Fordele: Personalet er meget høflige og hjælpsomme. De ændrede mit værelse, da jeg havde brug for det, og løste et par andre problemer

Ulemper: Bemærk venligst at nogle af bookingstederne kræver betaling ved ankomsten. Dette blev bestilt af mit firma. Heldigvis havde jeg kontanter, men de tog ikke malaysisk Ringgit (hotellet kigger ind på dette, da de er på T4). Vær opmærksom på, at der er begrænsninger på, hvordan du kan betale ved ankomsten. Fordele: Fremragende service. Meget god mad. Venligt personale. Rene enkle værelser. God aircondition. Nem adgang fra terminal 4.

Ulemper: Lang gåtur fra terminal 4 hvis der opstår problemer. Ingen ekstra ting som pool eller transport til og fra lufthavn. Kun det basale, men gjort det godt.

Fordele: Havde et handicap-værelse - god størrelse.

Ulemper: Lidt nærgående personale ved check-in i forhold til at tilføje måltider.

Fordele: Dette hotel var meget rent og komfortabelt med venlige medarbejdere. Sengen og puderne var perfekt til en god nats søvn. Vi blev positivt overraskede over værelset og det overgik vores forventninger. Prisen var fantastisk.

Ulemper: When we checked in the girl on the desk was very unhelpful and pretty rude. No eye contact, smile or desire to help us after a very long day and night of travelling. Other staff were great though, especially restaurant staff.

Ulemper: I don't like the Premier Inn beds. They are far too high, too soft, and try to swallow me whole. I had a backache every morning after sleeping at Premier Inns for seven nights during my trip to Britain.

Fordele: Hotellet er en ren, moderne, veludstyret ejendom. Min eneste klage er at room service var uhyggelig dyrt. Ellers var det perfekt til mine behov.

Fordele: Komfortabel seng. Fantastisk morgenmadsbuffet. Fantastisk personale.

Ulemper: For anden gang er min reservation blevet fejlbehandlet

Fordele: Ease of access to T5, variety of dining & drink options and room service. Very clean and welcoming. All the facilities you could want.

Ulemper: VERY slow service in the bar.

Fordele: Convenience for T5. Rooms are generous, clean and well-appointed.

Ulemper: It’s a vast place - endless corridors. Like waking up as the only survivor on a space ship! However no-one is going to be there for any reason other than the airport so adjust expectations accordingly.

Fordele: The staff was super friendly, it’s such a lovely place for a layover!

Ulemper: We were creeped out by housekeeping knocking on our door at 12:30 past midnight while the DND sign was on and she actually opened the door. Luckily, we had the lock on.

Ulemper: I was a little sad that only one restaurant was available during my stay. I also was hoping to use the sauna, but found out I was required to pay a fee.

Fordele: Same as my other says here ... it's the perfect hotel in every way if you are using Terminal 5 - and still the only choice of quality if you are using any of the other terminals.

Ulemper: Room location by the number is very confusing. The first assigned room was in the process of DE fumigation cleaning and obviously was not ready. Thanks to bellman, who was helping with the luggage, he quickly contacted the receptionist and we were redirected to another room... oooops, it was occupied already, only after that we got our room.

Ulemper: Det var virkelig ubehageligt at ankomme til hotellet og skulle betale for værelset igen, på trods af, at der allerede var blevet trukket penge i forbindelse med bookingen. Dette skyldes dog måske kommunikationen mellem booking.com og hotellet.

Fordele: Et nyere hotel, ganske moderne uden at være chokerende. Dejligt værelse, der minder lidt om IKEA. Vi boede natten mellem to 10+ timers internationale afgange; jeg ville gøre det igen på et hjerteslag. Fantastisk personale!

Ulemper: Hotellet ligger ca. 1 km fra Heathrow Terminal 4, og det kan være en udfordring for personer med nedsat mobilitet.

