Fordele: Perfect location just outside Tower Hill station. Easy self check-in and friendly staff who suggested us a nice place for breakfast. Lots of movies to chose from in TV and with funny room light setting :) Lovely rooftop bar with great view.

Ulemper: We changed room for one time because the aircon is not working well. We tried to set the temp to 18C with highest fan mode but it has no wind and feels like 20-23. Technician came by and said this is the best temperature they can have. So for people who are scared of heat might need to take this as consideration. (Though you won't feel too hot when you are just lying on bed...) Room 509 ipad screen touching not working too well, cannot change channel since second day so need to use the remote control. A bit surprised that there is no kettle in room. Can't get any hot water so need to get out for hot tea/coffee... Slightly overprice, probably because we booked too late and it is mid-Sept where students/parents are visiting UK...

Fordele: Very comfortable large bed. Very good breakfast and coffee. Stunning views from the bar.

Ulemper: Had ‘interior’ room was expecting one with a view, as headlined on your web site. We asked to change but no outside view rooms available. Disappointing as we had booked the hotel almost a month before. Who gets the view rooms and why? Didn’t like having to crawl into bed, I.e. no space either side to get into bed as normal, not easy for two pensioners, one with arthritis. Hot Breakfast first morning was good, second morning, only eggs were actually hot.

Fordele: Wonderful hotel with incredible views over the London Tower! Perfect location, with Tower Hill underground station just below the hotel. We had a noise issue with some water pumps and they changed us the room without any problem, thank you for that! Nice pubs and restaurants close to the hotel. Highly recommendable hotel!

Fordele: The hotel is clean and the staff very helpful

Fordele: The location, the view, the staff, the room (everything controlled by the ipad) room keys worked the entire time we stayed, the design of the hotel, seemed like there was an emphasis on being eco friendly. Even though the room is small it has everything you need and if it isnt in the room it’s somewhere else in the hotel. The sky bar is amazing especially at night with everywhere outside lit up

Fordele: We liked the cleanliness and the kind and responsive staff that helped us out with anything extra we needed. The bed and pillows were perfect.

Ulemper: The rooms are a little small but that is the case everywhere in London.

Fordele: Fantastic breakfast, amazing view, cozy hotel and very nice staff. Perfect location and right next to the metro. I love this hotel!!!!

Fordele: Hotellet ligger perfekt i forhold til transport rundt i byen og fra Stansted lufthavn. Værelset var godt indrettet det er ikke det største rum men det var tilpas. Vi var meget imponeret over værelset faciliteter og deres medie opmærksomhed. Der er nogle skønne opholdsrum, både loungen i stueetagen og især tag baren var skøn. Morgenmaden havde et godt udvalg med et fint kaffe udvalg og juicer. Så vi er helt sikre på at komme igen.

Ulemper: Not a fan of adjoining rooms, albeit there were not accessible to each other. Trying to find the ice machine on the 1st floor was like playing hide and seek. Later went to the 3rd floor one, which was at least sign posted.

Fordele: Breakfast great.

Ulemper: Was told there was parking, but this was off site and at an additional cost.

Fordele: The room was very comfortable and I was surprised by the size. The doorman was a nice touch.

Ulemper: I was overcharged. The breakfast was not worth the £15. The in room tea/coffee service had rotten milk cups with a very rancid smell. They said they would make up for it but they never did because I was checking out. I am currently trying to get back $17

Fordele: Hotel is really nice and clean, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The view from our room was perfect we can see the view of London at the night time perfectly..I really like the place.

Fordele: Location was good, bedroom was reasonably spacious and bed was comfortable, air con was good and responsive. Concierge was very polite and helpful.

Ulemper: Bathroom was poor. It was small and instead of glass panels around the shower/bath, the was a shower curtain, which whilst was adequate, was not the most hygienic, reduced the space available in the shower and looked awful. Not what I would expect from a ‘5*’ hotel. The staff at breakfast did not appear particularly interested in making the first meal of the day a particularly pleasant one.

