Ulemper: "Flight left Pisa late. We had 90 mins to make a connection in Munich and we barely made it after running as fast as possible through the airport. Having to take a bus between the plane and the gate in Pisa and Munich is very inconvenient."

Ulemper: "We ware delayed 3 times on our way to Europe and instead on LUfthansa back to USA we ware with Italian Air DOlomiti and United. I think we paid premium to fly premium not to hang in airports. Shame on you. Hope that your bosses will see this."

Ulemper: "There was a delay to the flight but they didn’t bother to tell us until we were already on the plane so we were stuck inside the plane for hours when we could have been inside the airport"

Ulemper: "We were emailed our flight was on time, but in fact it was moved from FLR to Pisa which caused us to miss our flight in FRA. We were left with out help for over 2 hours and missed available flights to the USA and were then put on an Condor flight with NO service, charged 100 euros for a bag already checked but then never arrived in PDX and I am told it will arrive in 2 days at the air port but they can not say when I will see it at my home. Our 14 hour trip lasted more than 27 hours of total frustration."

Ulemper: "Flight was over one hour late. No Jetways at either end (busses)"

Fordele: "Great to have an experience of the way flying used to be with dinner, unlimited beverages and a staff that was always available. Add the modern entertainment and the 9 hr flight went very well!"

Fordele: "We were about to take off on time when the captain announced computer updates that took another 2 hours + 4 total engine shoot downs and another refueling - we got in Munich 2 hours later than schedulled almost missed my flight to US."
Ulemper: "Perhaps those updates should be done during down times and not at peak times when people are scrambling to make it on time for other connecting flights."

Ulemper: "Organization around the boarding gate was chaotic. Everybody was pushing and there was no organization of various boarding positions to create order. The flight was going to be very long, so I paid the big dollars to fly comfortably in business class on the 787. What a waste. The power seat didn't work. The flight attendant had to remove the seat cushion and manually adjust various controls each time I wanted any position adjusted. And to top it off, my bags didn't make the flight. They came in about 22 hours later and are being sent to my home. But, they will transferred to another carrier for delivery and I may not get them for another few days according to the message we received."

Ulemper: "The flight before us was delayed so it delayed our flight. The airport didn't seem to know what to do and finally drove us out to our plane. This should have happened at least thirty to forty minutes beforehand so people weren't rushing to meet connections or missing them."

Ulemper: "cause it was a sauna. Temperature of the airplane was waaay to hot. Individual seats didn't have control of any vents. I had to get up and walk to bathroom area just to cool off."

However, everyone was offered an apology gift in the form of a travel credit due to the inconvenience after the flight. This was a great gift; however, the wifi on the plane was quite shoddy and most passengers were getting restless."

Ulemper: "I had to pay a big baggage overcharge because my carry-on was too heavy. I understand paying something additional but 99€ was unfair. The young woman at check-in needs customer service training. I had to stand in line for half an hour to pay the overweight charge. Since that was the purpose of that entire line, time required is ridiculous. The "breakfast food" was dreadful"

Ulemper: "We didn’t make it to Venice due to delays because Boston wasn’t ready for a snowstorm."

Ulemper: "The plane was too hot. I asked multiple times throughout the flight for the temperature to be reduced, and it was not. I was wearing light jeans and a short sleeve shirt, and I was sweating all flight. Each time I asked throughout the duration of the flight, I was told it take a while for the temperature to decline. It's one thing to be uncomfortably warm on a flight; it's another thing when the flight crew lies to you. Further, I was not the only one to request that the temperature be reduced. This made an 11 hour flight particularly miserable."

Ulemper: "Extremely rigid rules. My flight was the day of the blizzard in Boston, Tues, 3/13. Despite 5 calls to Swiss to reroute me out of Montreal, an airport I could actually get to, they would not relent. I finally just drove there and a really nice agent changed my flight since Logan was closed and all public transport was shut down. Even if my scheduled flight from boston wasn't canceled (I have no idea) they were incredibly unhelpful about the fact that I physically could not get to logan in time for my flight. (Mass DOT was asking everyone to stay off ALL roads). THEN on the way home, they would NOT let me fly back to Montreal where my car was!! WAY TOO RIGID RULES. Screw the customer!"