Fordele: Rent, moderne værelser, fremragende service

Fordele: Receptionens personale var utroligt og imødekommende over for alle vores behov. Værelserne var meget dejlige, og alt fungerede perfekt, meget bekvemt, det er lige ved siden af Heathrow.

Ulemper: When i said to cleaner clean my room and be careful about my things i think she tried open the safe , because when i came back to my room i can not open it , i think there were attempts to open it .. please be careful about your cleaners .. i was angry that night ..

Fordele: The hotel was in a great location for access to T4, was clean with lovely staff and excellent breakfast choices.

Fordele: Staff at Reception and Concierge, just so friendly and professional, nothing was any trouble for them. They knew their hotel, could make rapid decisions, explained things thoroughly yet succinctly. They were all excellent.

Fordele: Super convenient to the airport. Heathrow is huge. It's not the easiest thing to get around, but staying here made it easier. The hotel is very clean. It's a comfortable transition back from European to American standards. The towels are huge and fluffy. They have face cloths. It's sound proof and usually efficient. The beds are really comfortable, and they have black out blinds to you can sleep any time of day.

Ulemper: It took longer than usual to check in. The restaurant is really expensive!

Fordele: Requested wake up call which did not come.

Ulemper: Vi havde en medicinsk nødsituation, som tvang os til at aflyse opholdet med ca. 24 timers varsel. Agent indrømmede system ville ikke lade dem annullere fulde omkostninger, men måske leder. Manageren var først i mandags. Hørte ikke tilbage. (Vil ændre score, hvis han sender beskeder til mig og forklarer, at min konto er blevet refunderet).

Fordele: Trods sin nærhed til Heathrow, var værelset meget stille samt rent, godt airconditioneret og stort efter europæiske standarder.

Deres generiske WiFi var virkelig langsom. Selv om jeg var på ferie med min familie, men jeg arbejdede, og det var svært at downloade en vedhæftet fil

Fordele: Stor lounge, hjælpsom reception. Rabatpriser i forhold til andre hoteller i området. Udenfor indretning og nuværende renoveringer giver meget dårlige førstehåndsindtryk. Værelset var typ Marriott-type indkvartering. Jeg vil anbefale at bruge de ekstra $10+ til at bo andre steder, hvis det er muligt, men vil overveje igen til samme prisinterval, når renoveringen er afsluttet.

Ulemper: Tilstand/indretning. Mad --- forfærdeligt!!! Syntes billigt for et Marriott --nu forstår hvorfor.

Fordele: Beliggenhed

Ulemper: Dette hotel er gammelt og ikke særlig rent. Jeg er overrasket over, at Marriott har ladet dette hotel gå så langt i reparation. Ikke værd 200 USD pr. nat.

Fordele: Sikke en fantastisk beliggenhed. Som en træt rejsende, er det rart, når alt går glat. Personalet var meget imødekommende.

Fordele: Afstand til lufthavnen. Muligheden for at tjene Marriott point.

Ulemper: Hotellet var gammelt og havde desperat brug for en opdatering.

Fordele: clean, efficient and professional. Great night's sleep for a long haul flight the next day.

Fordele: Our suite which overlooked the runway at the airport was excellent. We had the use of the 3rd floor common room which was a bonus.

Ulemper: We were told in writing that we could check in at 15.00. We arrived spot on time but after much frustration with Reception staff, finally got into our suite at 18.00 . This was a disappointment. The other thing that needs attention is the breakfast in the dining room which was rather poor. We have had better fare in much cheaper hotels.

Ulemper: I was given a smoking room. As a non-smoker I did not want to stay in a room that stank of stale cigarette smoke. Receptionist did not tell me it was a smoking room as I was given the key. So I had to return to reception to change the room, which was not quick and easy and as I was then 'upgraded' to a suite, appeared to be one of the last room s available.

Ulemper: More healthier options on the Pub menu!

Ulemper: Overnight car parking charge is too much and no information provided upfront. Online check in tool doesn’t show whether room being check in is smoking or non-smoking. Ended up in booking smoking room but later moved to a non smoking room.