Fordele: I love the spacious and cleanliness of the room. Also, the bed is so comfy that i feel like sleeping in longer.

Ulemper: For first timer, it was pretty difficult to find the hotel as I traveled via undergrounds train. Even though I was using google map but was not that easy to get our way there.

Ulemper: That there was loud banging from 6am - 11am that sounded like someone was drilling in the air vent

Ulemper: Television didn't work and suite is looking tired

Fordele: The cleanliness of the room was fantastic and the bed was very comfortable.

Fordele: We were given a room that had a fantastic view over the quay.

Fordele: Staff very polite and put customers first at all times. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Rooms very comfortable. We pre ordered Breakfast in the room for 9am. Breakfast arrived at 9am on the dot!!!.

Ulemper: No Bad Point to report.

Fordele: Went as a London marathon runner. Made people feel welcome. Nice touch to give out free bananas & water. Clean hotel. Good gym facilities.

Ulemper: Slow check in process. Expensive dinner & breakfast. I booked hotel when vat was 15%&my stay was when it was 17.5-hotel charged difference. Thought the hotel as a gesture could have met small cost itself.

Fordele: Staff were excellent. Hotel very clean and well kept.

Fordele: Er for dyrt i forhold beliggenheden (det tager lang tid at komme ind til centrum).

Ulemper: absolute nightmare to get to because of road works surrounding the immediate vicinity, however, this isn't so much a negative about the hotel itself. was disappointed we had the choice of either paying an extra £30 to park in the public car park opposite for 2 days or an extra £50 to have it valet parked. we weren't expecting such a high charge.

Fordele: Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great. Good location for business in Canary Wharf or central London. Great Cab company near the hotel (Carrot Cars). Tesco close incase you get the munchies. Not far from Stratford Westfield for late shopping.

Fordele: Loved our stay there

Fordele: Incredible friendly staff. We had an issue at breakfast and they couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful. In particular, Sara at check in, Jerome in the restaurant and Tim at checkout.

Fordele: The big TV in the room. We were given an upgraded room for our special occasion. We received some chocolate and a card from the manager. We would both like to say thank you. We love the pool. The staff were nice.

Ulemper: We couldn’t check in at 3pm but did appreciate the staff sincerity and the vouchers we were given to spend at the bar. There is not much to be honest not to like.

Ulemper: Bed felt like it had crumbs in it and not made very well. Breakfast was cold, so I asked for a new one. They microwaved a breakfast and gave it to me. When I left half of my breakfast as it was soggy due to being microwaved. One of the staff (a short black man with short hair) shook his head and said you havent even eaten any of it and questioned me leaving being very rude in the process. I looked back when walking upstairs and he was bad mouthing me to other members of staff. Other than that particulat gentleman, the staff were amazing.

Fordele: Hotel staff were very helpful. They upgraded our room to a river view room because it was our wedding night stay, and gave us complimentary cake and fruits upon arrival. They also gave us a free breakfast upgrade, and allowed us to check out late the next day. Rooms were big and comfortable, and access to the spa was fantastic.

Ulemper: Could have done with more complimentary bottled water in the room.

Fordele: Thank you very much for a perfekt time esp. in the extraordinary pool

Fordele: Staff were amazing and helpful. Nikolay showed us to our room and was always ready to help. The view from the room was beautiful, couldn't come away from it ! The infinity pool and spa facilities were really good. The hotel gives you the card key to get out of the gates to the fitness and spa facilities, as well as a lock for the lockers. The gym provides bath robes and towels.

Ulemper: Didn't have a kettle and tea services in the room, but the view from the room and the amazing staff more than made up for that.

