Fordele: I booked a flight via kayak for 12pm out of Port of Spain to Grenada & some how the Airline books me on a 9pm flight. I don’t have to mention the inconvience of this issue as I was stranded in POS. For 9 hours. I missed the events I had plan in Grenada. I am disappointed in both Kayak & the Airlines
Ulemper: Communicated with each other so I can be booked in the proper flight.

Fordele: The attendant was pleasant and very helpful. The pilot was clear and precise and Liat was ontime.
Fordele: I loved that the flight was not only on time but it left earlier than scheduled.
Ulemper: I don’t like when they spray the aerosol in the cabin before take off.

Ulemper: Boarding is not LIAT's fault. The physical situation at Barbados' Grantley Adams International airport is completely inadequate as it relates to the convenience of access for intransit passengers.
Passengers are in a queue in the open (hardly any area to empty pockets, etc) to go through security before entering the in-transit area to make the connection. It is EXTREMELY inconvenient, but may be due to lack of planning of resources for passenger flows. Doing an intransit connection on LIAT is not convenient, is somewhat of a challenge.
Fordele: I recently had surgery after I had purchase my tickets to travel, and needed crutches to get around, which was very challenging for me. I was not sure how the service would have been, but I am glad that I used LIAT. The attendant at the check-in counter was very helpful. The young man who assisted with the wheel- chair thank you and also the air hostess on the flight. Great service will use the service again

Fordele: Pilots went on strike. Flights were canceled.

Ulemper: It's was a bit slow. And hot
I was surpised
Fordele: I've flown with LIAT before and it was always a horrible experience. I was forced to fly with them this time because they were the only flight available. I was expecting the worse and even made sure that I had at least 15 hours between this flight and my next one but I was pleasantly surprised. The flight was on time, the flight attendants were really nice. It was a good flight.
Fordele: I was pleasantly surprised to note that staff at the Maurice Bishop International Airport were very courteous and hospitable
Ulemper: Flight was overbooked which resulted in me having to take a different flight with 2 additional stops and arriving at my destination almost 3 hours later.
Fordele: What's not to like. We boarded on time and the flight left on time. Airport and crew were friendly AND professional! Satisfied.

Ulemper: complimentary service( tea/coffee) was announced but never given
Fordele: On time departure, pleasant flight, professional staff and crew.
Ulemper: They were rude, dismissive, inept, and unprofessional in every way. Avoid this airlines at all cost. This is not my first experience with this airline, but it will certainly be my last.
Fordele: Friendly flight attendants, overall our flights were on time, my luggage was the first to come out. Consistency in every flight. Seats were ok. Clean. Very organized boarding process.
Ulemper: Our first flight got delayed and then we missed our connection and every body we asked said we were ok. They even said the connecting flight would wait for us which wasn't true! In the end we were easily accommodated into the next flight and the flight was good.
Fordele: Being on time, and very courteous flight attendants
Fordele: They were no delays on that trip .
Fordele: I missed my 10:45 appointment because of the delay and change of plane .
Ulemper: The flight was freeeezing
Fordele: Comfortable clean aircraft efficient flight crew. Left on time arrived on time.
Ulemper: It was hot so some water could have been served during the flight or guests provided with a small water bottle. There was only 1 flight attendant but she could be more pleasant and welcoming of passengers.
No more Liat for us
Fordele: Our flight attendant was polite. Smooth flight. Clean plane.
Ulemper: Staff at checkin counter didn't want to be bothered with us. Seemed more interested in what they were doing later, or who they were planning on calling, and less interested in checking us in and taking our baggage.
Ulemper: Seabourne Airlines flight was late in departing! Liat counter wouldn't let me check-in for my connecting flight even if there was enough time. This made me miss my other connecting flights and cost me to book other flights!!!
Probably the worst airline ever

Fordele: CRew was very helpful and reassuring about how missed connection would be handled

Ulemper: Boarding was very slow. We waited on the tarmac for 15 minutes with the plane empty. Consequently, we were 20 minutes late and missed out connecting ferry by 4 minutes. Being on time is not a priority.

Fordele: I eventually got where I need to go.
Ulemper: Liat's customer service is horrible, so be prepared for rudeness and don't expect any assistance or solutions. Their process is a simple one. They take your money and in exchange will get fly you to an island. It most likely will not be on time, so be sure to schedule a long layover if you plan on making a connection. Please note: If your carry on is a little over in weight. This your problem, not theirs. If you have concerns around connections. This your problem, not theirs. If you have to check baggage and there are any concerns. This your problem, not theirs. If you want to confirm your flight details. This your problem, not theirs. If you are having a good day or bad day, do not expect sympathy or any sense of human emotion from their team. Follow these steps and you will be fine.
Don't fly Liat
Fordele: Do not fly Liat. A month before our flight, they called and said they decided not to fly that day anymore. In that time, all the other flights had gone up significantly in price, they only offered a refund or to move our flight to another day. We had to fly that day and Liat cost us several hundred extra dollars. Do not fly Liat. You never know if they will just cancel your flight.
Ulemper: I didn't like anything. Don't fly Liat.
Delayed for 3+ hours
Ulemper: Delayed due to airline misplacing necessary paperwork. Crew was extremely uncommunicative about situation.
Fordele: There was poor communication and up to 12/30/2016@ 9:30 am, I have not received my luggage from my return flight on 12/28/2016! That should speak volumes about the service!

Liat Flight 315
Fordele: I like the safety briefing very much. The recorded idea was a good one.
Ulemper: Didn't like the long wait standing in line before boarding.
Unprofessional and unapologetic
Ulemper: Liat moved my flight 5 days later (from Friday to the following Wednesday) causing me to lose my entire trip. The re-fund was a fight to get. Ridiculous.
Fordele: The aero plane.
Ulemper: Had to buy 3 tickets to eventually get one where a plane was actually delivered, albe it 2 and a half hours late and the. Second leg, also Liat 1 and a hours late. One of the cancelled flights included 2 international legs to be rebooked and paid for. With no refunds as yet.

Ulemper: Airplane has no air until we were taxiing No beverage service on a 50 min flight... and a 30 min flight before then

Sit anywhere you want
Ulemper: Someone was in my seat. I informed the flight attendant so that she could sort it out and direct me. Her reply was, well, it's a crowded flight- they may have been assigned that seat too. What!? Where do you you want me to sit, ma'am?
Leaving island any time
Fordele: Because the morning flight was late I reached home earlier than scheduled hahaha. I winder what time NY original scheduled flight left. Thanks always.