Ulemper: "Seats 23A, 23B were extra cramped on the B777-300ER, even though they are sold as "extra comfort"! due to the video screen taking space between the seats. The seats were so cramped that the overhead light kept coming on, unknowingly, when people shifted in their seats."

Ulemper: "The aircraft was old, with subpar AC. We would either get freezing or hot and stuffy air. The seats were quite uncomfortable, worse than on recent trips with other airlines (Air Canada, United, Air France). Neither of our entertainment systems worked, despite the best efforts from the crew to reset them. Finally, the food was very disappointing for a European airline."

Ulemper: "The WC was so small I could barely even stand in it."

Ulemper: "There was a supposed difficulty with my entry in Europe when I tried to Check into Chicago. I thought that I had to cancel my flight. Swiss air representatives had to do much consultation, which took nearly an hour, while I was standing there the whole time. At the end, I was thanked for my patience and told all should be well and not even given a small upgrade for the distress this caused me. Traveling is disagreeable in general now, and personally, even moreso after this episode."

Fordele: "The flight staff was so kind."

Ulemper: "My baggage never made it on my first flight due to a strike by Swiss airlines crew. The flight was delayed and we were told it was because there was less crew and it was taking some time to get our baggage on the plane. Due to the delay, I missed my connecting flight and was rescheduled for a flight the following day. When I went to get my checked bags, I was told they never made it on the plane and were indefinitely in the first city (Barcelona). I was told to file a complaint once I got home (US) and then they'd forward the bag to me. I did not receive my bags until 5 full days later, in which I had to call every single day and ask to place more request to move the bags from one city to the next. If I hadn't stayed on top of it, I surely would not have received my bags. Also, when I checked my bags in Barcelona, I had to pay an extra 75 Euros for having a second bag although the weight limit was not surpassed. The guy at the counter was really nice and didn't want to charge me but due to the strike, the policy was really strict on a one bag limit. That I understand, but I did file a complaint and request to be refunded that 75 Euros since the service that I paid for was not completed on their end until 5 days later. I'm really hoping they refund me but not gunna bet on it."

Ulemper: "The handle of the pull-stick that slides into the suitcase was broken off with the pull-stick sticking out of the TUMI suitcase. Used a pen point to release it and get it back into the suitcase. No handle so it was impossible to drag the suitcase. The ground personnel representing Swiss Air at the Boston Baggage carousel was a novice, had never filled out a baggage claim form before. Told me they would phone me. I am a bit skeptical about this claim. Not sure if it was Swiss Air of the local ground personnel who damaged the suitcase."

Fordele: "Onboard crew was great and communication was excellent."
Ulemper: "Gate communication was poor. Delay poorly explained. Boarding process very confusing."

Ulemper: "I have used the same carryon on several trips & only Swiss would not let me carry it inside telling me it was a bit high. Disappointed & surprised since never before I was told I had to check-in my carryon containing some essential items."

Fordele: "We got an upgrade to business class and the experience was extraordinary. The service in general, but the warmth smile and courtesy of the flight attendants made the experience fantastic"

Ulemper: "Lufthansa burde presse lufthavnen i Frankfurt til at ge bemanding imsilkerhedskonteollen. Kl 6.10 i morges tog det 35 min i business køen og mindst 50 mini economy køen"

Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Ulemper: "Parents called as soon as the delayed flight caused the young teen to miss her flight, Lufthansa operator verifies only by phone that young teen had a seat in the next flight, UNTRUE! She was ignored at counter, mr. M. Meindle told her to step aside and it was not “worth arguing”! The people she sought direction from, are the ones that left her confused and ignored. Shame on them"

Fordele: "Friendly and professional staff, comfortable and on-time flight."
Ulemper: "Clear up-front notification about first checked bag not being included in ticket price. This info did not appear at the time the booking was made. Very frustrating."