Ulemper: The jacuzzi was not working, so this was a disappointment

Fordele: Lige inde i Heathrow, som var meget praktisk for min elleve timers ophold og tidlig morgen tilslutningsfly. Jeg elskede den kloge brug af rummet. Meget rent og komfortabelt, det var perfekt til mine behov.

Ulemper: Jeg elskede den lille størrelse, men jeg havde også set billeder online og vidste, hvad jeg kom ind i. Dette er et mikrohotelværelse, som måske ikke passer til nogle rejsende.

Fordele: Meget praktisk for næste morgen-flyafgang. Personalet er meget venligt og ivrige efter at hjælpe.

Ulemper: Ekstremt lille og kun tilstrækkeligt. Kan være lidt støjende om natten.

Fordele: Not much about this hotel... The staff were nice enough and they give you complimentary tea and coffee.

Ulemper: The hallway was very smelly and dirty. Sheets were not soft and the bed was uncomfortable. All through the night you are woken up by people extending their beds from the seated position the sleeping position. Unless you are staying in terminal 4, the location is awful - there are no early pre-six am shuttle buses or trains to the other terminals so we ended up spending an additional £22 on a Uber to Terminal 2! Ridiculous!

Fordele: the location being right at the airport is really good. just needed to get into the lift to go check in. Brilliant for early starts. The novelty of the set up is quite cool, and the tv and wifi is good.

Ulemper: the area is a bit rundown and you feel like you are heading into a dungeon when finding your room. Also it is very difficult to find the hotel in the airport premises. it does not have the same level of signage that the other hotels do. you have to use a particular set of lifts other wise you cant find it.

Fordele: The location is perfect.

Ulemper: Cabins could be a bit bigger.

Fordele: Bed was so amazing! And I’m a neat freak and the room passed my test. It was a journey to get to terminal 4 from terminal 3 late night, so i needed a cab but in the morning i enjoyed a free espresso and caught the train downstairs.

Ulemper: It is small! So do not be surprised, but if you have more than one person get a larger room than the standard

Fordele: Staying at Heathrow for an early flight I was very pleased with my accommodation and its location, which was close to the link from Terminal 4 to Terminals 2 and 3. The accommodation was tiny but comfortable and included everything I might have wanted for an overnight pre flight stay.

Ulemper: I found the bed surround a bit difficult to clamber over to get in or out of the bed and I am a reasonably agile person and not overweight.

Ulemper: The room has an air conditioning that blows cold air directly on your face while you are sleeping. Supposedly one can regulate the temperature but it didnt work for me. After two hours in bed without sleeping because of the noise of the fan and the air in my face I got up got dressed and went to reception to ask the guy to turn down the air. The guy told me that was not possible. I left this morning for my day of meetings without having slept and with a cold. I feel dreadful.

Ulemper: There was a peculiar smell that lingered.

Ulemper: Hard to get to late at night. I arrived late at night at terminal 5 and was unable to take terminal shuttle to terminal 4 since shuttles had stopped running. Had to leave airport to use public bus to get back to terminal 4.

Fordele: Cosy, clean and comfortable - and, of course, inside the airport. A great option for a very early flight!

Ulemper: Not Yotel's fault, but it took me 45 minutes to transfer to terminal 4. I'd recommend going by tube and ignoring the 'free train transfer' option - so much walking and trains only seem to go every half hour.

Fordele: The smell of the building every time u enter was amazing. The ambiance was fantastic.

Ulemper: Was a bit of a hassle to walk to another room to use the iron. Also there was no telephone ☎️ in the room to reach the front desk. Apart from that, some as excellent.

Ulemper: Paid for two breakfasts on arrival only to find that when we came down to take it it was a continental style not an English. Premier Inn English Breakfast was cheaper than Moxy's Continental one! Should have been made clear when offering it when booking in!

