentive they are."

Fordele: "They fed us eventually. We landed safely. Crew wasn't rude."
Ulemper: "I am only 158cm tall (5 feet 2 inches) and I had no leg room! My knees hit the seat in front of me. The seats were also so narrow that you could not change position at all, so it was very uncomfortable for a 8.5 hour flight. And I weigh less than 45 kg (100lbs). I can't imagine how anyone bigger than me felt. My seat was toward the back of the plane, and it took the crew over an hour to reach us once they started the drink and food carts. One time my row got entirely skipped for the drink cart, even though we were awake. This was a problem because they didn't come by for another 5.5 hours with more water/drinks, and they did not give us water bottles for that time period like Delta does. The food wasn't tasty, but it was eatable. The movie options were great, but that was all I could do on the screen because half of mine did not respond to touch, which meant no games and I could only select movies on the left half of my screen. Weird."

Ulemper: "I selected my seats online before the flight. It seems my seat assignments were changed (many other customers complained of the same issue). I have siliver status on United and was told that there was no way to be considered for upgrade to different seat. I was told that the list was already full of higher priority customers. Yet at the same time the same employee announced those seats were available for purchase at $200 Euro for others. It seemed in both cases Lufthansa shuffled around passengers out of their selected seats for unknow reasons and also werent honoring frequent flier status programs for changing seats. Furthermore, the in seat entertainment did not work and it took quite a bit of effort including trying to move seats to get the flight attendants to reset the system (they said it would affect other customers who didnt have problems with their entertainment system). 8+hour flight is long flight to not have the system working. eventually the fixed it a couple of hours into the flight."

Fordele: "The overall experience was great."
Ulemper: "Nothing"

Fordele: "We had nothing to complain about and much to be happy about. The seating in economy (seats 36A and 36C and an Airbus 330-300) was generous compared to other airlines we've flown recently (e.g., on a 777 with United on the way over, and that was "Economy PLUS!). The food was much better than the United flight, and really, it was almost too much. I'm home 14 hours after landing and I'm still not hungry. They were also very generous with the drinks and worked to keep us well hydrated with water and juices. The crew was very pleasant and accommodating. Overall, it was a great experience and I will certainly look to Lufthansa first for my next transatlantic flight."
Ulemper: "My one gripe was that it was very hard to hear the audio on the in-flight entertainment system. I even abandoned one movie I really wanted to see because I couldn't follow the dialogue. Also, I discovered late in the flight that the view screen pivoted and this would have helped in enjoying the videos more. Here's an idea for Lufthansa: how about adding "Tips" to somewhere in the Entertainment system to improve your seat, viewing, and other experiences. For instance, I wasn't aware that the head cushion on the seats were adjustable to better support your head. One last thing, on the entertainment system, it appears to be browser based, but sadly lacks a "Back" button equivalent."

Ulemper: "Delays in Nice led to a narrow window for connection. More than ten people were left behind - doors practically closed in our faces - and Lufthansa was wholly unhelpful in rescheduling flights. Lines to speak with agents were absurd and then attendants had to take breaks instead of resolve issues. There were no solutions offered, only poor communication and an unwillingness to accommodate a significant number of customers who were inconvenienced. Finally, a "random inspection" led to a handful of passengers being surveyed by the German local police. Interestingly, a number of us were Hispanic Americans. The whole experience was extremely negative."

Ulemper: "The food was not very good even for airplane food-- couldn't finish my chicken even though I was hungry!"

Fordele: "Very friendly crew! Very comfortable seats. Bailey's offered free! I had never been on an Airbus 340 before--stairs down to the bathroom was interesting."
Ulemper: "Food--but probably no worse than other airlines."

Fordele: "I arrived safely."
Ulemper: "Staff was rude at the terminals and a lot of frowning faces on the plane. My seat was constantly bumped by crew with no acknowledgement. The boarding was confusing and disorganized to the point the boarding agent was not sure which gate handled which group ( they use 2 for these big planes)and kept calling out the wrong information. Passengers could not believe it. Tight seats for an overseas flight."

Fordele: "Food & Entertainment were OK"
Ulemper: "My seat was 32C , me being disabled (wheelchair). My wife seat was 32 A and was DEFECTIVE. It could not be lowered towards the back, actually it has only the fixed position (all the way up). The lady from the seat before my wife's (31A) was lowering her seat ALL THE WAY. my wife protested, the crew tried unsuccessfully to adjust my wife's seat. Finally, instead of considering my condition and relocating us to some other seats (there were several free on this flight), the crew's lead stewardess (Friederich ?- I could not read the label, she kept it under her jacket) decided to upgrade that couple seats by moving them into the Business Class."