Ulemper: "Maden er kedelig og der var ingen valgmuligheder."

Fordele: "1.5 hour flight, on time and all that one should expect from a good airline."

Ulemper: "It was a horrible experience. I was trying to check in a few hours before my flight, and my reservation just vanished. I was on the phone with VAYAMA twice, and both times they were extremely unhelpful and one of the times just very very rude! I will not be booking with Kayak again."

Fordele: "After the first flight on the incredible new plane, this was a disappointment. Plane seemed old and dilapidated."

Fordele: "Very pleasant experience. Seats were comfortable! Nice to get a pillow and blanket at each seat. Also that the tv had a space for a USB plug!"

Fordele: "Had ridiculously long bus ride from terminal to plane. Plane was parked on the outer reaches of the airport. This happens far too often on Lufthansa when connecting in Franfort. Build more gates!!"
Ulemper: "Business clsss sweats on A321 were coach seats with the center seat left empty. Not sir it is worth the higher fare."

Fordele: "Nothing this was a nightmare."
Ulemper: "We missed our connected flight because or flight was delayed... this does not make any sense. If the flight is delayed, there should be proper high priority check in and bus transport implemented so we arrive at our gate on time. Me and the 2 other passengers had zero chance to arrive on time and were at a loss of breath. And i paid for my selected seats to which i am asking for a refund because what happened was unacceptable. When we addressed our concern, the lufthansa employee told us that u cannot have buses for all the passengers in a situation of a delay.... unacceptable.... how is this the client's fault to miss a flight due to a delay?"

Ulemper: "Notifications for Change of Boarding Gate is not very effective. It is dependent on internet connection and may lead to missing flight connection. It happened to me, in spite of the wifi connection at the airport. Some airlines would put up an electronic notification for the change at previously known Gate. It's also possible to miss Airport voice messages due to temporary impairments travellers suffer from the previous flight. You can call out a passenger for all you want and still miss passing out the message."

Ulemper: "Took a few time to ask for my kosher food. Crew couldn't locate me on the list, than the were out of kosher food, gave me regular breakfast, which I couldn't eat more than granola. It was pre-ordered, and I called to confirm a week ahead."

Ulemper: "There was no update on the status of our connecting flight. The pilot gave an update of other flights except for ours but it caused a bit of confusion. Some people even had to missed there flights altogether! Lufthansa, from the 4 times I have flown with them always seems to be late with no sense of urgency. Ultimately after arriving in Venice, I get an email that my bags did not make it, yet I was told by the boarding agent that the plane was still loading our bags."

Ulemper: "747 Economy seating a nightmare. No leg room especially when the seat in front goes to full recline. Had to use reading glasses to see video screen. Entertainment selections limited compared to other airlines in the trans-Atlantic market. Food bland, borderline edible. Cabin crew just going through the motions. Not at all friendly. Won't fly Lufthansa again."

Fordele: "Main issue was the food was not as expected, it was a problem with kids food. Entertainment was also with No update movies, more of them classic or old."

Ulemper: "Bathroom was at the back of the plane and the drink service was slow so I had top wait overt half an hour to use the bathroom; I was in row 4."

Fordele: "I was so pleased with all the people involved from ticket desk to pilots and stewardesses. I would recommend Air Canada to everyone."

Fordele: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."

Fordele: "I do like the clean aircraft, and pretty precise service. Also it was on time , for comfort the pillow and the blanket was nice . Some airlines doesn’t give anything anymore! Which is awful."
Ulemper: "Just a small thing the lady who was serving and picking up the used cups said I have to finish the juice and after she can take it away. But I couldn’t finish because it was too sweet and I didn’t like the juice. So I had to get up and bring the cup to the back. That wasn’t nice. Also they at but flexible about giving choices. Only one kind of sandwich they had but I think there was one other kid also."

