Fordele: The hotel has friendly staff who are always helpful and smiling. The rooms are very clean and spacious (it has an Ad for "Deliveroo" the food delivery app which is a nice and rare thing to see as most hotels try to promote their own restaurants). Breakfast was good (English Breakfast) which is usually less than the intercontinental but was delicious. Wi FI Service is good and there is a bus and underground station on a walking distance (8 mints by walk). The area is very quiet.

Fordele: This is a very efficiently run property, the common area is a great place to relax and drinks, nibbles a welcome bonus. The property has security for the lifts and has a welcoming atmosphere. The apartment was spacious, clean and modern. The heated towel rail in a modern bathroom was appreciated and the basement laundry a great asset. We would definitely stay here again even though the exchange rate for AUD makes for an expensive stay. Staff were great, friendly and helpful and happy!

Fordele: I read lots of reviews on this hotel. I thought they were all a bit “too good to be true”, however within few hours of being there, you realize it’s a gem. The hotel is beautiful, the location is awesome with The Eye, Parliament Square, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace are just within 15 minutes walk. You are 5 minutes walk from Thames River and 5 minutes from Vauxhall Underground. Also there is a small grocery store right beside the underground station, where the wine and beer are very cheap. The room was spacious, with kitchen facilities. However while they say it’s a king size, it’s really only a queen size bed, but it was very comfortable. Great water pressure for the shower. Buffet breakfast was awesome and the coffee machine (available 24/7 for free) makes the best Capucinno or latte. The evening manager, I did not get his name, but he is awesome. Ensuring you have everything you want. There is a complimentary snack with hot and cold selection plus wine and beer Monday to Wednesday (7 pm to 8 pm)and the food display is awesome and very good. One of the young lady working the buffet - Eniko, was very nice and constantly helping with whatever you wanted. Finally, we were happily surprised to see that there were FREE laundry facility for guests - they sell soap for 1£. I had never seen that anywhere else. So we were able to wash all our clothes before leaving. All in all, a fantastic hotel that surpasses my highest expectations. I highly recommend this place.

Fordele: This was our 2nd stay at Marriott County Hall in less than a year. I love the location of this hotel. I always like my room with the river view and the views of Parliament and Big Ben (although it's been shrouded in scaffolding). The staff are very accommodating, professional, helpful and kind. The breakfast is good--gets you well fueled for your day of exploring and touring. The rooms are well appointed, comfy beds, good temperature controls and amenities. excellent water pressure in a super clean big bathroom. Love having after-touring nibbles and drinks in the bar.

Fordele: This hotel is top notch! The room is super nice and the restroom is massive with a really nice shower. We were greeted with champagne and in our room was complimentary champagne and macaroons since we were celebrating our honeymoon! The location is everything! It is right next to the London Eye and there are so many activities and places to eat in a walking distance. It is definitely worth staying if you can spend a little more in London.

They invited a glass of wine to other guests but not to us -maybe because we were with toddlers?- not very nice.. The bathroom didn't have a little chair. Ulemper: The food is a pricey BUT it's good and you get what you pay for. It's a big hotel and one of our rooms was about a 2 minute walk to the elevator so if that's an issue for you make sure to request one closer to the elevators.

Fordele: Despite this it was an excellent hotel and a fantastic stay overall. Great facilities and room service excellent. Had a very memorable trip here , the location couldn't be better with Big Ben on your doorstep. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and bigger than expected. Bed very comfortable and shower/bath facilities excellent for families. Any problems were sorted extremely quickly each time and staff very apologetic.

Fordele: Despite this it was an excellent hotel and a fantastic stay overall. Great facilities and room service excellent. Had a very memorable trip here , the location couldn't be better with Big Ben on your doorstep. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and bigger than expected. Bed very comfortable and shower/bath facilities excellent for families. Any problems were sorted extremely quickly each time and staff very apologetic.
Ulemper: Key card to room was an ongoing issue unfortunately. Needed to be changed each time we come back to the hotel which was very annoying, especially when on way back from the spa in a bath robe. Kept away from mobile phones/ electronics etc. and room door was checked however still it wasn't working each time we came back. I had the same problem at a sister hotel I stayed in last year. I really hope the issue can be sorted!

