Fordele: "From curbside check-in to landing the plane, overall excellent service ! Very pleased to find out they offered a shuttle from checkin to the gate. I am having knee surgery soon and the walk from security to gate 34 LaGuardia would have put me over the top with pain! It was a very nice gentleman that gave me a ride to the gate and even stopped to let me use the bathroom. Thumbs up *****"
Ulemper: "The fact that I was charged $150 to check a small cosmetics bag is no loose change ! I would have carried it on but my hand is in a brace and I has to have extensive surgery. Then yoy get to the gate, and they repeatedly asked for volunteers to check their bags for free. I think this is a very unfair policy and try to explain it to the curbside attendant. I literally cannot carry more than five pounds in my left hand until I get bone replacement surgery. I'm also having knee surgery soon and this small additional weight would be caused me excruciating pain ! They didn't care and still charged me $150 for a bag thats no bigger than 12 inches and weighs less than ten pounds. Thats the way you treat your first class passengers? One other quick note: the sausage and egg sandwich? that was served for breakfast was absolutely horrible! Thumbs down !"

Men så var flyet til Detroit forsinket, og køen i immigration var så lang at det ikke kunne lade sig gøre at nå flyet til Austin. Nu sidder vi så og venter på det næste fly til Austin, og er meget trætte. 2 ombookninger på samme rejse - det har jeg dog alligevel aldrig oplevet før!!!"

Fordele: "The crew is always great. I liked the environment was cooler. It doesn't need to be refrigerator cold but keeping things on the cooler side is helpful."
Ulemper: "The boarding process is always horrible. Folks crowd the gate before their class is called. It creates anxiety and edginess. Never a good way to start a trip. While it always goes relatively quickly I feel it should be more organized and folks made to follow a system. Cramming right up against the ticket counter doesn't do anyone any good."

Brunette who wore all red~ like she had a personal conflict with us from the moment we walked on the plane. We were sitting in the back and could hear the things that she was saying about my grandson and myself. She was rude, snotty, had a sassy mouth. I was COMPLETELY APPALLED as to the way we were treated by her. It was a long flight to have someone you felt was bullying you the whole flight to the moment we were exiting the plane. Karma will come back to her one day..."

Ulemper: "Delta cancelled the flight after midnight on Friday morning, and never rebooked me. I still haven't heard from them. In not even sure why I'm getting alerts about baggage claim."

Ulemper: "There were several members of one family on the flight scattered all over the plane. They seemed to want to visit with each other before the flight (making it difficult for me to get to my seat) and during the flight (making it tough to get some sleep). It would be nice if they had been seated together so as not to disturb others. I know this really isn't Delta's fault, but some people aren't very conscientious"

Ulemper: "The seats are awful. If you're 6 ft or taller, your legs barely fit if at all. Boarding is ridiculous."

Ulemper: "I felt singled out by the gate agents for this leg of the flight. The gate agent called me out twice - once just to check if my carry on fit into the sample size container. Then she did it again when we were boarding. I know she knew she'd already asked me before. Because afterwards, she tried to play it off, laughing and saying "I'd already asked you, didn't it". My carry on fit with ease. There were people with larger suitcases all around me but she continuously singled me out."

Fordele: "I had a middle row seat for this 3 hour 50 minute red eye flight. The plane was quite new. There was plenty of storage space in the bins above the seats. My seat was very comfortable. It reclined a lot. The leg room was more than I needed and I am 6' tall. The individual TV monitor was great. Delta made a long flight quite bearable!"

Ulemper: "Delta downsized the plane overbooked by 35, reassigned our seating that we made three months ago so we no longer could sit next to each other. My wife had to sit in one row I had to sit in another Delta did all this without contacting us. This was done to many of the passengers. The seats are getting as ridiculously narrow, I thought I was on Spirit Airlines! Now Delta is charging for bags! One reason I had stayed with Delta was although the ticket prices were higher the bags were free, now higher ticket prices and bag fees! Guess I will have to search for another air carrier. Delta is not loyal to me so I won't be loyal to Delta! Fuel is cheaper so they raise fees!"

Ulemper: "Seat(19c) is in a position that due to its design causes it to be bumped into continously throughout the flight... I lost track of the amount of times I got jostled by passengers and crew. May want to rethink the use of that seat. They ran out of food. Had to wait over 30 min on the tarmac before being able to deplane."

Ulemper: "Going back to Orlando the boarding zone did not change from 1 and I was the last person boarding. I am not a frequent flier so it was confusing to me."

