Fordele: It’s an excellent building with high ceilings and very four seasons style.

Ulemper: You cannot open any windows even I the rooms look Inside the building , so no fresh air which I do find it very healthy, very slow room service after midnight.

Fordele: Gym SPA and the very welcoming staff Best ever I experienced

Ulemper: The breakfast is a bit different than what we used to have in other hotels

Ulemper: The was only one issue there was no information about insurance which was 250£ but this is a minor issue the real one that i had to wait for 3 weeks to get it back It’s Truly unfortunate because i told the Reception that I want to pay for the room by visa and I want to pay for the insurance by cash but they mix it all up

Fordele: Absolutely fantastic hotel enriched in character. The best part of my stay was how helpful the hotel staff were, particularly the Reception staff who could not have been more helpful or welcoming. The Landmark Hotel is/has been my consistent choice of stay when visiting London, however this now is my No 1 choice.

Fordele: Staff were friendly and receptive, we were able to check in early and was even upgraded! It looked and was luxurious! The bed was incredibly comfy! Location brilliant! An overall brilliant stay, we shall be returning!

Fordele: the location is very good. The tower, ferry pier, underground stations and bus depot are all within walking distance( 5 min). The room was fine and the staff helpful.

Ulemper: The breakfast selection was tiny and the place had many flies.

Fordele: Bed was extra comfy. Every detail was carefully thought about. Our balcony was massive! Breakfast was lovely! Hairdryer was really good too! Ironing board on room was great! It was my husbands 50th birthday and on arrival was apiece of lovely cake on a plate with happy birthday on it!

Ulemper: Could have been a biscuit for morning coffee in room

Fordele: Everything. They upgraded our room for my 30th birthday celebrations. A dessert (amazing cake) with best wishes on my birthday was waiting in our room. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice building and interior. Very good location.

Fordele: The hotel was absolutely beautiful.

Ulemper: We had some trouble with checking into the hotel and spent almost an hour standing at the reception desk before being checked in. We had paid for a double room with included both a shower and separate bath. There was no bath. The room itself looked nice but was not as big as advertised. We came back to the room after enjoying drinks and entertainment downstairs within the hotel. Pulled back the bed covers to find a nice dirty sock that didn’t belong to us. In the morning we woke up to a foul blocked toilet that absolutely stank and was quite obviously out of use. We called the hotel staff who told us there wasn’t actually anything they could do about it immediately and would send an engineer. However the issue still wasn’t even attended to by the time we checked out. Extremely disappointing given the amazing reviews we read about before choosing this hotel.

Ulemper: when we checked in the “pre authorisation” was not explained to use properly. Therefore they was going to charge us twice. However when addressed we relieved a complimentary breakfast and free late check out. Also booking.com said we got breakfast included within the price and when We arrived this was not the case. When we called booking.com they was extremely rude and they hung up on us. TERRIBLE customer service.

Fordele: I have not had such great service in a very long time. From the moment I was at the front of the hotel every person I came in contact with, was helpful and had such great attitudes. I will be staying here in the near future!

Ulemper: I would have preffered more lighting in the room.

Fordele: Alt i alt var dette ophold helt perfekt! Alt fra værelse til rengøring og især morgenmaden levede op til forventningerne. The Ned kan helt klart anbefales!

Fordele: Eggs cooked exactly how I had ordered. Good price. Great butter. The rooms and communal areas are exquisite. Elegant feel without being stuffy.

Ulemper: Their deposit and refund to account policy could be more transparent. Quite confusing.

Fordele: I love the amenities in the toilet and the courteousness of the staff. You have all you need for your stay.The location is superb and the antic nature of the property lingers in my memory. To put simply , its heaven for lovers. However, the breakfast is not so fantastic. I really did not enjoy it.

Ulemper: breakfast. There should be better option from different available 7 restaurants on the ground floor

Fordele: The room was excellent and the bed super comfy. Especially liked the little extras in the minibar.

Fordele: The facilities and the room itself exceeded our expectations. We arrived to be told our room had been upgraded which was fantastic thank you very much.

Ulemper: We were kept up most of the night due to scaffolding work that was being carried out opposite which wasn’t pleasant as we paid so much for a room we could hardly sleep in. Also, slightly gutted that we was looking forward to the secret garden bar that we were not allowed to even go to or experience as there was a private party. Overall I’m not very impressed with the £360 I have paid.

Ulemper: Not putting a dog bowl in my mums room - we don’t have dogs mixed up with another guest but sorted swiftly. I didn’t like that we could use the secret garden much as there were functions on. Should let guests know in advance.

Fordele: The staff that we encountered on Checkin in were great. They were amazing and very accommodating. Some staff in the outdoor bar were not that nice when they saw us. Which was sad

Ulemper: The actually room wasn’t that great. Paid for 2 add ins and they didn’t leave up to anyone’s expectations. Considering this was for a wedding nights stay- not very good. Phone and remote control laced with dirt- byway disgusting.

Fordele: The hotel was imaculate, the restuarant was great and the staff were very helpful

Fordele: The location is very convenienct both for business and sightseeting. The room was reasonably spacious and quiet.

Ulemper: The lobby near the reception was not scpacious enough, although I feel it might be inevitable due to the lacation (the city centre).

Fordele: Refurbishment almost complete making a very nice place to stay. Fantastic room with free mini bar. Location is brilliant for tube,fail and dlr.

Ulemper: An Australian couple who made everyone's life a misery at breakfast did nothing but complain about having to serve themselves with uncooked items, just have thought they were at the Ritz

Fordele: Et virkelig hyggeligt hotel, som er tæt på Aldgate Station, så det er nemt at komme til og fra. Rigtig dejlig morgenmad og mulighed for hygge på pubben om aftenen. Alt i alt, et dejligt sted.

Ulemper: Vi havde en ekstra opredning, som godt kunne have været mere komfortabel, uanset om det er noget hotellet er vant til at gøre eller ej, så bør dette undersøges, inden tilbuddet gives til besøgene.

Fordele: This hotel was very good, we really liked that they give us quiet room (because we asked for it), there was no sound from outside. Breakfast was amazing, we really loved it. Location was good, metro and DLR stations nearby.

Ulemper: Maybe hotel was a little bit overpriced. But need to remember that we were in London which is not cheap place to stay.

Fordele: There is major building work going on!! You have to use the service lift and the corridors smell of paint. Not worth the expensive charge!!

Ulemper: Undergoing disruptive renovation, shouldn’t be charging full price. One slow lift in use, no stair access. Breakfast dismal. Baristas & staff need urgent training, extremely poor buffet options, no muesli or fresh juice, the cooked (obviously precooked) & reheated badly.. cold poached eggs on small, dry hard muffins. Dishes not cleared away, attempt at making own coffee failed... first no beans, then no milk ...

Ulemper: Food was fantastic however staff didn't check you had cutlery when serving your meal. We had to steal some from another table.

Fordele: Stayed here for 1 night for work and was impressed. Great location, only a short walk to London Bridge area. Beautiful rooms with great decor, comfortable beds. Breakfast restaurant area very nice also.

Fordele: Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Coffee machine was a lovely feature, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was spacious.

Ulemper: Couple of little annoyances such as fire alarm testing at 8am waking me up with a fright and room keys being reset and locking us out each day.