Fordele: The best thing was the view of the River Thames, and the pool and gym (operated by Virgin Active)

Ulemper: This is very much a hotel for business travellers. Everything works fine but there is NO luxury. You do not feel luxurious in this hotel. It's a great shame as with very little expense this hotel could be exceptional. It may hold a 5* rating but in my opinion at very best 3*

Ulemper: "smart tv" where some of the previous guests broke the chromecast, they also stuck some gum under the tv.

Fordele: Everything was excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful, Jay was absolutely fantastic, she really looked after us and made us feel very welcome , room service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. Location is great for the Thames Clipper. Thanks again Jay for everything

Ulemper: It was all good , there were no negatives

Fordele: Very convenient for Whitechapel Tube and the curry houses of Brick Lane. MPW’s chophouse is great for brunch. One of the oldest cinemas in London is just down the road. And the staff are really lovely.

Ulemper: Nothing.

Fordele: Very helpful and friendly staff.

Ulemper: The lights in the room turned off and on in rapid succession through the night. I had to rely on my cell phone for light while in the room. The lights stayed on for not more than 15 minutes for 7 of the 8 nights that I was there. They offered to move me to another room but it was inconvenient to pack and unpack without knowing that the other room won’t have same problem. Too bad that their electrician could not fix it. Considering the inconvenience, the hotel should have offered a rate adjustment. Loved London but will definitely stay at another hotel next time.

Fordele: Beautiful building, good reception staff and nice, stylish room.

Ulemper: The breakfast was a bit of a let down and I hope this is constructive feedback. The staff were surly and seemed half asleep, there were no side plates for the continental breakfast or teaspoons - surely after 5 - 6 people ask for a teaspoon you’d think to put them on the table as standard? I saw one poor woman stirring her tea with a knife, with nowhere to put the teabag. The coffee was so bitter it was undrinkable and we asked for several things like ketchup that just never arrived. Also, at no point were we told or was it indicated on the menu that we could have had the cereal from the cereal bar, and why is it completely separate from the breakfast area? It just makes no sense. It’s a real shame as the rest of the hotel was really nice. Just needs a bit of work to make it somewhere you’d want to return to.

Fordele: While the rooms are very small, they are both well designed and fun. I like properties with character, and this one has loads! Lots of funky places to sit, work, chat - I wish I had had more time there! I also loved the fact that people - staff as well as guests - seem to come from all corners of the world. I love that.

Ulemper: Nothing to complain about at all, just a small suggestion (which I believe has already been noted), at the breakfast buffet there was only black tea on offer - though it was no problem at all to get a lovely green tea on request.

Fordele: Modern and trendy hotel with nice bar. Rooms are compact.

Ulemper: Cleanliness needs work, room was dirty, flooring was coming up. The hotels location is right on a main road so there is a LOT of noise from outside at all times of day! It’s also next to a hospital so there is constant sirens. Staff were not particularly helpful or interested in issues when we checked out!

Fordele: Location good, walking distance from Brick Lane/Shoreditch and nearest underground (Whitechapel) on direct like to Kings Cross. The ground floor was quite funky although we didn't sample food or drink there. Room had everything needed and clean and comfortable. Not big but we were hardly in it so not a problem!

Ulemper: Problem with electrics in room after first night . Sorted quickly and moved to room next door.

Fordele: Staff amazing, especially Samanta! Fantastic at her job and goes above and beyond to help me out. I will be contacting Samanta directly via email when staying at new road hotel again. Look forward to staying again

Ulemper: Sometimes the cleaners are noisy when they are cleaning next door.. only on rare occasions apart from that all is ok.

Fordele: Bed, the shower rooms and the breakfast.

Ulemper: Reception staff were excellent. Bar staff breakfast and restaurant staff seemed quite happy to leave you for some considerable time without taking your order.

Ulemper: The bar closes at 11 pm. The bar staff were grumpy and unhelpful. There are idiots running reception on night shift, who don’t look after security. Beggars were in the bar begging at night. Not impressed with the quality for a £200 / night hotel.