Fordele: "I liked how fluid and easy the landing was. And I especially liked how we arrived to Orlando in less than the allotted time which was three hours."

Ulemper: "I didn't like when I call and ask about the delayed when told that they were waiting on equipment, then when we get to the airport was told that the flight was a international flight that was running late. The Lies!!!!"

Ulemper: "The food was the same snack they give in the evening and afternoon, even though it was morning- pretzel, peanuts, or cookies."

Fordele: "The staff was pleasant and very caring. I traveled with my sister who was in a wheel chair due to he ability to walk long distance and they were just outstanding. And I want to Praise Delta for their understanding and most caring and assistance in assisting me on changing of my return flight due to my husband had a stroke on Thanksgiving Day. I was able to leave out on Friday (11-27-2014) with no problem."

Ulemper: "Lufthansa burde presse lufthavnen i Frankfurt til at ge bemanding imsilkerhedskonteollen. Kl 6.10 i morges tog det 35 min i business køen og mindst 50 mini economy køen"

Fordele: "flyturen i sig selv var fin men var forsinket."
Ulemper: "Flyet var forsinket så jeg missede forbindelsen til CPH i Frankfurt. Det kan ske. Blev omboket til tidligt fly næste morgen. Sådan måtte det jo så være. Men at skulle stå i kø som business pasager i 55 min for at få hotelvoucher og nyt boardingpass var for meget. Economy havde endnu længere kø. Skikkerhedstjek næste morgen i Frankfurt tog 35 min for business og op mod 1t for economy!"

Ulemper: "Couldn't check in online and because I booked pretty late, didn't get the seat choice I wanted. I purchased the flight via the Lufthansa site, but then on check-in, I found out that the first segment was SAS, so neither the Lufthansa site nor the SAS site let me check in online."

Ulemper: "The plane was older 747-400 but that is no excuse for the layers of dirt or dust on the air vents and ceilings. I actually took a photos and will be forwarding to Lufthansa. The couple in front of us actually took a wet wipe and wiped down there area and ceiling. Also the boarding process was a mess we actually were taken by bus to the aircraft that was at the freight depot and had to climb stairs to get on the 747. I’m not sure how they handle the passengers with mobility issues. First time flying with a European airline and I was told the service was better not on this flight."

Fordele: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. Ulemper: "Didn't allow my carry on. Said too big. Same bag was on earlier connecting flight on much smaller plane. Also on flight on Southwest week prior. But larger intercontinental flight wouldn't allow it."

Fordele: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."
Ulemper: "Nothing."

Ulemper: "Our flight was canceled from Amsterdam to Bordeaux and did not receive any direction and had to find alternate flights for ourselves with the personal expense of using our own cell phones. Then our luggage lost for 3 days. Not happy!"

Ulemper: "Pet was left behind at vacation destination as pet's reservation (made and confirmed through KLM) was not found at check in. Waiting for Customer Care to help get pet home and take responsibility for situation and getting no response. Very dissapointed, considering law suit."

Ulemper: "I asked for an upgrade as we are on our honeymoon. The ground staff only wanted to get us on the plane and not try in anyway to recognize us. Our seats were very poor quality, you should immediately replace them! I would have rather stood than sit on the flight. The in flight entertainment is so poor. Absolutely disappointing especially with the head sets not working because of poor ports of connection. The food was absolutely tragic. You should fire your catering company. I expect more from your airline and I was disappointed all the way through. I hope you can provide my wife and I better service and an upgrade when we fly back to Washington DC on Flight AF 0054 from CDG to IAD. I work in the luxury hotel sector, and even the door men and room attendants have more autonomy to wow our guests. Flying AF does not want me to spend any more money with your airline in the future."

Fordele: "Good aircraft, good service, on time, eventless"
Ulemper: "There are two types of foot-rests, both are a nuisance for people with long legs. The one popping up from below one's seat is extremely hard to put back in place. The metallic one folding down from under the seat in front cannot be secured back and is always in the way if the passenger needs to stretch his/her legs. This seems to be a new appliance, and I jut wish they would do away with it altogether. More is not necessarily better."

Ulemper: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Ulemper: "Wish there was more elbow room in the seat. I am a big guy and I was having to squish myself so as to not interfere with my neighbor"

Flight from Paris to Barcelona boarded and once everyone was on board, they told us that we would be sitting there for 2 hours before leaving."

Ulemper: "Initially the flight from Lima was delayed for almost 1:30 and then we lost this connection then Airfrance rebooking to SAS they tell us to take all our luggage’s and check in again it’s was awful and really bad from then walk and spend time we suppose to be quite at home ... the worst was in SAS have ano system and for 1.5 kilos extras you might pay 33€ so after long day and wait, running everywhere with all my staff I see to eat a 11€ menu at the airport with not more explanation from Airfrance .. really bad and worst services.."