Ulemper: Pool table should have some rules, like the winner stays, coz people deposit £20 and play all day, that should stop, me and partner wanted to play but couldn’t.

Ulemper: Huge noisy party going on all over lobby when I arrived. Couldn’t find check-in desk. Couldn’t hear what clerk was saying because noise was so loud. Couldn’t get WiFi in room but couldn’t call desk because no phone in room. Tried to go back to lobby for information, but noisy partiers marauding in hallways made me turn back and try to get a little sleep.

Fordele: The place is really amazing, nice bar with playing area, nice place to relax

Ulemper: Rooms are not clean at all, even the girls who come to clean , I found, they do not do Thier job properly

Fordele: The rooms were good valuefor money, very basic and cool. I liked that there were no phones in rooms and that they promoted a face to face experience.

Ulemper: The concierge staff were great but the evening Bar staff were more interested in each other than the customers, but once they realised ypu were waiting they were attentive enough

Fordele: I’ve always wanted to stay at a Moxy and loved this one! They’re so fun to stay at! Conveniently located close to the airport, I’ll definitely be back!

Ulemper: Ingen gratis shuttle bus. Skal betale 5 britiske pund. Vores Airconditioningen var brudt sammen i midten af den nat. Lang gåtur til enhver nærliggende butikker eller restauranter. Ca. 1/2 til 1 kilometer lange tur. Ok, hvis det er en god dag. Ikke så godt på regnfulde kolde dage. Også underbemandet.

Fordele: Hotellet var fantastisk ift beliggenhed og pris. Restauranten var super! Maden og personalet var fremragende.

Fordele: Da vi vendte tilbage til USA fra en europæisk tur, var vi nødt til at flytte fra London Gatwick til London Heathrow sent om aftenen, og derfra afgår der næste morgen fra London Heathrow. Hilton Garden Inn var ideelt. Det ligger tæt på Terminal 4, og gav os et godt sted at bo om natten. Personalet er meget hjælpsomme.

Ulemper: The staff was terrible...we went to dinner last night at the restaurant. The staff never checked on us and the food was terrible

Fordele: It is close to the airport so convenient enough. There is a shuttle bus that runs every 45 minutes for 5 GBP each and takes around 25 mins to terminal 2 and less for 3 and 4. Good Costa coffee available.

Ulemper: The reception floor wasn't very clean. There is no one to help you with the luggage up your room. The furniture in the rooms could use some renovation. The restaurant in room dining service provided cold food though they charge 5 GBP to bring the food up.

Fordele: Hotel is located in LHR airport area, but the room was really quiet. The breakfast food selection was great.

Fordele: Clean rooms and bathroom. Very close to the underground.

Ulemper: Very noisy, could hear everything that went on in the corridor and in the rooms next to ours. Ordered a taxi that was supposed to pick us up for Terminal 2 at 0450 in the morning, but it didn't show up before 0510. That being said, the hotel actually paid the taxi for me once it showed up.

Fordele: Convenience

Fordele: Close to Haton Cross tube station with reasonably priced parking, smallish room but adequate , well soundproofed and very clean. No complaints

Fordele: Good for an airport hotel.

Ulemper: A bit of an expensive cab ride if you get in after the hotel hopper bus stops running for the night.

Fordele: Always a pleasure staying here.

Ulemper: The down side was no breakfast was provided for early morning departures and a breakfast grab bag would have been a good alternative.

Fordele: Excellent location, very good breakfast and helpful staff.

Fordele: Værelset var stort, komfortabelt og pænt fordelt i forhold til, hvad det indeholdt (tv, te- og kaffefaciliteter, strygejern osv.). Bekvemmeligheden for lufthavnen er fremragende, og faciliteterne på hotellet (barer, restauranter, fitnesscenter) er gode. Personalet var meget venligt.

