Beliggenheden var fin. Værelset var for elendigt - ikke lige frem 5* standard.
Helt fantastisk service, og en unik beliggenhed. Badeværelset savner et "frugt aftræk" der var damp i værelset en time efter man havde taget bad.
Meget venlig og kompetent medarbejderstab. Meget fin rengøringsstandard. Værelser gode men måske lidt små. Gode senge og møbler i det hele taget. Udmærket restaurant og bar. God morgenmad.
Great location to National Gallery, Piccadilly Square, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace and gardens. Contemporary style, very comfy bed, staff polite and helpful. Free "slow" internet in the room-it was fast enough! Rain shower head. The shower was a bit small so the splashing water would sometimes puddle on the floor. No other complaints!
Quality modern room with a great rain shower. The beds were luxurious. Light switch was confusing. Need separate switch for the bathroom.
We had a lovely week-end stay at the Sofitel London st James.The location is great, staff all very friendly .We had a really nice room and the bed was so comfortable.
There are many things that i loved. Amongst it all the location is outstanding. The staff is a ++ The beds are so comfortable Its is just a bliss from a to z It is a bit expensive and my room was more of a regular room than a superior room

Its position It is not true that airconditioning system is controlled from the room. Actutally the system is not strong enough when there is a very warm climate in uk.

A very friendly hotel
Perfect location for New Year, everything in walking distance, close to Trafalgar Square, easy access to Embankment for fireworks and New Year day parade passed front door...not to mention the hotel festivities, plenty going on in a stylish, refined way. We were only there 24 hours but thanks to location, facilities, easy relaxed feel of the hotel it was the ideal intensive enjoyment hoped for.

A great central location, yet quiet. Close to Oxford Street, convenient for shopping. Near tube station and city attractions/parks. Hotel staff not helpfull (We asked for info how to get to Luton airport and they sent us to the wrong train station. We almost missed our flight). Twin room was small for two people, internet connection and pay TV not working. Rather expensive (201 pounds/night excl. breakfast). Not really a five star hotel.
Great location Hallway is dirty, room does not have tea/coffee maker, however when we asked they did bring us.
the most we like was the location in the centre the most accept the room and the lobby where very bad.chairs in the breakfast room was onacceptebel.the bar on the roof was very , very bad, while the price is a hilton price. no we nevr schould go back.we always are going to hilton in the world but this was the most bad hilton we ever saw.
The staff are very nice & helpful. The steps infront of the enterance gate which makes it a bit difficult for baby strollers.
Unfriendly personal; worn out hotel and a shame for the hilton group. Compared to the langham hilton where I stayed 2 nights before. This hotel is totally out of wack in price quality; Their web site is misleading.

close from shops and resturants I came early in the morning and there was no rooms available! they let me wait for more than one hour although I came from long distance trip! didnt give late check out!
I stay in this hotel at 3 time, but at that time my room was auful - all was broken and was very uncomfortable.
Hotellet er nedslidt, kan rates til højst 4* med pil nedad. Alt for lille elevatorkapacitet. Alt for dyrt Gennemgribende istandsættelse/flere elevatorer/tøfler og badekåber burde være indbefattet.

Vi fik et forholdsvis godt tilbud på 3 overnatninger, men normal prisen er ikke hotellet værd!! Det levede ikke op til 5 stjerner, men faciliteterne var bestemt iorden. Beliggenheden er helt i top, og meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale man skal ikke forvente 5 stjernet luksus
Generelt godt, alt for lille værelse til prisen. Man må aldrig glemme at rengøre og klargøre et værelse - vi manglede cleaning m.m. en hel dag! Prisen skal afspejle et kvalitetsniveau og sådanne fejl må ikke forekomme.

Over charger $2k with a forced apology
The location in Leicester Square was very nice, and the hotel seemed to be a popular place to visit. I received the worst treatment possible from the managerial staff. Firstly, even though they had my reservation, which was made and confirmed a month and a half in advance, they decided that they didn't have any room available for me to stay in when I arrived to check in. I found this to be very unprofessional since they could have called me or emailed me prior to my arrival at the hotel to give me a forewarning so that I could plan ahead as well. The situation was worsened by the staff then relaying this information to me in a very condescending manner in which they had the very unapologetic tone of "take it or leave it". Secondly, they decided that a fair way to "compensate" me would be by reserving a room in another hotel on my behalf, without any input from me regarding choice, and then giving me a ride to this new hotel. I specifically chose the W for my stay and did not choose the other hotel when making my initial plans. So, the manager felt he could take the payment for the room at the W, decide that they no longer have a room at the W, then deny me the choice of an alternative hotel, and all without the option of a refund. They said they were compensating me, but I feel that they cheated me greatly. It was terrible customer service. Eventually, I had no choice but to take their offer of staying at the other property, which I didn't want to stay in, since they were not going to make any room available for me at the W for the night. Truthfully, I feel there were a bunch of racial undertones and biases based on the unprofessional, condescending, unempathetic, and unapologetic tone of the manager and staff. I have stayed at many hotels around the world. This has been, by far, my worst experience with any hotel staff regarding a reservation.
Det var meget rimeligt i pris i folativt storhold til beliggenhed og relativt store værelser. A/c virkede og rent. Mangler dog room bar. burde have room bar
Sød betjening, har boet der i alt tre gange. At blive genkendt af hotelchefen. Det er mit fremtidige valg af hotel, når jeg er i London Et lille køleskab på værelset
Super god beliggenhed. Vi boede på et standard dobbeltværelse og det var rigtig fint til prisen med god plads og dejligt badeværelse. Personalet var hjælpsomt selvom engelsk ikke var deres stærkeste side. Vi kommer gerne igen... Det var meget lydt på værelset, så man kunne høre støvsugning, og støj fra andre værelser, men ingen larm fra gaden. Sengen var hådt og fjedret.
Beliggenheden er unik hvis man vil opleve Londons teater og natteliv. God morgen buffet. Værelserne trænger til en alvorlig renovering.