Ulemper: "Airline compliance. The flight was delayed and the connecting flight left without out us. Leaving us stranded at the airport for 4 hours."

Ulemper: "Not a lot of legroom in my Premium Economy seat (10C). Seat itself just OK, the high price isn't justified. This flight is usually about one hour late and it was."

Ulemper: "Seats are not comfortable and there us not enough seats space (to narrow to tight), no entertainment system at all, no power outlets to charge phone / tablet etc. it’s almost 2020, airplanes must include those elements as standard."

Fordele: "Absolutely nothing. Despite booking business class flights 3 months before departure date because we had to attend a very important wedding. Swiss Airlines overbooked the flight but didn’t warn us in advance. This meant my husband was forced to pay over 8 thousand Euros to charter a small private je"
Ulemper: "So That we could attend the wedding early the next morning in Oldenburg. They then had the audacity to void our return flights. Luckily I spoke with a lovely lady at Lufthansa, explained the situation and she re-instated return flights for an admin fee. Will never ever use Swiss Airlines again."

Ulemper: "My checked in baggage did not arrive with me, the staff told me it'll arrive the same day in the evening but it did not and nobody informed me, I only found out after calling them 5 times (which 2 times they hung up on me after putting me on hold). My bag only arrived almost 35 hours after i already landed Hong Kong, without being able to tell me when exactly and made me sit and wait for them to deliver it at mid-night."

Ulemper: "The flight attendant in the back needs to be more educated"

Fordele: "Nothing, we never got to go on our flight to Vienna. The only good thing is the manager, Servando, found us an alternative route after some delay. Even then, we had to haggle and really fight for fair treatment for a mistake that was 100% the airline's fault."
Ulemper: "Our seats were involuntarily given away by the airport staff. We were never notified until we were scanning our tickets to board in. At that time, we had already checked in and received our boarding passes, as well as checking in 3 bags while we were traveling with a large group. There was no way we wanted to volunteer our seats, especially since we had a transfer flight to catch. We clearly stated we did NOT want to volunteer our seats at the ticket counter. No staff notified us until we were about to get on the plane to board. The flight supervisor was very rude and unprofessional, offering us no alternative solutions. I was really disappointed with such a grievous mistake by the airline, and I would not recommend flying Austrian Airlines unless it was absolutely the only airline available. They need to fix their processes for authorizing when they volunteer a passenger's seat. This caused our group a lot of stress and almost became a logistical nightmare."

Ulemper: "May bags didn't make the transfer and were sent on to me the following day."

Fordele: "It was perfect, very few people, great service"

Fordele: "boarding/deplaning relatively quick. plenty of leg room in emergency row seat"
Ulemper: "only provided ONE meal on an 11 hour flight?? how is that ok? people were very hungry. when i asked about that, the disinterested flight attendants tried to convince me that they had in fact provided “two services” -they apparently think a small packet of crackers counts as dinner. shortly before landing they served a stale ham sandwich (8 hours after the only meal). Food quality was poor as well. during booking there was not an option to indicate dietary requirements either. not impressed with austrian air overall."

Fordele: "The economy seats had as much leg room as the Premium Economy seats on Luthansa, so the comfort over a long flight was better than I expected."
Ulemper: "The charge for checking a 2nd bag was $100 which I thought was much too high. Food was average and not enough given that we were on the plane for over 10 hours."

Ulemper: "My flight was Dec 11 at 8:00 from Budapest to Vienna. And from Viena I have to fly to Minsk. So on Dec 10 at 10:00 pm they send an e-mail to let me know that the flight from Budapest to Viena is canceled. I am glad that I decided to check my e-mail before I go to bad. So I try to call Austrian, but they work just from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm. I start to search all the info the site of Austrian, and find one phone number that seats be working 24 hours. So finally I got a person on the phone who was able to help me. ..."