Ulemper: Værelset var mærkeligt. Der var ikke nogen stikkontakter i nærheden af sengen, hvilket ikke giver nogen mening, fordi det betød, at der ikke var et vækkeur, og du kunne heller ikke sætte telefonen i ved sengen for at være et vækkeur. Det virker også uægte, at der ikke er gratis direkte kørsel til lufthavnen.

Fordele: Location for our needs

Ulemper: Having stayed there a few times before we noticed how tired the rooms were they need a big upgrade

Fordele: Bed was comfortable and that’s about it.

Ulemper: Check in took forever; not enough staff. Parking was a nightmare and the room is outdated.

Fordele: Hotel was close to airport. Good when you have early morning flight.

Ulemper: Hotel doesn't have back up generator. We lost power for over an hour and the hotel stayed in total darkness.

Fordele: Purely location to T5

Ulemper: Took 25 mins to find a parking place. Room was dirty. Maid not too helpful when asked for more than one towel for two people.

Fordele: The staff were very helpful and friendly The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable

Fordele: The breakfast was good. Location to the airport was convenient.

Ulemper: The halls and rooms were worn and the floors dirty and stained. The beds were ok and clean. The only thing that didn't look worn was the first floor. The check in staff was pleasant but the information desk was not very helpful. A hotel that close to an international airport should be better prepared to help weary travelers.

Fordele: The rooms were really big and it had lots of room to open your cases. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Ulemper: The bath was quite high and hard to get in to, the bathroom facilities could do with a bit of an update too.

Fordele: Near to m4 and airport, So convenient

Ulemper: Needs a refurbishment the bedroom desk was covered in scratches and grout in bathroom dirty

Fordele: Bed was good. Pillows good. Nice room on 10 th floor.

Ulemper: No bottled water in my room. Location is bad. No shuttle bus goes to or from terminal 4. It cost £17 one way in taxi and £23 the other. I won’t stay there again.

Fordele: Proximity to Heathrow airport. Quiet. Brilliant breakfast.

Ulemper: no breakfast deal in a quite handsome amount of money

Ulemper: We requested non-smoking and breakfast, but it didn't arrange. We waited many time for check-in and check-out.

Fordele: Plenty of facilities; restaurants, gym, spa and shop. However we chose the hotel for its locationa nd the shuttle service. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Ulemper: Thought the internet was poorly priced, i.e. too expensive.

Fordele: Very nice hotel, and served my purpose well as an overnight stay to be close to Heathrow for an early morning flight back to the States.Nice and quiet, even though it is so close to Heathrow.

Ulemper: Don't know who's fault, but when I arrived, hotel had no record of my reservation. a little scarey, as I was being dropped off by my parents, after a 5 hour drive from South Wales, before my flight the next day, back to the us. After probably 15 minutes,the receptionist made a new reservation,and all was well. The other thing that was not good, was that I did not get my 6am wake up call, which could've made for a bad situation, as I was catching a plane! Also, it was not easy to get to off the M4...got lost and ended up on the m25!!

Ulemper: Had to wait for check in, had no record of room with breakfast booked over the internet but found booking was in first name. good job I printer copy to show.

Fordele: Clezan, mostly quite quiet, ideally located for Heathrow / m25

Ulemper: For the second time in succession it took nearly an hour to check in as the Active Hotels Booking had not been received by the hotel. Required phonce calls to Active Hotels to resolve. Not what you need at 7pm at night after a long flight etc etc.

Ulemper: Early check in after a long haul flight was not possible

Fordele: Hotel staff generally good. Room ok, but sink drain a bit slow!

Ulemper: Hotel could not find my booking on the system at all - I.E. no record of the Active Hotels booking. So check-in took nearly 20 minutes whilst we sorted out a new booking.

Ulemper: Little not to like although appearances can be deceptive. Was pleasantly surprised once inside

Fordele: We always enjoying staying at this hotel but the refurbished rooms are amazing, the beds are lovely. Hassan took care of everything, a credit to the hotel.

Ulemper: Nothing.

Fordele: Very clean modern hotel. easy access to Heathrow. Very good value for money.