Ulemper: "The quality of food was pitiful, not to say gross, in the economy class. I'm comparing Lufthansa to other European airlines and to what Lufthansa used to be. Alcohol was of the most basic quality. Yes, I know, it was economy class, but it's gone down. Entertainment was hardly better. No new movies and the variety of what was available was poor. Lastly, the choice of seats in the tail (of 747-8) was poor judgment on my part. We were being wagged like fleas on the dog's tail. The only good part was that due to the narrowing of the plane we had two seats and no neighbor to jump over, plus extra room between the window seat and the window. The end of highlights. Can't help but compare every airline to Turkish airlines, where even in the economy class they make you feel like royalty. These people know how to do hospitality and make you want to come to their country."

Fordele: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed assistance with boarding. I attempted to ask the check in agent at the boarding gate and she was extremely rude to me as well as other passengers. The assistant's behavior displayed annoyance and an unwillingness to assist passengers."

Fordele: "Great service."

Fordele: "Crews on all flights were very good."
Ulemper: "This is an overall review of all flights we took this time. Food served in Economy on the international flight FROM US was terrible, and just a little better on all other flights that we took this time. But i noticed that food served on international destinations FROM US on any airline is terrible in general. Space between the seats is limited, very uncomfortable even for a petite woman. Child meals are too sweet, my kids ended up eating my salads, and part of my meal, because they didn't like their food. On the flight from US, kid's meal had 3 chocolate bars on top of other sweet things, which is too much. Give kids fruit bowl instead. I will not order child meal again."

Fordele: "everything except the fact that no explanation was given why the plane was delayed by an hour and a half"
Ulemper: "Food was not very good for a few euros mote per passenger food could improve a lot"

Fordele: "Why am I getting this email. I am not this person taking this trip..I'm frustrated with this ...I talked to the the airline already numerous times and still I am getting emails from Lufthansa and kayak."

Ulemper: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Ulemper: "Plane is super old and outdated. Comfort seat is not, comfortable, very tight. TV screen is not good quality, with the old controls on a handset. No touch, no 1/8 inch audio jack (it has the old 3 holes one). Wifi for streaming freezes every other second. Just make a face lift to the plane, everything else is good."

Ulemper: "Passenger who needed wheelchair assistance it took KLM 50 minutes to get him off plane which delayed our boarding. KLM not prepared to handle passengers with needs"

Fordele: "One crew member was very good but all were not very available or checking on people. I had a seat that I purchased and it was very hard to recline I only found out that it did if fact recline it the last hour to hour and a half of the trip! It was a difficult push back to get it to recline"

Fordele: "The crew was nice and helpful (our flight was 2h late so they put us on the one before in business class for us not to miss our connection)"

Ulemper: "I bought tickets thrue you for me two months ago Iit went well but on the last few days I also bought ticked for my brother and his wife and it was a disaster night mare for them bound for Montpellier too to attend a wedding the damn suitcase didn’t get to final destination it was at Orlando but got"

Ulemper: "Paid for extra legroom, but very narrow seats not comfortable. Very difficult to sleep. Old plane--could not hear movies and unclear screen. Music sounded OK and choice was good."

Ulemper: "The flight advertised meals..a small pastry was served an hour into the flight. I asked when the meal would be and was told a few hours...which turned out to be breakfast..i wated all night for food that only came an hour before landing. Now hungrey and tierd.I.will not be flying klm ever again !!"

Fordele: "All cabin crew were courteous. Refreshments were light. Check stuff were helpful, they did devise that the flight was full and due to space hand luggage would prefer to be put in hold free of charge. We did not have any problem with this. Plane was clean."
Ulemper: "Service was a little slow going through the gate, it seemed to take a while for everyone to get on board."

Ulemper: "Exceptionally unhelpful customer service when asking about extra kilos/bags. Just quoted the online info back at us. We simply wanted to know how much would be charged if the bag was 1-2kgs overweight. We could not get a straight answer, just quoted the unclear company policy. Extremely frustrating and annoying. KLM offer a superior flight experience - it is a shame their terrestrial customer servic does not match it!"

Ulemper: "One of the senior stewardesses we're very rude. Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

Ulemper: "It was delayed quite a bit and more on-time updates would have been appeciated."

Fordele: "Everytime she passed she was hitting me or I had to hold my drink so that she wouldn't knock it off"

Fordele: "The constant supply of food that was offered to you. The crew was nice and always helpful."
Ulemper: "The process of boarding in Amsterdam was not organized and felt more stressful than it needed to be."
