Hotel is a good location, within walking distance to SoHo, Nolita, Bowery, short train ride into Brooklyn. I came in on a red-eye and arrived at the hotel at 6:30 and they had a room for me, which they claimed it was a "free upgrade." Heater didn't work as well. Room was 50 degrees when I arrived. Put it on full blast and it only got up to 58 in 4 hours. I left it on and took off, returning 15 hours later at 3am and the room was still only 62 degrees. The luggage storage lady was rude and inattentive. She was rude when I dropped off my bag and I had to retrieve it myself. Also they used stickers with crappy adhesive so now my luggage has goo on it.
Right in the middle of Downtown New York, easy to get to everything walking or by subway. The hotel had good, reasonably priced food and nice clean rooms. It was great for a weekend get-away with my husband.
The view was nice and facilities were very clean Parking and access to valet/ waiting area were difficult. Rooftop bar was closed.
Meget venligt personale.
Til prisen et ganske udemærket hotel. Fin beliggenhed i meget fredelig gade.
Nej
The view was amazing, hotel was clean and very modern and the staff was incredibly helpful. We were in town for a bike race and they even offered us an hour of entered stay for free so we could shower before driving home. The WiFi was a little unpredictable.
Clean rooms, spacious bathroom. Popeye's on the lower level.
I was looking for a hotel in NYC within walking distance of the Lower East Side, and found this. It was one of the cheapest hotels that met that criterion, at $250 per night (not including tax, which brought it up to $290). The room was sufficiently large to be comfortable to move around in, and the bed was firm (which I like). Everything was clean enough. There is free internet and it's fast enough to use it for work. The person who checked me in was friendly and had been nice on the phone when I called to say I'd be checking in late. The person who checked me out was fine, but less friendly. I can't criticize the staff, though - they were fine. There is nothing in the hotel to enjoy. No lobby to sit in (i.e., there's the front desk and maybe a chair or two, but that's it), no exercise room as far as I can tell, no restaurant, nothing. And no coffee served in the morning, so you can use the coffee machine in the room (which I never do - no fresh milk for coffee makes it unpalatable) or you can walk for a mile to get somewhere to get coffee. So if you get up early (as I did, coming from France I was on a different time schedule), it's really kind of disappointing and difficult. While it was clean, the price wasn't low enough for me to consider it again. I'd rather pay an extra $50 per night and have a better location and overall better hotel facilities. (I might even be willing to pay $100 more for that - it was really that unpleasant.)
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The location was excellent, within a close walk to all of Manhattan's lower east side, and only a couple blocks from the subway. Our room had a great view of downtown and the Manhattan Bridge!
The young woman at the front desk was so kind and helpful. It was a wonderful experience.
I thought that the way this tiny hotel was wedged into this older part of time was cool. Literally the hotel is so small I almost missed it even when looking right at it. A bigger sign would've been helpful. The breakfast bar was good, the staff was friendly, the room was small but had everything needed. My one major complaint was the inability to control the thermostat. There was no cool feature on the thermostat, only heat, and the staff for some reason couldn't explain this to me. I was simply told it would get cooler as the temperature went down. So during the day when it was almost 80 degrees outside, it was almost 80 degrees in our room as well. We were only able to cool the room off at night by opening our window. Also, even though I told the staff several times before my stay (I made my reservation about a month ahead of time) that I would be coming in at 6am I was still unable to get in my room until 1pm. So after riding a bus for 7 miserable hours my wife and I had to walk around NYC for another 7 hours, wearing the same clothes from the day before and with no sleep or showers.
We had to take the tour bus to Niagara falls...and the hotel was at walking distance Good breakfast...and coffee at the lobby through the whole day.
Udmaerket beliggenhed i Chinatovn. gratis internet Continental breakfast yderst noedtoerftigt
Lejlighed overfor kunne kigge lige ind i værelset.