Fordele: Rooms were good. Room was quiet for airport location. Near a lovely Portuguese restaurant.

Ulemper: Hotel is definitely for one time, short term tourist stop over. Food was okay. Staff were fair but 3 were difficult to communicate with in English.

Ulemper: The hotel was advertised as free parking but it wasn’t paid £12 for parking on top of the booking and booking.com was very misleading on this occasion

Fordele: Fantastisk beliggenhed med gratis transport på byens busser. Værelserne er små, men rene og effektive, mere end tilstrækkelige til en overnatning. Sengene meget behagelige. Restauranten har en enkel menu, men gode drikkevarer. Ingen kommentarer til morgenmaden, da vi var nødt til at tage et tidligt fly.

Fordele: Der er gratis transport fra lufthavnen, der stopper ved en pub, kun 5 minutters gang væk. Det blev ikke godt fremmet. Hotellet ligger kun 10 minutter fra Terminal 5.

Ulemper: Den engelske morgenmad er ikke inkluderet (dvs. æg, pølser osv.), men koster 5 pund. Den kontinentale morgenmad er dog tilstrækkelig med hårdkogte æg, skinke og ost.

Fordele: The friendliness of the reception and restaurant staff . The comfort of the bed. Also the convenience of bus stops to and from Heathrow.

Fordele: The room was very quiet- which I didn’t expect so near to Heathrow Airport! Comfortable bed AND pillows; nice Continental breakfast and the bar was good.

Fordele: The croissants were decent and the room was bigger than I expected

Ulemper: - the staff weren't friendly and left me to carry all my luggage with the luggage trolley all by myself knowing fully well that their corridors were very tiny. It was the most uncomfortable experience ever

Fordele: Cleanliness

Ulemper: The large picture of skydivers on the bedroom wall and the fact that it was reflected in the mirror which was right next to the television and distracted my viewing, The design of the carpeting made the carpet appear dirty There was no towel hook next to the shower No hook on bathroom door to hang dressing gown When we tried to return across the bridge from the main building to our room in the annex when the elevator was out of service, there were no posted signs that we could see how to get to the bridge, but we managed it after walking up and down quite a bit. Two or three arrows would suffice.

Fordele: The breakfast was disappointing, it was continental, fair enough, but tinned fruit and part baked rolls was a poor show. It was extra for a cooked breakfast. Plus the guy cleaning tables was very good at his job, he'd almost cleared the coffee cup before I'd put coffee in it.

Ulemper: The breakfast

Fordele: The room was comfortable enough but a bit shabby.

Ulemper: The staff were really disengaged. There was no-one on the front desk when I arrived but I could hear/see them chatting in the back office. They kept several of us waiting and then didn't apologise. They just didn't smile or make us very welcome. They weren't bad or rude per se, but it's especially important at airport hotels, when travellers are weary, that staff are welcoming and efficient. The staff here need training and enthusing and giving a reason to be proud of themselves. They felt very under motivated to me.

Fordele: The hotel was pleasantly clean and had a modern design in the lobby. Surprisingly quiet for an airport location! The room decor was actually really awesome. Perfect for an overnight stay before flights.

Ulemper: Everything met or exceeded expectations during my time at hotel Ibis. My only complaint was an uncooked sausage but that's fine. I just chose not to eat it.

Ulemper: Difficult to get from t5 Need to catch 140 line which is free by the way but not very well explained in the bus stop

Fordele: Cleanliness . The room was expectionally clean, so clean you can smell the freshness. I came in with a serious headache, the smell soothes my headache.

Ulemper: Think of providing body lotion in the bathroo, Shower caps as well for ladies. We don't like our hair messed up.

Fordele: Close to Airport and Free Airport bus.

Ulemper: Very plain.