Ulemper: "I wanted to buy an checked-in luggage, but Austrian site did not worked properly, repeatedly gave an error message. I ended up buying it at the counter desk, in the airport, at a much higher price."

Fordele: "Nothing! I ended up losing my plane ticket because of Austrian Airlines lack of empathy with me."
Ulemper: "First I lost my United Airlines flight because of security reasons. I checked in Guatemala but I was delayed at the Airport's security too long, it was beyond my control. Consequently I got to the boarding gate right when they were closing. Consequently I lost all my connections from then on. The United Airlines was very empathizing with me and my situation and they issued me other boarding passes at no cost. United Airlines suggested me to tell the Austrian Airlines about what happened and they were sure the Austrian Airlines would understand but they were wrong; no understanding on behalf of the Austrian Airlines."

Ulemper: "Waited longer to start boarding the plane than the flight took. There are 2 gates in Lugano "airport" and no plane or flight at the other gate. Shouldn't be this difficult. The inflight crew was nice and attentive for the little time we saw them but the ground crew never ev n bothered to make an announcement. Just had us sitting there like a heard of cattle."

Ulemper: "Aircraft was older 777 and lavatories weren't very clean. Upon landing in Vienna, my mobility walker (tagged to be brought up to me at jetway) was sent to my connecting flight to Sophia. The flight crew refused to intercept it and have it brought up to me at the aircraft. To make matters much, much worse, the flight crew eventually gave up and left, leaving me LOCKED inside the jetway for over 30 minutes after calling for a wheelchair. The replentishment crew refused to let me out of the locked jetway. Only after the wheelchair arrived was I let out of the locked jetway. I was taken to the Austrian Airlines service center where I lodged a formal complaint. Supervisor/Rene refused to upgrade my seat in any fashion to compensate for my distress. He did, however, arrange for me to given access to the VIP lounge and then taken to my VIE-SOF gate. Had I had a shorter layover, I would have missed my connecting flight."

Ulemper: "It took us 2 tries to get there due to weather and they had us waiting in the airport for 12 hours in the middle of the night. We first flew to Lviv and then they turned the plane around and came back as we were landing. I appreciate that they did this for safety reasons. When we got back however at 2:30am, they did not provide us with a hotel and just gave us blankets and pillows to sleep in the airport. They also offered us only a piece of bread with ham and cheese and a coffee for the next 12 hours until the new flight left. Not a pleasant experience."

Fordele: "This time it seems I had a little bit more leg room. Which makes a big difference!"

Fordele: "The flight was quick with a light meal once we were at cruising altitude. Friendly staff."
Ulemper: "I have no negative comments about this flight. Everything went well."

Ulemper: "Flight cancelled morning of the flight and our direct flight on Austrian Air turned into a flight on Lufthansa with a layover in Munich. Not pleased with their handling of the situation and their very blasé customer service"

Ulemper: "Our baggage did not make it to our final destination"

Ulemper: "No proper food service. Even to the passenger of Amsterdam no dinner was served. No inflight service. It looks like domestic flight. I will think twice to travel by KLM. The check-in staff at counter was absolutely arrogant. Staff ar boarding gate was nice."

Fordele: "Crew was amazing. They adjusted the seating arrangements so there was an empty seat in every row to give passengers more space. Very thoughtful and much appreciated. They served delicious meals, snacks, and water. They provided headphones, blankets and pillows. They took very good care of us."

Ulemper: "At the check in they made me pay 50€ for my luggage. This is really upsetting because from Houston to Venice they didn't make me pay. Either the website wasn't transparent or the lady at the desk made a mistake. Very upsetting, one luggage should be included."

Fordele: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Ulemper: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

Ulemper: "Paid for extra legroom, but very narrow seats not comfortable. Very difficult to sleep. Old plane--could not hear movies and unclear screen. Music sounded OK and choice was good."

Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."