Ulemper: Personalet ved receptionen var meget uprofessionelle. Vi ankom til hotellet kl ca 1 om natten. Det tog os 3 kvarter både da vi tjekkede ind og ud. De roede rundt i hvad vi skulle betale og ikke betale. Og så gik receptionisten efter hjælp og vi stod og ventede på ingenting i 20 min i den hun kom igen

Ulemper: It was a tad bit off the beaten path. Since it is next to the Police Station and near St. Thomas Hospital we heard a lot of sirens. Also it is a 10 minute walk from any store and there are no vending machine or snack shop on site.

Ulemper: Okay, the hotel has no concierge service! Then the rooms are a good size, but lack natural light and even the 2 tiny bulbs aren’t enough if you are trying to work in the room. The room I stayed in superior.. second floor had water clogging both in the sink and the shower!! Didn’t expect this at all from a chain. Also, the staff I called to book my room was sweet and pleasant but the staff checking me in had a condescending tone. But hey, again the staff that checked me out later was very sweet. So probably just my bad luck. Anyways, for the price much better rooms available, also cheaper hotels in lambeth would be better than this! I chose this over the near by hotels thinking it would be better as a chain etc. but no.

Fordele: Dette var et fantastisk moderne hotel, som jeg havde en rigtig god ung stemning, men tog sig også rigtig godt af min mand og jeg og hendes 16-måneders gamle barn. De fik en barneseng med et gåsedunstæppe, og personalet var meget behageligt med ham, især i restauranten/loungen.
Betjeningen var fremragende, det eneste minus var, at det tog køkkenet længere end normalt at få mad ud i restauranten.

Very comfortable bed, clean and good layout. Would definitely stay here again in London. Even has a little market store couple doors down. We enjoyed the Bar at hotel, great service, drinks and typical bar food. We did use room service one night after walking all over city and it was decent and decent prices for the location. We did use the provided tea kettle with our own tea. They also had a cappuccino machine with supplies but we didn’t try it. Refrigerator was stocked with basics.

Ulemper: Our only two complaints are that we wished cleaning lady would have replaced our tea cups at least once. I was washing them several times a day. Wish there was a little room in fridge for leftovers or extra waters.

Træls, at man 2 personer skulle dele en dobbelt dyne i en Kingsize bed/dobbelt seng. Dårligt, at kun visse folk havde adgang til hotellets lounge på 12. etage, når man ud fra booking får indtryk af, at alle har adgang. Dårligt, at der står i booking, at der er køleskab på værelset, når den er låst og ikke kan anvendes.

There seemed to be a reluctance for the kitchenette to be used as a kitchenette (as noted above good range of appliances though) in that the bowls / plates / pans / cutlery / etc were virtually non-existent and we had to repeatedly (almost) beg for them to be placed in our room.

Ulemper: It was an anniversary for my partner and myself and I mentioned this to the hotel when booking and asked if they could make our stay special but nothing was done. There was no coffee or tea in the room. No robes towels or slippers. Stickers on the floor of the bathroom?? Looked like they had been there some time?? Dirty bed linen. The TV didn’t work either?? For £290 p/n I expected more and we left feeling very deflated and I wouldn’t have thought we’d stay there again!! This was our 3rd visit this year as well.

Ulemper: Breakfast is very chaotic no tables available even though we were down at 8am had to wait until a table became available as there was 4 of us we had to wait over 15mins.

Ulemper: Room wasn't ready for 2 o'clock, it was past 3 o'clock before it was ready, bit frustrating as we had checked in at 12.30 and was told the room would be ready at 2pm, we were given a complimentary drink in the bar while we waited. Also was asked if we wanted the patio doors unlocked which we did, and had to sign a Health & Safety disclaimer but when we got into the room, the patio doors were looked, so had to phone down to ask them to come up and unlock them.

Ulemper: The hotel is tidy but not clean. The staff are friendly but over worked and seem harried and ill trained. Our room was dingy and could use updating and a scrub, and a new mattress. Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. Kind of the weak sister of the Park Plaza Westminister next door and poorly managed it seems.

Ulemper: Beware!! The booking agent Cancelon has a early date trigger converting to a non-refundable reservation after promoting "free cancelation". Its geared to pushing the non-refundable reservation to their site to sell. The listing process was incredibly difficult requiring re-entering all online data resulting in no sale or compensation. Would avoid booking through Cancelon in the future.

Ulemper: We had a problem one day when we returned to the room at 5pm to discover it had not been serviced. It took two phone calls and one visit to the front desk over one hour before anyone came to clean the room. This prevented us relaxing and enjoying the room after returning from a busy day in the city.