Fordele: It was quiet and relatively spacious room for London and continental breakfast was good

Ulemper: Staff member at check in gave me no info about breakfast etc and I had been told the Hoppa bus stopped there but it didn’t but a lovely bus driver was super helpful and made an extra stop for us - the staff member was just not open to info in the hotel

Fordele: Personalet var helt i top. De var alle meget venlige og gjorde vores ophold ganske underholdende.

Ulemper: The music from the lounge was so loud that my room vibrated... lasted until 1am.. for a weary traveler on a connecting flight it was difficult to sleep.

Fordele: Very nice staff

Ulemper: Info on getting to the hotel needs to be made more accessible. Really unclear in Heathrow how to get to the transit buses, also that they cost more than a taxi would if there’s two or more in a party.

Fordele: This hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. The staff are very kind and helpful. The hotel is ideally situated across from Heathrow Airport. And the restaurant offers really delicious food at a really reasonable price.

Ulemper: I booked because it was so close to the airport and had an overnight layover. In the morning, I came down to get a taxi and was told it would be 45 mins! I ended up downloading Uber and it took about 20 mins but this is something that DEFINITELY should have been warned about when checking in (considering my plane ended up taking off about 400 meters from the hotel).

Fordele: Location and general layout

Ulemper: Bed too hard and uncomfortable Breakfast poor ; whilst plentiful and a very good choice we found the chicken cooked breakfast low quality , dry and rather tasteless which i found unusual for a Novotel where the food quality is usually to a high standard

Fordele: Good location for flights from Heathrow. Evening food was ok.

Ulemper: Cooked breakfast not available early in the morning, this should be made clear. If you have paid for breakfast and have an early flight you may be disappointed with cold meats/carrots/cheese, etc. Absolutely nowhere to park when we arrived, had to wait a long while for someone to leave.

Fordele: Spacious, clean and modern rooms.

Ulemper: No windows in the room except one small window in the roof. Hallways were like labyrinth. No free shuttle to and from hotel to airport (have to wait for airport bus) and pay 6 pounds a person.

Fordele: Nice, spacious room - standard double (single occupancy). Very comfortable bed. Close to Heathrow. Good breakfast.

Ulemper: Impersonal check-in with very little information given. The conference facilities were being used by a group - reverberating bass music went on until just after midnight! The idea of having a great night’s sleep prior to a non-stop 16 hour flight to Australia was therefore not realised. Interestingly, I did not hear any plane noise despite jets taking off every 2 minutes less than 1km away! I did have an internal room overlooking the bar area (or maybe the loud music drowned them out!)

Fordele: Nice place to stay close to the airport with a shuttle available to take you in the morning. Comfortable beds. If you’re coming in late, food is served til about midnight and the bar is open til 1am. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

Ulemper: There is a shuttle kiosk you can buy tickets from to pay for your ride to the airport. Most places I’ve been to offers free shuttle service. And I did not see anywhere that if you pay the driver instead of buying tickets ahead of time, he charges a dollar more.

Fordele: The room rate was what lead me to book at the hotel @ £85 including breakfast. I received a follow up email offering additional upgrades etc & took up the 3 course fixed menus deal @ £18.95. It was a French themed buffet which was good value for money.

Ulemper: I had to queue for 20 minutes to check-in at 5:45pm. Given the time of day there should have been more than 1 person on the desk. In the end I was called across to the Radisson members check-in desk which had 2 staff. I requested a quiet room and while my room was a long way from the bustle of reception, restaurant etc. it was far from quiet. The sound proofing of the room doesn't match up to that of other airport perimeter hotels I have stayed in. Also, the fan on the mini fridge in the room kept me awake most of the night. The pillows were too small with one far too soft & the other too hard. It was impossible to get comfortable.

Ulemper: No fridge in my room . I had to keep my fruits in the concierge's fridge. No drinking water put in rooms for clients on a daily basis. I was told this is done only for Radisson members. The receptionist repeating like 4 times to me that i would loose my ten pounds deposit if I dont return the adaptor I took from them as if i didn't understand English which I found very racist as i am African.