Fordele: "This is one of the best airlines I've ever flown. Very nice comfortable planes. Excellent air crew. Everything they do is at a high standard. What really sets them apart is the really great service. I had a problem with WOW air not honoring my ticket due to snow. I had to book at the airport on Iceland air last minute. They didn't have a gate agent who could sell me a ticket - so they sent a manager out from the back office to book us so we would not be stranded due to WOW's incompetence. Booked us just minutes before take off, escorted us through security and onto the plane. Start to finish less than 30 minutes. Amazing service. Their class of service is far above that of major carriers. Iceland Air works harder and makes sure everything is right."

Ulemper: "The booking was too tight. We BARELY made our flight to Minneapolis and the airport in Rehkjavik is way too small for the number of flights coming in at the same time. We were in a winding, snakelike line for security that went on forever and then when we got through, the lines for the gates were mixed up, without proper seating areas and separation. People were in the wrong lines because it was too crowded to see where we should be. This is a POORLY run airport that needs significant expansion and improvement."

Ulemper: "2 late evening flights booked with Icelandair. BOTH flights were then cancelled, leaving us with an extra 2 nights of unplanned stopovers. Today’s flight then departed a further 90 minutes behind schedule. Can’t comment on the food - didn’t feel like paying Icelandic prices for the last time."

Fordele: "The planes are really comfortable and I like the Aurora lights in the deck heads. Good movies. Nice free water."
Ulemper: "The queue for bag drop was massive! There were so many people around that it was hard to get in the right queue and not much direction. I spent over 90 mins waiting to drop my bag and then had to sprint through the airport to get my flight. Thankfully the rest of the airport is very efficient."

Ulemper: "Airport in Iceland cannot accommodate the number of passengers that fly through there. Long lines, no seats, standing for hours. I won't fly Icelandic air through Rejikyvik again. Also the plane departing from IAD to Iceland was old and uncomfortable. Overall, I feel that I had to run the gauntlet of discomfort and tedium before I could actually enjoy my trip----as if the suffering was part of the package. This airport impacts the flight itself. Now we are supposed to accept an hours delay without apology as if that's ok. Standing in line at the airport for two hours in Iceland just makes me commit to traveling less and becoming more selective in my choice of airlines."

Fordele: "The flight itself was nice. Love the free WiFi and entertainment options. Icelandair is one of the most comfortable flights I have been on."
Ulemper: "I am very upset with how icelandair handled luggage for our layover. Our layover was and overnight, 17.5 hour layover. Not a single staff member told us they would be withholding our bags for the entire layover. Not at check in, not during boarding, not when we landed. We had to figure it out ourselves by asking the baggage info, to which they responded with "if you wait 2 hours maybe it will come on the carousel and you can take it." Mind you it is 1:30 in the morning and we had already waited for an hour, not knowing this was the answer. I am extremely disappointed that we could not access our bags and that not a single staff member told us our bags would not come. I've never had a problem with icelandair until now and I strongly hope this does not happen again to anyone else."

Ulemper: "Passport control lines were too long."

Ulemper: "The airport was absolute chaos. No room to wait at the gate, poor communication, no info at the gate, late flights, people crammed into the bus for the plane. Seems the amount of travrlers has simply overwhelmed the airport staff and space. Hot cramped airplane and you have to pay for the most meager snack. By contrast, Jet Blue was spacious and comfortable. Unlikely to travel Icelandair in the future."

Fordele: "There was a fantastic and extensive entertainment selection for international flights (including safe options for kids and a range of genres for adults). Variety of movies, selections of TV shows, music, audio books, and more. Make sure to bring your own headphones if you don't want to have to buy headphones. When the flight attendants of my first flight realized several of us were going to miss our connecting flights (after we kindly expressed concern while we waited to de-plane), they worked diligently to talk to four different outgoing flights and asked them to stall. To my knowledge we all made it on our connecting flights, though it delayed the flights for others whom had already boarded. It wasn't difficult to get additional water, which is important when in air for an extensive time."
Ulemper: "Based on all of my flights to / from in this journey on Iceland Air, they tend to lose time in air or have some sort of ground delay. That said, I would encourage buyers to select flights with at least a 2 hour stop over in Iceland to prevent stress, especially if you want a wider selection of food sonce the airport has more options and IA doesn't serve food for free on any of their U. S. To/From Europe flights."