Ulemper: Facilities: there's not nearly enough showers. Atmosphere: OMG, such a bad atmosphere among guests. The one time I arrived at night, I turned on the light to find my bed without stumbling over stuff that was lying on the floor. Immediately a guy two beds over shot upright and started ranting at me about turning on the light and apparently waking him in the process. (I have yet to meet a hostel where people don't arrive during the night and turn on the lights.) I apologised, turned off the main light, went to the sinks in a seperate room within the dorm and, yes, turned on the lights within that room to brush my teeth. Immediately, another guy who slept next to the entrance of that little room started verbally abusing me for turning on the light and waking *him*. Not my fault the hostel couldn't be bothered to put a curtain or a door there to block the light from spilling into the dorm. Anyway, I want to charge my phone and notice that the socket meant for my bunk bed (and the only one close enough to charge my phone without having to put it on the floor where everyone can steal it) has been used for a fan. No problem, theres another socket I can plug the fan into and re-claim my socket. I unplug the fan, plug in my phone and start plugging the fan into the other socket. Guy 1 jumps out of his bed, comes up in my personal space, starts complaining about my unplugging the fan. I try to explain that I'm definitely gonna turn the fan back on, but he keeps chanting 'fuck you' over and over to silence my words. I still charge my phone (without unplugging the fan), and guess what magically disappeared by the next morning? My adapter. Not my phone (with a drained battery), but my international adapter. Fair to assume Guy 1 did it. I inform an employee of what happened. They make promises about talking to the guy, asking him about the adapter etc. And then proceeded to not do any of that.

Fordele: Average and overpriced.
Ulemper: The room was Hot with no A/C. The shower was clogged for two days. I reported the first day the front desk person informed me that the maintenance person had already left and will get it fixed the next day. Nobody showed up till 2 Pm t and ill till I went back to inform again. Again I had to tell them that I had to take a shower in a clogged shower, and my ankles developed a rash with standing water. I requested the manager to give me a fifty percent refund, and he refused to do it. The carpet was dirty with spots, and when I opened the windows, people were smoking weed, and all the smell was coming in my room. In other words, the room was not as described with a very uncooperative manager — Will Talk to my credit card company for a refund.

Ulemper: We arrived at Chelsea Guest house which we chose for its location for our evening activity but were then told we were in Clapham guest house half a mile down the road. The building we were staying in had a team of decorators in and everything (stairs included) was covered in plastic with workmen everywhere. In the morning all we could hear was men at work outside our room scraping walls etc. Also on very top floor and no fire escape that we could see. Furniture cheap chipped & shabby, and carpet old, marked and had not been vacuumed. Beds ok and comfy enough. Bathroom tiny but clean.

Fordele: The location of the hostel was great! My first night there, I walked into town to see the London Eye, Parliament/Big Ben, and Westminster Abbey. Then, I walked back. Round trip: 1 h, 30 mins. The hostel is also close to a Tube station, so getting anywhere is a breeze.
Staff were friendly, price was good, and there was a good mix of travellers.

Fordele: Everyone was extremely friendly! The discounts are very good if you stay there, and everything is relatively clean, especially considering the price. If you are looking for a hostel that is well connected this is great, 5 minutes from the tube and 1 minute from multiple bus routes.

Only two showers and two toilets between approx. 25 people. I'm actually quite surprised it wasn't too much of an issue. Bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner.

It is 13-15 minutes away from London Eye by walking and around 10 minutes away by tube from Picadilly square. The rooms are small compared to what you see online but the value for money is great compared to other options at the other side of the Thames.

Ulemper: The bed was tiny a standard double, only fit for one person in my view. There is no air conditioning so we had to have the window open and it's on a very noisy road. Finally the whole property feels a bit run down especially the interiors of the lifts which are in a terrible state.

Ulemper: Room, bed and bathroom were very small and the photos online made it look much bigger. You can barely get into the shower, the way the shower door opens, without hitting the sink. Plus, it was clear glass, so my daughter couldn't use the bathroom, if I was in the shower and vice a versa. I had also thought that continental breakfast was included in the price I paid, only to find out there, that it wasn't, which was embarrassin! Then the young man at the breakfast check-in, nor the lady at the counter was very forgiving or formidable about that. Gave me two £2 coupons off of a £7.95 continental breakfast. (I paid over $100 a night for a tiny room without even a continental breakfast.)

Ulemper: Additional towels were not located in the room as we were told at the desk. Tried to call the desk and the phone was never answered. Very, very small shower. We were fortunate to be there in September when it was cool enough to sleep with the window open. With the floor fan located in the room, I'm guessing there is no A/C in the summer.
